2581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is not Practical on: July 15, 2023, 06:46:02 PM
I have heard the advice that you should only use money you can afford to lose for gambling. I say that this is more theoretical than practical.

No, this advice is practical because it clearly says that one should only use the amount of money in gambling which doesn't impact his/her life in any way possible. For example someone who earns $1000 dollars per month if uses $10 for gambling then even with a loss the person still won't be affected in any adverse way, on the other hand if someone who earns $1000 per months and spends $500 for gambling then his/her life will be affected in the worse way if they lose that amount of money.

In the later case use person would hardly be able to meet his/her expenses of the month while in the first case the person won't be affected at all and he/she can still enjoy the month despite losing the money in gambling because $10 is a very small amount for someone who earns $1000 per month while $500 if 50% of the money of someone who earns $1000 per month and that's why the ones who losses $500 in a bet would hardly be able to fulfill the needs of the month and he/she has to borrow money from others in order to fulfill their needs of that particular month.

People are slowly starting to rely heavily on technology. In the coming days, this human-made AI will help him in almost every level. But we may all agree that since humans created AI, no AI can surpass its intelligence. If there is a competition, it must be between AI and AI. With the passage of time, AI has undergone major changes. What we have to accept is that no matter how powerful AI is, it is controlled by humans. Moreover, this AI is also made differently for the benefit of different tasks of people. As people's thinking power is developing, technology is also improving. Many of the imaginary scenes we see in movies today will be implemented by AI in the future.
Yes, that will happen in the future because, with the development of AI, it can help almost all human needs and work. It is only a matter of time until AI technology can reach the stage humans desire so that AI can assist human activities in various aspects. But I think that in the future, this AI will be able to run independently without being controlled by humans so that artificial intelligence can develop simultaneously. I'm just a little worried that AI can have its own will later, like what we see in these fictional films, because AI might colonize humans.
Artificial intelligence has no will of its own, it only performs tasks and makes decisions based on its code. I think that artificial intelligence cannot have its own will because it is limited by a code that is designed and controlled by humans, it has no consciousness or emotion like humans.

It's true that Artificial Intelligence has no will of its own, but the programmer codes it in a way that it gets its own neurons in the form of code. The AI is also a piece of software, but over time its tries like humans and learns many patterns of a game or any other task, and if the programmer has implemented reinforce learning into it then it will also learn the things by rewarding or punishing itself. In that sense it learns the things better than most humans, and another best thing about it is that it doesn't take a lot of time to recreate that responses which it has learned.

Although, all of the AI software is limited by code, but it still learns way more things then the code allows it. It learns from datasets or real-time learning with the help of training that takes some time for completion. It's a useful thing, but if someone misuses it then it could lead to spamming and many other negative things.
2583  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: July 15, 2023, 10:45:57 AM
There's a saying that where there's no risk there's no reward, and betting involves taking risks to predict the out come of an upcoming event, which I think shouldn't be considered a waste, because in the world of gambling it either you win or loss, for instance no one knows the future it's either there are speculations or people predict about it so if there predictions didn't come out through does that mean It should be considered a waste? The answer is No.

In the world of gambling where there's betting and predictions involved everyone opion is valid and you're allowed to be either for or against a particular outcome and the whether outcomes are good or bad you're a accountable for it, but that shouldn't be considered a waste because you know the risk involved in it before taking actions, moreover nobody is %100 perfect you win and loss in betting and also learn from your lose as well

Betting and predictions may be part of gambling or other forms of entertainment. Some people may take pleasure in predicting outcomes or taking risks. For some people it may be the way to possible winnings and profits.
Everyone has their own approach to risk, but it is important to set limits and control their actions to minimize potential negative impacts.

Yeah, betting and its predictions is always the part of gambling and it would always be a valuable option for the gamblers because they enjoy betting and that's why it's the best form of entertainment for them. However, overdoing anything isn't good for someone's health and if a gambler does unconscious betting just for the sake of entertainment then he/she has to face losses during those bets.

Of course,  good bets are always rewarding in the form of profits while the bad bets will make someone to lose money without any doubt. It depends on the mind of the gamblers as well as on their luck because careful and lucky gambler often tend to win a lot of money in gambling while the unlucky ones are known to lose most of the bet because of their luck only.

It's always advisable to minimize the risk of losing huge sums of money in gambling, and in that situation the best option for such gamblers is to have a daily limit on the number of bets. A user who limits his/her bets to 2 to 4 bets per day would be considered a good gambler then the ones who does more than 50 bets a day.
2584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 15, 2023, 10:35:29 AM
The biggest factor that op failed to mention is willpower. If you are someone with strong willpower, you will definitely overcome gambling addiction no matter what based on my research.

However, if you are someone with weak willpower, it will be very, very difficult to overcome such addictions though it isn't impossible or anything.

The will power is truly an important factor in continuing to letting go of an addiction, but still those people who in spite of having enough will power won't be able to let go of he gambling addiction because they are somehow wired in a way that gambling is the only possible entertainment in their lives. The people who play online multiplayer games often have same levels of addictions like those gamblers and they are also not able to give up on their gameplays even if their will power is strong.

I think your relations matter more than your will power to let go of an addiction. If someone that you truly love in your life makes you emotional in a way that his/her words touch the inner core of your heart which really makes you feel that you're not doing a good thing, and because of that your loved one is getting hurt. Only that emotion can stop some addict to give up on the addiction otherwise, addicted people will never let go of their addictions.
2585  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Advantages of Bitcoin Casinos vs. Traditional Casinos on: July 15, 2023, 10:28:03 AM
Advantage of playing in bitcoin casino is also that you are sure of no third party interference in your transfers, all you need is the address of the casino but traditional casinos sometimes you could recheck why your deposit is not credited because of that level of human involvement. Some traditional casinos agent are so lazy that they may forget to credit you after you have made deposit to them. You have to go there at times to remind them if you have not seen the deposit alert and sometimes it takes days to rectify some payment if there are payment reflection issues.
There are many advantages in terms of bitcoin and a casino that has to do with bitcoin, and the best thing is that you can have some privacy if the casino allows it, KYC is a subject that also gives a lot to talk about, the bad This is why when bitcoin has very sudden changes, such as it goes up a lot, things get ugly when it comes to withdrawing because I imagine that these casinos are not going to assume the fees, and players like to withdraw with almost 100% of their money, not that they are take away from what you have won, because I have seen that some players complain a lot because they make the minimum to withdraw, but because of the fee they play a little more and sometimes they lose everything.
I don't see why casinos are to be blamed for that, a gambler who also knows about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies should also understand that they need to pay fees if they want to make a transaction because the transaction has to be confirmed and that is done by machines run by people and they need payment too, so expecting they can withdraw the minimum amount required without having to pay any fees is out of my mind, to be honest.

One should either not gamble with Bitcoin or if they do, they should understand that they will have to pay the fees and if the price of Bitcoin goes up, the fees might look higher for them but they are compelled to pay it because the platform won't pay the transaction fees for their winnings.

That's true it's the choice of the gambler to Bitcoin if he/she wants to gamble without any worries as we all know that Bitcoin is the safest payment option that any casino offers. A transactions has to be added by miners in a block and that's why it's necessary to pay those fees during the time of withdrawal, and I'm quite sure that each safe payment requires some kind of fees so there is nothing wrong with those fees if privacy is your main concern.

It's always preferable to go with Bitcoin if you value the decentralization and the privacy the most. However, one can also go with other payment options if they are not so much in decentralization and they doesn't really care much about their privacy. The platforms doesn't have their own payment systems and that's why the user has to pay the fees of transactions. If someone choses another payment option then still the user has to pay the fees of the transaction.

In the world of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin stands as a pioneer, revolutionizing the way we perceive and transact with digital assets. Bitcoin addresses, typically composed of random characters, serve as identifiers for sending and receiving funds. However, the advent of vanity Bitcoin address generators has allowed users to create customized addresses that align with their personal or brand identity. This article explores the process, benefits, security considerations, and practical applications of vanity Bitcoin addresses.

1. Vanity Bitcoin Address Generation Process:
To generate a vanity Bitcoin address, a computationally intensive process called brute-forcing is employed. This involves systematically searching for addresses that match a desired pattern. The complexity of the pattern or the desired word determines the time and computational resources required to find a matching address. While the process is resource-intensive, it ensures the uniqueness and functionality of the resulting vanity addresses.

2. Purpose and Benefits of Vanity Bitcoin Addresses:
2.1 Personalization:
Vanity Bitcoin addresses allow individuals to personalize their transactions by incorporating specific patterns or words that hold personal significance. For example, one could create an address that contains their name, birthdate, or a meaningful word, making it easier to remember and associate with their identity.

2.2 Branding and Marketing:
Businesses can leverage vanity addresses as a powerful branding tool. By incorporating their brand name or relevant keywords into the address, companies enhance recognition and reinforce their brand image. Vanity addresses can be utilized in marketing campaigns, website URLs, or social media profiles, thereby increasing user engagement and trust.

2.3 Memorability:
The human mind is more inclined to remember words or patterns that hold personal significance. Vanity addresses capitalize on this aspect by providing users with addresses that are easier to recall and share accurately, reducing the risk of errors in transactions.

3. Security and Privacy Considerations:

3.1 Address Generation Trustworthiness:
It is crucial to exercise caution when selecting a vanity address generator. Users should rely on reputable and trusted software to generate their vanity addresses. This mitigates the risk of falling victim to scams or compromising the security of their Bitcoin funds.

3.2 Private Key Management:
Regardless of the type of Bitcoin address used, proper private key management is essential. Vanity addresses do not offer additional security or privacy benefits over regular addresses. Users must follow best practices for securing their private keys and employ reputable wallet software to safeguard their funds.

3.3 Public Perception:
While vanity addresses themselves do not pose inherent security risks, public perception may vary. Some may perceive vanity addresses as potentially more vulnerable to attacks or targeting by malicious actors. It is essential to educate users about the underlying security principles and dispel any misconceptions associated with vanity addresses.

4. Practical Use Cases:

4.1 Personal Use:
Individuals can benefit from vanity addresses by creating addresses that resonate with their personal identity. This could include addresses containing their name, nickname, or any word of significance to them. Vanity addresses enhance personalization and can be used for personal transactions or sharing funds with friends and family.

4.2 Business Applications:
Businesses can leverage vanity addresses in various ways. They can create addresses specifically for receiving donations, which can be prominently displayed on websites or in fundraising campaigns. Vanity addresses can also be used to promote specific products or services, enhancing brand recognition and establishing trust among customers.

Vanity Addresses vs. Regular Bitcoin Addresses:
Vanity addresses and regular addresses share the same functionality within the Bitcoin network. The primary difference lies in the generation process and the personalized nature of vanity addresses. Generating a vanity address is more computationally intensive due to the need to search for specific patterns or words. However, both types of addresses require secure private key management to ensure the safety of funds.

Vanity Bitcoin address generators offer individuals and businesses the opportunity to personalize their Bitcoin addresses, aligning them with personal or brand identity. They provide a means to enhance recognition, brand image, and memorability. However, it is crucial to exercise caution, follow best security practices, and rely on reputable address generators to ensure the safety and integrity of Bitcoin funds. Vanity addresses are a creative and engaging way to interact with the world of cryptocurrencies while maintaining the security principles underlying Bitcoin transactions.

Thank you for sharing your experience and concerns related to vanity Bitcoin addresses and the potential risks associated with address poisoning scams. It is indeed important to be aware of such malicious activities and take precautions to safeguard against them.

Address poisoning scams, where scammers create addresses that resemble legitimate ones by having the same first and last few characters, can be deceiving. Users may inadvertently select the scammer's wallet when relying solely on the first and last characters of an address without carefully verifying the entire address.

I appreciate your suggestion regarding the inclusion of pictorial representations and understand that visual aids can be helpful, particularly for newcomers. I will certainly take your feedback into consideration for future improvements in providing visual support wherever possible. It is important to continue sharing information about the risks and benefits of vanity addresses to educate and protect users within the Bitcoin community.

Pros of Vanity Bitcoin Addresses:

Personalization: Vanity addresses allow users to add a touch of personalization to their Bitcoin transactions. By including a custom phrase or pattern, users can create a unique identifier for themselves or their business.

Branding: Vanity addresses can be an effective branding tool for individuals or organizations. By incorporating a company name or slogan into the Bitcoin address, users can reinforce their brand identity in the digital realm.

Recognition and Memorability: A vanity Bitcoin address with a catchy phrase or recognizable pattern can be more memorable for recipients. This can enhance user engagement and facilitate easier identification of incoming transactions.

Cons of Vanity Bitcoin Addresses:

Time and Resources: Generating a vanity Bitcoin address is a computationally intensive process that requires substantial computing power and time. The more complex the desired pattern, the longer it takes to generate the address. This process can be resource-consuming and may deter some users.

Privacy Concerns: Vanity addresses, by their nature, can reveal a portion of the private key during the generation process. This could potentially expose users to security risks if the process is not handled properly. Caution must be exercised to ensure the private key is adequately protected.

Is Having a Vanity Bitcoin Address a Good Idea?

The answer to this question ultimately depends on an individual's preferences, priorities, and risk appetite. While vanity Bitcoin addresses offer personalization and branding benefits, they come with potential privacy and resource consumption drawbacks. Users must carefully weigh these factors before deciding whether having a vanity address aligns with their goals.

Setting up a vanity Bitcoin address can be an intriguing endeavor, enabling users to personalize their cryptocurrency transactions and enhance brand recognition. However, it is crucial to consider the potential privacy concerns and resource consumption associated with this practice. As with any decision related to cryptocurrencies, thorough research and understanding of the risks involved are essential. Whether having a vanity Bitcoin address is a good idea or not remains a subjective choice, influenced by individual priorities and the value placed on personalization.

2587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is done! Now this is what we are left with! on: July 14, 2023, 06:40:40 PM
This thought came to my mind today.

What if there's this news that says "Bitcoin mining is over. All the Bitcoin has been mined and all the leftovers are burned. We are left with what we have in our hand"?

I know Bitcoin mining will be over one day. Many sources say that it will be over in the year 2140. So let's just imagine ourselves at that point in time and discuss how the situation will play out. That's why I am saying that it may happen today. How this will impact the whole crypto world?

  • Will we be able to see stability in Bitcoin prices? Or price dump? how will this play out?
  • Positive impact or negative impact?
  • Will people still be interested in Bitcoin?

I can not shake off this curiosity in my mind. So let's talk about that. Tell me your thoughts. What this event is going to do to the crypto world.

First of all that thing is not going to happen in our life because most of us will already be dead by 2140 because no body is yet known to live over 120+ years and that's why I think almost all of us will be resting in peace before 2140. However, if we just want to make a scenario to predict that what's going to happen if that day happens in the life of our grand-children then still that's not possible because things will be very different in 2140's, and who knows that humans will still be using this finance system or they will have moved even beyond quantum computing.

Let's still make a prediction for curiosity only, I believe that if all bitcoins are minded then things will be different in crypto market. In that time the price of a single Bitcoin would be over $10 million in value, and anyone who holds a Bitcoin would be among the richest people of the time. The value of $10 million will be of this day, and not of the time where the value of fiat would go so down that $10 would not be sufficient to buy the good that it can but now.

There won't be any miners, and that's why everyone would be able to send and receive bitcoins without any issues. There won't be any mining fees for the transactions and that's why anyone could be able to send/receive bitcoins without any  delay issues. There is a chance that the miners will live with the transaction fees because they won't be able to mine any more blocks or bitcoins. However, if the mining fee is gone then the fees of transactions could be somewhat higher than today's rates. Other than that nothing will be changed in the ecosystem of Bitcoin, and anybody would be able to use it like today's time.
2588  Other / Meta / Re: [BAN APPEAL] UID: 1047338 / 2221175 on: July 14, 2023, 06:25:59 PM
But however, is there any rule that says having multiple account prohibited in this forum?
This isn't a question about the right to have multiple accounts or not. Owning alt accounts isn't against any forum rules.
This case is about a person who had one of their forum accounts banned. A ban doesn't apply to just one account, it applies to the person operating it. That means if one of your accounts gets banned, then all of them are banned because you (the person using the accounts) are banned.

Yes, that's the correct explanation of a ban which isn't even a matter of multiple accounts. There are users on the forum having multiple account and none of them is having any issue with multiple accounts. For example of the most respectable members LoyceV is having an alt account with the name LoyceMobile, and he's using the accounts without any issue because he isn't doing anything that's against the forum rules.

There is no rule which prohibits using of alternative accounts and a user can create and use as many alt-accounts as he/she possibly can. However, if any of the accounts is banned due to rule breaking or any other activity which is strongly prohibited and disliked in this forum, then all of the accounts should stop posting on the forum unless the users creates a ban appeal and the administrators accept that appeal. If a user is still operating any of those accounts even if his/her one account is banned then the person is basically ban evading, and that's not a good act at all.

In this case the HedgeFX's alt-account P2Pfinder was banned from forum, however despite the ban the user was still using the other account without creating a ban appeal for his banned account. In this case we can also conclude that the user was somehow evading the ban. However, I have seen this user posting many good and helpful posts on the forum, and he was using the forum as a good member. He was very active in lending board and he has taken many loans from lenders and repaid with interest on time.

That's why I think a user like HedgeFX deserves a chance, like @1miausaod there are many users which have been reported for plagiarism and some of them are still using the forum without any issues. I think anyone who has been using the forum in a good manner and is helping members of the forum with his/her knowledge should be given a chance after a ban. However, the final decision is always in the hands of the administrators, and if they give this user a chance then he will be able to use the forum once again without any issue, but if they condemned the user then that's also their decision.

~snip~
The day isn't far when we will be seeing Bitcoin price above $40k or even above $50k, and those who are holding their Bitcoin will finally is rewarded for their patience. I love Bitcoin because it doesn't pumps like other shit-coins, and that's why it's far more safer than those shitty-coins.

Finally rewarded? I've been rewarded every day since 2014 when I got my first satoshi Wink

It's great to hear buddy! But, I was pointing towards those users who have been holding Bitcoin since the previous all time high accumulation. However, I'm very happy to hear that you are getting rewarded since 2014, and I'm quite sure that you, me, and others who have Bitcoin will always get rewarded till after last breath.

Right...plus, instead of thinking of what bitcoin can do for you, think of what you can do for bitcoin.

Oh man, that's what I was thinking. Bitcoin has done a lot for us and we all should do at least something for Bitcoin either in form of promoting its awareness in our communities or by contributing to the developers who are doing their best to make Bitcoin running without any issues.
2590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Former Celsius CEO Alex Mashinsky reportedly arrested on: July 14, 2023, 02:57:04 PM

Unlike these guys, CZ is not a criminal.

LOL you must be joking. In crypto, like many industries, you're only a criminal if you get caught.
Well, good you said it yourself, "you are only a criminal if you get caught", so let's wait until CZ get caught before we declare him a criminal, for now, he is just like any of us, a crypto enthusiasts doing his part in promoting the industry as well as adoption through his chains of crypto focused businesses..

Like it or not, crypto through binance (CZ) have helped hundreds of people, if not thousands, make their first ever million dollars, and still, the man and the company still going strong, though not without challenges, which is a normal thing for any business that has become big with customers worldwide.

I agree with your statements, the CZ is not yet been proven guilty for his wrongdoings and all those allegations are useless if they can't show the true evidence that could prove that CZ has really done those fishy activities. The platform basically the Binance exchange has been helping a lot of crypto users, and even newbies can use that exchange whiteout any difficulty.

I will not say that Binance is behind the growth of Bitcoin, but we still can't underestimate the role it has played for the crypto world. I'm not really sure that all those allegations against CZ are right or not, but I also believe that the guy is a Bitcoin enthusiast and a very sharp minded business man. I'm not going to favor him in anyway, but I can surely say that the Binance is a pretty useful platform for many users as of now.

2591  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GG.BET scam on: July 14, 2023, 02:50:57 PM
Almost every user is blaming that site, but the real problem is that why do these people gamble with sites that aren't trustworthy and they can run away with your money anytime without any question. The site GG.Bet has been tagged by the users of Trustpilot as a scam because out of 1,087 total reviews almost 47% of people have rated the site with 1 stars and that show clearly that the site isn't doing any good type of business, and they are following fraudulent activities.

Here is another scam accusation against time site from 2018 in which they have done same type of scam with a user who later reported their scam on the forum.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4815179.0

It's always better to read some reviews about a site before starting your gambling with that particular site which can later turn out to be a scam. It is now almost confirmed that gg.bet is a scam site and anyone who deposits money on that site could end up losing their money without any advance notification.
2592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 14, 2023, 02:39:13 PM
Saudi Professional League is moving in the right direction. During the last 2-3 months they have signed a number of quality players from various European leagues. There were a few let downs, like Messi moving to Inter Miami after rejecting the offer from Al Hilal, but in general they are moving in the right direction. And I can see that a lot of people are unhappy. Not just the management of the European clubs, but also many of the fans. I was going through the Daily Mail article regarding the move by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The comments section was full of hate filled posts by English football fans.
Even though in the end the Saudi league failed to bring in Lionel Messi, that did not dampen the intention of other European players to come to this league. Of course all European players are very tempted to get a lot of money the easy way and that is an opportunity they rarely encounter, that's why many are starting to like the Saudi league.

It is only natural that there are hateful comments about the Saudi league, especially coming from fans of Europe's top leagues, and the parties concerned are certainly very understanding of what they are doing. I think the fact that the saudi league is starting to gain popularity is indisputable from now on because this league will attract the interest of the public in a sizeable amount.
The offers with big salaries are good opportunities, the players previously played for achievement but at old age, they realize that money will meet their needs if someday they retire. The hateful comments about the Saudi league may related to players which has been proud of, especially maybe fans of some club, so it is indeed very natural because their fans want these players to stay with club which are they love.

That's a realty because now players are more attracted towards money instead of fame because in the end the only thing that can be useful in life is going to be money not the fame. Lionel Messi has taken a very mediocre step by not joining Saudi League because if he had joined it then he could also earn huge sums of money without much effort. Other than money they Saudi people also take care of their players by providing them all the protocol and facilities that one can only dream of. The players like Ronaldo are enjoying their gameplay in Saudi League and they are earning enough money to enjoy their lives after retirement.

After analyzing the chart of Bitcoin in depth and applied some technical indicators, I found that Bitcoin is soon going to see the light of the day when its price is going to touch $37k, and I'm quite sure that it will cross that range also very soon. Ah, while Bitcoin is getting steady price correction the XRP broke its limits by getting up to 1.7x or even more since last week.

If a coin like XRP can go to that high levels in price then think about Bitcoin.

Former Celsius CEO Alex Mashinsky reportedly arrested
https://cointelegraph.com/news/celsius-ceo-alex-mashinsky-arrested

There are a few topics about Celsius and this PoS but I think that if the reports are confirmed, we need a topic for the celebration

Quote
The former CEO of now-bankrupt crypto lender Celsius, Alex Mashinsky, was reportedly arrested on the morning of July 13. The news broke minutes after the United States Securities and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit against the crypto lender on the same day.

The former CEO was reportedly arrested after a probe into the company’s collapse, reported Bloomberg citing people familiar with the matter. The US Department of Justice indicted Mashinsky on charges of fraud and intention to manipulate the market.

Bloomberg source (might be paywalled)
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-07-13/sec-files-lawsuit-against-celsius-network-alex-mashinsky

Now, with a bit of luck, taking into account Celsius collapsed in June and FTX in November, then in a few months we might have another good piece of news.
So Mashinsky down, Do Kwon arrested, SBF close to prison time, when CZ?  Grin

All scammers!
And to be honest, none of these people are in prison yet. Do Kwon and SBF are vacationing in good homes and if they start talking we will learn a lot of interesting facts about fraud and bribery, so these cases will last a very long time until they are forgotten.

Very true indeed! They all are known for their scams and still no body is going to do anything against them. They are enjoying their lives even after destroying the lives of many innocent users which invested their money into those shady businesses.

Tera Luna was the worst disaster of the year and that dam thing caused huge liquidations within a week only. Do Kwon should be charged with so sanctions but still no good action against that culprit. The system is known to punish poor people only and the ones with huge sums of black money will never be punished.

Hello,

I just launched my new website. https://www.l0tt0.com

The project has instant games with a unique take on where the winning numbers come from . They're taken from the last decimals of Bitcoin's USD price. We source our price information from two esteemed platforms, CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap. We have custom API's which deliver us updates every 10 seconds. We call one, sleep 5, then call the other. each is added with the last and divided by two. Thus giving us a steady price update every 5 second, going down to the 16th decimal. Our games take their winning numbers from the last 5 to 6 decimals. It's certainly a unique and truly random number set. We have a public price API so everyone can see our updates.

I'm very excited to hear your thoughts and feedback. We are starting a small signature campaign this week. I'm starting this thread to introduce the project and to have a place to handle any questions/concerns/comments.

Thanks so much,

Josh

Allow me to extend to you a warm welcome to the Bitcointalk community!

I have taken a look at your website but unfortunately it seems to be made up of only a single page with the message that the website is still being worked on, so I cannot vouch for the legitimacy of any games that you may have to offer. I do like the retro yellow look which you have adopted for your signatures as well as for your brand marketing. The bright yellow color really lures in everyone's attention.

I hope that you will be active in the community as well as fair. Please note that the Bitcointalk community can be very strict and always has an eye out for even tiny details. So it is in your best interest to maintain a squeaky clean reputation!

The website is under construction from a week or more because the developer is currently working day and night to improve the site and add some new games plus upgrade the existing games. I have tested the games of the platform and I can say that those games were working in a fair manner.

I'm also the only participant of their review campaign and I can say that during the review testing I got no extra priority over others. I'm soon going to be sharing my review that I have written after testing the site for a day, and I can surely say that L0tt0.con offers unique experience to the users.

Yes, it does seem a bit unusual to continue running a signature campaign while the site is still undergoing updates or upgrades. In my opinion, it would have been better if the campaign had been temporarily paused and then resumed once the site upgrade was completed. Perhaps he wasn't aware that pausing the campaign was an option?

So far the L0tt0 owner has been running a very successful signature campaign on this forum because even if the site is still under construction, it's still a great step that they have not paused their signature campaign and their marketing is truly at another level. If you go through their signature campaign then you'll surely find out that they have selected some more participants in their signature campaign this week.
2596  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: July 14, 2023, 10:45:18 AM

You're right that the integration of AI into the gambling industry is still in the early stages, and it's difficult to predict exactly what it will look like in the future. Oh well... we'll have to wait and see how the gambling industry evolves with the integration of AI to understand its full impact and what it will look like in the future because we cannot really guess that much right now,

Can't wait to see how gambling with AI develops. you can be sure this will be a significant technological advancement and betting will be even easier. Online casinos will of course also have Anti Bot AI which can control users so they don't cheat in gambling. a new innovation will emerge to make it easier to make gambling bets.

I'm quite sure that casinos will also develop algorithms to stop AI based gambling in future when it develops because the online casinos can't lose a lot of money if an AI learn a particular game in fashion that no human could possibly learn. The casino owners and their programmers will never allow such piece of software to run their business, and that's why they will try their best to stop all such activities on their sites.

I'm sure the AI developers will find another ways to create a piece of AI that could detect the price range without even allowing those anti-AI software of the websites to notice that they are using such a AI based predictors. In such cases the things might go wrong for many casinos because they will lose a lot of money in the hands of those people who control those AI based bots.

Well, it's always advisable to only gamble with the money that wont affect your life even if you lose it. Gambling is a very strange type of entertainment and those people who have no luck or they are not lucky, then they will not gain any profits in the world of gambling. That's why if those people set a amount limit during their gambling session then their losses will not impact their lives.

The second point is also right because gambling isn't a field to make money, and especially for those who would want it to be their main source of income. The gamblers on some days can earn quite good amount of money while on some days they will lose a lot of money. It's always important for a gambler to set limit on their gambling activities on those days when they have more losses than wins.

The third point need to be changed a little because those who spend few hours are day on a casino often get addicted to it and that's why it's important to limit your daily gambling duration in minutes instead of hours. If you love gambling and enjoy casino sites then I think 40-80 minutes per day is more than enough, and more than that would be the misuse of time.

Haha, addiction to gambling is lot a curse my friend, it's just a gambling disorder, lucky ones still find a way around their addictions before it turns chronic, while the unlucky ones, well, like you said, keep gambling even after they've gone bankrupt, they can go hungry the whole day provided they find some money to satisfy their gambling urge.
I know someone who made hundreds of thousands of dollars from gambling. But he got so addicted to gambling that he lost that money by gambling, he even sold his favorite bike and gambled with that money and lost. In fact, we have a lot to learn after seeing this kind of real experience, that we have to be emotionally strong in every place so that we don't have to put ourselves in bad situations due to our wrong decisions.
Many gamblers have committed same mistake and in most of the cases its not actually because they lack control over their habits, I like to think that greediness and not being content also plays a major contributory factor for this gambler to have actually gone A-wire and lost control to the extent of even selling his motor bike and other stuffs.
Well, It is actually lack of control over ones habit that give room for greediness, which is also directly or indirectly the same thing as not being content, to thrive..
Think about it, one who has control over himself will know when to draw the limit, and also will not allow greed to take the better part of their self, so being greedy, also not contented all boils down to lack of self control.
I implore people to carefully study themselves and the limit at which they could take before doing anything. This thing they call adulthood is tasking, which is why the government makes sure that everyone above the age of 18 years is free to do whatever such want with approval. Ans if one reaches that age without knowing their weakness and strength and how to control and exercise limits, they should be blamed. We are responsible for our actions as an adult, it takes discipline, careful calculation and planning for one to gamble responsibly. And if you are out of control, it's advisable to take a break for some weeks, this helps to take a deep breath and gives more strength to control any gambling addiction.

Yeah, it's an important thing for the people to understand their limits, and they wont cross their limits at any cost. However, if someone is not able to understand their limits and continue to follow the path of greed then he/she is surely going to see huge losses.

If gambling is done without any rules or control over one's emotions then the users can face huge losses without any doubt. It's always our own responsibility to have control over our emotions during gambling, and if we aren't well disciplined then chances are that we will see huge losses.
2599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When You trade Do You use VPN? on: July 14, 2023, 08:28:41 AM
There is no need to use a VPN to use any crypto exchange in my country because all crypto exchanges are directly licensed in our country. Transacting through vpn is a bit annoying because most of the time in case of vpn the server has problems which makes it difficult to conduct transactions or other activities properly. But if there is a country where the use of crypto exchange is completely prohibited then the users of that country must take such advantage through VPN.
Another annoying aspect of using vpn is that whenever you use vpn you will get annoying ads which are really annoying. And choosing a good quality VPN is difficult. Most countries can use crypto exchanges directly without the hassle of a VPN.

The same is the situation here, I don't really need to use any kind of VPN connection in order to use crypto exchanges in my country because there isn't any restriction from regulators of my country on those exchanges and they have been working without any issues.

However, I must say that if there were restriction from the government on those exchanges then in that case I would also go with a VPN to use those exchanges. But, I would only go with a paid VPN service that wouldn't keep logs of the users because that would be the most preferable and safe option for me.

The free VPN's are often bloated with adware and that's why they are annoying for me, but the ads aren't much of a concern for security, however, if those VPN's aren't run by a secure and trusted vendors then there are changes that our accounts and other confidential data can be exposed if they keep logs of the connections.

I really don't prefer free VPN's for something that has to do with accounts and financial assets because trusting those could cause huge damage, and that's why it's better to avoid those. However, if someone is still in need of using those to browse the exchanges then that's his/her own choice.
