2561  Economy / Marketplace / Re: The one and only non-KYC platform!! on: October 31, 2021, 09:22:19 AM
yet you have a partnership with ChangeNow and AML "compliant" Guarda wallet. ChangeNOW is known to block funds and demand for KYC

This, however, doesn't mean that we are one service Smiley
I know that you are not one service, but I would like you to look at it from a customer's or newbie's perspective. When you say you don't require KYC, yet your partners can ask for it anytime they want. You may end up trapping people who use your platform thinking there's completely no requirement for KYC when using your platform.

Worst-case scenario, what do you do if a client uses your platform, and he knows that you totally don't require KYC but then ChangeNow blocks the funds demanding for KYC before releasing the funds?
2562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 30, 2021, 08:29:47 PM
Great win for MU today but i am not completely convinced that this side can win the EPL this season even though they grabbed all 3 points today. The Tottenham side this season has been on very bad form and not playing like the team we use to know with a very unmotivated Harry kane who is looking like he no longer wants to be at the club. I will be waiting to see results from MU next fixtures against Atalanta and Manchester city. If it's a win, i probably may rethink and maybe change my mind on my support for the sack of the MU coach Ole.
It's going to be a bumpy ride for United. Today you will see beautiful results, tomorrow, the performance will make you want to quit supporting them whether Ole is sacked or not. Don't expect United to have so very long run of unbeaten matches or form.

As for Spurs, something wrong is going on with those lads. Last season, the Son-Kane partnership was so lethal, but looking at today's match. They totally looked clueless in front of goal
2563  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Liquid nitrogen cooling system on: October 30, 2021, 04:19:05 PM
That would add extra costs, yet there are cheap methods.

Yep storage equipment is going to be expensive and maintenance too. You will also need a constant supply of the liquid nitrogen from manufacturing plants, or do you plan to manufacture it yourself?

In the long run, it's just super expensive and unsustainable, especially when the mining profits drop in the bear market.

As I said, I have mailed them three times,  the reply once or twice asking me for details and thanking for the report but they are yet to solve it.

I may try once again if they have an official Telegram, tho....

I think you should explain to them what happened to your Country's fiat currency, as you did above. The explanation to the source of the problem is plausible. There is no reason they should not rectify it.

2565  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer @colires on: October 30, 2021, 02:37:04 PM
It's about time you learned to read reviews and check out the feedback of the person you are about to deal with. Even a mere Google searching his Telegram handle would definitely give you clues that the guy is a scammer.

He has all warnings and a flag on his profile, but I don't know why you people are so careless with your money. It's quite sad  Sad
2566  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another HITBTC scam report - 2021 on: October 30, 2021, 05:58:24 AM
Same script over and over again for anyone who gets his funds blocked in HitBTC ends up undergoing a loop of KYC requirements and verifications until they just give up and leave their money there.

HitBTC is a very fraudulent exchange that has stolen lots of money from customers in the name of KYC and I don't know how they are still operating
2567  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Coingecko] Webpage not displaying prices correctly on: October 30, 2021, 05:26:53 AM
A little confusing as many sources show different price variations. And It seems some sites are confusing VEF and VES. I am also not sure which one is which, but here are the alternatives

1. https://coinmarketcap.com/converter shows 1 Bitcoin (BTC) = 265,972 Sovereign Bolivar (VES)
2. https://www.currexy.com/cryptocurrency/converter (shows 1 Bitcoin (BTC) = 245,946.17 Venezuelan Bolívar (VEF)??
3. https://www.coindesk.com/calculator shows 1 Bitcoin (BTC) = 265,979.75 Venezuelan Bolívar (VES)??
2568  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question about withdrawing crypto. on: October 30, 2021, 04:43:48 AM
In the past, I've made a mistake create a transactions with very low fees on ETH network. But after 10-14 days my coins came back to my wallet, but I lost the transaction fee. So it applies on ETH network too.
What I meant is that how transaction are dropped from the Ethereum's transaction pool is a little different from that of Bitcoin's. While you can be sure that Bitcoin's default is approximately 2 weeks for the transaction to get dropped, the same can not be said about Ethereum's, which mostly depends on how busy the network is and how much gwei one paid.

Checkout this transaction. It was first broadcast on October 3rd (~26 days ago) and it's still pending - https://etherscan.io/tx/0x8eaaffe71d32d6f51b61f6419e7c615d1e7bc7d14dd4e883cb2e591f748fcb71

You could have easily use USDT on tron to avoid the huge fee. USDT are available in few chain and if I'm correct, USDT on tron is the cheapest one.
Coinbase doesn't support Tron or USDT TRC20
2569  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance issues on: October 29, 2021, 04:49:48 AM
I just recently tried to get onto my Binance account and it is saying that it no longer works in usa. How can I retrieve my money that I have in this account. any help would be great. Am I screwed
You are not screwed. I have come across a couple of such issues where the customers had their accounts locked because they were from the US but when they got in touch with support, they were given an option to withdraw the money to an external wallet or another platform.

You still have a chance to get your funds.
2570  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question about withdrawing crypto. on: October 29, 2021, 03:59:32 AM
I suppose you tried to send USDT ERC20 token from Kucoin to trustwallet and then to coinbase which was a very wrong choice because you are going to pay double fees which are insanely high.

What you should do next time is to transfer directly from Kucoin to Coinbase, and please use a network that requires low fees.

For example; This is the only fee you will have to pay to withdraw from Kucoin and deposit directly to your coinbase addresses and then you convert the coins back to your preferred coin, USDT

1. Avalanche (AVAX) - 0.01 AVAX (~0.65 USD) in fees
2. EOS - 0.1 EOS (~0.45 USD) in fees
3. XRP - 0.2 XRP (~0.2 USD) in fees
4. XLM - 0.02 XLM (~0.007 USD) in fees
5. LTC - 0.001 LTC (~0.19 USD) in fees

However, if it doesn't go through, then all depends on the seriousness of Trustwallet. I don't know them but they seem to be a centralized wallet provider. So in my opinion, if until Monday your transaction is still stuck, you should contact their support and they may try to revert the transaction. This can be done, but it may require manual action from them and so it's possible they charge a fee.
It's a noncustodial wallet, so support won't help

Your coins wouldn't lost, if there's no miner confirm or validating your transactions your coins will came back to your own wallet usually around 2 weeks.
This applies to Bitcoin network, I don't think it applies to Ethereum network too

- fixed 8% APY
If I read your terms and conditions right, there is a contradiction
Quote
8. CoinRabbit reserves its right to change APY upon its sole and absolute discretion as for all active Deposits and all new ones.
It isn't fixed after all, is it?

- no KYC procedures
--------
- close partnership and integration with such big names in crypto community as ChangeNOW and Guarda Wallet.
How do you convince me that there will be no KYC, yet you have a partnership with ChangeNow and AML "compliant" Guarda wallet. ChangeNOW is known to block funds and demand for KYC
2572  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Does anyone use cryptocurrencies to buy assets and services? on: October 28, 2021, 07:43:55 PM
I would like to know if anyone here uses cryptocurrencies to buy assets and services, I would also like to know if most companies accept crypto you would buy and why not buy such a service.Would they buy food in crypto?
I certainly would buy food or just about anything if there were so many merchants in my local area accepting crypto payments. Right now I most use crypto to make online purchases, subscriptions and refills plus.

Most people in the communities still don't know the advantages of crypto and when you talk to them about Bitcoin, the first thing that they will think is that it's scam. So there's still some negative attitude towards cryptocurrencies in general.
2573  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN]-BOLOLEX EXCHANGE - OFFICIAL on: October 28, 2021, 07:23:29 PM
-snip-
If you want to create more awareness. I think the best thing to do is to create a scam accusation in the scam accusations board. The exchange is not even popular. I wouldn't even trust projects that get listed in such exchanges.

Someone complained about then at the beginning of the year - NEW SCAM EXCHANGE *ALERT* *SCAM* BOLOLEX.COM *ALERT* *SCAM* WITH PROOF

Some complaints from Trustpilot - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/bololex.com

2574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with leverage on: October 27, 2021, 09:10:58 PM
. First of course is the bigger market exposure. It seems like the right time to cash in on the crypto market, and for many beginners with limited capital, leverage seems to be the only option.
Nope, it's the very last option for beginners, or else they will even lose all the Limited capital they have in an instant because they don't know how the market works or the trading basics.

Quote
. Lesser risk when you set tight stops and trade smaller amounts. You don’t risk all of your capital and as you gain experience, learn how to navigate the leveraged trading market.
With the very volatile crypto market, tight stop losses will definitely lead to a very low win rate. Not recommended.

2575  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: evominers.com REVIEW - FRAUD ALERT !!!! on: October 26, 2021, 09:14:12 PM

Hi guys,

Have you seen evominers.com soon because I just did, but with another domain name.

Those ''friends of mine'' have made another website for stealing - https://bitmain.shopping/ ( I'm 99% sure that it's them)

Probably the sells from evominers.com have gone bad so they decided to make this one. I don't know how evo continue working, but I know that the new one won't be available soon, because of copyright infringement.

Do not order from evominers.com or bitmain.shopping
The domain name says it all. They are using Bitmain to trick users into believing that they are associated with Bitmain, yet they are just scammers. The cheap .shopping extension confirms it.

The domain is also just 6 month old

2576  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ■■ Tviton.net - instant exchanger SCAMMED me ■■ on: October 25, 2021, 09:59:22 PM
Tbh. Their alibi is hard to buy. They just need to look into their logs and cross check with what info OP has provided. How is it not technically possible?

Tviton: the fault that the customer has lost the funds completely his as
not specifying memo in the cryptocurrency xlm is the same as to send
cryptocurrency to another address

Completely different scenario actually. As long as the coins is sitting in an address they control of (or whatever purse they have), there's a chance to recover it (in this case, manually credit is a more appropriate term) contrary to sent to a wrong address situation where the exchange has absolutely no control nor knows who owns it.
The whole thing is easy to execute. Now they just don't want to return the coins, even when OP provided proof, and have now decided to make excuses. It's just a matter of sending an equivalent number of coins to the complainant's address now that he provided proof, and everyone leaves happy.
2577  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying 10BTC for Malaysian MAYBANK Cash Deposit. on: October 24, 2021, 09:59:19 PM
Looks like OP hasn't given up on his scam attempt.

He's now selling 20K FTM tokens worth $2.77 per token at $1.01 per token - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5367317
2578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 20K FTM for USDT/BTC on: October 24, 2021, 09:54:19 PM
Why sell almost half of its price if it has a large volume in many exchanges?
Because he's looking for someone to scam. Notice how quick he is to redirect people to send him a PM

Current price of FTM = $2.77
OP wants to sell his at $1.01. Unbelievable!

Like the old saying goes, "If the deal is too good to be true, it's probably a scam"
2579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Transferred ADA from binance to crypto.com on: October 24, 2021, 09:44:34 PM
But how the address were compatible, I never used VET chain so don't know how the format will be but it is similar with ADA?

All the exchanges should give prior warning before the withdrawal and deposit page which may save most of the users from this situations.
It also makes me wonder how OP managed to withdraw ADA from Binance using a vechain address, unless if he of course used the stupid Binance smart chain network under ADA withdrawals.

Vechain and Binance smart chain addresses have the same format.

Otherwise, OP is in bad luck with no hope of retrieving those funds.
