We recently learnt that some RNGs or their APIs are not completely safe. Unless JD is using a physical RNG thats also a possible point of failure.
Except a physical RNG is not provably fair for the gambler. Well I don't know the implementation of JD, but shouldn't it the possible to use the output of a PRNG to make a fair system? https://just-dice.com/lucky.txtYou can prove this is the code because if you run the server seed, client seed and nonce it comes out exactly the same.

Ken, have you thought in doing a AMA on reddit?
I think you would be the first mining company doing one. No fears.
A AMA will be good once we hash. At the moment every Active Mining post on reddit gets destroyed.

I think this deserves a praise, first time they didn't miss a deadline in the last days.. +1

Thanks for the explanation molecular.

What is Labcoin's bitcoin address again?

SHA512 is secure, all these posts are just FUD. No attacks have been proven against SHA512 or even SHA256.
Only tweaking 1 bit in the input to SHA would still give a completely different output - that's the point of a hashing algorithm!
I find it quite funny that there's all these posts from people saying how they think they have found 'patterns' of high high low low or whatever, then they end their post with 'but I'm not a mathematician'.
Believe me, if SHA512 or SHA256 were broken, we would know about it - firstly the entire TLS/SSL CA infrastructure would collapse..
Will
And Bitcoins proof of work too right?

Is there a delay before it shows up in our wallets?
Mine showed up right away (in my BTCT Wallet) Actually I see my balance on the top of the website, but when I go inside the wallet tab it says 0BTC, does the wallet only show in 1BTC increments how do i withdraw? Click the little refresh button near deposit balance.

Maybe a tried-and-true PRNG could be used seeded with sha256(server_seed || ":" || user_seed) or whatever) instead of that nonce-postfix-thingy that is implemented, which only changes a couple of bits (down to only one bit rougly every second time) of the sha256 input between rolls. I'm not saying this is a flawed approach (I clearly do not know this), just that it's impossible for me to be sure it's not (partly) predictable.
If this is the case, wouldn't the entire proof of work for Bitcoin be compromised? Bitcoin = SHA256(SHA256) JD = HMAC-SHA512(sever seed, client seed, nonce) They both use the SHA family right?

Before the FUDsters that sold before the dividend come out of the woodwork, lets just take one bit of information and let it sink in.
Already the dividend is 147 satoshi, this is the lowest dividend you will ever receive as hash rate will expand faster than the network from here on out.
Let the good times come!

unfortunately the share Price is lower than Act.Mining^^
Won't be for long!

They are already paying a higher dividend than Active Mining. This is amazing.

I just sent Prendergast123 a PM. They have not been online recent enough to see what's going on. I am sure they will see the situation and move to either Havelock or Bitfunder.

I cannot even imagine having that much money, much less to gamble with.
Considering a pizza was once sold for 10,000BTC, your perspective of 'that much money' may be completely different if you started mining in 2010. We don't know if Nakowa is playing with BTC that were acquired when each cost $1, or $100. One thing is for sure. Gamblers rarely know when to quit and it's quite likely all those winnings and more will be returning to Just Dice in due course. I recall somewhere that Nakowa was into bitcoin 2011, so early adopter.

Just send my shares to AMCTENDER1. Hope they arrive at BitFunder.com soon I have been waiting a while, I hope mine get transferred before the dividend tomorrow.

Is there any real argument against bitfunder? It is a no brainer to list there.
Ukyo said bitfunder has very strict rule in selecting asset. So it is not like where to list is completely decided by the issuer. Labcoin will bring high volume, but in the same time a high risk. Ukyo has spent more on lawyers than he has made from his site, and if Labcoin was the catalyst for BTCT.co closing down I am sure Ukyo might think twice. In my opinion Ukyo has nothing to worry about, Labcoin have proven themselves trustworthy. When did they prove themselves trustworthy? They are hashing on BTC-Guild.

If I used your service I would have paid over 5 bitcoin in withdrawal fees (Based on input/output at btct.co) compared to standard transaction fees that btct.co uses.
Why are you charging so much for a service the Bitcoin network is providing?
