Another ATH...
Can't take it anymore, and I'm out of memes too.
Going out for a walk to breathe some fresh air. The atmosphere is so nice & clean after raining, with lots of negative ions...
I know, I can't believe it. I really should be stoned right now...

I put ladders away for my vertigo ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) just finished my pilots licence too ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Congratulations! If we ever go to a Bitcoin gathering let's grab a 172 and go out for a flight....

Block! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) So I start mining for the hell of it and you find a block. You're welcome.

Maybe....
Did some research here. For purposes of keeping things baseline and cool, I'm running all tests at speed 100. That should give a nice 400-500mh per blade with little temp difference. My new unit here works fine; two blades run great at up to 3.5th at speed 350. Room to grow there, but work well.
Test 1: Run with one blade. Works, flashes red, blade 1 is down, error is 18440, Loop 1 failed PG1 failed, ADC1_err. Temps are 32,47,273. Ok, fair enough. One important thing, the plug on the blade side was exceptionally tight. Pull hard and you *will* rip off the socket. I think they glued them, keep this in mind.
Test 2: Run with second blade on controller 2 (stux's controller from second Avalon). Goal is to establish a working MCU if possible. Plugged it into my blade, his cable, his controller, my auc, my Pi. Works fine, with same errors and 400-500gh hashing rate. Ergo his second MCU is good. No need to test third MCU, leave in box.
Test 3: Put his MCU on blade 1 of his Avalon. Fails with both loops down. Ergo that blade is bad, problem is in blade.
It is also to note that the ripped off plug matches the fact that the seller was retarded and probably thought he could pull the good blade and put it in another box. So he ripped off the plug, replacing the plug (bitch on wheels) could get things to work on that blade. Will think about that.
Meantime will take apart blade 1 from unit 1 and see if there are any solder bridges that can be fixed. Leaving unit 2 alone unit stux says he isn't getting his money back evah....

maybe some Turkey gravy will do the trick LOL
Burp. Just got it last night, along with a nice reference A6 that I need to test. Also pulled the microcontroller from the first MCU board that was on the first A6 (labelled "A") the chip was running super hot which indicates shorts. Will try a new chip once I verify location of pin 1.

Possibly. When I quote repairs down to fractions of a litecoin things are odd...

The subconscious part of the brain is something like a thousand times more powerful than the conscious part. The hard part is letting go of the silly notion that we are in control of our own thoughts. Hm. Bit too sleepy of a video for early morning. Here is what I am waking up to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cirhQ8iLdbwJapanese teeny-bop girl death metal band. Oddly enough works. Doki, Doki morning everyone!

Wake up super early for some reason, 8600/81 for BTC/LTC. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F94KmrTK.png&t=663&c=3SdgaY485f6UmA)

Yep, more ignores. That said Bitcoin's holding its own, and those 2 BitcoinTrash coins apparently were redeemed by Shapeshift. Will see if I ever see them, but a minor blip on the radar.
And Litecoin's purring along. Things looks good to fall asleep to.

Consistent with our terms of service, we will suspend and close any accounts engaging in this type of activity and notify the appropriate authorities. That sounds positively ominous. Who are the appropriate authorities in these matters? Mom, of course.....

Bcash news .Approximately 36 hours after the upgrade, a new block has been mined using the old protocol rules. This block 504032 is invalid...
Ah bitcrap. Need to transfer out the last of my bitcrap for bitcoin, any other systems besides shapeshift (who has two of my bitcoin cash things stuck there). Meantime so..... much...... turkey................... Burp.

Morning!
Any day above 8100 is a pretty good day, looks like my latest sell transaction of bitcoin trash is stuck at shapeshift, and bitcointalk is running very slowly. So probably another pump and dump is underway.....

Isn't good enough for the performance figure, if something claims is 30% better then anything else that exists it has to be independently verified, but is good enough that it is not a scam. Guy has no reason to risk his reputation for something like that.
It is a bit tricky: I think I have a pretty ok reputation but I'd have to take the thing apart as well as run it to see if it's a ringer/beta/rigged unit before I could make an honest opinion. With pictures and all that. We'll see what comes out of it, would be nice to see some competition vs. Ant-land.

Trying to run all of them off of a single giant power supply is a bad idea on so many levels.
Why is it a bad idea? When a single miner has a short, the supply will dump 10kw of power into that chip. Result is what is called a plasma fire.

By the way a bit of interesting info on miner problems: I've been working on A6 and 741 type miners and I've noticed something interesting. Failures seem to result in chips that look like this: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F1Zc9v4R.jpg&t=663&c=c5WTcJsEyXzCKA) If you look carefully you will see the solder bridge that formed around the middle of the side of the chip due to solder extrusion. This is caused by defective manufacturing and way too much heat on the chip. These can open up with heat, which may be why R4's and such need heat to get them running sometimes. Never dull in miner-land. I'm not sure if this can be fixed by running miners slower, but it is interesting.

Well if someone wants to send me one for an eval I'd be happy to review it and take it apart. if it's just a S7/S9 that would be easy to spot. Likewise if it's legit. C

looks like the art will arrive to you tomorrow
Sounds good, will be able to work on it over T-Day. Also just bought another A6 to use as a test platform, gotta spend the money for the tools. :-) C
