1621  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's the new big Cryptocasino to use for a UK player on: March 07, 2022, 07:24:49 PM
Wondering why looking for another casino that is BIGGER than stake when most of the advises you can get here is Stake of course because they are the most popular and most trusted UK company in terms of gambling?

and also after almost 6 years of Inactivity here in forum , you woke up just to ask this question?
But, is there any casino that is bigger than stake or should I say are there any casino that is a good competitor of stake?  I guess there isn't at the moment but who knows there would be in the future if ever stake didn't manage to maintain their great service. He was inactive for a long time and he was looking for a new casino? But, if he can just gamble in the casino that he have use before, he would feel like it was a brand new casino because stake have done regular updates that are not seen during the time he gamble.

There is also huge number of games on stake, so it's impossible to get bored trying all of them but there is no issue about his account suddenly became active and ask this question.
1622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detect scam token on Binance Smart Chain on: March 07, 2022, 06:48:15 PM
Once upon a time every erc20 token was a scam, that was the way of newbies that came into crypto space in 2018 ( bear market ) they probably make one or two investments that doesn't do so well as they hoped for, I wouldn't have made my 12,000$ in 2021 if I believed that all BSC projects are scam...learn to do research first before saying such statement.
It means that you have learned a lot about everything in the past and also in the present because the ERC-20 token in 2018 is a trash token which will eventually become a scam and the BSC token whose owner is not clear will also become a scam in the end so it is actually already almost similar to the past although you are late to realize it now.
There's so much more in crypto and learning everything here can take time but the guy already has some experience in the past because he did not believe in the claim that all erc20 are a scam. It is like they are saying that all cryptocurrencies are a scam or btc is a scam but of course, that is not true, and indeed that only a newbie person will have this mindset.

2018 can be called a bear season and the majority of the coins have fallen, this can give others a false impression that all erc20 coins on that year are trash but few have survived and they are now stronger but we didn't notice it because most people now focus on BSC tokens.
1623  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: March 06, 2022, 09:58:27 PM
If their slippage remains hovering that level, then I don't think that OWL token will be listed on CEX anytime soon. But I believe there is a chance if they can continue to build their community in a healthy manner while increasing the amount of liquidity on DEX.

Other than that, listing the token in an exchange requires a pretty huge amount of money.
But how? Does slippage really matters if the coin will be listed on a cex exchange or not? what about other coins before? they first listed on a centralized exchange and then decentralized exchange follows. I think lots of people loves to trade with pancakeswap over a cex because they can sell the coins they have in an instant.

Cex has a lot of restrictions, you can't sell a coin if it's not a whole value and there are minimum amounts too for trade and withdraw. 12 percent usually fixes most errors but if not, setting the slippage to 36 percent can be the second option. Never tried setting the slippage higher than this and that can be costly already.
1624  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake charging $3.09 on a $1.69 withdraw on: March 06, 2022, 09:28:21 PM
I used to play on Stake.com I noticed that the fee is quite high compared to other casinos but transactions always showed up in a few minutes, I have no problem with withdrawal I just like playing there and there's emotional attachment if you're enjoying the game and not looking for profit if you're withdrawing a lot and you're playing with a small amount you'll notice that but if you want to enjoy and not withdrawing often you will just ignore it.
Transactions showing up quickly is due to the high transaction fee that stake charges and also because they offer instant withdrawals. No need for the gamblers to wait few minutes or an hour before they got their money, that is only one of the advantages playing with stake casino.

If your playing for fun, you will tend to deposit smaller amounts because you will gonna use all of it so fees in the withdrawals is not your primary concern but if you want to play for profit, using a small amount can be crucial for winning and it will be hard for you to reach the site's withdrawal threshold. Fix withdrawal fees are better IMO because you know your going to pay the same even the network fees outside are high.
1625  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics on: March 06, 2022, 08:38:33 PM
digital currency that is planned to be released by several countries in my opinion will not have a big effect on Bitcoin. for me, the digital currency is country-specific and Bitcoin is general in nature that many countries can use.
It will have no effect with bitcoin because the countries have no authority of regulation over it as they have control over their fiat and the digital currency of their own. Fiat or digital currency won't affect bitcoin. The government is only innovating digital currency because of the nature of exchange in global level . Digital currency is interacting with the factors that also affect or influencing fiat but different from bitcoin .
Yeah why will they be interested on to something that they cannot own directly like bitcoin when they can just create their own digital currency? they can chose to make it more centralized or regulated so they have full control over it.

If there will be effect I think that is because some crypto users will try those new digital currencies and maybe some will transfer with them completely leaving cryptos behind, this is unlikely but it can be possible for some reasons like cryptocurrencies are too anonymous and they cant track the criminals if ever one of them got victimized or cryptos are too unstable that they can lose the value of their money easily.
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 05, 2022, 10:11:06 PM
The one who wins a lot of goals in the first leg will obviously get a chance to qualify, especially in the second leg all clubs will work hard to get better, but Manchester City already has strong capital to ensure that they qualify for the next round because they have beaten their opponents. by scoring more goals in the previous match and in the second leg later Manchester City just need to maintain their performance so that not many goals are scored against them.
Not only City, even 2 other EPL clubs can be said to be strong candidates for qualification because Liverpool and Chelsea are also doing the same thing.
On the other hand, their performance is still quite good compared to their opponents.
In the 2nd Leg later for City, I even feel that I will not work too hard, even though the match will still be run but having to win against a club like City by pursuing an aggregate of 5 goals is not an easy thing to do
After end of first 1st phase of this knock out stage three English clubs are in very good position for going into quarter-final and Manchester United is also having some fair chance for qualifying because they are currently doing some better in Champions League instead of Premier League and this is good plus point for them with first league end in draw and both teams score 1 - 1 which is not bad for them now they need to do play with some better strategy.

Because, it's very important for them to keep cool and done some good against Atletico Madrid in home game which is also having some bad time in La Liga and trying their best for jump into top four for better and secured entry for next season.
1627  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: March 05, 2022, 09:02:18 PM
Grrrr, why @roycilik always won so much money in many games?
Why always me Cheesy
Because you are the only one remaining player who like to play slot and share what you win. I used to do the same thing in the beginning stage of duelbits's contests but I have stopped gamble so I cant share like what you still do here and there. Honestly, you would have been a streamer with many fans if you decided to be streamer few years ago when you started gamble slot. Unfortunately you are not interested to be streamer, maybe if you decided to be streamer, you are now being paid by most bitcoin casinos Smiley
He could 100% definitely be a streamer. When you get a name for yourself in bitcointalk, that is already a user base that you could use. I am not saying that it would be enough, but starting from something instead of starting from nothing matters. If you start a streaming channel and get like 10+ views on average even during your first ever one, and in something like gambling while you keep on sharing your wins here and there as well, there will be more people.

I remember a guy who played a game that wasn't even cared about all that much, and in return he just gave away "game gold" which is not even worth anything, and that dude got so many viewers, and that was literally a game. If roycilik ended up streaming, he would get some people, and the moment he starts to share his wins, that number would skyrocket a lot. He is not alone neither, there are few names here that could do the same.
1628  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: March 05, 2022, 08:06:26 PM
I am not entirely sure if all of the casinos in the crypto space should be going with the NFT route. I mean I get the idea, they are making millions of dollars from it and why shouldn't they take that extra money, that makes sense. However reality is that we are talking about something that is a bit blend here. Just because they could make money, doesn't mean they should do it. Business is something you do to make money and that is all for most places, but there are ethical questions in mind sometimes.

There are some rich people we dislike, and some we do not mind, why? Because, some rich people abuse anything they could in order to make money whereas some do the right thing to get it.
1629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: According to Bill Miller, the collapse of Russia's currency is good for Bitcoin on: March 05, 2022, 06:06:14 PM
The impact of having heavy economical sanctions in a country can quite be costly- it will be relatively harder and difficult for the people in Russia to transact and purchase goods within their area. Inflation will rise and all of the costs of goods would definitely spike-up due to having scarce resources on their countries.

This is where BTC can step in. Its application can somehow support Russian citizens to purchase goods outside their country by transacting and using BTCs. I do think that BTC can have an impact to this war especially on its price.
They can use bitcoin to order stuffs online but I'm thinking if how can a delivery pass through on their country? because this Russia is now blocked for incoming and outgoing transactions. There's also talks that bitcoin transactions which came from Russia is going to be restricted, this includes some exchanges and maybe some wallet providers. They really want to make sure that Russian country would suffer and won't escape the sanctions that have been applied to them.

Bitcoin can be used in tough situations but only as an alternative to national currencies and once the situation returns to normal, I'm afraid that the use of bitcoin can become weaker.
1630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 on: March 05, 2022, 04:38:48 PM
I might just be a little dumb, but is there an official announcement, and/or countdown until Ethereum cannot be mined? I can't seem to find anything definitive.
no notification for this yet. even from the latest information i know, it looks like ethereum 2.0 is not a new network rather it is like layer2. so their development is like starting all over again. unlike the original plan of those who wanted to create a new network, maybe they were in trouble. so maybe the announcement about the launch countdown won't be made any time soon.
They are no difference, some people would say that the ETH 2.0 is another token, but that is not true, there is no ETH 2.0 token. And it is now referred to as the consensus as the other comments have pointed out. The development is a step by step progress, and it has about three stages: the Beacon chain, the merge, and the Shard chains.

The Beacon chain has already gone live in 2020, so it is the Merge that would be next, and it should be anytime this 2022 according to information on their website and other media websites. The final stage which is the Shard chains would somewhere in 2023. Whatever changes that were made are for the better.
1631  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: March 04, 2022, 08:01:27 PM
I also don't expect too much from Bitcoin, I just want there are no more countries that ban Bitcoin. I also don't need to hope that Bitcoin will replace fiat, the most important thing is that Bitcoin can be an alternative payment for me that's a good enough. But the fact is that there are still many countries that always think negatively of Bitcoin, they prohibit the use of Bitcoin to their residents. Even though a country prohibits its residents from
using Bitcoin is a waste of time, because residents of that country can still use Bitcoin. There is always a way to be able to use Bitcoin, so why not just legalize Bitcoin, so the government can benefit from bitcoin.
Unbanning bitcoin is highly possible, a lot of countries already went in to this phase where they ban and unban btc. We can say that this is not high or too much expectation but for btc to become a legal tender I think this is the real one that is too much because this isn't easy and as we can see there's only 1 country that have done this so far.

The recent happening in the war makes other countries realize how useful btc was and after this, they might now unban btc but if your on a country where btc is still banned, you should obey the rules even if you think you can easily bypass the restriction so that you're free from trouble.
1632  Economy / Economics / Re: What if Russia economy grows higher after the war on: March 04, 2022, 05:53:10 PM
Their economy has fallen badly, and reviving an economy that has fallen this bad is usually a really difficult thing.
But, I am not trying to say that this is not possible, yes it can be possible, but it’s going to require a lot of hard work to be able to revive this economy that has fallen to this extent.

And another thing you have to know again is that they have marred their relationship with so many other countries , and I don’t think they will be able to build their economy alone. They will have to be steady exporting and be in good relationship with other countries, that’s what will help them build their economy back up.
1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Impact of Ukrain Bitcoin Donation and Support. on: March 04, 2022, 02:55:34 PM
Not sure that I would call it adoption but it surely gave Bitcoin A LOT of publicity in terms of being a currency/asset that requires zero permission. It's just unfortunate that a lot of people had to realize it only when in times like this — like they had to literally see it with their own eyes instead of just realizing it through studying it.
It should confidently be called an adoption. A government cannot officially release an address for donation for what they did not adopt. The adoption must not necessarily follow due process. Perilous times necessitates innovation. So, no matter the process of adoption, it is an adoption. A government that has received help from cryptocurrency can never, I repeat, can never have the guts to punish her citizens for involving in crypto.
I am not sure about what is the exact status of bitcoin in Ukraine whether it is it legal or not. If it is not legal yet, I think they can still make a temporary exemption to bitcoin only to receive donations because they badly need it and the majority is requesting for it to be used as a medium because banks, fiats or other forms of payment methods are not yet available or complicated for now to use but if ever btc in Ukraine legal before, then we cant consider the recent event as an adoption but it is more of a publication.

Everyone will be aware of btc but there is no guarantee that they will now use it or adopt it. Those who donate are already been a btc user ever since before.
1634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin evangelist Michael Saylor says crypto regulations would speed adoption on: March 04, 2022, 01:40:23 PM
Although, I believe the crypto regulation will speed adoption and recognition but in the article link you share I wonder why the writer says regulation will prevent market manipulation which is totally wrong. Besides, he also stated it will make people understand the risk when almost all crypto exchange sites provide a popup notification to every new account register on their platform about the risk involve in crypto trading.
Where are we really heading to? We all used to boast of how Bitcoin is a currency that was created for our freedom and how we can now be able to do most things and be free from the government, but now you people are talking about needing government regulation, doesn’t that defeat the main purpose as to which Bitcoin was created for? How exactly would having government regulate the market be able to reduce the risk and increase adoption?

If the government starts regulating the crypto market, it doesn’t change anything for the better, rather things might even get worse. Anyways, what did I know? I would just stay and watch where the market is heading to.
1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Sandbox will likely recover? on: March 03, 2022, 08:53:46 PM
Honestly the top was above 8 bucks, and that is A LOT of money involved, that is really not looking like a likely thing right now. But the real trouble is that even while we are recovering, it is not recovering at all and that is scary for any holders out there.

I never owned any so I can't say much, but 25%+ increase just on BTC whereas 10% increase on SAND doesn't look all that well. I mean surely it could recover even better but it looks like it is going to take some time. I hope that people would recover their losses eventually but I am not entirely sure if it will be that easy or not. Lets see how it will react when the market skyrockets again, like how bitcoin doubles in price and all, if we reach those days then we need to keep a close eye to this.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How will Coinmarketcap look in 2025? on: March 03, 2022, 11:48:20 AM
People who are expecting weird stuff like this never make sense. They always pick the coin that they love as well and not like some other thing that is not even around. We are in 2022, anything could be big in 2025, it could even become by this logic as well. Don't look at me, I believe btc will be first and eth will be second and that will not change.

But by this logic, where Avax is first, then anything could become first and 3 years is long enough time. ADA got created in 2017 or something at first, then they worked on it and built something that resulted with third rank at some point, so that shows you 3 years is more than enough to go high. Something that gets a release today, could be in top 10 after 3 years easily. I doubt anything will go above bitcoin, but it could be in top 10 for sure.
1637  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Southampton FC Main Sponsor 🚀🚀 on: March 02, 2022, 05:56:08 PM
I would guess that all of the LFC fans here (how did we ended up with mostly lfc fans here Cheesy.) must be shaking. I mean it is definitely not an everyday thing to see every single goal scored for 20+ penalties until the very last one. Sure it can go that further, that part is not unique, I have seen it plenty of times.

However, did not see people not missing a single penalty for 20+ times in a row combined from both sides. I really hope that we could get "some" sponsorship with Liverpool one day. Obviously they must cost a lot and that is understandable, no need to spend too much money that sportsbet.io doesn't have. But it doesn't need to be jersey, just tiny thing, like see it somewhere, would be awesome.
1638  Economy / Economics / Re: Donate to Ukraine on: March 02, 2022, 03:28:24 PM
"Only in the last two days, a donation in cryptocurrency worth 12.5 million dollars has been collected for the armed forces of Ukraine," Mikhail Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, reports https://t.me/zedigital/1171 Most enumerate: ETH - $5.5 million, BTC - $4.4 million and USDT - $2.1 million.

Everyone can make a donation, but if you think that this is not your war, just ignore this thread.
That's awesome, crypto isn't a fan of war and I am happy that I'm part of it. The only downside to this is cryptocurrency is a tool that both sides can utilize and we all know how that works with Russia too, I am pretty sure that they're allies will do the same which might help them with hindering the effects of economic sanctions that's been imposed on them.
Crypto isn't a fan of war? Huh, what do you exactly mean by this? Obviously crypto cant do that because it's not a person or maybe what you mean to say is crypto got involved in the issue because it's now being used as a medium. Just because you use a crypto, it still doesn't mean that you are also involved in the issue unless if you are  going to donate some of your cryptos on the address that you can see above.

Let them be if Russia will use crypto but isn't it great for the crypto? More adoption is going to happen if every country thinks the same thing but no they don't fully escape the effects of the sanctions but there are still things that cant be avoided even if they already use a crypto.
1639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade cryptocurrencies? on: March 02, 2022, 01:06:56 PM
There are lots of websites that you can learn how to trade cryptocurrency and even videos on YouTube that can as well teach you all that, many of them! It all depends on what you learn and no matter the type of trading that you want to learn, there are always so many places that you get the knowledge.

It’s good to also check out several other websites too that you can through Google, you never know what you may see that might be helpful to you tomorrow when you’re trading. Learning never stops, just keep on doing your research and you will be getting better at it with time. And also learn to have patience and work on your strategies until they are really good.
1640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding or swing trading on: March 02, 2022, 03:24:11 AM
Swing trading is good, Holding is also good. But not all of us can afford to have the level of patience that it is going to take us to be able to make a good amount of profit from being a HODL’er in the market. People that I have seen that were able to realize huge profit were those that held for a very long time especially before a halving and the price went up and once it reached what seems to be the peak they decide to sell.

I have been able to do this though, but the level of patience is not easy, depending on when you started though; if you’re starting prior to the market experiencing a correction, then you might have to wait longer. Swing trading , you can be making profit at anytime. It’s all about choice and if you can do swing trading.
