2561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Rootstock will be a better solution than ETH? on: January 21, 2017, 09:12:15 AM
Once Rootstock comes live, do you think that it might overcome Ethereum as a smart contracts platform? As we've seen, ETH is very flawed (to many security issues) so maybe Rootstock will be even more secure as it will be running alongside Bitcoin's blockchain.

Still, I'm curious to know whenever smart contract security will be enforced as flaws like The DAO can cause great caos among the ecosystem.

Nevertheless, I would to know your thoughts about the next smart contracts platform, as it may prove itself to be a more secure environment for decentralized apps than ETH or any other alternative.  Smiley

Are you actually posting here pretending that the fact it's an ICO coin is a good thing ?

Security is your big concern ? Do you all learn nothing ? Wonder why i repeat myself NON STOP ?

YOU.
ARE.
ALL.
STUPID.
PERIOD /.

2564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple releases 333 million more Tokens on: January 21, 2017, 03:46:42 AM
I cant believe it was reported by some of the community web sites. I remember last time they did this they were removed from coinmarketcap.com for a long time

Apparently it never happened.

Quote
Was that meant to be a defense of Ripple dumping 333 million XRP on the markets with no warning or explanation as quoted by the guy before you ?

If so.. you FAILED  Cheesy
Ripple, the company, has never dumped XRP on the market. We definitely have had a problem with founders XRP getting sold in large amounts and we've worked extensively to get that locked up, even getting involved in several lawsuits.

It is absolutely fair to criticize how good or bad a job you think we've done in preventing XRP from getting dumped. But it is absolutely baseless and unfair to accuse us (other than Jed himself) of actual dumping.

We don't need XRP sales to fund the company. If XRP will never be worth more than it is now, then XRP doesn't matter, never did matter, and never will matter. If XRP will be worth more in the future than it is now, then why would a well-funded company with lots of XRP want to dump it?

There were actually two cases where there was attempted dumping that you could make a reasonable argument that we had some responsibility for. In both cases, we immediately took that XRP off the market and sought compensation from the parties.

I suggest you contact Gliss who runs CoinMarketCap to inform him of this error you found then.

Feel free to refer him to pictures i posted showing how the market cap increased.

Hmm such a mysterious coin with much explaining needed huh ?  Cheesy

Check this out i seen like 2 yrs ago..
http://wiki.hobonickels.info/index.php?title=Proof_of_Stake

Not too skilled on the topic but i think you mine the first block then send them to your own address then POS those coins to get it started.

It is a bit confusing and i never bothered to really dig into learning it much.
I might be wrong on above Wink
2567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust ICONOMI if ICONOMI depends on ETH? on: January 21, 2017, 03:22:42 AM
ICONOMI is independent of Ethereum and can port their platform to another project like RSk in future. I think if people don't trust the team they won't collect more than $17 million from investors

$17 million ? HOLY FUCK I THINK I AM GOING TO BE SICK  Roll Eyes

And to that other nooby..
It's "Exchange" not.. "exchanger"

I don't trust exchanges data anymore, a lot of people here are proving that volumes are manipulated, and if you manipulate volumes, then all the financial datas you can get about a project/coin is totally inaccurate, thus, all the datas you get from ICN is totally unprovable, i don't point to any exchange, but i know that at least one of them is faking volumes, so it like for grapes, as long as at least 1 is rotten, then you throw the whole bunch.

Agreed and many suspected GOX was faking shit too eh.. i wouldn't doubt it.
In my pure shock of $17 million i missed how stupid the guys core comment was  Shocked

Here is my version of what he said.
Oh there is no need to worry about bank robbers because we can build a new bank and move the money.

Mensa caliber shitcoin defense logic around here  Cheesy

Get lucky or corrupt.
Many are born with money or fall into it by accident.
MOST are scammy assholes who push schemes.
Good guys finish last..

the last sentence is about 99.9% true...coz good guys tend to abide all the laws & regulations implemented on his realm of business.

but for me, the top of the list should be motivation and creativity.
if you have motivation, then there's the fire burning within you that you can innovate to such extent that you never thought of.  Smiley

And guess what ? There are no laws or regulations in Crypto (for the most part)

shop on a dark market ?
Yup we are all waiting for the FIRST ICO COIN to let us do that.

Well actually they said there will be some other ICO coin (see previous comments)

Hire a recovery boat like the ones used by deep-sea Wine Salvage operations.
Then i would go Narco-Sub fishing.. finding one would be worth an estimated quarter billion.
So finding just one of the many scuttled every month would be worth a fortune.
Would be a lot of cocaine worth 200 or 300 million at dirt cheap wholesale prices.
They move billions and billions worth up the Pacific Coast all year round.
Since they make so much money they don't care if they sink the sub and send another one.

You guys should realize BIG players are watching.
Narco crime syndicates connected across the globe would already be balls deep in this crypto shit.
But not even Bitcoin has the liquidity to "launder" the sheer immense amounts of money they need to move.
They used to use HSBC bank.. but when BTC or an ALT has the ability.. look out !

Money is not about some kid in his basement making $50 Bitcoin profits off shitcoin #3,945
Or V. Butters thinking he is hot shit because he made 1 million in ICO profits (chump change)

2573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't there Two Factor Authentication on Wallets? on: January 20, 2017, 01:11:30 PM
there's a lot of potential in holding some of these alt coins for the long term.

The whales feel the force is strong within you, the bagholding force I do feel there should be 2fa on even shitcoin wallets....

Or better yet RPC ports closed by default.
Many a coin over the years has been hacked..
Wallet gets released by dev.. dev claims innocent "error"
Then RPC code is left enabled and on with default password created by dev.
Then..
Mysterious "hacker" simply harvests all the IP's from the block-chain connections.
Then he simply tries connecting to each wallet with the default name / pass.
Bingo.. million stolen.. and dumped.
Dev claims whooopsy i made a boo boo and puts an update out.
Hacker is long gone and never found.

Seen it happen and it's an old "error"

Same with the old POS error.
Launch coin with no ANN etc hand out wallet / miners to friends then "don't notice"
..until long after you harvested super high *accidental* high stake rewards.
THEN.. release an update closing the "bug" so others can not partake in the greedy antics.
I call it the "CENT/Pennies" bug by mass coin cloner Shakezulu.

Yup the guy who made cloning guides around the scene "for fun & profit"
And the guy who put a virus / keylogger / trojan on his official wallet hosted on his own official coin site.
Yup same guy who made the coin CAPS for Mullick..

who was in charge of the wallets at Cryptsy when they got "Hacked"

And you guys wonder why i post FUD ? Really ?
Trust me you have no fuckin' clue how corrupt this shit is you little noobs here.
All those scammy cock-suckers are STILL here shootin' their mouth off and making "coins"

I recall when the guy Magnet who posted "Bitcoin Scrypt" here yet had nothing to do with the launch etc (he said)
(Which had no other ANN here like StartCoin)
Was infected by a wallet posted in a new coin ANN topic here.
He ran back here and told us all he and others had been hit with.. a keylogger / trojan
all his other wallets were cleared out and emptied.

Never mind the FUD your "legit" coins are needing some shill work profiteers..
get on it those bags are heavy !

Guys in jail for all the millions and millions in coins stolen ?

I did think of the Steam platform from Valve inc. though (they use it)
2575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple and bitshares rated the most insecure blockchain software by China CERT on: January 20, 2017, 07:51:14 AM
It's a pity a clearly smart mind is put to waste on such a horrible coin project idea.
Not sure how you as a dev can justify the glaring issues commonly complained about.
Dev guy.. you wonder why people do not like Ripple ?
Did that occur to you when you guys started making it ?

I do bet you love the climate now though.
You know as well as i do when you launched it, it was laughed off the Forum here.
Why ?

Why did Cryptsy refuse to add it for a year as it sat on the add-a-coin voting list ?
..even though it had more paid votes then every other coin on the massive list combined.

I smell an air of deniability.
And i think that you Ripple guys are going for it NOW because you see how corrupt all of crypto is.
You seen the scene change from anti-IPO shitcoin to now ICO's are somehow legit.
And now you Ripple guys are trying slide right in and pull an Ethereum after waiting a couple years.

I guess in a couple more years the bar will be lowered so much MORE that...
LEO Coin will be considered legit and you all will be buying them up eh ?
2576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is MaidSafeCoin actually a thing? on: January 20, 2017, 07:41:03 AM
I care about what is relevant bl234st (the noob)
Like the topic here..
Did you have anything to say about it ?

You seem mighty upset by my "FUD" so may i suggest you smoke the joint ?  Wink
You rail on about my relevance here while simultaneously making this topic all about me.
I find that funny.  Cheesy

You could have kept scrolling down rather than hitting reply so i have to deduce you yourself value my opinion or you know others do.

Maybe start a new topic here titled "Why Spoetnik's Altcoin opinions Suck"

And no i don't care about tech ..when the launch is crooked and rigged.
2577  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are great delicacies in your country? on: January 20, 2017, 07:33:43 AM
You gotta try Beaver Wine one day.. it's delicious.
And it's the tails they use to make the Wine eh.. that is where the good stuff is at i guess.

I have not tried it yet but there is an Energy Drink out now too !

2578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] LEOcoin MLM Ponzi Fraud Investigation on: January 20, 2017, 02:30:22 AM
Agreed.
I also think they already have 1 or more OTHER scams setup too.
I am seeing more MLM style coins popping up.

Their leaders are making the poor lackies do their shilling while the top guys are already making new scams.

What i find funny is no one said a word about the linked services in that shill's video.
Or the guy himself.
He has many videos and they are promoting all kinds of shit.

Funny Amanda gets torn a new asshole here by cryptohunter etc but he has fuck all to say about any NON-DASH bullshit scammers.
Pickin' & choosing your battles huh guys ?

EDIT:

I tried to go get the link to the screencap above from Youtube but i can't find the link *yet.
I posted it before but i don't know where LOL
So i did a Google Image search with "Youtube Leocoin"
https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=Youtube+Leocoin&safe=off&tbm=isch&uss=1&tbs=imgo:1
And i seen one that caught my interest of many..

How ironic. Github shows facts about progress, but Git is also slang for...

1. A completely ignorant, childish person with no manners.
2. A person who feels justified in their callow behaviour.
3. A pubescent kid who thinks it's totally cool to act like a moron on the internet, only because no one can actually reach through the screen and punch their lights out.

Jabbawa, fact checking and research? Dude this is bitcointalk, or Gitalk/Spoetalk. The old days you needed to have a presence here in order to succeed, but those days are long gone. BTC maximalists like Spoetnik, roach and others have agendas. So this place is tainted as fuck!

I once asked this Githead a question about ETH, (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1510075.msg15197625#msg15197625) and he couldn't answer. It exposed him for what he was. A troll. Now why would I TRUST or risk my money based on information presented by a douche who doesn't even know what he's talking about? Ask Spoetnik a technical question about maid. I guarantee you, he won't will be able to answer. And this is coming from the guy who professes that he is the smartest one here. Smartest one in Gitalk is not something to brag about.  Grin

Odd how you showed up using the same made-up insulting terms and railing on about Bitcoin-Maximalists etc ya know it's almost like, you... made another new account here LOL

And uhhmmm who are you going to listen to people ? bl234st (the mouthy noob) with 75 posts here ?

Why i think it might be a guy hiding behind puppet-accounts (defending maidsafe bullshit)
WOW huh guys.. who would have thunk it ?
I know say it ain't so Spoetnik you're all thinking (here at SpoeTalk.org)
I know right.. i am shocked too  Shocked

FACT:
Legendary accounts are worthless.
The best trade advice comes from 1 post noob accounts.

So there ya go.. leet trade advice from your pal ole Spoetnik (don't say i don't do anything for ya guys)

Oh and the Maximalist crap is pure FAIL.
I am more than willing to talk shit about BTC all day long.. all coins are gonna get FUD 100% equally in my books.
I just have a habit of pointing out how YOU people here reading this MADE Bitcoin worth 1 grand each.. not me Wink

I wonder how desperate that noob puppet account guy is for BTC's ?
I get the feeling he wants them pretty bad.. while crying "Bitcoin-Maximalist" all day long.

And i couldn't care less about all the IRRELEVANT tech details of an ICO scam.
Talking about the accountability and transparency and responsibly and RISK has sweet fuck all to do with block times or max coin supply etc.

SO..
As i said many times before here, don't like my comment ?
GO CREATE ANOTHER ACCOUNT ABOUT IT  Cheesy
