261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A bigger dip to come? on: January 21, 2018, 05:22:56 AM
Do you guys think there will come a bigger dip than 2-3 days ago (in a short term)?
No, I believe fud is over, it served its purpose and everything will return as it was before it  Roll Eyes
I don't see a reason for another crash to come right after this last one. Maybe if there is some big news about a country banning cryptos there is a chance to create another crash, but not soon (I hope).
Big news? You mean fud about some country banning. I don't know what news I should take serious so I don't pay attention to news too much any more.

I think FUDs are never going to end. Nowadays, FUDs and other news are used as a tool for manipulation of the market. Though some news are obviously not true, those who are using bitcoin for their living definitely can be shaken easily. I do not doubt that bitcoin can rise from today but we should all be more careful since volatility is much drastic and any time people can spread out news. Higher risks are expected.

The banning of bitcoins in a country is just temporary. Government holds it for the meantime maybe for a greater purpose.
262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it chance to jump in? on: January 20, 2018, 10:31:29 PM
Yeah, the bloodbath was great and enjoyed the $9.5k drop. I think that was the lowest drop after reaching the maximum price of Twenty thousand dollars mark.
And that was the greatest time to buy.
But still, choices are up to you if you are going to risk with bitcoin's volality. It was a crazy start for this year.
I don't doubt what bitcoins can do. Also I don't mind the prices, I just enjoy being involved. I feel like I am honoured as a student I guess.
I think it will rise by midyear.
263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dip over? on: January 20, 2018, 01:36:13 PM
Kinda, still I am not assuring that $12.4k will be stable mark for now. It was about $11.3k mark in 3-4 days and thinking that its increase is a healthy one.
Prices are still moving aggressively and I also think that the FUDs spreading is one of the factors.
Hoping for a steady mark with a bit of an increase. I would not be asking to much. I'd want a stable price or less volatile one rather that seeing it go skyrocket then fall that much again.
If I were you I won't be worried by this time. It's recovering again.
264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wiil bitcoin price raise up again? on: January 20, 2018, 01:25:58 PM
Well, you are still a newbie and while taking your time here try focusing on other features of bitcoin rather than just its financial profits.
But still I would like to say confidently that i t will rise again but hoping for a less drastic one to avoid a huge corrections causing so many users to panic sell.
If your a business man or investor, you should focus on the market price. There are chances to buy cheaper and watch out for crazy movements. I do hope your brave enough to face risks. It's still your choice and you are liable to any actions you will be doing.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC to FIAT on: January 19, 2018, 10:01:51 AM
The key in my experience is to keep transactions small and uninteresting.    Don't do $50,000 a month in one transaction.   Break it up into $100.24 to $527.43 type transactions daily across 5 or 6 bank accounts.

Not a bad idea. Well, I have have any problems cashing out my bitcoins to fiat yet I am a bit worried. I don't have any bank accounts yet where I can transfer my earnings I do this through remittance centers.
But incase I open up a account in the future I would keep this in mind.
Also the once in a month thing is white a good technique.

I hope those things you've heard are not true incase.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you start from zero cash and make a living with the opportunities in crypto? on: January 19, 2018, 07:02:48 AM
I don't prefer making a living from cryptocurrencies but gaining some from scratch is possible. I won't at the first place because I think it's a bit unfair for those who invested. Those who invested their money that they have worked for. And I don't want to be one of those who spent the free profits here without contrubuting to the market itself.
Well I have said that earning from scratch is true and everyone knows it. Also, this is the reason why there was a sudden crowd in this forum which I prefer is not a good thing.
Well, though I am thankful that sometimes I get lucky to be picked from the applicants, I still do my small business to contribute somehow.
Sometimes I mine but very difficult, I trade and sometimes I just focus on my small business that makes me circulate my bitcoin.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am worried! on: January 19, 2018, 06:11:02 AM
Correct me if I am wrong but are you here because of greed too? You are worried that FUDs and noobs will go walking out and will cause big crashes?

Well I think you're one of those you are pertaining to. Well it's good to hear that you won't be one of the panic sellers yet I advise you to focus on the bigger picture that bitcoins can do and already providing us.

Don't worry because this kind of events is never new.
I started to learn more and would probably study more before being involve in other activities.
I don't mind the prices.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used for its actual purpose on: January 18, 2018, 05:50:33 AM
https://99bitcoins.com/who-accepts-bitcoins-payment-companies-stores-take-bitcoins/

I already posted this link before. I just don't have proofs that they do accept bitcoins.
What are the odds.

Also, I think bitcoin is made for its purpose and the income thing is just bonuses here. I think the income part is one way of gaining amount of bitcoin for everyone and make it more accessible.

In our country, it is made for OFWs to have cheaper and faster transactions to serve families.
And the wallet here are credited to be connected to particular schools, banks and remittances to make payments easier.
I am still hoping that it will be extended in other programs and markets.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin redistributes wealth or just makes the wealthy richer? on: January 17, 2018, 11:14:21 AM
Wealth distribution is when wealth of rich people are distributed to poor people. Which I think is not happening.
The monetary gain in bitcoin depends on how well you use bitcoin as capital or investment.
Bitcoin is created for Financial freedom and it means we are in control of our gains and losses.
You may say that rich can be richer because their investments are just a part of the their wealth that they could leave until they see profits again. While ooor people invest maybe forty or fifty percent of their income just to be involved in bitcoins.?
270  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will bitcoin go? on: January 17, 2018, 10:41:57 AM
Well it's about $10500.00 at the moment. Surely many are panic selling contributing to this great decrease as well as due to FUDs spreading all around not just here in the forum but other social media.
Contrary, I think the bloodbath will attract more investors due to cheaper prices. Many will be on the ride again soon.
I will be holding my coins not because I am expecting hikes but because I have faith in bitcoins as a technology advancement.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen to bitcoin? Going down. a correction? on: January 17, 2018, 10:30:31 AM
Today it's hard to determine what is the major factor causing bitcoin to go down. Too much FUD are spreading and we would not know which is real or not.
But the great pump last year  too good to be true that is why we should not be surprised about it decreases drastically these days.
Let us just stay tuned and inform ourselves with real news that has real references and expect things to happen in the future.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and ETH are Shitcoins on: January 17, 2018, 09:52:44 AM
I think both Bitcoins and ETH served you well for years ( based on how long you spend here based on your rank ), and yet you have that thick of a skin saying bitcoins and eth are scam and shitcoins ?
Do have more proof next time.
Grieving is okay about our present problem but not by spreading FUD and trash talking about the most used coins today. All of us are experiencing the same problem.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will die if this is not sorted out on: January 17, 2018, 09:41:05 AM
Bitcoin and other crypto coins will die a slow death if they do not sort out the high transaction fees and the stuffed up slow arsed networks. People will just get fed up with it in the end  Angry
The most who have this problem is probably bitcoin, some coins are just fine with their transaction fees and transfer speed.
I just remembered the first transaction that I've ever made with bitcoin it is just 1 freaking dollar that time confirmations take place within 20 minutes
1 hour is the longest, but now bct service board got tons of tx speed up confirmations, I hope devs will fix the issues at the right time.

Bitcoins won't die because of slow transactions and high fees. Not unless it causes users to abandon it. No users, bitcoins won't have any value.

I also think that it's a bit unfair to compare bitcoins to other clubs because bitcoins are have higher demand which is the reason why there is traffic causing high transaction fees.
Other coins on the other hand have no scaling problem because there is nothing to scale.

Lightning network is the only idea that some think will resolve the problem. Yet we need to be patient, if we rush things out, we might waste a good formula.

I think the price today is still enormous. Before bitcoins pump tonits maximum, it's price is $5k. Still no losses that I have found.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Different From Other Currencies? on: January 17, 2018, 02:54:01 AM
I see you compare bitcoins to fiat.
Well simply they have different forms. Fiat is tangible and bitcoins are digital currencies.
Fiat maybe more convenient to use buying small value things such as candies coffies and other necessities for now.
Bitcoins are convenient in money transactions locally or internationally through decentralization. Low fees.

I think both currencies are convenient to use depending on how and for what you will use them.
We should stop thinking about which is better because they are both useful.
Also both have risks and disadvantages.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think this crash is good on: January 17, 2018, 01:48:09 AM
I agree that people will think that bitcoin is less profitable particularly this time. Bitcoin for monetary reasons will be lessen. It just saddened me that early investors gained tok much that new adaptors lost what they have invested.
With the current price, many will be panicking and will probably withdraw now to cut off there losses.

On the other hand, I think many investors will be happy with the cheaper prices now.
But still, users will leave to cut their loss and investors will take over the major percentage in the market giving them the power to manipulate the prices.
In my opinion, I think one day soon, bitcoin will just be accessible to business investors. And other industrial purposes.
I think devs should see this now and promote it to stores as soon as possible so that users will not see bitcoin as a source of income.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's the best altcoin? on: January 16, 2018, 03:28:30 AM
Anyone give a suggestion on what's the best coin?

The one that gives you the most money, duh!

There is no room for trial and error because money is involved. That is why we look for suggestions, to avoid more loses.

I would go with ETH. Like bitcoin, it deserves its fame and worth. Eventhough there are some technical differences between the two, it wont let you down in purpose and capability.
I think ETH is good for trading.

NOTE: try to do your own research to avoid everyone who suggested altcoins here to be liable for your loss.
Knowledge will guide you.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine Bitcoin recognized around the world. on: January 16, 2018, 02:53:06 AM
Do you think there will be a chance that bitcoin will be recognized by all people around the world? If so, what would you contribute for the success of bitcoin in adapting human culture?

Defining the word RECOGNIZED, to know bitcoin and remember it because of its use and as technological development ?
to accept or be aware that bitcoin is true or exists or
to accept and approve bitcoin as having legal or official authority?

Well, first bitcoin can be known worldwide, that is what social media is for.
Second, it EXISTS.
Thirdly, we can observe how government act accordingly to their understanding what bitcoin could do economically.
Some respond negatively due to some negative usage of the technology which somehow just.

Contribution for bitcoin is easy, USE IT. We must use it wisely and use it with cautions. That's what the government wants(eg. In our country). I think with collaboration, it will work harmoniously.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is making us money while we sleep, people! on: January 15, 2018, 11:32:16 PM
Well I do agree that it makes profit big time. And those who have bitcoins since day one are very luck and already have fortunes today. Bitcoin definitely showed off this year.
But the way you said that it make money in our sleep will only make sense if volality are aggressive positively.
There is not so much for new comers with small investment which on the other hand makes profit for early adaptors.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we keep converting bitcoin back to dollars ? on: January 15, 2018, 01:33:59 AM
It's almost like we don't value it for itself, but what it's worth in "real" money.

Valuing bitcoin doesn't mean JUST HODL or TRADE. Using it as a currency is one way of valuing it and that includes selling it.
As long as we make transactions we can say that we value it. Using it primarily meaning it is being valued.

On the other hand, people may convert it back to Dollars or any Fiat money because we can't deny that stores do not accept until today and we need to buy necessities. There are some but not in every country.
280  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-06] Christmas Charity Campaign: Cryptocommunity to Support Newborns Tre on: January 15, 2018, 01:23:41 AM
Now this is what I hoped for. It's gives me more reason to use cryptocurrencies. Everything that involves health boosts my interest.
I think that technologies like this is not just for the sake of earning but also helping those who needed it more.

My concern about charities is that how will we know if a charity program is legit. And I agree about what will they do with bitcoins? Turn to fiat? I think volality will be affecting such decisions.

And yes greediness will possibly occur because we know many rich people, group or country wanted to share. And this will be a huge amount. Money turns people into monsters until no good reaches those who needed it.
