261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 07, 2017, 10:57:39 PM
I think if bitcoin is approved in education, and it is used by the country, it is better because students will have a background of it and it may be used in their daily living. Not only that, students get to know how does it works and how to earn one at their you age that can be helpful to chabge their way of living, if they wanted to. They can now compete with others by bitcoin and share some knowledge about different people and in that way bitcoin can be known in the whole world.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: September 07, 2017, 10:48:14 PM
What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* Work offline 100%
* No fees.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments
* 0 confermations time
* 0 exchange risks
* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment
Yes, somehow, and bitcoin doesn't apply to all parts of the world. Not all countries are introduced to bitcoin, are they? Still many people doesn't know about it, and I, who earn bitcoins, convert to my country's currency. So I think, for now, cash is still dominating.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: August 31, 2017, 05:26:23 AM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
Anything can change in 100 years, but I think bitcoin is still existing and it is the currency of the whole world after 100 years. There'll be no paper money and all transactions would process through internet.   Everyone would be cardless because all their money will be stored in the internet
264  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: August 31, 2017, 04:29:27 AM
I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.

1) More security (especially if you are careful).

2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.

3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.

4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.
These four things are true, and I want to add that cash, for some, is hard to earn; you must be qualified to have income in a certain job. In bitcoin, whatever you are, no matter how old you are, you can easily earn and have bitcoins and it is surely safe. That's why I prefer bitcoin a lot than cash.
265  Economy / Economics / How to invest in bitcoin? on: August 31, 2017, 12:27:04 AM
I have seen many ways to earn bitcoin, and still not familiar with some of it. I am a student and I wanna ask how to invest in bitcoin, and if students like me are capable of doing that already?

Please share your thoughts. Thanks.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: August 30, 2017, 03:57:27 PM
The miners mine and hold, other mine and sell.

Investors and speculators buy, hold and sell.

You can buy random items in auctions and through the forums.

What are the reasons for the bulk of the bitcoin transfers? I read an article underlying the "dark side" of the internet and TOR network, and they seem to point out that bitcoins are now nearly the exclusive currency for the online "black market" (Note, they are not saying bitcoins are exclusively used for black market transactions)

What have you used bitcoins for?

Miner
Investor
Black Market
Other - explain

I don't plan to have my bitcoins invested, because I'm still young and I don't know how to. For now my plans for my bitcoins is to save it up until I can buy the first thing I want to buy through bitcoins, and I want to help my family in our daily expenses. Earning bitcoins as a student is helpful for me because at this young age, I can help my family and have the things I want to buy.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: August 30, 2017, 03:29:20 PM
I store my bitcoins in a wallet, it is coins.ph and there I store up my earned bitcoins. When I don't need to cash out money, I just keep my bitcoins there. It is safe and reliable to use, and also, easy to understand how to use it. For now, I haven't verified my account so I can't cash out my bitcoins.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: August 30, 2017, 12:46:50 PM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?
I will save my bitcoins in future purposes. Investing it is not in my plans because I am still a newbie and still afraid to take a risk. For now I am joining signature campaigns to earn and save it for future because I am planning to convert it into my country's currency and use it for expenses.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: August 30, 2017, 12:34:02 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
Same with my country, there's no TV ad about bitcoins. For me, I think bitcoin should stick around in the new media so that the people who can access it will be a netizen and they have been using internet for years with different purposes. Maybe many people will be confused if it will be advertised on TV and there are people who still doesn't know how to access entirely the internet.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: August 29, 2017, 05:03:37 PM
Hey Bitcoiners? I'm desperate to start earning BTC
I'll do any kind of online activity as long as there's a Bitcoin payment. Where do I start?
Join in signature campaigns; these can be helpful to you and it is exactly what are you finding. You can also have translations; you can also earn here without investing. You can find companies or groups that are finding accounts that can handle signature campaigns and promote their project or product. Go to the Marketplace. Hoping this would be helpful.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: August 29, 2017, 04:47:23 PM
I was just wondering that is it possible to earn steady income without going 8-5 hours regular office job.. I mean you got some bitcoin in your wallet .. are you the enough for living ?

another option is to regularly working on Bitcoin related trading/activites .. that earn you enough amt of monthly income ..

what's your opinion

Note: this is not for poor fellow who just discovered bitcoin or altcoins
If you're not good enough in earning bitcoins, I suggest to those people that do not let go of their traditional jobs. If you have a decent and stable job it is good while earning bitcoins for additional income. Giving up your physical job is truly a risky thing especially if you don't know clearly how bitcoin runs. I strongly advise not to let go of it. You're risking your daily needs if you remain in bitcoin only. There's no problem if you have a regular income in bitcoin; then if you wish to stop your physical job, stop it. If and only if you are having bitcoins regularly, you can let go of the job. It's your choice.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: August 29, 2017, 04:24:44 PM
I think Bitcoin in Asia is becoming more popular. It is because most of the people are treating it as a means of living, I know a couple of people who gets their daily needs through his income in bitcoin whether it'd be joining campaigns in this forum or through profits from trading. They really treat it as a job at home honestly speaking.
Yes, this is true. I am an Asian and I am only a teenager. My plans when I earn bitcoin are for my family needs and for my hobbies. Some may think that it is weird but it is really the reason why I came to bitcoin and of course, discovering new things about bitcoin is an additonal for it. It becomes a hobby, too.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: August 28, 2017, 11:42:28 AM
Yes, I think it is possible for bitcoin to lose its value but only temporary. It will eventually gain back its value or greater than before. As you take the risk in joining bitcoin, there's a lot of instances and opportunities you will face and I think it is the benefit of using it. Maybe it will hit rock bottom but there's only way to escape from it: it will surely go up. It is risky but there's so many things that are great in bitcoin.
274  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 28, 2017, 10:59:04 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
In saving money in bank, it is like investing but you'll only get a few interest, in saving online, you are just literally 'saving' it, in case you have bitcoins, it may go up or down; it depends. I think it is better to invest it online but be sure that it is proved safe and your money will not be lost. For me, I will save money for now because I'm still young and still learning.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: August 28, 2017, 10:49:58 AM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
Yes, it's not impossible to happen. In my case, I really don't have bitcoins for now becuase I'm still in the process of learning and exploring bitcoin. I have joined in signature campaign and it is not that bad. Actually it is helpful for me as a student because I need it for my projects and activities in the school.  If I have saved enough money, I'll buy a new phone.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: August 26, 2017, 02:29:56 PM
I've been talking about Bitcoin to family, friends and random people for years and nobody seemed to mind when BTC was under $1000. But now that Bitcoin has reached $2000, people are starting to realize that owning 1 BTC is beginning to be out of reach for the average person.

I've had more people ask me about Bitcoin lately and wanted help buying Bitcoins. What about you?
I discovered bitcoin 2 months ago and was introduced by my classmate. At first I really don't get it and how does it work and how do people earn money through this but as I read and read in different forums about bitcoin, I have learned something more and slowly I understand the process of bitcoin. Now I have introduced it to my mother and wanted to try it but I said that it's not that easy to understand unless you are really willing to join and earn through bitcoin.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: August 26, 2017, 01:41:10 PM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.
In my case, I'll use it for both. First for fun like buying the things that I want and go to the places with friends or family so that I may have a quality time with them. For future purposes, I want to help my parents by contributing to the financial needs of our family, and I want to give a part in the house they wanted to buy for us. I really want to help them as a thank you present for the things they have done to me.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: August 26, 2017, 01:34:08 PM
The possibility. Bitcoin has only it's future ahead of it and it can be wildly successful, I hope it is. I hope it's able to be a safe alternative for people. I hope it's able to keep some bad practices in control. Competition is a good thing and competition among currencies in a country doesn't exist.
I agree with this. Besides of the bitcoin is easier for trading and investing, it opened many possibilities in the competency of currencies in different countries. Also, bitcoin can be used by all kinds of people so it can be introduced to those who are interested in this kind of trading.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 24, 2017, 12:52:20 AM
It is not necessarily to be 'rich', because people have their own ways on how they want to use their bitcoin. Maybe just to buy things that they want, or support the needs of their family, others may want to save it for something big, and many other ways. Maybe being 'rich' is one, but it doesn't mean that you'll become rich if you are using bitcoin.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 23, 2017, 11:53:28 PM
My bitcoin dream is to have btc in my own wallet since I am a beginner, and earn more bitcoins by having signature campaign. I also want to rank up to the highest and I want to know more about bitcoin, add some knowledge that I didn't know before so that I could actively participate in different threads.
