261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: January 02, 2018, 07:42:43 AM
It seems withdrawal/deposit issues are related to XRB in Bitgrail. Ive done countless deposits there with Litecoin and everyhing has went ok. Maybe its best to use Litecoin for deposit/withdrawal.

This is just absurd. $XRB is their native crypto, how can they have most problems there?
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: January 02, 2018, 07:30:43 AM
trade Xrb on rightbtc [no fee]
https://www.rightbtc.com/#!/trade

Another scammy exchange, what a news:

As with other scammy exchanges there are problems with withdrawals.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: January 02, 2018, 06:54:06 AM
I am sure it's a coincidence the only ones talking good about Bitgrail have just registered on the forum.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: January 01, 2018, 08:26:57 PM
any news on bigger exchanges? what about the voting contest on binance?

In current vote it is winning:
https://www.binance.com/vote.html

No RaiBlocks social is advertising it and they don't talk about exchanges until the moment they are already listed.

Currently just the usual three shity exchanges list XRB (Bitgrail, Mercatox, Bitflip).

In past times Cryptopia and Bittrex (just two days testing and then no listing) listed it and delisted after a while.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Stone - DAG Data-Structured Private Cryptocurrency on: January 01, 2018, 08:23:26 PM
From every possible distribution scenario, the one with a eg. $500 per Thread commenter/forum user sounds the fairest.

But let's see how and what the dev delivers first.

Sounds quite good to me too.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: January 01, 2018, 08:06:50 PM
Wow looks like RaiBlocks have large list of problems

People are just trading it (in flawed exchange at most), nobody is really using it (7000 tx/day!). As for IOTA when a decent amount of people started to use it problems came.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Stone - DAG Data-Structured Private Cryptocurrency on: January 01, 2018, 08:03:42 PM
Lurking for a long time here (over two years) and first time to register due to this project that got my attention.
Thinking also to donate, but I am not really comfortable especially not knowing any information about you.

How can we know that you are not trying to scam all and run away with the money?

I can create the same post promising a DAG, PRIVATE, QUANTUM PROOF, and use the dreams of the people to buy me a nice house and claim later that was too much effort, sorry...

Could you provide us with a fundamental reason to take this risk?
How can we trust you if we do not even know you?

I would love that someone here can start a technical questioning rounds with you just to challenge the knowledge that you claim you have.

Edit:

Balances on your addresses:

17rta6cBBcacwbjFuWmrCpaPDN3m4jX6et: $ 57,773.66
xrb_3my3e88nzaorkhcbho91seniswjz7ksiu1ddkuuu5ue3q8exiian9ikhja4g $ 24,633.18
0x4Ce0650EC058449F8b936733b12E945E443EC1bD $ 18,906.766

At this moment you got so far ~$100,000.00, for a nice post with some buzzwords on it.
That is just data and how I see this project so far, with no any code presented.

People donated because they wanted to do. Nobody forced anyone. Personally speaking I would be willing to donate after having seen GitHub etc. but people that already did it have done it knowing the risk (I bet).

I have just discovered a curious thing, Bittrex listed and immediately removed XRB in past times:

During Bittrex testing XRB chain went down 2 days. So the exchange decided to remove the coin immediately. Of course no dev even mentioned it.

To all newcomers to Raiblocks

If you are new to Bitcointalk you may not realize how things work around here. Ask yourself this - why would someone who states that Raiblocks is crap/a pump and dump/full of flaws, etc. keep coming on here posting the same thing over and over again even though it has already been addressed numerous times before? Because they care about noobs and want to protect them from the big bad Raiblocks dev stealing their money? LOL, I think not.

There are 3 reasons for these FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) posts:

1) Usually the person posting the FUD is actually holding the coin they are bashing - they make negative posts in an attempt to drive down the price so they can buy more.

2) They may also be holding a competing coin (IOTA for example) and they are angry that another coin has taken the spotlight away from them. You can spot people in this group as they will often have a signature advertising another coin or they will shill it directly in their post.

3) Pure saltiness. This forum has really gone downhill over the years and it is now filled with desperate, salty children who are angry that they missed the boat.

The world is full of toxic people who cannot accomplish anything on their own so they try to make themselves feel better by attacking other people's accomplishments. Ignore them and DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!

Blacklisted by who? Who are you? Can't we say our opinion? This sounds really nazi. But what to expect... censor everyone tells anything different so people don't get the point.

Come on, tell me this is FUD too:

Ah ok, now I understand... you get your crypto advice from 4chan. That explains everything LMFAO

It's clear you haven't clicked because if you did you would have discovered one of the many proofs of flawed "official" XRB exchange with easy price manipulation.

the team should put some short youtube films, like Verge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buEXw-mk2Sg
Maybe a task for the community with some rewards in XSH

Verge plz... SHIELD is far better, no lies.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RaiBlocks is NOT secure on: January 01, 2018, 05:32:01 PM
True story.

From Whitepaper:
"RaiBlocks is a trustless..."

A lie after just three words:
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1799665.60

- https://steemit.com/raiblocks/@selfdrivingsandp/security-thoughts-on-raiblocks

IOTA coordinator = ByteBall trusted peers = RaiBlocks representatives = TOTAL CENTRALIZATION of consensus so of your coins.

Now tell me please, XRB works without having to trust representatives, right?

Game over.

Conclusion: DAG is the past, not the future.

So, is it a DAG coin or not ?

I still can't get it.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: January 01, 2018, 05:10:02 PM
Actually it took me a single read of the paper and some reading in the source code to notice the flaw. Some people in the development section of discord proposed to store a trusted set of nodes hardcoded in the client. This makes the voting system useless, since you need the approval of only the trusted nodes. I repeat, this is just bitcoin without the bitcoin secure algorithm, you are believing in a false god.

Percocet and Cyra, i bet you are one of those few people who own more than 1M coins and could potentially ezploit the network : >

+1  XRB isn't decentralized and can join the ranks of the USD and Ripple.

True story. Trusting representatives is the same as trusting central banksters.

Moreover it has been premined 100% and for most given to developers\creators (with coin burn they have an absolute power) and the part not given to few people was given trough flawed-hacked faucets (thousands of videos on youtube proving working BOTs\hacks to obtain XRBs) that all pointed to the same 4-5 addresses (so oligarchy at its worst).

People doesn't care about reality, for example the fact that this coin is here since years and not a single serious exchange noticed its potentiality (not existent because of the lack in security) and the only one who did (Cryptopia, not serious anyway) delisted it after just few weeks of trading.

They couldn't code a decent wallet, neither website, they had the worst budget-bugged exchange (after years of trading they hadn't noticed the flaws or they used it maybe). Many people have become rich, sure, but that's all.

It seems this is the time of not serious coins, like Verge and this.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: January 01, 2018, 03:42:59 PM
I'm dying with regret AF. I didn't expected RaiBlocks will grow up like this. Back @ 2016 I was selling thousands of this coins for only less than 1000sats (  check my sent trust and recent posts ) and now it worths almost $25! Didn't expect all of this, because right then before dev sucks, community sucks, wallet sucks! But now. WTH. Now I only got 600 XRB and it's killing me with regrets for selling almost 80k XRB for cheap price.  Cry

ROTFL but it is still like that: it's the same. You forgot exchange sucks (worst ever). The only thing different now is that whales are having fun.

277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: January 01, 2018, 03:41:37 PM
XRB is the most worthy investment altcoin at the moment because I am sure the XRB will soon be listed on Binance and I am keeping a lot of XRB from 6 months ago. I hope the XRB could soon reach $ 50 in 2018 because big investors are very interested in this altcoin

You are dreaming.  Here we have a thread where gmaxwell and other inveterate cryptocurrency developers point out that XRB in inherently insecure.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1219264  These problems cannot be ignored and no serious exchange can list a coin like this (suicide).

You better let Kucoin and Binance know your findings since they are about to list XRB. Hopefully your garbage dumpster still has internet access.

It will be very funny when Kucoin and Binance collapse in result of adding $XRB.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Stone - DAG Data-Structured Private Cryptocurrency on: January 01, 2018, 03:27:30 PM
I respectfully disagree with any snapshot or another oligarchal distribution. Why fatten the Whales?  We have a rare opportunity  to be an everlasting currency for the World. Let’s make it as accessible to the working class as it is to the wealthy. If we don’t, Stone will just be another nichecoin. If we don’t do it, someone else wil. Only a matter of time. A vast amount of a currency’s utility resides in the trust people have in it. Let’s build that trust by distributing it to more people from all around the planet.

Yeah, absurd thing to make riches richer.
