2541  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is a side hustle, not a life or death situation on: September 05, 2021, 09:26:54 PM
Of course, it depends on how one earns from cryptocurrencies. Some people just buy crypto like any other asset, hold it long term and then sell it later. This kind of investment is less stressful, and you get enough time to do your other jobs

While for day trading, it is whole new different level. One has to keep up with market movements and news. You can not do another job well while day trading at the same time. It will completely mess you up.

Getting loans or investing what you can not afford to lose is one of the biggest rookie mistake ever. It will leave you restless and not psychologically Ok in the long run.
2542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 05, 2021, 08:58:43 PM
That is insane if his contracts finishes next season then Real Madrid will only pay agent fees and every other bonuses will go into Mpabbe's pocket, this how free agent transfer works, the €80m is a ridiculous amount and I don't your source is genuine.
That's a significantly small amount compared to what Real Madrid was willing to pay PSG in the last hours of the Summer transfer window.
Despite the hard times due to COVID19. I think Real Madrid have been preparing to make some major signings and cover all other expenses for a while by not being very active in the market buying new players while at the same time selling or releasing most of the old players whose salaries have also been very insane.
2543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 05, 2021, 08:43:10 PM
I can doubt that ability of Dani Olmo if only look at his performance in Leipzig and compare the general quality, competitiveness of Bundesliga and La Liga.

After I watched the performance of Olmo in Euro 2020, I don't have any doubt about his ability to succeed in La Liga. He had great matches in the Euro and he played very well with Spanish players in the national team. It shows Olmo's playing style is good if he plays in La Liga.
Maybe if you are referring to the Barcelona of 2 decades ago, not this current Barcelona. Yes he has the ability to succeed in La Liga but under which kind of team, coach and conditions is he going to be. Warming up the bench rarely helps a player, especially young talent to progress.

Look at most of the players Barcelona has tried to spend huge amounts of money on in the recent years. I would say it's only Depay who might have a good time as per his first few match performances.
2544  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo Wallet on: September 05, 2021, 07:54:48 PM
Xapo big SCAM, they stole about $250 of my money, I received an email to immediately withdraw but access was denied, even though I entered my username and PIN correctly, and when they asked to recover their account they said the account was blocked, hopefully they will realize and return the customer's money.
Web wallets are a very bad idea to store your assets in and Xapo is one of those wallets that are at the very end of being very bad alongside blockchain wallet and freewallet. Next time you think about safe guarding your funds. Try using noncustodial wallets like electrum, Jaxx, Exodus.

What is the reason they said for blocking your account. I know their customer service department is trash as it would take weeks for getting a response but they need to give you a reason for blocking the account. Even i had an issue a few years back and it took a few weeks to get them sorted. Their app was mess and you are not able to access the website and it was time to move on and i am surprised that anyone uses their wallet now a days.
Probably the flagged off due to a new login from a different device
2545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Letting Crpyto Exchanges Find A Camera On A Cell Phone To Verify Documents on: September 04, 2021, 09:57:24 PM
It would be much easier to find a solution if you could specify how you are accessing the crypto exchange. Via app (Android always has an option to enable permissions for the app to access camera or storage) or through the browser? If though the browser, which one in particular?

What's the name of the exchange you are trying to verify the documents?
2546  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: FixedFloat — fully automatic cryptocurrency exchange with Lightning Network⚡️ on: September 04, 2021, 09:50:07 PM
-snip-

Perhaps you might want to open up a scam accusation to gain more attention. But this is one thing you should know about instant exchangers, they may not ask for KYC but most of them use third party exchanges. Should your transaction appear suspicious. The third party exchanges will hold the funds and not actually fixed float. Always take a look at the terms and conditions of a service before making a transaction.
2547  Other / Meta / 9 posts by 0 user deleted? on: September 04, 2021, 09:33:15 PM
I was looking at this self moderated thread and then noticed something rather peculiar. It's showing that 9 posts were deleted, but there's no indicated number of users whose posts were deleted in the thread.

What could be the cause of this?
Bug?
2548  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for local transactions on: September 04, 2021, 08:59:22 PM
What if someone comes in with a gun pointed to your head?
It's why the guide is pinned there in the first place. Read through it again carefully. It emphasizes traders to meet up in public places where there are so many people to avoid scenarios where one can be robbed on gun point or mugged minus any witnesses.

Personally, I have heard some cases where people were robbed off their bitcoins under gun point because they chose to meet trading partners in secluded places.

By this statement, you do actually confirm that you illegally held someone's Bitcoins. I don't matter if OP is able to prove to be the actual owner of the addresses or not. The mere fact that you did such a despicable act shows why people should never trust changenow.

2551  Economy / Reputation / Re: [indralit] promoting Betking on: September 03, 2021, 09:48:53 PM
I thought the Betking signature campaign failed miserably and was ended some weeks ago, or am I missing something?
What could be motivating indralit to wake up and start advertising scam on his signature? Hacked/bought account by betking management?

Anyway, the account cannot be trusted, and  they deserve a tag for promoting scam.

Well, it looks like your prayer has been answered. I tried checking the site today, and it's back online with a cool redesign. The exchanges are now ranked according to the Kycnot.meScore (KS) with bisq leading the pack with a maximum score of 10

2553  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can't withdraw money from LocalCryptos on: September 03, 2021, 08:33:02 PM
I don't think this is the cause of the problem because he gets the white screen even before clicking on the Trasfer button.

You could be right.

Probably his browser or internet connective has a problem. I just made another transfer of Litecoin today to Binance with no single Hiccup

2554  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can't withdraw money from LocalCryptos on: September 02, 2021, 09:58:22 PM
The problem could be related to the small amount of ETH you are trying to send to Binance, maybe the ETH is not even enough to fund the transaction fees. Right now transaction fee i worth 0.001827 ETH ($6.99558)

Otherwise, I used the exchange today and I didn't face any problem.
2555  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bithub.im, BestChange (Removal of reviews and disclaimer of financial obligati). on: September 02, 2021, 09:34:33 PM
Looks like some angry users who got his money back and forgot to write about it.
I doubt if he was one of the affected users. I am not saying that one shouldn't complain when something unlikely comes up about a certain service, but the particular profile (airfinex) was created to either get someone banned or cause some drama if you look at the post history. Afterwards, he just goes offline until he gets something new to howl about.

Here are some of the topics he has opened up
- Merit Source - Plagiarist
- Who controls Bestchange's account?
- Is Theymos really a lauda?
- Why does Foxpup only send negative feedback?
- MoparMiningLLC Escrow in account sales?
- Moderator Xal0lex - Informal Plagiarist

2556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fees? on: September 02, 2021, 08:59:00 PM
1. Binance charges different trading fees for spot and margin trading depending on your tier. You might wanna check the fee structure - https://www.binance.com/en/fee/schedule
2. What type of order did you use to close your position?
Check your order history and look at the price you used to close your position because it matters a lot.
2557  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is www.iexwls.com scam?? on: September 02, 2021, 08:36:21 PM
Thanks for the help guys.
I got one more question about the withdraw the application ask for the identification ID etc.
If they are scam they will use our ID for bad purposes??
Thanks again.
They are going to trick you to send your IDs, but I doubt if they will send you back your money. Your ID details might mostly be used for other scams.

I am curious how did you find this exchange and from where? Many more reputed exchanges are well known, trusted, and with high volume. But why had you decided to deposit $600 there? Seems this is your first post and you joined at this forum on August 31, 2021, 07:39:09 PM. On the same day you made post-August 31, 2021, 08:17:32 PM, so your post and register time gap is 38 minutes. It's quite surprising that you made the post in the correct section by discovering the scam accusation board.

Isn't it an attempt to promote an exchange with the question mark? I am not saying you are laying, but often scammer promotes their site this way. It's not new anything. If it's possible then you may provide a few more info if you don't have a privacy issue. For example transaction link, a screenshot of the address from the platform, balance, and what error showing during withdrawal.
From the way OP is asking questions, it looks like he might be a victim of the scam. More like those Telegram or discord scams where a stranger asks you to invest through a site and then when time to withdraw comes, they ask you to deposit more BTC to verify or send KYC but they usually never send you back the money
2558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 31, 2021, 09:59:24 PM
PSG is just very rich club and doesn't care. Putting a star in their shirts is the ultimate goal of the owner and he is ready to sacrifice Mbappe for free for that. PSG tried its best directly and indirectly via his father and friends to convince Mbappe to renew the contract but everything seems to fail. We will see if there is something that will happen in the last few hours.
Well they do care, because if they don't FFP will make them think again.

The president himself said that they needed more money from Mbappe sale. If they didn't want to sell him, they would have just said that he's not up for sale.

There are rumors that they tried again to offer Mbappe a staggering 45M Euros a year, but he has rejected it once more. I am not sure of the sources, but I will confirm.
2559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 31, 2021, 09:49:42 PM
David Luiz is now without a club? He's quitting Arsenal FC and no one has taken him? Something's not right. In his career there were €120 million in transfer fees, more than any other central defender in the world. At the age of 34, the Brazilian is available on a free transfer. His expiring contract with Arsenal FC will not be extended and that was already certain in May this year. There are still 2 years possible to play at a good level.
What serious club would you want to take him up?  Grin

He's not been good since he left Chelsea. In fact, Arsenal being the average club it has been in the last few years didn't shock me when they signed him.

Is a good move for Barca, Griezmann has a huge salary around 35m€ yearly with taxes if I can recall correctly.
Bad deal for Barça in general.
They weren't supposed to buy him in the first place. He's probably one of the players that took a huge hit on their revenue
2560  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam report: [banned mixer] on: August 30, 2021, 09:56:16 PM
Looks like OP is just a troll with no actual scam accusation except showing us his ignorance about the purpose of Guarantee. I suggest he reads more about the letter of guarantee and how it works.
I wonder how he thinks of exchanging his Bitcoins for monero and then back using a centralized exchange (they are the ones that have the volumes as opposed to non KYC p2ps) and think that he will remain anonymous  Grin
