Hey Nak, what happened to that 1000 bitcoin from the lets-dice wallet?
2542  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hi, guys, I (NAKOWA) was beaten. Lost 5k BTC in two days(Still UP). on: September 27, 2013, 05:12:40 AM
Nakowa uses investor money from letsdice.com to play at just-dice.com

Nakowa is a fraud.   I hope he never plays at just-dice.com again.

http://blockchain.info/address/1LDipoYVWA7UsFzWrrcXUGLnsXWuYaJB9f

Well it seems he has taken 1,000 bitcoin from lets-dice.

2543  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 17% of Bitcoins wagered through Just-Dice in 2 Months. Is this good or bad? on: September 27, 2013, 05:10:11 AM
It the cold wallet = investment + balances not invested.  There probably another 1000 BTC between the online wallet and hot wallet

The thing is, look at those outputs, all those coins that have left that address probably have came back again thus inflating the amount of unique coins.

We can safely assume that between 100,000 and 200,000 unique coins have been wagered/involved with Just-Dice thus around 1% of all Bitcoins in existence.

Also in a few months the amount wagered will be more than 12,000,000 bitcoins. Smiley

EDIT 2: however mechs, this is an interesting discussion about bitcoins current main uses. Which are gambling and drugs at the moment. We do need the legitimate uses to eventually out pace the other stuff for people to take bitcoin seriously.
2545  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 17% of Bitcoins wagered through Just-Dice in 2 Months. Is this good or bad? on: September 27, 2013, 05:00:36 AM
Unique coins wagered is far far smaller than the wagered amount shown. I had a few accounts at one point wagered almost 5,000 bitcoin and I have nowhere near that amount.

I would estimate that 95% of the total wagered is reused coins.

Perhaps 100,000 unique coins have gone through the site, and that is an extremely optimistic estimate.
Atleast 170,000 have gone through the site judging by the transactions through the cold wallet
http://blockchain.info/address/14o7zMMUJkG6De24r3JkJ6USgChq7iWF86

Is that the investment address?

Anyway you can still bodge those numbers on blockchain. I have an address somewhere with over 10,000 bitcoin received. Again I have no where near that amount. If you withdraw to block chain and deposit back to Just-Dice again then it will add total received to that number.

So I am probably quite close considering the total amount must be lower than the amount reported on that address.

EDIT: also look at one of S.Dice addresses http://blockchain.info/address/1dice8EMZmqKvrGE4Qc9bUFf9PX3xaYDp I doubt a million unique bitcoins have run throught that one.

To determine actual unique amount of coins wagered you would have to do full taint analysis on every transaction. And even then that can never be 100% accurate.

I tried to dump but I get "Trading is currently frozen on this security." I'm sooooo fucked.

OH NO EVERYONE SELL BEFORE THE LOCK GETS TO THEIR ACCOUNT!!!!!

But if that happens how will we get Cheap SharesTM?

QUICK BEFORE YOU ARE LOCKED FOREVER AND IT'S WORTHLESS!!

CAPS LOCK, RED COLOR, BIG SIZE, this thing is serious!

Beware the approaching lock! Its eating accounts one by one! Sell before its too late!
2548  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 26, 2013, 06:44:50 PM
400GH of Avalons!!!

If they were using Avalons they wouldn't have fallen below 800GH/s.

They have fallen below 800 they are at 400, join the fud and buy some cheap shares.

Which indicates an unstable hashrate that points towards their own miners. This is a good thing because we can scale our own miners. We can't scale Avalons.
2549  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 26, 2013, 06:43:17 PM
I just dumped 20,000 shares, this thing is going to 0, we need the FUD army in here to take this to .00001 thats where it will be before the closing of the exchange.

Ow, right after that the share price is rocketing upwards. We will pass IPO in a matter of minutes. Confidence has been restored.

Panic has begun!

...

wow

isn't the blockchain address still getting btc's added to it every hour?

Yeah, but it represents a 400GH/s amount from someones analysis earlier, It suspiciously fell after dividend day.

We need at the most worst case minimum 1TH/s.
2552  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 26, 2013, 06:37:31 PM
So is labcoin actually looking like its going to fail or will the value go back up? I'm wondering if I should dump my shares now that they've lost 60% of their value.

Two uncertainties: Does the hashrate go above 1TH/s at least, and can they get onto Bitfunder or Havelock?

Because no hash over 1TH/s and direct shares then this stock is worth nothing at all.

They need to talk to us, the hash rate needs fixing and we need an exchange ASAP.

On one hand I think cheap shares, on the other hand I'm a big enough bagholder already...

Not sure if serious...

UPDATE
Hashing rate will be visible again on the pool in about one hour, we are having again stability issue, working on that.
Regarding the share transfer, we are still waiting for a final reply from Bitfunder.
Again,we remind everyone that we will bring online about 20 TH within October.

This is not a sufficient response to our concerns.

The operators of the exchanges are watching you.

You must respond fully.

Labcoin is the reason BTCT is shutting down and Burnside is in a heap of trouble.

LAGcoin is about to have some serious legal problems, which will create a nightmare for any exchange foolish enough to list them.

If Ukyo lists this scam on Bitfunder I must seriously consider selling most or all of my holdings there.

LAGcoin has no business making the legitimate businesses look guilty by association.

I think Labcoin should be listed on https://796.com/ to see how it goes. If Labcoin proves themselves then a listing on Bitfunder at a later date would be satisfactory.

But I agree Ice, listing on Bitfunder this soon will call to question the integrity of all assets on Bitfunder.

I still hold Labcoin and want those 20TH/s but things are looking really bad and I would rather hedge myself with my other holdings on Bitfunder. If Labcoin moves to Bitfunder and they close up, my hedge doesn't work.
2556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Invest in 1% House Edge Dice Game on: September 26, 2013, 05:49:37 PM
The investors that whine really annoy me.

All these people came, diluting our investment and expected an constant risk free return. Very annoying. I expected swings like this where I could lose 20% in a day. I have made a lot of money off of Just Dice as an investor.

However this investment got worse and worse returns because of all these people who had NO idea what they were getting themselves into.

I have revised my thoughts on the matter.

Max bet should be 0.5% or 1% no lower, and investors can leave their coins with dooglus, any investors too scared of dooglus they can invest elsewhere and let us risk takers play this game.

To be clear: Why should we nanny and cater to those who want secure, safe, happy, comfortable high returns? Why?

Let the scared little hands leave. Please.

Well this puts an end to all the bragging about MPEx being the only Bitcoin service never to suffer a security breach.

Wow, I have been at uni a lot recently and not been keeping track. What is going on? How did Labcoin drop below IPO and sustain that drop?

Crumbs, why would the stock be appreciating at this time? We can only fully tell where we stand once the chips arrive. Then we can tell if this company will be a dud.

You know most of the decline in ActM is because no investors here can focus for more than 20 minutes and want immediate results. You may be right, ActM could stink, but at this point we can't really tell. If we get hundreds of TH/s in November that might be enough, it might not.

No, at this point we can't really tell, but as the ActivMining story unfolds, more and more ugly factors come into the light.
In the best-case scenario, if the chips do materialize, and meet design specs, and this happens on schedule, the overall profitability of ActM is still uncertain.
Among a slew of problems, Ken's unwillingness or inability to function as a real corporation, assigning tasks & delegating authority to others -- is a huge one.

You are right about that. Thanks for a reasoned reply Crumbs Smiley
