Can anyone point me in the direction of the rules regarding buying the blocknet tokens with a currency like XC. I'm thinking what's the deal with purchasing them if you can purchase them with multiple currencies?
Thanks for any help
Where can I buy Blocknet or is it just buying the coins that are part of Blocknet? As I have some of them already
When ITO starts there will be sell walls of BlockNet tokens on Bittrex , Poloniex , Bter - pairs BTC/BLOCK You will be able to buy also BlockNet tokens on coingateway.net with participating currencies at a 10% discount , there will be custom page created for it You have to figure out the best way for you, we will see also what the prices of participating currencies are when ITO starts After ITO, BlockNet shares will be still tradeable on mentioned exchanges , BLOCK/BTC pairs will stay there Are we able to sell the tokens for BTC after the sale is over?
Yup. At Bittrex, Poloniex, Bter, and Coingateway. The BTC:BLOCK pairing will continue until tokens are redeemable for NHZ assets (when fee payouts begin). How we will know when the ITO starts? is there not way we can register to let us know when all this is happening, like email newslater? The BlockNet`s ITO will begin on 29 October 2014 and will last probably a week, depends also on how fast shares are being bought, more details will follow soon There is a lot of useful info too in the BlockNet OP https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829576.msg9269803#msg9269803 and BlockNet FAQ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829576.msg9269808#msg9269808

One question which would be great markeitng.
Do we have trustless Annon in the Crypto World yet? We should make a comparison table with anon coins !
I dont think we have a decentralized trustless anon, but decentralized trustless. Please remember all when creating posts, messages and tweets, that mainstream doesn`t like the anon word...privacy sounds much better "I just want to start this update by making it clear, Fibre is not an Anon Coin. We are a Digital Currency targeting the mainstream user that has never used Digital Currency's."MXXX is understand that, but in the end it is what I wrote. So my question stays do we know any coin who has this intelligent. trustless, advanced Privacy Feature? Please consider my suggestion to do a comparison table with other Privacy Coins for your "Marketing Release of this feature"A hint is somewhere here ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) more details will follow soon, you will see for sure comparison in the whitepaper ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Thanks for suggestion >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>UPDATE<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Hi All,
Just a quick development update to give our community a view of Fibre from behind the scenes.
We currently have 3 main focuses, developing our Cloud platform, implementing FibreLock into the Bitcoin wallet and implementing features that will generate revenue from BlockNet. Our main focus is the cloud platform as this will host the next generation of Fibre applications, once this is in place HTML5, Facebook and Mobile wallets will follow shortly after.
We have to be sure that our cloud platform is not only fit for purpose but is secure and scalable aswell. The reason I originally chose BlockCypher to host out cloud platform, was because they are the best in the business. BlockCypher have invested a large amount of time and money into setting up their infrastructure. We have taken on this project our selfs, so some patience will be required
FibreLock has been coded into the latest Bitcoin wallet. Fibre will maintain a Bitcoin Repository and will provide the executables to the community.
For FibreLock in BTC we will be implementing a marketing strategy that uses press release, Social media promotion, Forum promotion, Blog posting, News syndication etc etc. We want to gain as much exposure as possible.
We will soon be welcoming a new team member this week! He is a very skilled C++ developer, has worked on many coins and will be bringing a feature with him to Fibre. A feature that has not been implemented in any other coin. I will make this information available when the times right. He has been working with us for the past few days and the level of innovation coming from the team has gone x10.
This will allow myself to concentrate on developing Features for Fibre that will generate revenue from BlockNet.
At this time I cannot release any information on the revenue generating features. As I do not want our ideas cloned.
We will be hosting a giveaway on some of the large chinese BTC forums. This is to help with our push into the asian markets. We are also looking for a Chinese Rep
I will say that BlockNet has challenged all of the developers involved to be more innovative. After being in a room with all of the Devs I'm 100% sure that BlockNet is going to change the digital landscape forever.
Regards Killa

I hope to see the entire crypto space vet the hell out of this decentralised "feature" and provide their basis good and bad. I think we may finally see results achieved within the design implemented within FIBRE without a lot of the empty promise and failure from others that tried before. This innovation does not happen by mistake and it not something you create overnight. It's apparent the devs have been brewing the fibre stew for a long time now and mixing it very well ![Kiss](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/kiss.gif) +1000 Imagine also ninja launch of such feature ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Can't wait to see the details off zero trust. Maybe this will be the anon everyone expects their favorite coin to have. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Details will be revealed soon ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hi All,
I just want to start this update by making it clear, Fibre is not an Anon Coin. We are a Digital Currency targeting the mainstream user that has never used Digital Currency's.
Stage one of our plan was to first capture the Crypto Community's attention, we chose to do this by implementing end to end privacy at a pace never seen before. I also believe that to target the mainstream you must be able to offer users the best experience. Ease of use, flexibility, accessibility etc
Fibre ZeroTrust © Transaction Privacy design brief
In the current design which is based on the open source XC mixer revision 1, there are some designated mixer nodes on the network that handle the mixing requests between client and destination. Transactions are split up into multiple smaller ones and then send either via one or two mixers then onto the final destination. The issues with this is that each of the smaller transactions are logged on the mixers and on the blockchain before being sent to the destination address. Potentially with a lot of hard work and forceful access to the mixer nodes the original transactions could be traced back eventually. But someone would have to be very determined and have full access to all the mixer nodes!
The new Fibre ZeroTrust design aims to get over this by uniquely sharing transaction information between multiple mixer nodes on the network fully decentralized.
The flow goes like this: Once a mixer node has picked up the mix request, it immediately shares the transaction information with other mixer nodes on the network. This shared transaction information is never unique to any specific mixer node until enough information has been shared between nodes to build up the full request. Then which even node has the final request information handles the transaction into the blockchain. There are safe guards in place to unsure that the mixer node receiving the initial request will never be the node that sends on the final transaction to the blockchain. Shared transaction information is never stored on the any of mixer nodes that handle the transmits and receives, as this is handled at an additional application layer above the blockchain processing. All that's registered is that one of the mixers sent a transaction to a destination address which was registered on the blockchain. If anyone were to gain physical access to the mixer nodes they could not trace back where the original sent transaction came from, as it's registered in the blockchain as coming form a single use address on the mixer to a destination address on the network.
One of the new mixer requirements it to enforce its usage over the FibreDark (Tor) network so that mixer nodes will always be registered behind hidden services nodes, regardless of the IP address they physically sit behind. This makes it easier to setup and manage mixers on the network. There will also be other minimum requirements to be set out in the near future.

Please note more details and marketing material to follow.........
Awesome , our own first trustless and decentralized transaction privacy design ^^

Don't think anything will change as long as the teams from the other coins stay silent. come on, let me meet there dev's & PR people. The perception its an XC project is only enforced by the fact that i only see the XC team in here (BN Thread) communicating
Not really , we are cooperating with XC Team each day , hop in to #fibre if you have any questions , we are there about 20 hours a day. Visit our thread too - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=737771.0You can find there PODs and all infromation about development , roadmaps, achievements , innovations and updates about what is going on behind the scenes XC will discuss there part in the Blocknet tech (same as Fibre) in there own thread. But there is also a dedicated BN thread. Are you saying that whats happens here is to be addresses only by XC team members? To me this gives a mixed message (all coins are equal members) but XC will deal with the day to day stuff and address all questions about the coming ITO Welcome XC team have created the BN thread, we are all equal, we will provide them with any support when it's needed, if you follow the BN thread you you will have noticed that not only me but other fibre devs and the community have posted. Links of all participating coins and their threads are located on the BN OP. Of course synechist will be answering most of the questions about BN, he will have the most accurate answers regarding the project and ITO There is also now new BlockNet FAQ created by synechist https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829576.msg9269808#msg9269808

There are at least three fundamental differences between the Blocknet and Supernet:
- XBridge is not an RPC call protocol, it's a true P2P protocol - There's no central or core currency, unlike SuperNET, which uses BTCD for this - Joining the Blocknet does not involve 10% of a coin's money supply being bought and centrally controlled
Shame on you
Please explain how SuperNET is not p2p. I was asked to not discuss it any more and will respect that Both SuperNet and BlockNet will be fine

In other news...
The ITO will also be taking place on Bter!
I hope this means too that all participating coins will be put there also for normal trading ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

BLOCK , BNET , BKN, BLOX are available from my recognition
Now we have to combine them with tokens
BLOCK - blocks
BNET - ?
BKN - ?
BLOX - ?

Ticker: BNT
how about making it very short BN ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) BNT and BN are taken ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I couldn't find both... what coins are they refering too? BitcoinNew , BankNote

Hey everyone, what if we called Blocknet tokens "blocks"?
(Ticker: BLOCK)
Opinions?
It is good name, it should be connected to BlockNet and recognizable And it is catchy
