I would guess that if Aliens are out there and are indeed a very civilized species, I would expect them to go for diplomacy before invading and destroying a planet over a vessel of the size of a terrestrial car. I am sure if we apologize and give them some tons of whatever minerals they want, then we should be okey.

Also, Russia cannot even take over a country which is much smaller than her, why should we hope the Kremlin to be more effective at defending their country from aliens than USA or Europe?  Roll Eyes

Russia wasn't originally trying to take over Ukraine. They were simply protecting their people and loads of Ukrainian people from Ukrainian shelling - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5382794.msg61752131#msg61752131. They have done this by pushing the Ukraine border further into Ukraine, especially in the Donbas area.

Since it has been the US goal to conquer Russia for a long time, they simply started pouring money and military aid into Ukraine, to help Ukraine do this job for them. In other words, Russia isn't fighting Ukraine. Russia is fighting the US and Nato. The Ukrainian people simply allowed their country to get in the way.

The PEOPLE. Russian and Ukrainian people have always intermingled. After all, they share the some of same border. And often in the past, that border was further into Russia or further into Ukraine. So, the reason for the shelling of the Donbas by the Ukraine military in 2014, doesn't seem to really be clear... except that the Donbas might have already become Russian territory, by agreement of the PEOPLE living there.

It's kinda like if Oregon started shooting at the 30% of its counties that are trying to secede from Oregon to join Idaho - https://www.freedomsphoenix.com/News/339413-2023-02-09-30-of-counties-vote-to-secede-from-oregon.htm.

Setting the Record Straight; Stuff You Should Know About Ukraine

https://www.theburningplatform.com/2023/02/11/setting-the-record-straight-stuff-you-should-know-about-ukraine/
On February 16, 2022, a full week before Putin sent combat troops into Ukraine, the Ukrainian Army began the heavy bombardment of the area (in east Ukraine) occupied by mainly ethnic Russians. Officials from the Observer Mission of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) were located in the vicinity at the time and kept a record of the shelling as it took place. What the OSCE discovered was that the bombardment dramatically intensified as the week went on until it reached a peak on February 19, when a total of 2,026 artillery strikes were recorded. Keep in mind, the Ukrainian Army was, in fact, shelling civilian areas along the Line of Contact that were occupied by other Ukrainians.

We want to emphasize that the officials from the OSCE were operating in their professional capacity gathering first-hand evidence of shelling in the area. What their data shows is that Ukrainian Forces were bombing and killing their own people. This has all been documented and has not been challenged.

EDIT: What few people are talking about... from the article:

There are number points we are trying to make in this article:

-    Who started the war?
    Answer– Ukraine started the war
-    Was the Russian invasion a violation of international law?
Answer– No, the Russian invasion should be approved under United Nations Article 51
-    Could the war have been avoided if Ukraine declared neutrality and met Putin’s reasonable demands?
Answer– Yes, the war could have been avoided

The last point deals with the Minsk Treaty and how the dishonesty of western leaders is going to effect the final settlement in Ukraine. I am convinced that neither Washington nor the NATO allies have any idea of how severely international relations have been decimated by the Minsk betrayal. In a world where legally binding agreements can be breezily discarded in the name of political expediency, the only way to settle disputes is through brute force. Did anyone in Germany, France or Washington think about this before they acted?
2583  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you answer all the questions asked in this forum honestly... on: February 12, 2023, 03:32:35 PM
What? We fight with spirits not humans. The NSA or CIA is nothing compared to the spiritual side. And servants of the LORD have power over it.

Everything is based in spiritual ideals. But, there is a balance. Consider King David in the OT. He was twice called by God, "a man after my own heart" (1 Sam 13:14; Acts 13:22). Yet David was one of the bloodiest of all killing machines at times.

God doesn't always destroy evil instantly. He allows evil so that evil-doers have a chance to repent. It's His way, the way of love. But He DOES destroy evil that will not repent after a sufficient time.

This is part of the spirit and the Spirit.

2586  Other / Politics & Society / Zelensky Lashes Out After Starlink Cuts Off Ukrainian Drones on: February 11, 2023, 04:51:16 PM
Looks like Musk is helping to stop the war by removing some of Ukraine's strength from them. It will be interesting to see if the US government steps in to force the Starlink system to become operational for Ukraine again. On the other hand, it might be the US who covertly ordered Musk and Shotwell to do this... just to give the US an honorable way for getting out of their Ukraine failure.

Zelensky Lashes Out After Starlink Cuts Off Ukrainian Drones

https://www.activistpost.com/2023/02/zelensky-lashes-out-after-starlink-cuts-off-ukrainian-drones.html
SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell in a statement asserted that Starlink technology was "never meant to be weaponized". According to BBC, "She made reference to Ukraine's alleged use of Starlink to control drones, and stressed that the equipment had been provided for humanitarian use."

Shotwell confirmed that the "surprise decision" was taken due to it never being the company's intent to allow Starlink to be used "for offensive purposes" in remarks given before a conference in Washington DC. Shotwell further said Ukraine had utilized the technology—

"in ways that were unintentional and not part of any agreement," according to Reuters.

After Musk provided the Starlink systems, the Ukrainian military quickly became dependent on them given the extreme battlefield conditions, including damage to existent communications infrastructure and frequent power outages. Additionally the Russians would often jam signals, thus Starlink allowed Ukrainian troops to circumvent these factors.

The Wednesday announcement from SpaceX was met with anger in Kiev, after already there's been an avalanche of Ukrainian government criticism aimed at Musk personally over his 'Russia-Ukraine peace poll' offered in October. As Bloomberg observed during that prior spat and tensions, Musk's tweets were "drawing the wrath of Ukrainians" merely for his proposing a negotiated solution which involved territorial concessions for the sake of lasting peace.

I am opposed to marijuana legalization, but also, its 'illegalization'. Why should something that you can grow in your back yard, in flower pots, and grows naturally all over the countryside, be illegal or legal? Get government out of it completely.

Cool

Marijuana is on this state before people discover it and subject to abused. This substance is the stepping stone of young people to be exposed on drugs because people always want more when they are already feeling less high on weeds. Legalizing it just make the police less job on busting user and seller but more job on cleaning the messed leave by people that is high on this substance.

But such ^^ is what freedom is about. If young people aren't controlled by their parents, government should step in. But regarding adults, there should be advertising by government, and then freedom rather than government restrictions.

If somebody won't obey the warnings, but uses his freedom to destroy himself... well, he is free, right? He might have asked for death, so if he resists life, and firmly asks for death, finally let him have what he asks for. Let him die.

WOKE is simply a formalization of the way a lot of people have been living for decades. In fact, it has been around for thousands of years in one form or another.

The only thing bad about people living their lives the way they want is, doing this is what is destroying many people.

We really need to learn how to live our lives in the way that we have been designed to live... designed by God.

2594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gary Gensler's SEC sues Crypto Influncers and posts on his Twitter as propaganda on: February 11, 2023, 04:02:57 PM
Here is the answer to beating the SEC, and essentially all of government's regulations, at least in the US.

There are two categories of living in the USA: Public, Private. Government has authority over public living, but it has very little authority over private living. The short answer is, live your life in private rather than public.

What does that mean for crypto? Do your crypto exchanging in private, so nobody knows the details about why you are transacting. Make a public statement for anyone who asks that such transactions have been done privately.

The fact is that if you don't use any public exchanges, the details behind any crypto operation ARE extremely private already. It takes the CIA and the NSA a bit of work to find out who is even behind transactions, provided that you don't tell them, and provided that you use a VPN to mask your Internet IP address.

If you want to go the rest of the way in privatizing your crypto transactions, join a private crypto club (is there such a thing?), or make a simple private club between yourself and whoever you are transacting with. Have the club in writing, so that you can show that it is private if the SEC asks about it. Use Private Membership Association (PMA) transacting.

What I mean is this. If your buddy comes over to your house, and you trade a bunch of money in your living room, it's a private transaction. Same with crypto. But make a formal agreement (PMA) that this is between the two of you, so that if the SEC pokes their nose in, they don't have the authority. It was private.

There are two parts to PMA making and operating: the formal PMA membership, and what to do to handle things if the SEC won't back down when you show them the PMA paperwork. Both parts can be found at the ProAdvocate Group here https://www.proadvocate.org/. The basic guy behind this was Karl Dahlstrom (deceased) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13OHj_2TOOA. But a general search on PMAs will give you a lot of info about how they are in use all over the place right now - https://duckduckgo.com/?t=lm&q=private+membership+association&ia=web.

Two thoughts regarding crypto and the PMA:

1. PMAs have no limit to the number of them that can be made. The only thing is to show something in the particular PMA in question that it is different than any other PMA. The way to do this with your crypto PMA is to use the hash of the transaction as the identification number of your PMA. Make a new PMA every time you transact. Write the PMA membership details right in the client, and reference it all in the transaction memo.

2. If the SEC drags you into court, never use an attorney. Why not? Because doing so drags you into the public, the exact thing that you don't want. See https://www.youarelaw.org/Download/CorpusJurisSecundum-AttorneyClient.pdf. ProAdvocate Group explains about not using an attorney. Rather, use a paralegal that you have contracted with to be your co-counsel. Much of the time paralegals know more law than attorneys, because attorneys use them to do their case research legwork.

Zionists misuse the Jews. But the real Israel is of God, and accepts Jesus, the Messiah, as God.

Unfortunately, Jews who don't accept Jesus, also DO accept the Messiah of the Old Testament. They are split within themselves, each one of them, because Jesus who they don't accept is the Messiah Who they DO accept.

Freedom dictates that one may do whatever he wants, as long as he injures nobody else.

Government should advertise the dangers of marijuana a hundred times more than they do, with the true scientific studies to back them. Then let the people be free.

It is standard in common law right now, that if a person injures someone else, he should be made to repay the injury. We don't need any special drug laws. Only good, solid advertising.

If someone damages himself because he won't accept the 'advertising', let his family or the church take care of him. Why should the people, through taxes, be forced to bear the burden of someone doing self-harm, especially after he has been warned over and over?
