2581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: January 26, 2022, 11:44:03 AM
I'm actually not sticking with one particular gaming site since there are so many casino offer various promotions which cam entertain me, but what I consider to choose a casino is first their reputation, type of games they offer and bonuses or others is just a bonus since what's important to me is they are good platform which we know they will not scam people by selective scamming which is happening on other casino.
It's one of the factor that I choose, the reputation.

That plays a big part for the option of every gambler. The reason why someone sticks to a dice site, to a sportsbook or a casino because of it. Aside from that, the feeling of being given the importance as a customer is also making us feel the need to stay on it.

Because of that experience, we're thinking that we're being taken care of which is one of the best feelings that we want as a gambler.
2582  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Alarming rate of crime among youth. on: January 26, 2022, 09:52:50 AM
Education starts at home. The reason why some youths are going with the wrong way is because they probably don't have a guardian to guide them. Most parents regardless from which country they come from, if they're employed, they really have lesser time to spend with their children. But some says, that it's all about time management.

And another factor that impacts the youth are their surroundings, the neighborhood. Well, in places that it seems forgotten by the government, crime rates are increasing and they're all influenced by the people there. That's why engaging in illegal activities and having thoughts of going through with rich quick scheme is seems to be the only way to get out there.

It all boils down to education and by teaching them what are the wrongdoings that they should avoid. But sadly, there are those that have grown without guardians and their relatives are the ones that took care of them. And until they grow up, after experiencing all of the misfortunes of life, they realize it too late that they have to change.

Home training is very important for children,  if a child lack good home training that child can be a problem to the society in the future. Also the major problem for crime alarming in our society could be the cause of government than the lack of home training from parents at home. When a youth is idle , not having any job, all is thought all the time is to commit crime.
There are many factors but as I've said all things are starting from home. If the parents or the guardians are responsible enough to teach their children good ways, they won't be going with the wrong way as they grow old. But it's also a sad reality that despite the good teachings of the parents, there are children that want to go with the other paths that they've been told not to and that's due to curiosity.

Well, that playful mind of these kids as they grow to teenagers, that's making them do things that shouldn't until they just get used to it and doing bad things makes them think that it's totally fine since no one is trying to stop them and they're old enough in their perspective along with the people that influences them, mostly friends.

The government also plays a part for it, depending on the rule for these teenagers that have committed crimes. But I know each government has a program to correct these young ones from their wrongdoings.
2583  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: January 26, 2022, 01:41:29 AM
Another opportunity has created for new investors to have some good coins listed in their portfolio. Many who bought higher now leave at the mercy of the market but for those who were scared of how high the price flew within a short time now has a better chance of joining the market at a good market value.

My agitation now is no one should come back shouting about missed opportunity in the future I think since late last year the market has been a bit fair to new investors giving them opportunity to join the train.
Can't blame them if they speak with the same words about missing the opportunity. It's always the same feedback that you'll hear from new investors and as well as old ones.

Everyone can be a millionaire in crypto attitude towards market volatility is what makes the clear difference
But I'll remove the mindset about being a millionaire in this market. It could lead someone to become a victim of those ponzi schemes and other scams that they might not be aware of for which they think will lead them to being prosperous.

You can be well in this market if you know how to deal with it and you know what you're doing. We all want to become a millionaire but for a newbie's perspective, there's something more than that and they think that it's achievable within a short period of time which leadeth them to do mistakes.
2584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is El Salvador in debt because of the bitcoin price drop? on: January 26, 2022, 12:39:24 AM
There are people of them that are against to the continuous buying of their president. But they're like Microstrategy that does it whenever the market is plunging and they think that it's the right time to buy. They won't just buy bitcoin within a short term plan that they have.

It's the same for these retail companies that they know what they're up to and that's not just for the short term. I'm not sure about the debt but if the price of bitcoin gets lower and they've bought it at a higher price, that's not debt, that's paper loss.
2585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On which esports you place bets on: January 25, 2022, 10:32:38 PM
When it comes to ESports betting, everything should be listed for more options, not just DOTA II or CSGO.
To give him more idea which esports are popular these days and which are likely in the bookies, this site will help him out.

https://liquipedia.net/

A variety of esports are listed there and it includes the tournaments and other data that he needs. It also has the database of players for all of those esports, note, almost all of the players there are or have been in the pro scene of that esports.

I agree. I don't see yet a betting platform where only few sports or events are covered. Most crypto-sportbooks almost covering all available events regardless of what games is it. OP should rely the information on his client.

Few options might not attract other bettors on his client's platform.
Really depends to the reason why they're doing this. But with their data gathering through this thread, they'll see that it's all about Dota 2 and CSGO that's being said by the majority.

And the link that I've given is going to give them the idea that there are other esports that they should also consider, maybe the demand won't be the same as the two.

But they're going to give the option for their bettors as there are bookies that lists the other games that can be seen on that link.
2586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is back? on: January 25, 2022, 12:32:03 PM
It is very difficult to predict this at this stage. We see increases in Bitcoin and indirectly altcoin prices, but i think it is too early to interpret that the bull season may have started again just because of these increases. That's why i think we should continue to follow the market a little more before coming to such definitive conclusions.
I reckon.

Too early but it is for good that we see bitcoin recovers. We may not wholly consider it as the bull run but what makes us look positive at it because it's recovery just after the big correction that has happened.

I like it to see bitcoin going slowly going up and its recovery is still quick as before. But whether many says that bear market is about to come, I'll remain bullish long term.
2587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Discord Channel? on: January 25, 2022, 09:35:17 AM
hi,

m looking for a platform where i can get all mineable upcoming coin details. Pls guide thanks.
I don't know if there's a discord channel, maybe there is but I've got no information about that. This question can simply search the answer through Google.

These are the two websites that popped up after asking the keywords that you're looking.

https://www.advfn.com/cryptocurrency/coins/mineable

https://www.coinlore.com/mineable-coins

And about the "upcoming" coin details, I think the best idea is to check the newly listed coins on coinmarketcap and coingecko and check if they're PoW.

I don't think that there's a need to delete your wallet but if that works for you to avoid stress during this correction then do it.

But it's simple and the same by not looking at your wallets. I know it's hard to avoid doing it because you're keeping close monitoring for the gains and losses that you're making today.

Just use this moment as inspiration that you're going to thrive and in the future, this investment that you're avoiding to look at will definitely going to be fruitful.
2591  Economy / Economics / Re: What If? on: January 24, 2022, 09:31:15 PM
They'll seek help from China as it's now one of the big countries that can help them to improve their economy. But knowing that this is Russia having sanctions, I think that they can handle it alone, they're also a large country that has resources and they won't stop since they're also competing against the USA.

Turkey stopped the connection to the USA and USA has given them the impact that they don't like. Maybe similar can happen to their economy but we don't know yet exactly how it will go until we see it.
2592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What michael saylor will do? on: January 24, 2022, 08:20:37 PM
In the worst case scenario if history repeats again and BTC crash to $20k then what could be Michael Saylor action? He will be able to remain steadfast in his goal?
You've quoted what he said and if he's true to it then there's nothing that he's going to do but to keep buying. It's even ideal to him if they're holders because of the lower price and that's going to be easier for them to have more.

If his goal for bitcoin is long term as his company holds it. Then so be it and that's the plan that he's been telling us, so no matter how low this cycle would be. Expect him, his company to buy more and maybe in batches again.
2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 23, 2022, 10:41:22 PM
I'm with Magsayo to win, of course, but you have to watch the full fight. Clearly, Russell is fighting not in 100% because of that injury aside from the weight problem. But like I mentioned, even with Russell at 100%, Magsayo still has the chance to beat him. It's just that we didn't see GRJ's side fighting at 100% but no one to blame there. Magsayo worked hard on that win and now achieved his target, to become a World Champion.
I've noticed that but the show must go on for him. And to say, Magsayo did well on this match and he deserves the belt that he has right now. There's no reasoning that because of this and that, he lost and the other wins.

We're all acknowledging that this is a total win for Magsayo. He's now a world champ and he's happy to get that belt and feeling at the top of the world right now. Any opinions who's he going to match next or there are already rumors of matching him with a possible challenger?
2594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are all the bitcoin's Moon boys ? on: January 23, 2022, 09:40:47 PM
Every time the market is green, we see a lot of youtube and social media influencers come out to guide people and to predict the targets for bitcoin and altcoins. But as the market dumps, we see no sign of these moon boys. Why don't they come to advise us in the these times.
Maybe they are unable to face the public because they have given too much unrealistic hopim to the people ?
It's okay if they don't come out when the market is not looking good. It's not really a matter if they face or not and we know that if we're talking about social media personalities that are making contents about cryptocurrencies.

They're on it for the content. And that's why they're just talking just to make the use of their time for the contents that they make. Anyway, it's always like this, when the market is in bull run, everybody loves cryptocurrencies and when it's not, it's the opposite.

Because when the market is bullish like the previous year where the Bitcoin price almost reached $70k, many people are interested in talking about it
and it is easier to attract ordinary people to like cryptocurrencies. Because it must be admitted that most people really panic and stress if a bear
market occurs like now, and it's usually better to talk about other things and do other activities to forget for a moment what's happening in
the crypto market right now. So that's probably the reason social media influencers choose not to create content about the bearish trend,
because not many people will be interested in crypto when it is bearish, because the main goal of influencers is usually to attract people to invest
in crypto. Creating content about bearish trends only makes people more afraid to invest in crypto, so not many influencers want to create content
about the bearish trend. In fact, if we study crypto well, the bearish trend is a good opportunity to buy crypto.  That's another reason why more
newbies end up buying crypto at peak prices.  Because most ordinary people are interested in investing in crypto when influencers tell positive things
about crypto only.
It's the same like in 2017, when the market is bullish, everyone gets excited and interested for bitcoin because they smell money. But it's a wrong strategy for them to get in when the peak is there.

They should make themselves a plan if they want to invest to bitcoin. It should be during the price falls and not only when it's going up in the sky high.

They're making a huge mistake from doing that and that results to a wrong decision which makes them hate the market because they're losing.
2595  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under $39k, what's next? on: January 23, 2022, 10:42:39 AM
Bitcoin is now under $39k as the reliable support level of $40k has failed so what's next? Where will this lead us to?
Nobody knows but for some technical analysis that I've seen, going up is what's the possible next move of it.
that's really true, the biggest possibility that will happen is the price of bitcoin that will go up...

we just have to wait for news of investors buying back bitcoin in large quantities to pump up the price again.
Well, it's the other side of the dump and we're really going to see it coming soon after this drop that we've seen recently.

Even there's news, it's the normal process of the market and whenever it goes down then for sure that we're going to see it starting going up. That's the time that it will recover and buyers are going to start buying which will create a demand that shall make the price higher.

Bitcoin hasn't scored a new ATH this year so there's still a huge opportunity for bitcoin to do that.
What do you expect? 2022 is still at the very beginning of its months.
2596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com no fee on trades? on: January 23, 2022, 08:58:12 AM
I read somewhere that crypto.com haulted all the withdrawals so probably they are compensating with that by offering 0% commission for the trades?
I don't think it's the compensation for the halting of withdrawals as they've already refunded those and OP said that he's been doing a 0% fee for the past month, but I think if they do that, it's not a big loss for them to compensate those affected users.

There is 0% withdrawal and trading fee if I hold their coin? Where does it say this?
It's on the fees limits link, you should see how much discount you have depending on how much cro you hold/staking.

So if I buy $100,00 BTC on Crypto.com app, there is 0% commission fee?
How many cro do you hold? There goes the level on that link shared about how much discount per trade you make.

It's been three months since you posted here and your post is very timely in addressing the issue of casinos being offline but can you address the condition of Lightlord is he still ok will he be back this year and how about the campaign on the two casinos, is there a possibility of the two campaigns continuing, with so many casinos coming in both Bitvest and 777Coin should continue to establish their hold and share in the market.
The issue has been addressed by him and I think that's really the thing he needs to say.

About the campaign, their main concern is to operate and maintain the casinos that they have and since this is bitvest, that's the main thing in here.

Everyone is interested of knowing the answer for your questions but if he doesn't address that, there's no problem for it and just think that they're good as ended since these companies are already popular.
2599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under $39k, what's next? on: January 22, 2022, 09:53:18 AM
I remember when bitcoin was trading around $48k to $50k then we had a sudden dip of over 20% wherein again bitcoin gained it's momentum within 1 or 3 days and back at $46k and then it gradually started dropping down to $40k and I feel same thing is happening now wherein there is a dump and bitcoin will gain momentum but again it will gradually drop else it might take a pump hard on its way to $50k. What's are you thoughts on this?
Is this when it has reached $28k last year and then eventually recovered back until we've reached close to $70k? We don't know if the same logical pattern is happening or we're just really going through the entering of the bear market.

Either of them, we have to hold and if you see this as a good buy, you do it while the price are lower these times.

I was referring to the dump which took place around first week of December for a day wherein bitcoin's price dropped from around $51k to $42k and recovered back above $50k within two days.

Yes we cannot be sure if the same logical pattern will repeat or there would be something different this time but we have to remember one thing that regardless of dump bitcoin will recover and go past its previous ATH like it did last year after a gap of 3 years but the problem her wish not everyone are long term Hodlers so most of us cannot survive for longer period if the 2018 bear run repeat though the possibilities are very low. Next few days would be crucial and mould the market.
Oh yeah, that time.

It's the nature of bitcoin that it recovers quickly after the dump. It happened for so many times and that's why whenever there's a dump like this, I'm still positive that it will eventually get back.

And even we have to see the market on the bear season and if the cycle goes on by this time and this dip would go further. We have to ready ourselves for another application of our patience in the market.
2600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gas Fee is too High? on: January 22, 2022, 08:12:14 AM
It's been so long that the gas fee for Ethereum is totally outrageous. If you're transacting just like $10-$20, I don't think that it's worth to pay the gas fee.

But if you're dealing with $100, I guess that you can handle the expensiveness of the fee. And to answer that question of yours, it's on Ethereum's website.

WHY CAN GAS FEES GET SO HIGH?

High gas fees are due to the popularity of Ethereum. Performing any operation on Ethereum requires consuming gas, and gas space is limited per block. Fees include calculations, storing or manipulating data, or transferring tokens, consuming different amounts of "gas" units. As dapp functionality grows more complex, the number of operations a smart contract performs also grows, meaning each transaction takes up more space of a limited size block. If there's too much demand, users must offer a higher tip amount to try and outbid other users' transactions. A higher tip can make it more likely that your transaction will get into the next block.

Gas price alone does not actually determine how much we have to pay for a particular transaction. To calculate the transaction fee, we have to multiply the gas used by the transaction fee, which is measured in gwei.
