2541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Commentary and commentators in sports. on: May 13, 2022, 07:26:01 PM
Can you enjoy your sports viewing experience without commentary and  commentators?

Some commentators are great at sarcasm and bringing life to sporting events. Sometimes their work necessitates investigation, and I'm amazed by how they know the identities and histories of the players. If your team is fortunate enough to be leading with goals, the way they make fun of their opponents is hilarious to listen to. One thing I like about commentators is that when a channel broadcasts a sporting event, any language person may be a commentator from that side without a language barrier. It's fun when everyone can hear what's going on in their own language.
2542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 13, 2022, 07:12:28 PM
I really agree with your sentence "stop betting on the Premier League" because in this league all teams are very competitive in playing every game, for example Arsenal's defeat to Tottenham yesterday which gave a great opportunity for Tottenham to take fourth place in the standings from Arsenal.
Do you think Arsenal will be able to maintain fourth position in the standings?

I think that depends on the team you are predicting, it is not all premier league matches that are bad in outcomes. I have bet with arsenal many times and I can confidently say that they aren't reliable for betting. They will rekt your ticket and the chances of making it with the remaining matches if you are betting many matches in a single slip. It is better you don't rely on teams that you are not sure about their outcomes, Manchester United and Arsenal were the only teams that ended most of my tickets.
2543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another signal why to avoid CEX.... on: May 13, 2022, 12:53:55 PM
Cexes are just a whole drama, they give you new series of episodes with different suspense. I don't understand Why anyone will want to buy coin on an exchange and willingly left them off guard on centralized exchange, this is not the first time such threats comes from centralized exchanges but the advices here are not working for them, until these guys keep holding them off from their life savings and later cry out on those who can't help them.
One of the 1001 ways of loosing your coins is keeping them on an centralized exchange, you don't know when they will come and say your accounts has been flagged, everyone should take caution when they say something bad may likely happen.
2544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 13, 2022, 01:04:25 AM
I think it is a too easy win for Tottenham because they played against 10 Arsenal players only. You are right, the red card is too early, Arsenal lost their balance since the minute 33' because of Rob Holding's mistake. Since Arsenal played with 10 players, I didn't feel the match was interesting anymore. We know Tottenham deserves to win, they often defeated big teams, but it shouldn't be in this way. Sure, cannot blame the referee, just disappointed with the way of the match. However, Tottenham gt 3 points and they are trying to challenge Arsenal for UCL zone.

I lost interest in the match the moment they gave red card to holding, I knew it was going to be a difficult match for them. When a team make a small mistakes sometimes, they becomes domino effects and that is what exactly happen to Arsenal. It was a difficult match and they still made mistake of having red card which became a big disadvantage for them.
The did has been done, what next is for them to win the remaining matches hopefully, else Arsenal may not be going for Champions League, may be Europa League may be possible but who knows, Arsenal is good at doing what people don't expect.
2545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 12, 2022, 07:16:51 PM
Tottenham have just got ahead 1-0 by Harry Kane's penalty goal. The match between them and Arsenal started quite balanced actually but it is 1-0 now. I'm curious about how Arsenal will be answering this. This is a very important match for both of these teams so Arsenal must be able to get one point at worst here. It'd be enough for them to keep the four-point difference with Tottenham in the standings.

I'm so upset with the Referee, why didn't he look into VAR. I couldn't see where Arsenal flopped in defending the ball and if you replay it, it even looks like Devies did a foul but wasn't look at.
It is not over until it when Referee blow the final whisle, I elieve in Arsenal that they will do better to equalize this before the second half and by the time they come the remaining half time, it will be offensive match for Tottenham.
2546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New in Wallets. Recover a wallet on: May 12, 2022, 06:56:51 PM
Can I ask you a question? what is the essence of these many wallets you installed, security-wise is not safe for your bitcoins, you are just still on the Testnet and it is all confusing. If your intention was to get bitcoin out of an exchange, a single wallet on your PC is okay, with that you can generate as many as many wallet addresses you want but a hardware wallet should be your plug.

Now, back to your wallets, it is possible there is a mixed up in your passphrase, you should know that there is no passphrase that is wrong. There is a difference between Helloworld and helloworld, you will get two different wallet results with that two passphrases. If you are sure that the faucet transaction you did on the testnet was successful, try and view the wallet address on the testnet explorer if the bitcoin you sent is there, then from there you can check where there is mixed up in your recovery + passphrase
2547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 12, 2022, 06:30:13 PM
Juventus really demonstrated well in the first half that made many people to concluded that the final will end up for their favour because of the way they started the match. They where leading the game in the first half before inter coach went to introduced more new strategies in the second half that made them to achieved victory at the end of the match. Juventus coach need to prepare the team how to remain stronger both first half and second half so that what happened in this season will not happen to them in next season.

It's not like their position is a ticking time bomb, they're doing OK, their previous performance was outstanding as out 8, and they only lost two games. What they need to do now is win their final two matches. They don't need to be that concerned since Lazio, the closest team to Juventus will be unable to catch them if they win their remaining matches. If you do the arithmetic, Juventus is 7 points ahead of Lazio, but winning their two difficult matches will only give them 6 points. So, we can say that Juventus is going to the champions League.
2548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 12, 2022, 05:52:26 PM
In few minutes time, Tottenham vs Arsenal will kick off, I'm ready to watch how the match will go. I'm not an Arsenal fan, but I really want to see them qualify for the Champions League next season, and based on their recent performances, I have a feeling they won't let me down. If they can beat Chelsea, Manchester United, and West Ham, then Tottenham is just a minor to bench for the UCL next season. I believe that if Arsenal wins today's match, they will have a good chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
2549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto trading has caused more depression in 2021/2022 on: May 12, 2022, 08:14:05 AM
This is not true the way you put it. This was the tweet that came out earlier about some Luna holders who committed suicide due to the losses they encountered in Luna saga. This is more like investment gone wrong than trading as you claimed.

If you are good trader, there should be a good management risk in your trades, there are dozen packs of traders that are enjoying shorting the markets and have made huge amount of money from it, just because markets is dumping doesn't mean traders are not making money, only the holders do feel the pain especially the Altcoins holders, bitcoin is always fine as it always goes up.
2550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 12, 2022, 01:08:34 AM
Atletico Madrid have just started to play their game against Elche. It is important for Atletico Madrid to defeat their opponent because they wouldn't like to give another opportunity to Betis to catch up with them. They had a six-point gap normally but it is three now after Betis defeated Valencia. Atletico Madrid can do this as long as they play decently. Elche are not a too difficult opponent for them.

Elche wasn't that tough to Atletico Madrid and they were able to slide 2 goals to them and have given another 3 additional points gap to Betis, but they are not that far away from Sevilla, it is just a 1 point difference. It will take Sevilla a little work out to Win Mollarco that is relegation zone and come bak to the third place they are, infact that's the spot they have been maintaining since the start of the league, i don't expect them to give up at the end of the league.
2551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler turns 60 pence bet into £157,865.59 on: May 12, 2022, 12:54:27 AM
I will just have to say waow to this won ticket, only a legend can do this in over a night, but by the way, the story is incomplete. I have a seen a similar ticket played and won but the odd and the wage money was up to this amount and the guy did excellently and was able to cashout fine without any problem by the sportsbook but the problem issue is the player won't discuss with you unless that they have been here for long and they wouldn't tell you the histories of their losses, check the amounts of money they lost in tickets, they are always enormous and can accounts up to half what they win in real life though in this case, the story is different as the player bet with a penny.
2552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 11, 2022, 09:25:40 PM
Everton are such an unstable team that they can't even have a comfortable game against a team like Watford. Everton have a big opportunity to increase their chance not to relegate and Watford are already out of the league by next season. But Everton can't even win an easy game like this. They are trying but they are still too bad at finishing. It looks like it is going to end in a 0-0 draw. But they'd better be thankful for Chelsea as they beat Leeds.

This month has not really been in their favour, the beginning of April has been a difficult task for them, they only manage to win 2 matches out of 7 games they play till today, can't believe they had 13 corners in today's match and none were useful at all.
You are so sure about Watford remaining in the relegation zone, don't you think they will want to drag down Chelsea and Leicester City, especially when they know that Chelsea is struggling to maintain the third spot.

Thanks man! At first, I thought it was Bpip extension on Chrome but it's not possible to use on mobile devices that's why I opened the thread to confirm it. I preferred using it this way as I don't usually attend to PMS, it will help me quickly attend to them anytime I skipped mail notifications.

It probably hurt you more because you wrote on that topic  Cheesy

You felt my pain, it is very annoying.  Grin

Thanks everyone for responses, the thread is now closed.

My mobile data was left on and I received a notification on my email that ltcgambler self moderate one of the thread he started on gambling discussing and deleted every replied post, it is now deleted, I try to go through the [Achive] thread, it was a nice discussion thread until he changed the subject to daily odd and prediction, later deleted the whole thread.

Why did you do that ltcgambler?

To do the main question, I open the notification email on my phone but while accessing Bitcointalk pm, I saw something new for the first time on my chrome browser.

Have you noticed this notification on your browser? Did I enabled any settings that I'm not aware?

I have gone through the other thread and this one and I get offended by some people who are against the Naija official board because they feel we don't have another official language except the English we were forced to speak but you guys don't live here in Nigeria. Here, hardly you find somebody who can read and write who doesn't understand what pidgin is all about, this is what we use to communicate with locals, traders, and local marketers who cannot flow with English and they all understand it regardless of how you put it, they always understand the pidgin.

The fact that one of the world's leading news organizations, BBC[1], gave us an Official Naija pidgin website to read through popular posts and what's going on in Nigeria demonstrates the importance of the pidgin language.

2557  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CZ promoting Binance cunningly for Middle East on: May 10, 2022, 05:07:35 PM
There is nothing bad in the video, just a marketing strategy making people believe that if CZ mum can call him a stupid kid and was able able to make it, they can do it too. I know that NAS guy and he has interviewed a couple of billionaires, some wealthy people who made the impossible become possible, some billionaires who were born and raise in trenches but now living large with huge steps in investments.
CZ was able to create a platform to unite people, collect their Identifications and Documents, and collect withdrawal fees. Today, he is among the crypto richest but since you and I don't want to get involved in centralization, buy and hold your Bitcoin on your wallet like satoshi advice.
Don't be like CZ.  Wink
2558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Use P2P methods to sell your crypto in local currency. on: May 10, 2022, 04:52:46 PM
As your topic said, P2P, meaning it is pair-to-pair trading which means most of the time, but in this case, you may not trust the buyer, a middle person is always needed and it has to be a trusted person to avoid scam attempts by any of the traders. Most of the trades that happen here require an escrow (middle man) to ease transactions and sometimes, people do trust the other traders due to the reputation they built here but the bounty hunters are always clear of cheating, you hardly see them use an escrow or trade here on bitcointalk and you expect people to believe you.

I have seen cases where BNB between two accounts transactions are ignored but there is one dubious thing you see happening between two or sometimes up to 10 accounts( often operated by one person) sweep tokens from all the addresses into a single address and then send them to an exchange, these are most likely farming accounts that are robbing companies and making other participants earn less.

If not that they are always lying, we would have seen cases of the buyers running from with their tokens but you hardly see them complaining about that and these transactions are always input transactions without an output. If you feel you sold a token to a buyer, you should receive something in exchange for that like BNB, ETH and so on but no, it is always the buyer that always received tokens from different users.
2559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bukele's Bitcoin City view. on: May 10, 2022, 09:53:28 AM

The airport my drew my attention and all I could say is this is a mega project and it will take a lot of years to come to reality but I didn't see anything about FUNDING. I'm not an architect but I'm not sure if the market cap of Bitcoin alone can complete this project at the current price. From the tweet, there are more visual images that will require big budgets.
Another question, is the city decentralized in a such a way that any citizen from any part of the world will want to move there? I hope Mr governments and the UN elites wouldn't intrude when this project is complete.
2560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 10, 2022, 08:15:55 AM

I really don't know who is going to win the next match between Hertha and Stuttgart. Both teams have been really inconsistent this season but if we just look at the stats I think you will find that Hertha has certainly been a little better compared to Stuttgart. So I am not sure and it is really hard to predict anything.

The painful thing about the two team is that they haven't been playing any important league since January, it has been all about Bundesliga but sadly that they couldn't make it to even ordinary Europa League.
Dortmund will surely finish Heartha with cool goals, but I'm not sure if that will demote them to relegation zone where Stuttgart is already since they are already having 3 points ahead and if Stuttgart manage to win cologne, they will still be having the same points but Heartha will be ahead of them on the table due to their goal difference.

Quote
RB Leipzig should win their next match really easily because it is against a team that is in the relegation zone and will be relegated this season.

Don't think about it, didn't you see what Brighton did to Manchester united? Because a team isn't in the top four shouldn't be taken for granted.
