41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BOUNTY]👑Multiversum - 4°Generation Relational Blockchain [LIVE]👑 on: May 22, 2018, 07:00:30 AM
Update
Looks like I have a solemn announcement to make...

It appears that the bounty hunters should now pass KYC to receive their rewards from MTV. I was just made aware of this a couple hours ago and I've been trying to come up with some solutions. I'm sorry if you feel cheated for your one week of work, it was an unexpected event that just happened.

So after talking with the devs, it seems like you'll need to do the following to receive your bounty rewards.

1. Register on the website here.
2. Pass KYC via the dashboard there, you'll be notified if you passed or were rejected within 48 hours (if not, please pm me).
3. Post your email address here, as well with your role on the spreadsheet and I'll replace your eth address with your email one.
4. Then after the 4 weeks, tokens will be sent to anyone who has a valid account and passed KYC.

And once again, I apologize for any wasted efforts.

1) DONE, registered and applied for KYC.
2) COMPLETED, e-mail received, I am KYC-accepted.
3) frankcastlerussian@gmail.com, signature campaign, #127 row in spreadsheet (Accepted), MTV website\KYC approved ETH address is the same I have put in google form when applying for signature bounty.
4) I look forward to receiving them, thanks a lot in advance.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward? on: May 21, 2018, 01:52:37 PM
I don't do it, I actually just do bounties of projects in which I believe, that has future potential, I read whitepapers, I partecipate in Bitcointalk and Telegram discussions, I try to suggest improvements and then I HODL because bounties are early things and projects still have to show their cards in crypto play. Sometimes I get dumped but many times, sooner or later, tech and good features prevail and my bounty coins pump really much. Then... I continue hodling. We are still in early days. Greediness is bad if we want crypto takeover real world.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 will be the year of Altcoins exploding. on: May 20, 2018, 01:45:24 PM
2017 changed my life thanks to crypto.

Many people in crypto make the mistake to go in projects that are already high. Maybe most people are just too lazy or dont have the time to analyze and look at coins below the top100 at Coinmarketcap Smiley

Colx combines Monero and Raiblocks and will x100 in 2018. But I think we will see many cheap altcoins explode in 2018, while Bitcoin stays relatively stable.

Agree or disagree?

I think this is a marketing post anyway I will reply to make things clear to people who will read it. COLX has nothing in common with Raiblocks, that is a brand new code called 'bitlattice' where every account has its own blockchain and it offers almost istant fee-less transactions. COLX is a strandard Bitcoin-like blockchain with reduced blocktime and lower fees, it is actually a PIVX fork, so, yes, it has privacy but has very little in common with Monero (cryptonite-based). Please don't try to confuse people to push some coins without good reasons.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is this the end of crypto? on: May 19, 2018, 05:41:49 AM
Most big companies banned cryptocurrency advertizing, governments are seriously getting closer to the question of cryptocurrencies' regulation.

This is true but aren't cryptos born to be trustless, censorship resistant and not touched by government regulations or companies bans? I think there is a fear problem among crypto investors, everytime there is a bad news we see panic in markets (also whales and speculators are doing their job...). Maybe they (we) should remember that BTC in first place is born after the financial crisis that those big companies and governements created in first place (governements are just banksters frontline these days). It's clear the problem here is that BTC and cryptos value is too much FIAT based-dependent and many people just want to increase FIAT value of their crypto. We should focus on adoption, FIAT will continue collapsing in value (like it did last decades thanks to banksters-created hyperinflation, remember they print money out of thin air while BTC and crypto max supply are for most fixed in time) and we'll all have moon. In one word: focus on good projects and if you believe crypto is a better future than FIAT HODL.

Beware, to deposite use exchange crex24 or new exchange other

at 2018 year, many a lot new market exchange with SSL just 2 month or 4 month
after, all people a lot deposite to there exchange and then offline
or, they are run away for stolen your money

by the way, your can learning from history scam exchange: Bitindia & Coingather
2 ceo from, that exchange its true bad poor man

=================================

=================================

so, we must thingking smart again to make doing deposite
use, to experience exchange with more more
for example, old exchange with certified trusted of recommend
save your currency, and keep protect your privacy.

Yeah, I am concerned too about this, that's why I hoped for QWC better exchange support. Sadly weeks (months?) have passed and nothing changed. Just those two little shady exchanges are supporting QWC and there is no news coming. Watching at website and docs. QWERTY coin seems to deserve more (seeing also it's not premined) than an exchange without even a safe certificate. Maybe community is not supporting it enough? What have devs to say about this? Can we do anything to make it happen? I already have filled out an application for QWC at tradeogre like some other people do.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRYPTONOTE][AIRDROP]⚡️ Electronero ⚡️ ASIC Resistant Electroneum HardFork on: May 18, 2018, 01:40:04 PM
I bet you have put airdrop in the title to make more people possible join this. This is not an airdrop btw but a fork. It should definetely be more clear in title and first post. Bad start for me, maybe it's a good project but putting a misleading title doesn't demonstrate good will. Seeing also bad practices about exchange spamming and fake account joining Telegram doesn't smell great too. I'll pass this, even if it's potentially free money, as Electroneum owner. And please, at least change the name.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: May 17, 2018, 01:13:30 PM
I have succesfully locked MCO for 6 month period with new App to obtain the card. There is a little problem with App btw, it continues to show "Begin your 6 month holding period - Lock up your MCO now", it should disappear seeing Balance is showing correctely the MCO locked. It could be confusing for users. Maybe you should replace it after locking up with "You have succesfully locked up your coin and you will receive the card as soon as ready" updating with date as soon as available.

Also you should send a confirmation e-mail for locked MCO as a remined. Sometimes the App crashes with error message surfing through the tabs.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] :: COPICO ::CRYPTO E-MARKET PLATFORM {SWAP FROM COPICO TO CAZ OVER} on: May 17, 2018, 01:08:58 PM
There was ample time given for swap.

Reasons for swap:

As the old dev has left the project along with the node details, we don't have any clear way to proceed on the development and copico chain had issues of sync and orphan blocks since January. There was an update planned in January for the reward doubling it didn't happen. This was delayed three times. As the blockchain was not proper we were not able to launch platform as per due date. We still took responsibility invested our own funds to rebuild things and preparing for the platform launch. Cryptopia didn't support swap.

Even though in the delisting notice it was mentioned to contact the team for swap and we are processing swap requests in telegram and discord.

I have done swap through Telegram, it took a bit but was succesful. New CAZCOIN wallet is really great (but you should definetely add a default .conf with nodes or it won't sync for most people at first run), responsive and full of great features (even if the only way to obtain private key is through console with command dumpprivkey), also website is complete and full of documentations and details. Is there any planned exchange for CAZCOIN? Will it be listed soon? So bad Cryptopia didn't support swap (MercatoX is still trading XCPO but seeing it's not accepting deposit it's not a real market, better to swap of course).

Also, isn't it the case to open a dedicated announcement for CAZCOIN? This thread is full of old and new information.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: May 17, 2018, 07:51:51 AM
Bill Gates several years ago said Bitcoin is better currency, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIiIXt0rutg.

Moreover Bill Gates, even if it's one of the most succesful businessman in the world, has been wrong many times:
http://www.businessinsider.com/the-dumbest-things-bill-gates-ever-said-2016-4

He was wrong about:
- internet
- Apple
- spam

Many other things that now are so important (good or bad things) in our lives.

Don't forget it has been several years since he is trying to fight Google as search engine, after having lost first mover advantace, with Bing, being unsuccesful too.

Don't take anyone's words as laws or dogmas. Everyone is often wrong.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which country is heaven for crypto traders and Exchangers? on: May 17, 2018, 07:46:00 AM
Malta for sure. Prime Minister istelf is pro-blockchain, they are making many laws to be blockchain island, they are welcoming exchanges like Binance and many others and they'll soon grant banking\FIAT support (even when it's not clear).

As you can read here:
- https://www.coinstaker.com/malta-cryptocurrency-blockchain-friendly-country/

They aim to be the global trailblazers in the regulation of blockchain-based businesses and the jurisdiction of quality and choice for world class fintech companies.

And here:
- https://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20180325/local/fintech-and-blockchain-will-make-malta-future-proof-muscat.674473

It's the first time we see so clear announcements with respect to blockchain. There is not uncertainty in Malta's approach. They want to be pioneers in supporting this new tech.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: May 16, 2018, 07:19:39 PM
Is the app update restricted to certain regions or something? My app looks the same as it always did!

I live in Europe. What about you? I also received an e-mail that announced all the App and Monaco news. Did you receive it? Anyway check on Play Store if there is any update available. If not, maybe new update is region restricted and this is linked to the fact they could have found physical card partners in certain regions and not in others. Let's try to figure it out.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: May 16, 2018, 11:28:27 AM
New App is really great, it is finally possible to lock up MCO token in order to receive the phisical card (it's possible to pay the fee with various methods, accordin to actual MCO value). Shipping date still not available but the procedure is smooth and Monaco has an built-in Crypto wallet for Ethereum, Bitcoin, Monaco token and Binance Coin currencies. Balance is shown also in USD.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you like about HITBTC exchange ..? on: May 16, 2018, 06:40:16 AM
HitBtc is a good exchange, it usually works without many problems, orders are filled fast and trading engine is smooth. Moreover HitBtc team seems to be always in touch with promising new coins and they usually are the first to list them. Also HitBtc is not greedy like other exchanges (e.g. Bittrex, Cryptopia) so you can find new good tokens that have not paid for listing. Everyone in fact can request a token listing: https://blog.hitbtc.com/one-easy-step-to-list-your-own-coin-on-hitbtc/.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: “BTCP to replace monero as the top privacy coin” John macafee on: May 16, 2018, 06:33:30 AM
After this news: https://cointelegraph.com/news/john-mcafee-charges-105000-per-tweet-for-promoting-cryptocurrency-projects
I don't think we can trust what he says. 105K $ for a single post, come on...

If he gets money it will support it, plain as simple, even if now he says the contrary:
- https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/996459212422242307

Anyway BTCP is definetely a good fork, more scalable than BTC thanks to higher block limit and with privacy features from ZCL. Like others here I think sooner or later it will moon. Adoption will be a very important factor.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: May 15, 2018, 08:40:51 AM
MyEtherWallet does not keep your details but the website can definetely be hacked and redirected so when you put details they can steal them, always check certificate if it's safe and before login search info on Twitter, hacks have a good resonance there. Login using Metamask, is one of safest and reccomended method.

MEW or your ETH account cannot be hacked... it's your BROWSER that can be hacked. Big difference.

Any successful browser attack can steal enough information to steal your funds...
So any method that bypasses or enhances your browser is probably very secure.

Latest hack was not browser related but DNS related. Browser is client side while MEW is server side. It wasn't the clients those hacked but the domain that had been redirected to another russian website. Clients were safe but they supposed to be in correct MEW website while they were puttind details to some russian IPs.

57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: May 14, 2018, 06:28:02 PM
After the hacking scandal I do not use MEW anymore. I think MyCrypto.com (MEW fork) will not do the same mistakes. Anyway it seems web wallet are not so safe in the end, the best solution is always an official client wallet where you and only you own your private key. In this case the only risk is that you could be hacked, but always better than trusting in DNS\website hosts failures. While using MyCrypto always remember to backup your encrypted .json file and keep for you the private key. Then login with Metamask (one of the reccomended method).

Wallet does not sync for me I don't know why. It tells me "no connections\sources" but I checked firewall it's ok, it's not blocking CAZCOIN wallet. What could be the cause?

/update: I found the cause and I'll post it so maybe this will help other people: I opened Tools -> Configuration files and I manually added these nodes, I found them in official Windows Cazcoin Masternode guide .pdf (you can check here: http://cazcoin.io/Windows_wallet_setup.pdf), it seems they are needed also to sync:
addnode=45.32.172.67
addnode=185.183.99.19
addnode=45.77.80.117
addnode=185.150.191.23

Put these 4 lines in your cazcoin.conf (mine was empty before) and it will sync!

Last question:
The "denied" status is checked every week or is irreversible?

I have been told it's "irreversible". This is just crazy. They even changed rules after first days, so one was supposed to check first post everyday?

Denied status should be revised every week. We are wearing your signature and avatar and it's not fair we have not the possibility to be accepted since you changed criteria on the run.

About 50% of signature bounty people are denied and many without reason and it seems it is forever. Why didn't you decide just to make them lose stakes for that weeks as it happens on other bounties (even yours apart from signature). There is something wrong here. How could we have known you would have changed rules on the run?

Good question... I really would like to know the same. Anyway it's not so easy to do very complete posts? What are the criterias? Isn't that a bit drastic? We did the posts... we just missed some contents?!?
