261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CREDITS - A genuine 100x coin on: March 06, 2018, 05:46:02 PM
Unfortunately, it is technically impossible to do "more than 1,000,000 transactions per second" on blockchain which they declared and time will show this impossibility.

Says who? Nothing is impossible. If or not they can do it remains to be seen but it's not impossible.

Suppoman is pumping this coin so hard that his community is only talking about this. I don't think there is any reason to buy a bag in FOMO mode. Anyway millions of transactions per second is just a concept on paper. Bringing this to reality without compromising on decentralisation is a challenging task.

It's not really misplaced FOMO though, credits will be at $3+ inside a month, if they deliver it can go to 10 times that amount fairly easily as well.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin! yes Bitcoin Cash! yes Bitcoin Gold! no why? on: March 04, 2018, 07:27:49 PM
I saw many or every person about Bitcoin and BTCCash why people are not talking about Bitcoin Gold?
Major sites and ICOs are also accepting payment in BTC and in BTCCash but not showing interest in Bitcoin Gold.

Is Bitcoin Gold has no future?

It stems from demand, if people want to purchase things using bitcoin gold then ICOs and the likes will allow them to do so. If there's very little call for it from the community then they won't offer it.

Bitcoin gold doesn't have much of a future, it won't ever compete.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CREDITS - A genuine 100x coin on: March 04, 2018, 07:25:24 PM
if this coin will launch their own and unique blockchain the answear is yes it will easily touch 100x againts dollar especially if the bitcoin and marketcap increase again. and thank you for this information because i never heard this coin before you post it. will do some research first off course. is the coin will be staked or mined ?

To my knowledge neither as credits is a new system and won't be either POS or POW.

I am waiting to be able to buy CS at a cheaper price because CS is really a great project in 2018 because the potential of this project is huge. I am preparing 60% of my assets to buy CS because I am pretty sure CS may be listed on all major exchanges this year and just keep and you will become million

Don't think its gonna go much lower buddy, i'd stock up now

Wise advice, lowest I see it going is back to about 0.0004 eth. Stock up now, this won't be below $1 for long.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEX on: March 03, 2018, 06:11:02 PM
Anyone interested in NEX?  (Running a decentralized exchange from the NEO platform) There will be a lottery type sale coming up for up to 25K people, max investment of 1k each from what I understand.

Because of the token being NEP-5 (NEO blockchain), the token may not be promptly accessible to exchange (considering Red Pulse still can't seem to be recorded on a level one trade) which could put off here and now financial specialists

For this exchange to be effective, there should be significantly more NEP-5 tokens available to trade.

Will you only be able to trade NEP-5 tokens or will there be cross chain compatibility so you can also buy and sell erc20 tokens for example?

If there's no cross chain then this exchange will be pretty much useless for at least a long while until there are more neo based tokens.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CREDITS - A genuine 100x coin on: March 03, 2018, 06:08:43 PM
EOS even touched $10.9B Market Cap.. perhaps it was just increased that high based on speculation at the time. Cardano had gone into $32B at one stage. If we head into a new Bull Run and CREDITS is delivering a lot projects... companies launching their ICOs on their platform and leveraging their blockchain tech it could be a perfect storm. I don't think I can write them off at just $2B cap this year.. they could surpass that. I would definitely consider it a minimum goal and over $10 per CS of course. Wouldn't be shocked if through 2019 they hit $100 per CS.

Dont expect too much for now dude. I know this is really project and i hope i will buy it when it hit the exchange but i dont hope two much benefit.
Most real profit is maximum 5x of the price. Its amazing i think .

I think we'll see more than 5x before we even have a platform launch, at least as long as they can release some of the alpha code, enough to show that the 200k fps is verifiable. I wouldn't be surprised if we are already at about 20x before the platform even launches in June.

I don't understand, they clam they don't use a blockchain like ethereum or bitcoin. What do they use instead?  Huh

Right now the credits tokens are ERC20 tokens and operate on the ethereum blockchain but the credits project is about building their own blockchain, once that's complete then credits as well as hopefully many other tokens will operate on that blockchain.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about ICOs using moderators such AmaZix in telegram channel on: March 02, 2018, 05:55:54 PM
Most projects will hire someone to be the community manager and this is effectively what Amazix are. I find that their channels operate so much more smoothly and questions are dealt with. Many developers don't have the communication skills to deal with their investors and it creates problems out of nothing.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CREDITS - A genuine 100x coin on: March 02, 2018, 05:54:16 PM
Tokens unlock tomorrow, what do you think about the price? I'm expecting it to go at least 2x and never really drop below that price. I think we could see 5x in early trading (not tomorrow) if we can get some good exchange listings in the next month.
At least it will be no more than 5x from the ico price. But credis doesn't need a lot of amount just like another shit blockchain platform like EOS. which runs by money whore. It looks good.
Alpha already tested by some people and it gets more than 200k TPS. But some people were accusing if that was not blockchain based project and that makes me confuse about the credit itself.

It's because there's no proof yet that the alpha was operating on a blockchain instead of just having some code that generates fake transactions.

How can you say that this coin will go 100x ? Theres no even an exchange for this coin.
People are predicting without any proof.

Err... It's called speculation, there can't be proof. If you wait for proof to invest then you'll only get conned by ponzi schemes.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 46% of last year's ICOs have failed already on: March 01, 2018, 11:24:16 PM
About 80% of new start ups fail within their first year which probably shows that ICOs are still overperforming. There are still a lot of projects that are enjoying success that shouldn't be but that is because we as investors are not yet skilled enough to identify which projects should succeed.

270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Decentralized Hedge Funds' Ripe For Volatile Cryptocurrency Market (Forbes) on: February 28, 2018, 09:46:44 PM
The volatile nature of the cryptocurrency market might seem daunting for individual investors. While some believe Bitcoin to be the next global currency, others remain weary.

For example, the judges on the popular ABC show Shark Tank, Kevin O’Leary and Robert Herjavec, recently sat down with Fortune to share their thoughts on Bitcoin investments. When asked about investing in cryptocurrency, O’Leary mentioned that he is a fan of digital money, but has some reservations.

“When you can pay your taxes in Bitcoin, it will become a global currency, and that’s why I own it,” O’Leary told Fortune.

Many of today’s “traditional crypto” hedge funds focused on trading cryptocurrencies take a number of different individual approaches to ensure profits.

“I trade almost exclusively OTC (over the counter) to minimize risk,” said Arianna Simpson, founder and managing director of the crypto hedge fund Autonomous Partners.

Decentralized hedge funds, however, take a different approach that is based on resource sharing and community profits, made possible through the application of blockchain technology.

“A decentralized hedge fund is a crowd sourced hedge fund, where the fund allocation is selected by the crowd, not a hedge fund manager. Blockchain technology provides trust in a trustless environment and ensures that everyone can participate in the consensus,” said Michael Yuan, Chief Scientist at CyberMiles Foundation. "Just look at Bitcoin. No one on the network trusts each other, but they all trust the protocol. As a result, they also trust the account balances on the blockchain.”

https://www.forbes.com/sites/rachelwolfson/2018/02/28/decentralized-hedge-funds-ripe-for-volatile-cryptocurrency-market/#550abab5477f

The development of blockchain technology is a big step forward in terms of accountability and that will help with hedge funds as well as many other things. With the blockchain all transactions for these funds can be traced and so investors can easily track their investment and settle any disputes.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Verge is about to explode - target 0,65 on: February 17, 2018, 05:42:16 PM
Let's see if they can actually deliver on what they've promised for once. Even if they do 65 cents seems a long way away. Its ATH with all the craziness in December/January was about 20c. 65c would be a more reasonable end of year goal.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Opposite of FUD on: February 16, 2018, 09:18:23 PM
Opposite of FUD

Opposite of FUD is actually called shilling. That do pumpers after they accumulated cheap coins over weeks they were FUDing. Then they start shill. They tell us how that coin will solve world hunger and found cure for cancer.

but still shilling is still better as it dont crash market , and even with lies they only take side of crypto markets .
FUD on other hand cause panic in all .
Better for what? As far as i know those are shilling don't even care about the truth. Basically they are spreading the bullshit rumour or news to make others believe with them all. basically shillers can become FUDers anytime. So what's your conclusion about that? because i've seen so many shills and FUDers. They are all look the same.

They're entirely the same, there's no lesser of two evils. They're just trying to manipulate people by playing on their emotions and feeding them lies.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Opposite of FUD on: February 15, 2018, 05:54:30 PM
The sad (no pun) fact of it is that labeling things as FUD is an easy way to get away with all of the things you mention. ICOs have so much control over the information that is portrayed and they can easily manipulate things in their own way with such FUD shaming.

So many telegram groups etc will just remove anyone who says anything slightly negative or questioning of the ICO. It's a sure fire way to be able to dupe unsuspecting investors who believe there are no issues because they've not seen anyone else raise any.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the best ICO rating sources ? on: February 14, 2018, 05:29:44 PM
https://www.coinschedule.com/

They don't offer much in terms of a review of ICOs but they compile all of the information sources in to one place and it's easy to explore new and ongoing ICOs using their site.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM: India, Coincheck, & Know-Your-Customer Laws on: February 14, 2018, 05:27:55 PM
Stricter regulation in any country will hurt all crypto prices in the short term. I do think that regulators will be looking to move away from an approach of banning things towards one of regulating them so they can ensure the proper use. Long term regulation will be a good thing for cryptocurrencies. Think of how many people are too afraid to enter because they've heard so many horror stories of scams etc.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are your thoughts on DeepOnion? on: February 13, 2018, 06:41:23 PM
The marketing is very good and this is arguably more important than the features of the coin. If you look at something like xspec with exceptional privacy features, you will see that it is currently going nowhere fast. Onion on the other hand is doing much better despite only being released half a year ago, this is due to much better marketing.

Not to mention the fact that owners are rewarded for holding and even incentivised to buy more by the same measures. The price will tank as soon as the 'airdrop' ends.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies against the dollar on: February 13, 2018, 06:39:17 PM
Cryptocurrencies are unlikely to ever replace FIAT currencies, they may offer alternatives in some situations however. Even in the case where cryptocurrencies are adopted in many places I suspect that most retailers who accept them will be converting any crypto they receive in to FIAT instantly.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FOMO] NEO Receives Designated Offshore Securities Market Status by the SEC on: February 12, 2018, 03:28:21 PM
For NEO this is really big, the Chinese crypto landscape is so uncertain and new regulation can come about any day to crush NEO, having this can really act as a safe haven in such an event and allow investors to feel much safer in their investment in to NEO.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the next Bitconnect? on: February 12, 2018, 03:26:19 PM
Generally I am of the assumption that anything offering a guaranteed return is a ponzi scheme. 6% a month is over 100% a year, I don't think there's any investment that can guarantee such a return.

As far including their personal info, firstly we can't verify that it's actually them, secondly people will do a lot if they're going to get rich from it.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about World Changing Technology on: February 10, 2018, 04:09:14 PM
Cryptocurrency will be one of them for sure, virtual reality/augmented reality will be a huge game changer for so many industries, while I believe in crypto I'm more interested in the latter because the possibilities are so exciting.
