261  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-11-10] CFTC says Bitcoin AND ETH are Commodity on: October 15, 2019, 10:36:58 PM
ETH was ICO - doesn't work as promised and goes PoS - Vitalik controlled, is even more what a security defines ( Shares = right to min and earn dividends )
It was an ICO, but it's current status is no longer that---what it is known as today is a POW network---therefore is put in the same category as Bitcoin. People may not agree with that but things are as they are.

As for Ethereum being Vitalik controlled, maybe, but his influence on what happens is declining as time goes by. Important is that the CFTC doesn't look at Ethereum like that because they continue to call it a decentralized crypto.

Regarding POS, it's not certain yet that it will happen. The CFTC just focuses on how Ethereum runs today, not how it might run in 2020 and after. I don't consider Ethereum a security either. Bitcoin bulls on the other hand do. Cheesy

Yeah I agree with sir ethereum is not an ordinary coin in the crypto currency space, actually there a lot of country and merchants accepting ethereum as mode of payment same function of the king of crypto(bitcoin) so it's obvious ethereum not a commodity is also a new form of money.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any pvp betting game? on: October 15, 2019, 10:28:38 PM
I remember someone was making a pvp game where you could play against someone else and the winner gets the money. I haven't seen any of those around here for a while, I would love to play a skilled game where you can bet and the house takes a small percentage on each play. Anything like that with bitcoins? Or any other cryptocurrency for that matter.
Classic problem why there's no casino provide pvp games , it's always about how not profitable for the site provider and lack of interest. I would also love to play a game like pvp blackjack , pvp baccarat etc. not sure if that kind game exist nowadays , unless of course poker.

Yeah your totaly correct on that thought gambling is pure business and entertainment so the owner of the aite create they focus where people interested to play games and enjoy it

If you like betting on sports and events, fairlay is a great place for P2P bet. The odds are decided by the users so you would have the best ones and you can even create your own event and invite other gamblers to join it.

Wow yes bright idea mate that is interesting for the gamblers.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Store of Value or Method of Payment on: October 15, 2019, 10:15:05 PM
Well" actually bitcoin is very useful for fast payment transaction they guve convinient for those busy people for their day yo day work so bitcoin guve this opportunity to use it via onlin paymeny without traveeling and wasting of time. But of course if they have an opportunity to keep bitcoin and wait for the new all time high the way to become rich or the way to get huge profits as bitcoin treated store value. So is obvious bitcoin both is important and useful.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers, the biggest crypto problem on: October 14, 2019, 11:29:34 PM
Obviously and definitely 100 percent correct scammer is the number problem in the crypto currency space, it is difficult to resolve this problem because a lot of the victim of the scammer is the newcomers in the crypto space due to lack of understanding and they trust fast to unknown people offering propaganda of the they offer.
265  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money can't buy happiness ... on: October 14, 2019, 11:23:37 PM
Material world today. No happiness with no money. Do you agree?

Yea I agree money can't buy happiness, but we need to accept without money is also life is misserable because money is important in our lives to make complete our happiness to use by day to day needs specially foods.

266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins should i buy? on: October 14, 2019, 11:18:35 PM
I have some altcoins from early 2017 and some BTC and ETH too. I am thinking about investing some more but don't really know what i should be looking into.

Below is my list of coins.

BTC, ETH, NEO, ADA, LSK, LTC, Stratis, Waves, ARK, SHIFT, Pivx, VTC, GRS, Powr, Tenx

When i bought in early 2017, Statis, Waves, Ark and ADA was popular, how are these coins today?

I am not interested in low market/very new coins.

Thanks!

You can add in your list binance it possible to become expensive by the support of their own exchange company, and also Libra coun but I didn't sure if when available into the market because of the help of their devs facebook for sure that coin goes into the top list in the coin market cap.
267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to control your emotions while trading?👨🏼‍💻 on: October 14, 2019, 10:52:24 PM
Emotions is part of being human but to avoid this use mind not heart and follow the plan and need to be brave as trader and condition as crypto trader is normal the price  is highly volatile up and down movement in the market.

My sense of panic in trading in my opinion is common when prices start to fall deeply or when prices soar and have not had time to buy the coin. And seeing my chart really helped me when I started trading. But if we hear good or bad news sometimes it's affected or I ignore it a little. But I believe I have expertise in trading even a little

To avoid panicking do not listen a lot of news, I suggest to monitor your own way at the coin ameket cap all about the price of each coins. Falling down of the price value is normal we need to extend our patience and wait for the other time if the price of the coin traded is falling down. Always put an margin much percentage want to earn avoid wasting time.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Fiat currencies still exist or be replaced by Crypto Currencies? on: October 14, 2019, 10:33:05 PM
fiats ( that mean cash money as well) give people flexibility. cash is very secure payment method.
so in fact it is more secure in some ways then crypto
the cost of transaction is zero, delay of transaction is zero. but crypto + fiat is good combination for today's world
and, imo, it should stay like this  Cool

Perfect mate today the combination of fiat and crypto currency are very useful important, I use it well both in my personal needs depend on the availability of the merchant they accept payment.
But as of now crypto currency is not purely mature as new currency because a lot of people didn't understand well what is crypto currency especially the old generation. In the duture possible virtual crypto currency is the main currency use by world wide.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dinar, Dirham to BITCOIN on: October 13, 2019, 11:27:04 PM
there are some people consider Bitcoin is digital gold. because of its mining system and limited stock. So do you think the concept of bitcoin refers to Gold? because gold has a stable value throughout the world. if true. then the country that uses the first stable coin is arabic, with its dinar and dirham. and perfected by bitcoin with computer networks and the internet. What's your opinion.?

I don't know it impossible to compare digital currency into the gold because both have an own function and use in the market, like fiat market every country have an own control of their currency circulation.

Gold has had varying buying power and other altcoins and stable coins have been varying as well and can't be compared to old-world historic currencies.

This is absolutely correct and I agree with you sir to be clear have a big difference between digital gold and physical gold.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the time for a comeback for crypto? on: October 13, 2019, 11:17:45 PM
for now market conditions cannot be predicted due to insignificant ups and downs, but clearly shitcoin will not last long in this condition, when market releases their value will go down even if it will not be worth any more in the near future.
so what will really survive is btc and alt which are indeed feasible.

Perfect mate difficult to predict when bitcoin and altcoins goes into at this moment because of high volatility movement,  but take easy and relax time comes and the price become stable and stronger specially bitcoin amd hoping before end of this year bitcoin stay strong until the new year comes and atart ofr another bullrun.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the Faith of Casino business owners? on: October 13, 2019, 11:10:27 PM
If the propose Public Amendment of Gambling Law to BAN Casino come to pass what then will be faith of those who are benefiting from casino business related activities https://dailyasianage.com/news/199020/amendment-to-gambling-law-to-ban-casino

This article does not cover the overall casino gambling business worldwide and it is only related to the Muslim country Bangladesh. Gambling is already prohibited in that area and government wants to shut down the illegal running casinos.

Quote
Article 18(2) of the Constitution of Bangladesh says, "The State shall adopt effective measures to prevent prostitution and gambling."Therefore, gambling is a illegal act but not business. Besides, Sections 3, 4, 13 of the Public Gambling Act, 1867, define gambling as a criminal and punishable offence.

Oh great thanks for sharing that republic act law, that can help, for those people blinded about the ignorant of the gambling law. In very country have an own republic act law implementing rules of regulations guidelines need to follow the owner of the gambling business.
272  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-10-10] How the U.S. Government Tried – and Failed – to Shut Down Bitcoin on: October 13, 2019, 11:01:33 PM
I believe total banned to all US territory is possible, but not bitcoin shutting down world wide, because until people and a lot of countries supporting bitcoin as legal and allowing it to use and treat as new form of money nobody can stop it being decentralized currency. And people are have an owndecision either he/she a US citizen have an rights to get envolve as bitcoin holder anonymously.
273  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are there so many travel sites advertising on tv? on: October 13, 2019, 10:51:38 PM
trivago
travelocity
booking.com
kayak
priceline
tripadvisor
etc
etc
etc...

Is the travel market that great that allows so many sites that do the same thing? The deals are never that great, most of the time you can book it yourself for less direct through the hotel or airline, especially on international trips.

Just a pet peeve... lol  Grin

Because a lot of people needs travel consultant assistant that offer by the the travel abpngency for those people want to relax and take vacation of for those people want to enjoy travel around the world.  Advertising and offering service of every tavel agency is all about busines demands.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy now or wait? on: October 13, 2019, 10:45:43 PM
I do nit like to blame everyone out there but in my own view and analysis now is the right time to buy some couns and bitcoin before too late, because I think after this drops bitcoin in the rest pf the altcoins specially ethereum are possible to guve earn. But make do your own decisions.
275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4 reasons why Bitcoin has bottomed out on: October 13, 2019, 10:38:27 PM
There are definitely some indicators that Bitcoin is bottoming out. However, when looking at a macro perspective and taking into considering the global financial markets, it doesn't look quite so pretty.

The US and Europe are dangerously close to a recession, which is likely to bring down the cryptocurrency markets with it. Contrary to popular belief, people actually tend to avoid more experimental assets during times of economic uncertainty, so even if the traditional markets collapse, Bitcoin will likely follow.

Yeah exactly sir that is truly correct if the traditional markets collopse thatnis surely bitcoin is affected and the whole crypto currency, it's simple reason bitcoin peice value is depending in the usd so far, but bitcoin is have an own movement. That is not nly my own opinion and view.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Things Successful ICOs Have in Common. on: October 13, 2019, 10:30:22 PM
We have noticed that a lot of successful ICOs have exhibited common factors. One of these is their use of hype. Another is a detailed presentation of the company's roadmap.

That is true successful ICO have exhibited common factpr like roadamp and whitepaper presentation of the project but be careful even fake project are using that way to hype their project to scam the investor's.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every tiny piece of Bitcoin is worth it! on: October 13, 2019, 10:11:54 PM
(...)
Seriously this made me think twice and have made me roam through all my exchange accounts and wallets making sure that i have access to them in order to cash out all those pieces of bitcoin if they ever become worth it again.
Let's hope also that those exchange will not close until the time you wish for. Especially waiting to double the price of Bitcoin.

To avoid scarry for the possible closing of the some exchange choose strong exchange like binance, bittrex cincase, poloniex that exchange I guarantee that said exchange is surely stable  less worry for the security of the investment.

278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Altcoins ? on: October 12, 2019, 11:54:25 PM
There are some altcoins that will have a commercial future as they become the central hub of business activity. Like for example Vsys or Libra. While most shitcoins would just die a slow and painful death.

However, we will have a future where stablecoins become the staple of cryptocurrency-centric transactions. We're already 98% digital in all our daily economic transactional requirements, and we'll get to that crypto future soon if we all made a conscious effort. Of course, it would involve a lot of politics, but it is what it is.

This really great thoughts and Yes libra have an potential to become successful coins in the future in the help of the social media easy to convince peole to invest into this new coins, we should all know libra is developer is one of the most popular social media in theworld so nothing doubt for the success of this project.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 12, 2019, 11:44:50 PM
I can still see a bright future with cryptocurrency. and this type of currency will not succeed or reach the top without the help of bounty hunter and campaigns.
We might be getting a little of what we had in 2017 but still, we can earn here, And there will be more great projects to come and the community will rise again.
I want to make sure that I am still working as a bounty participant once it happen.

Yes I agree with you mate, bounty is one of the profitable ways to eran profits and bounty is have alot of contributions in the crypto currency space to privide a lot of altcoins and now use it in trading as alternative crypto currency. So nothing doubt bounty is good but need to be carefull choosing bounty because some people use it for bad ways.
280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading fees really matter ? on: October 12, 2019, 11:39:58 PM
Most of the exchanges have a minimal trading fees of about 0.25%
I see many people discussing trading fees here and there and that how high the trading fees is.
Does 0.25% really make a huge difference if you are earning at least more than 2% ?

There's no choice for that mate exchange is all about business tha need also to get profits of the owner or developers. If you looking for the low fees in your trading job I suggest try poloniex low fee and secured I am not promoting poloniex and I have nothing connection I only give a choice for your problem what are you looking for.
