2581  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin using or need! Vs stable coins on: November 01, 2019, 11:05:14 AM
I don't necessarily need Bitcoin but I use it. I don't know if stable coins can beat Bitcoin in terms of usage or volume per day but one thing I know is that all this cryptocurrency has their own use depending on how people understand their platforms.
Stable coin cannot beat bitcoin, because they have no additional benefit along with their usage, and you know that the other additional benefit of bitcoin in its usage is what is mostly attractive to people more, as they are using bitcoin, they are also enjoying the benefit of an increase in them, although we could claim that the volatility of bitcoin is quite making it risky for transaction, but that is not a problem now, because people can still mix it with all these stable coins.

Anytime they see that bitcoin is highly volatile because it is not every time that it will and even this volatility of a thing, sometimes it is even more beneficial to people. Imagine someone that is earning $7300 and he receives his payment in bitcoin when it was making a surge for $9k, has his salary not increased?
2582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Creates Currency to Cancel-out Cryptocurrency on: October 31, 2019, 08:02:14 PM
The same way you see this and have knowledge of this is the same way that we also know what the plan of china is in cryptocurrency and because of the knowledge of it that people have already, that would make this coin not to really get much attention no matter what they try to do.

There is no doubt that it will actually be used, there is no point deceiving ourselves, it will be used, but we cannot completely rely on it as much as we will rely on coins that are decentralized like bitcoin, and news spread faster than anything, no matter the new person that is coming into the market, if china thinks they are the target, those new people will always know about bitcoin which they cannot be kept away from it, and I doubt if anyone that understand bitcoin would want to rely on china cryptocurrency.
2583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming Soon: China's Own Cryptocurrency on: October 31, 2019, 05:46:12 PM
I know that some will be arguing that what China is cooking right now is not actually a real cryptocurrency due to its centralized and state-controlled nature. But what the heck, China is the next world superpower and it is seeing the vision of using cryptocurrency to further its entrenched economic position all the world.

I am seeing a great potential of this coming state cryptocurrency to be utilized in transacting business with China or in eCommerce department, and this is a huge potential. Jack Ma must already be thinking something how to exploit this great opportunity.

Are you seeing what I describe here? China is conquering the globe without using any sword...
And so? If china creates cryptocurrency, would they now impose the use of the currencies on us, they can impose it on people like you who have absolute no idea of why bitcoin is totally different from their own cryptocurrency. The fact that china is creating cryptocurrency does not mean I should be fidgeting or jubilating because I would still not see what advantage it will have over bitcoin.

First, china will never create a currency that will be volatile which makes it very useless to people, its regulation will surely make it more of a stable coin, and when we talk of stable coin, we all know what we need stable coin for and we all know what we need volatile coins for, both are not same function. If china like crates their currency, watch and see how it will still be flogged by bitcoin.
2584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are finally going to $22k on: October 30, 2019, 07:26:59 PM
These kind of prediction exist since 2017 when bitcoin reach all time high and people predict for next year bitcoin's price will hit 50K at the end of 2018.
I hate the prediction without analysis, but in term of the spirit of the people i would like it because it can attract new investors to buy bitcoin because of those people prediction
There is no prediction that can ever be right even with analysis in this very volatile crypto market, so everything that we are all doing is just speculation and I think it is still quite good for now because if you don’t continue keeping people’s hope alive like that, we will keep having people that will get discouraged about the market sometimes when the value dump which may end up getting them to panicking and selling their coin rather than making more demand.

We really don’t need people to make panic for us right now, what we need is more demand of bitcoin so that we can continue having this type of increase that visited this market of recent when bitcoin made a move to cross over $9000, but based on op’s prediction, I think we should be able to see $22k at bull run next year.
2585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have to sell bitcoin to an alt, so... on: October 30, 2019, 06:38:19 PM

I'll sell it on Ethereum too, Especially now its price has dropped. The second is Kucoin I see their strong exchange which may be similar to Binance Coin.
Kucoin is honestly a very potential coin in the making and if I have to make investment right now again, I would invest in kucoin because I already have enough of most of these projects that are being listed here, but still yet to have kucoin because I am waiting for it to really bottom, but for future potential, I think kucoin exchange is another exchange that is the making and destined to be great like binance, and we all know how binance value started growing from $1 to the current price it is now, I was a little bit late in making investment in binance even when the price dump a bit and I had the chance, but never believed much in their project then as much as I believe now, but right now, I think I would not miss the chance of having kucoin as future investment.
2586  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading fees really matter ? on: October 30, 2019, 06:06:59 PM
it really depends on the your profit taking appetite. people who want short term gains or require funds or people who earn small profits like to save as much as possible on the other hand for traders who trade a lot have a lot of experience and know they can recover whatever they lost are less concerned 'bout the fee.
In the other way round, I think that those who trade with big amount are the ones that usually do complain of fees which I think it is even greedy of them because they earn a lot from the money that the fee should have become insignificant to them, but because it is looking quite big and they want to maximize the profit, they complain of trading fee. Looking at it, trading fee is really very small amount being charged and should not really affect any of our own income.

People that trade low are even the ones that will not see this fee at all, most especially the one that is being charged by binance which is the lowest to me for now. If people still complain of these fees, then would they have the exchange charge them zero fee then because they are the one that created the platform for them?
2587  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: October 30, 2019, 01:30:08 PM
Only negative side is, I recommended this site to many of my friends but players like myself who lives in Turkey are facing problems to access the site and have to use VPN.
It is not easy to pick the right VPN neither, sometimes some VPN's help you get around to "legal" websites of their region for example, just to give an example, we are talking about Turkey and they have wikipedia banned for example and some VPN's does unlock that and you can visit it, however when it is gambling which is illegal in turkey it is still banned even with VPN.

Those are usually free VPN's created for ideological purposes that goes against the governments etc but when it comes down to expected laws of many nations they stop like sexual content websites and casinos. So, you have to pick the right VPN and fortunejack has nothing to do with it, fortunejack can't just help you find a proper VPN so you can break your own nations laws and come play here whenever you want, that would be weird.
2588  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: October 30, 2019, 01:00:16 PM
The 0 confirmation is basically a marketing tactic so if a gambler loses all their BTC and they are on the tilt to revenge gamble then chances are they will if the deposit is confirmed fast, if it takes a few hours to confirm they might get bored and stop gambling and stop losing money. If it comes right away they will gamble it instantly and might lose it also.
Yeah it works, there are tons of people who does exactly this, there are also tools that make it easier as well, I have sold something to a double spender before (they legit paid me because I would have cancelled their subscription if they didn't) but I have watched him literally pay for food with double spending and get the money back, he didn't had to because dude was rich as hell but he just wanted to show off I guess.

So, the double spending happens in bitcoin to this day, exactly the method you talked about and they make a ton of money from unsuspecting casinos, casinos think there is a ton of people who lost their bets but they realize there isn't that many btc in their accounts and when they figured it out most of the time it is already too late.
2589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins price at bull run on: October 29, 2019, 07:22:11 PM
In your opinion, when the Bullrun period will occur ? Will the price of LTC not increase when Bullrun occurs?
Why do you doubt LTC? Although ATH LTC is $375 but when Bullrun happened I'm sure LTC able to reach $100.
We are the ones spoiling these projects and making them kind of lazy when we are always making them feel like we are comfortable attributing their growth to bull run, and if we analyses it deeply,  these coins are meant to be able to operate on their own and keep gaining little value day by day no matter how little the demand may be,  or have we suddenly forgotten too that what is really responsible for the increase of these coins is the demand that is placed on them which bull run should not be a determinant factor but how much their product is being used.

If you see some of these coins not gaining value at all, it shows that people are really not using them that much. Imagine that I have a shop selling something, I stocked the shop with something that I know people need but fail to go out there as use different method to attract people to it, will I really get any sales?  This is the case of ltc too, teams are not doing well and truth must be told.
2590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TETHER (USDT) on ERC20 on: October 29, 2019, 06:40:28 PM
I don’t have anything to really say about this that much because it is just a stable coin and them moving on ecr token will only get users for them, but will not increase the cost of it or make it suitable for investment.

Doing this also will not solve the problem of transparency that they have as issue already on ground as tether will always be tether, for user of tether, they should not expect anything positive or additional benefit to this move, but as usual and as selfish as they are, they still made this move to actually satisfy their own need, which they all ecr20 holders will surely be tempted to use them, but for me, I will still prefer to use a ,more reliable stable coin because I don’t think that the tether coin is ever going to be reliable which may even eventually have some issues in the future, so better to stay away from them till further notice for now.
2591  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't react to the fluctuations on: October 29, 2019, 04:52:25 PM
We have been doing same mistakes again and again that's by reacting to the market fluctuations as either we tend to start buying like there is no tomorrow when we see pump or else panic and empty our coffers for slightest  dump and the reason I am suggesting you all to stop reacting is for the fact that the bitcoin market is going through quick pump and dump from past 4 or 5 days so it will prove fatal if we sell out or buy at this point of time. Just take some time and look observe the trend for week or so before jumping into any conclusion.
You are the one that would say is funny, because this thing should be a personal thing, if you advice everyone not to react, you are indirectly trying to turn the market to a redundant one, where there would be no much activities other than people just standing still and waiting for a pump to happen.

The sweetness of bitcoin trading is that we need people to panic for some to buy at cheaper rate while we need some people to FOMO for some people that have bought cheaper to make profit, if everyone behaves the way you want, we are still the one that will be complaining of bitcoin not doing perfectly well which I think is a very wrong thing. These are things that create volatility, so we really can't shy away from it mate. We need it as traders to make money.
2592  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Bounces Back Above $8200, Are Bulls Finally Here? on: October 29, 2019, 01:33:44 PM
Indeed we would love it to become a bull run for facing reality that is just wishes. At this very time bitcoin price is dangling with 7450$ price value so this said the bull run is a bit far from bitcoin's reach
The bull is being beaten by the bear as we are witnessing the downfall to this current situation, Bitcoin is not in a good shape right now and if weak holders
will continue to follow the current movement there's a lots to expect from the market downwards.
Time to buy for investors who still looking for long term and will not be worry if in case the price will fall more deeper.
I think now, people just need money more form the market and we have to know that it is not every money that is being kept in the market that is actually meant to be there for life, people have different reason why they put bitcoin in their wallet and decisions can be made at any time, at this particular time, someone must have made a very big decision that involves huge amount of money.

All these we really cannot avid seeing happening, the people we call bears actually have right to their money, what we just need is adoption, if we have adoption from people on the level of payment and not just for investment, we can always see that bitcoin value will rise more than it dumps, but if it is still the level of investment alone, there will always be more dump than a pump.
2593  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 29 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: October 27, 2019, 05:43:27 PM

Considering these are back to back bets and given the bet amount how insane is this?!
Holy hell someone got x50 back to back? Dude literally spent 0.33 or so for these bets and made out with 16+ bitcoins, that is some big stuff right there.

People forget that odds are very very small for these kinds of stuff but at the same time they do exist and they can do it, which means they can actually do it, like yeah it would be very tiny possibility but considering how many hands there has been in primedice so far in the past 6+ years it doesn't look like it is impossible to have multiple of these type of back to backs that we just haven't seen, probably even bigger odds that happened back to back happened as well, we just didn't see it.

There has been over 30 billion bets right now and it is unlikely that something like 9900x or whatever happened even back to back, I know that one looks a bit impossible but in 30+ billion bets that becomes more of a reality.
2594  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: October 27, 2019, 04:03:43 PM
Well, Watford started out very bad with that many losses and all but they have been getting significantly better recently. They have turned into a 5-3-2 formation so they could actually play better defense and also go for a counter attack but obviously on this last game that didn't happen.

When you let the other team come to your half and play heavily with 10 of your man on your defense all guarding someone and making some sort of glue like defensive scheme, you may end up conceding if they get lucky but you are also in possibility of getting the ball and attacking while they are all on your goal. Watford is now finally 1 win away from the current position they are in. If they end up winning one game (and they will play Norwich the week after) they may actually have a chance to get out of elimination spot.
2595  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: October 27, 2019, 03:26:26 PM
I always wanted bitcoin in the bullish side, even if I am in a situation that I don't have bitcoins. Because I have no problems buying them at an expensive price knowing it will continue to move upwards. And I dislike companies that offers leveraging like Bitmex. They the reasons traders can short bitcoin. Sad
First, you have to know that there is going to be a price that bitcoin will get to that it will no longer move any further, we have limited supply of bitcoin and once this supply is getting low, the volatility of the coin will reduce and the coin will start becoming stable, buying at that time is actually a very big mistake and I don’t think that is going to be suitable for investment.

The only time that bitcoin should be purchased is when there is a dip in the price, that is the best time. When it comes to leveraging, I don’t think it is the company that you should hate but the traders that are over using leveraging and most especially those that are using high leveraging at the ones that are quite greedy. If you know how to trade well, and you use low leverage, there is a chance of actually losing your trade and giving chance to those company to make money.
2596  Economy / Economics / Re: $175 billion just printed and the Bitcoin price goes down! on: October 27, 2019, 01:18:48 PM
We cannot be decieved by such things. We should take precautions whenevet this instances occurs so that we can protect our investment. It can actually be a bear trap so we should be always mindful with our decisions and always avoid selling your bitcoin just because its value went down. We just need to be patient, things will get better as time passes by, the price will recover soon so we should not be too excited about our profits.
When I see bitcoin price dump, I usually don’t panic myself at all because I will check the market to see that there is no fud news that has made such dump to occur, and in a situation where you don’t see much fud news, we should have already known that this is a whale trap which the thing we should try to do more than is more of purchasing.

I see that people actually have known this, and they will not panic sell anymore and because they have caught the strategy of whales already, this is why they decided to hide under bakkt to crash the price, thinking that majority of us would feel the crash was as a result of bakkt release and start panic selling again rather than buying, but even with that, I still ended up buying more of bitcoin to the best of my financial status.
2597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has alt season started? on: October 27, 2019, 09:07:32 AM
Do you believe that it has started? I have a good feeling that I should buy them before winter. Prove me wrong.
There is actually a very clear sign that altcoin season may start at any time, and we can see from the present increase that made the market to generally go on green lane, though this increase was actually because of the increase that we saw in bitcoin from about $7500 to $9700 suddenly, but what still made me feel that it is sign of bull run is because altcoins don’t usually react to the increase of bitcoin generally.

Most coins that usually react to the increase are still coins that are within the top altcoins, but this time around, majority of them actually surge in price also along with the bitcoin, which sent some signals to me that we might be about getting into bull run, and another thing that made me feel so is that most altcoins have now bottomed.
2598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen if the ethereum price decline continues? on: October 27, 2019, 08:28:39 AM
Yes ether price was declined so i think this is the right tome to invest in bitcoin as we can see investor are waiting to dump ether for them to buy more.
Ether now is a good coins thet we can invest our money.
If ether price continuously to even decline, I would personally see it still as a kind of opportunity for me to acquire more of this coin for future, though the current price it is now is high already and whoever invest in Ethereum now will really be happy doing so in the future when bitcoin, Ethereum and other altcoins starts increasing.

The advantage of even holding bitcoin among all altcoins is that Ethereum is such a coin that usually respond to the increase if bitcoin anytime that we have one. If bitcoin lift in price today, you can expect that Ethereum will also rise in price unlike other altcoins that would have to wait for the full altcoins season for them to be able to gain any high profitable value.
2599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you guys think about this 2 alts? on: October 26, 2019, 07:48:46 PM
i think that investing in these coins will be a total gambling since they dont have good foundations and fundamentals
they may pump since any coin can pump and since most of the coins are in hands of a small group off people that can manipulate the market
but the liquidity is very low so i'll better gamble on other coins
It will really be a waste of money to me too because if I may tell the op that I have never seen those coins before an this is almost over 5 years of my time in the cryptocurrency space and most of these projects that are not very popular is not even good for investment and not to talk about them even having a real product that will attract users to use them, they could just create a project and really not get anyone to actually use whatever product that the feel from their head that should be released.

I would rather take from all these already existing project that are even still trying to make it despite the fact that they still belong to the top altcoins in the market, I hope op has not made the mistake of investing in the coin because it is not a coin that I can really vouch for.
2600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi in Oxford English Dictionary on: October 26, 2019, 07:17:04 PM
To some extent, it actually has an impact on the community because they tend to be at peace more with something that is recognized worldwide, and something they can even make reference to when discussing with the people involved. Wherever satoshi is now, I am sure he will be so glad to know that his name is being made reference to already which I am also sure that very soon, institutions will also start teaching with the name in class and they will always refer to him as cryptocurrency guru.

The happiest moment will be the recognition he will get when the government eventually recognizes cryptocurrency and decide to give it a chance to be spent by the entire citizens of the world, so I see it as a good news to some certain extent really.
