There has to be some point you stop flying WWII era planes. (Assuming they all don't eventually crap out of the sky first)

I mean, you don't see anyone flying ORIGINAL WWI planes. If I had to think of anything that would NOT be equipment or

pilot error...I'd guess metal stress of some type. Eventually, that alone will ground them all, I'd assume. Seems to be a lot

more crashes of WWII era planes however in the last few years to me anyway.

There are still people flying 1930 vintage Steermans and the like, so it's not age per se. However these things are complicated in a way that GPS loving pilots might overlook a few steps. Kind of like giving a person a car without power steering and brakes.

Which is sad: I really enjoyed flying an AT-6 Texan a few years back, those things are really impressive and fun to buzz the local grass field airports....

What happened?

Power loss on takeoff is all we know so far.

Doesn't make sense. Flying that thing on 3 engines should not have been an issue. *maybe* they forgot to add carburator heat and had iced carbs, but that's such a basic thing I can't believe they would fuck that on takeoff. Besides you normally run full heat on takeoff for just this reason.

Wonder if someone forgot to remove the tail lock. That would be embarrassing but would explain why they couldn't gain much altitude.

By my conservative estimates, I'll be 80 years old when bitcoin hits 10 million dollars per coin. If it happens sooner, like 10 or 20 years sooner ... well ... I'll have another 20 years to enjoy my 1 corn.

By the 6th halving in 2032, 99.22% of all corns have been mined. Miners will fight for what little is left of the block reward for the next hundred years.

Like I said, freeze your body and put "I have the key in my head for 10btc. Revive me and it's yours" on the outside casing.

In 200 years governments will be crash building programs to revive your ass. If not who the hell wants to wake up in a crap-sack world without bitcoin?

oh nooooo

I think we are down to like 8 airworthy B17s now... Cry

Eh that will buff out. What happened?

$350,000 a year salary is not ''enough'' to be part of the middle class in expensive U.S cities.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/this-budget-shows-how-a-350000-salary-barely-qualifies-as-middle-class-2019-09-11?link=sfmw_tw

Ok, this is bullshit. Because I follow the Micawber school of finance, I have tracked income and expenditures for a number of years and have a pretty good idea of the ratios. The above spreadsheet is a straw man and excludes a couple of key items:

1) Biggest is income: If you look at line 3 you see they took the 24k standard deduction alone. Bullshit: If you're making 350k, have a big mortgage, and donate to charity/childcare and are not taking more than the 24k deduction your tax professional should be stoned. Probably is.

Fixing this with more rational numbers yields an estimated tax of 52k instead of 92k, leaving them with another 40k a year in free cash flow.

With just that, you now have a cash flow of net 40k a year or +$3,333 a month. That's a bit more than starvation amounts.

2) Other numbers are somewhat suspect as well. Sorry, but middle class people don't spend 24k for "preschool" (fuck, I pay less than that for college for 2), which adds another 2k a month to the pot. Some other numbers as well are low (utilities and fuel for example, but those are little people things), so once again I think this is a crock budget.

So overall I think this is a crock of crap and a perfect example of how people think their lives are so much worse than they are.

Meantime I'm finding that my customers are getting harassed with import duties at the border. This whole trade war tarriff/fuckage is for the birds.

Highly bearish for Bitcoin I'm afraid.

OT: So much lulz

Gee, investors starting to smell bullshit in these overvaluated startups? Color me shocked.

Yeah, wepork=office rental. Big fucking deal.

I'm supposed to put brakes on my car tomorrow. I will postpone, bought $100 of corn for now. First things first. I'll drive carefully for a while...

Do it yourself. Swapping pads (esp front, which is what wears) is easy as pie.

I never cease to be impressed how leaders of the free world are scared of a 16 year old girl

Scared? More like annoyed by the ugly little noise maker :p
Why? One of the central tenets of Libertarianism is to own your shit. If someone is polluting my air, water, or screwing with my weather they either need to stop or compensate me for the loss.

When the old coal plants were working I had to wash my car every other week because of the dust. Now that they are gone I do not. Who do I send the car washing bills to?

The people who tend to get upset at people like this are usually ones who expect to get something for nothing and don't like being called out. The classic definition of a rotter.

The problem is more the old coins stuck in old adress types (P2PK addresses, so unhashed) that haven't moved (e.g. Satoshi's coins).
I'm not too worried about Quantum Computing. It's pretty simple to build a QC to give you an answer to the problem, but thanks to noise you have no way of knowing if it is a right answer.

Kind of like using a PC with bad memory chips.

In other words, we are not going to get filthy rich by inflated FIAT (if we are not already), others will get filthy poor.

Might not be a win but definitely not a lose.

Yeah, it's a lose. While it's nice to be the one eyed man in the kingdom of the blind you still lose an eye and everyone else is a whole lot duller.

The trick is not to look at life as a zero sum game, but one in which the cooperation of all expand the size of the pie. Those are the only games really worth playing. zero sum ones are just a waste of time.

Will I be the first post on the 25,000th page?

Edit - Evidently not Cheesy

When page parity though BTC?
Maybe, never can tell. It would be nice if Bitcoin rose along with the WO thread.

Meantime it just seems to be sitting there at 10k, blah.

Finally posted Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!

Source: https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1173368423381962752

What a loser. If I recall correctly those nice Saudi people sent over 19 of their best men to help with urban renewal in NYC on 9/11/2001. What amazing friends they are, of course we should help them....

Oi. Hasn't moved Bitcoin worth a damn though, interesting.

"The Federal Reserve should get our interest rates down to ZERO, or less, and we should then start to refinance our debt. INTEREST COST COULD BE BROUGHT WAY DOWN, while at the same time substantially lengthening the term. We have the great currency, power, and balance sheet....."

Money printer in chief up late trying to debase the dollar. Hodlers unaffected.  Cheesy

#1 reason I have gotten out of US equities and holdings:

a) I don't believe in profiting from fraud.
b) The belief one can profit from fraud is the #1 hook confidence men use to take your money.

Glad there is a currency which cannot be debased. For that I am thankful.

So it's not as bad as you think....  Wink

An asset that has a 10% guaranteed loss every year then.....

Nope.

#Gold made sense when transactions were physical interactions, but our digital world demands a form of digital gold. #DropGold

https://dropgold.com/drop-gold/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=2019_q3_MS

Do you have any idea what a pain in the ass it is to get rid of gold?

Just leave it on the curb, I'll come by for pickup after work.
Sure. Just send me the spot value in bitcoin and I will do. Not a problem at all, PM me for the bitcoin address.

Hell, pay for shipping and I'll chuck it in a box for you.
