2581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: May 15, 2019, 10:47:13 PM
I never exert effort to explain or argue the idea of crypto to anyone who refuse to believe. It is a waste of time for both of us. If they already have the notion that bitcoin is fake, scam or bubble, there is nothing I can say that Will change that.
2582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fake money? Think again! on: May 15, 2019, 10:27:59 PM
The argument that bitcoin has more value than the items bought online is weak and can easily dismay new users if the price of bitcoin suddenly drops. I always avoid discussing bitcoin price whenever introducing bitcoin to newbies. They may get the wrong idea that bitcoin is a easy money scheme.
2583  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will happen if BTC hit 1.000.000$ on: May 15, 2019, 06:56:00 PM
hi guys
if BTC hit 1 million $ in the future what will happen
do u think we will see more hack news
Definitely. The more value bitcoin has, the more incentives hackers have to hack exchanges, wallets and whatever they can hack to acquire bitcoin.

More violence and criminalization of bitcoin holders by governments
Any events we will see ?
I do not think bitcoin will ever reach 1Million value without getting approved or at least regulated by the government.
2584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: YoBit is a thief. on: May 15, 2019, 06:28:07 PM
They give 7% in the InvestBox for YOZI. But he fell 8x in 10 days. So they stole all the investors' money.
If you have proofs about this, it is better if you compile them and bring them forward through scam accusation board.

If you are investing any shitcoin coming from Yobit, you deserve to lose money.

Exactly. Yobit already has a bad reputation in the forum and still, he bought its shit coin. It is the bad investor's fault if he gets conned into buying shitcoins.

AceBoy1989 and Placebo1977 cheater. Don't believe them. They are YoBit's dogs.
2585  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin has reached 8000$, then what? on: May 15, 2019, 06:06:26 PM
now the bitcoin has reached 8000$ and the altcoin is starting to move up. can this survive or there will be another fall. can this be said that the bear market is over?
I think the bear market is over for a month and a half already. However, as much as I enjoy to see the price getting higher, I am more concerned with what's happening than happy. I was pretty sure Bitcoin would get stuck between 6 and 7 thousand something for a while. Instead, it only took a couple of days to reach $8k. This looks way too much like the 2017 case. The fees already jumped, people are trading a lot, the price is moving up too fast. I think that if it doesn't slow down, we might see another long bearish market soon.

I do not think so. The jump will be too much if it crosses above 10K which is still very far. As we can see, the price still has trouble sustaining above 8K. It keeps on sliding back when it reaches this level.
2586  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 50K, China banned miners on: May 15, 2019, 03:48:35 PM
Less miners = More Demand = increasing price, as simple as that.
The way I see it, Less Miners == Less Secure == Less Trust == Less Investors == Less Price. Bitcoin will still produce 12.5 BTC per block even with less miners, so how will that contribute to more demand?

2588  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Ok, here's a 1BTC puzzle. on: May 15, 2019, 02:35:49 PM
Is this still unsolved? Maybe it is time for a clue.

It is still up for grab. The address still contains 1BTC.

Do not expect any more clue, OP has never logged in since he posted this puzzle.
2589  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone here long enough? on: May 15, 2019, 02:24:31 PM
Hi there
I would like to get tips from people that are in the crypto world for a while and saw a few bear markets already.
There is so much speculation right now and It makes me be uncertain about my moves (buying and selling)
One thing you should ask yourself, do you believe in bitcoin and its blockchain technology? Do you see its value and its massive potential? If you do, and you are not much of a trader, then be just an investor and hodl.

Do you just always HODL? when do you know where to sell?
I HODL when the market is going down because I believe that bitcoin will always recover from it. It takes time but when it bounces back, the profit is multiple times your investment. But when the price is up and bullish, that is the time I take my profit. I sell when everyone else is buying because of hype or bullish trend. That is the time that bitcoin price is surging and I take that opportunity to cash out my profit.

When do you think the market is about to go down you sell and then getting back when you think it's recovering?
Even experts will sometimes miss when a market is going to turn around, especially in crypto. I do not sell because I expect the market to go down but I sell because I know I already have a profit. I do not get greedy and target the top of the market price but instead set my target profit and sell on that price. The same if the market is going down. I accumulate every time the price breaks support or goes down. I buy an exact an amount every time the price goes down.
2590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is necessary for Remittance Industry?? on: May 15, 2019, 01:37:27 PM
Minimum there was at least for 500$ and also it will take 2 to 3 days for transferring this money to beneficiary account.
Just the delay of 2 to 3 days before you receive the money is enough to dismay me from using bank wire transfer. Western Union is better but it has a very high fee. That is also the reason I am using crypto to send money to my relatives.

Thats when i realised the real potential of Bitcoin . Then after Came back to crypto space after long time . I got real trust . Then after market also started to move towards bullish run (Coincident) . Now i am feeling proud that i am in crypto community.
Welcome back to crypto community. What you realized as a potential of Bitcoin is just a tiny speck of what it can really do. That is why I am investing in bitcoin because of its massive potential.
2591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whoever is running BitcoinWisdom, get your head out of your ass and update site! on: May 15, 2019, 11:24:07 AM
There was a time bitcoinwisdom is a very useful tool to me. Now i am using coinmarketcap and cryptocompare. If you cannot make do without bitcoinwisdom, use the io site like everyone else says. It is basically the same.
2592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Merchants Now Accepting Bitcoin on: May 15, 2019, 09:02:12 AM
This is good news. Kudos to the Winklevoss brothers for helping bring this wonderful development to bitcoin. There are concerns here that it is still a third party but for me, this is good for adoption. The third party app helps mediates the things lacking in bitcoin to become the main payment scheme. That is good enough for me right now.
2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: May 14, 2019, 11:23:52 PM
What do you think can be a consistent winning player on this game? is this game of skills or luck?
the longer you play more skills you get?
yes experience always important because if you are doing something in the beginning and if you are doing something after some days it will be different so it is also saved for the games and gambling so spending lots of time will always giving the special skills.

Experience coupled with social skills and bluffing. These are the skills you need to be a great poker player. It does not matter if you have a bad hand if you can bluff your way into winning. The most important skill is how to read your opponent through their actions, or gestures while covering your own with a poker face.
2594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rising, Scams Rising on: May 14, 2019, 10:14:49 PM

It is sad that for people in the media any scam that uses Bitcoin as the medium of exchange or currency is labeled as Bitcoin scam but when a scam is using the fiat money it is not in anyway called as the Dollar scam.

Sad but the truth is, that is the easiest way to discredit bitcoin. Any crypto related scams will be labeled bitcoin scams.
Anyway, any scams can easily avoided by a knowledgeable mind. If you can easily identify scams and won't give in to your greed, you will not be a victim. No victim, lesser motivation for scammers to continue their schemes. Let us educate each other.
2595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope I can still ride the bull. on: May 14, 2019, 02:57:08 PM
Binance will have its update and will resume withdrawal and deposit after. If you are not in a hurry, you can wait for that.

I have traded on Kucoin, Poloniex and OKex before. You can also try the top exchanges in Coinmarketcap.

It is never too late to start trading. Bull or bear market, there is always a chance to earn money.
2596  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: May 14, 2019, 08:55:46 AM
Delay ang Cash in at Cash out ngayon sa coinspro. Kung kailangan papataas ang presyo ng bitcoin at masarap mag convert from BTC to PHP. Hopefully maresolve kaagad.

2597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is Climbing Up. on: May 14, 2019, 08:34:35 AM
Right now Bitcoin is climbing up so fast, In the CMC Bitcoins' price is $7,875.26. Its a great news, Do you think it will be the same as what happened on 2017 ? What are your thoughts about it ?

I hope not. Though it is tempting that we climb rapidly into 20K, but the repercussion hurts badly. If it just like it was 2017, then next year will be another full year of a frustrating bear market. I rather have it slowly moving up but with strong support on each level.
2598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading vs HODLing on: May 14, 2019, 08:11:12 AM
Right now, HODLing is making me some pretty good gains. Before I HODL'ed, I was using Wolfpackbot tho. Some days I was gaining .5% and others I was gaining closer to 2%. It depends on how the market is going tho. Sideways markets seem to work well with the bot vs bull markets and investing/hodling. What would you guys suggest? What are you guys using to trade? Do any of you use bots like the Wolfpackbot?

I am most of the time a hodler but I do trading from time to time. I normally enjoying trading when the market is stable or moving sideways. It is very hard for me to predict when it is very much bullish so I only cash out my hodl during that time. I do not use any bot even though most of the traders right now are using bots. I feel more excitement when I am doing it manually than relying on bots.
2599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bear market season change to bullrun? on: May 14, 2019, 07:09:26 AM
I want to hear your opinion about changes in current market conditions. Has the bear season really ended and changed into the bull season? Then how do you make a strategy in trading. Buy large quantities of altcoins? Share your opinions to share experiences here. Thanks.
It is clear by now that it is already a bull market. The price just crossed 8000 level and it is still going up strong. This time, I am slowly unloading and cashing out as the price goes up. I have waited a long time for this bull run. Now is the time to enjoy my profit and wait again for the bear to accumulate.
2600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 14, 2019, 02:54:51 AM
In addition to the exchanges listed on the CMC, there are many other exchanges.I have a question WHY do we need so many exchanges? What do You think the new exchange will be able to attract potential users?

I think having more exchanges works to our advantage. Competition between exchanges can bring cheaper fees and better overall service. Newer exchanges have to think of new ideas to be a better exchange or have gimmicks that could attract more clients. If they do not adopt with the competition, they will die. We do not have the need for it but isn't it just good that we have choices.
