261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: April 02, 2020, 10:33:57 PM
What most gambling addicts will do when they know that all casinos are closed, they will continue to play gambling with the same
online. Because now there are many gambling sites online. Then if you find out that the casino has reopened, then most of it will
return to their old ways.

Most casinos are indeed closed, because there are countries that are getting worse. What you say is indeed the right thing, online gambling is the right solution for people who are addicted to playing gambling. Although it's sometimes different, play directly in the casino and play gambling online.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: April 02, 2020, 10:12:25 PM
Honestly this pandemic is much more important than football right now, we should not be discussing how to play games, we should be discussing how we can keep them at home.

That's what the CDC and WHO are for, Everyone here also does care about humanity more than sports, but there is not too much we can do, discussing resumption or how play should wouldn't increase or stop the impact the virus has made thus far. A larger percentage of the individuals have always been suffering hunger, homelessness, terrorist acts and wars, but that never stopped prompted global awareness, I'm not saying the covid-19 should be taken any less seriously, but that shouldn't mean we can't have any discussion that doesn't include eradicating the virus at will.

What we can only do from this pandemic is to obey the policies of the government where you live. For example in my country, the policy is at home. For the sake of breaking the chain of the virus, so it does not spread again. With that alone we care about humanity, but discussing sports doesn't hurt.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: April 02, 2020, 09:50:17 PM
The first time I saw a list in various countries for a minimum age in gambling, I was surprised that where 5 years had played casino. In my country 5 years still playing like a child in general. 18+ years is the right kind in my country for gambling. If it's below that, then it still can. but the gamble in question is only local gambling.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: April 02, 2020, 09:22:09 PM
I know that in some countries lockdowns may occur in their countries. Many casinos are closed, but I can still make bets on online gambling. I even gambled on several sites, to fill my time and try to get profit in playing online gambling.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 02, 2020, 09:01:51 PM
however Juventus have set a good example all the players have accepted the 30% salary reduction until they return to play, it seems that the league has decided (to be confirmed) that all the remaining matches will be played and the championship will end at half July...

The 30% cut was actually big, but because there really wasn't a match played. Then the salary deduction is a very appropriate solution. Maybe there are some clubs who do not like this method. But it all depends on the club involved in it.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 02, 2020, 08:39:47 PM
Eddie Howe is a top manager, he probably deserves a job at a bigger club. He tries to make his team play the right way, there’s no parking the bus.

I don't know much about Eddie Howe as a manager. But if this manager is really good for a higher club, then I think there will be clubs interested in recruiting him as a manager. Let's wait, is there a club that is interested or is he still in the club right now.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 02, 2020, 08:19:46 PM
Coutinho (Bayern Munich) to Leicester City!?  Shocked https://twitter.com/sport/status/1244980906198261760

Not an April Fools joke, article was released yesterday...Maybe the foxes are getting ready to sell Maddison so they started looking for a new creative midfielder?

And Coutinho knows he won't play in Bayern or Barca next season so, this could be a smart move for him, i mean, he needs 1st team football every weekend if he wants to go the next Copa America with Brazil.
The coutinho transfer rumor to Leicester city isn't that random... but yeah people would consider it as a downgrade.

From the best club in the world Barcelona & Bayern Munich to a mediocre club like Leicester of course it would be a big surprise for everyone .
He should get back to liverpool instead but it seems there's no place for him now.
And also Manchester United rumored interested to land him to old Trafford hmmm

He shouldn't have left Liverpool.  Klopp was pleading for him to stay cos he was gonna build his squad around him.  He could've been a club legend...  Oh well.

And yes please.  Send him to Man U.  Cheesy

Coutinho certainly wanted to just go back to Liverpool, but there really was no place for him anymore. Because liverpool I think it's enough without Coutinho there.

And for Coutinho Leicester City, indeed it was a big downturn. If it happened otherwise from Leicester to Bayern maybe that could be said to be a good improvement.

Very bad luck for Coutinho, like not so lucky in every club.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: March 26, 2020, 02:08:26 PM
Because I like to play gambling, I have entered several sites. And gambling is fun in personal experience, because by gambling I can make money with the victory that I experienced. Although sometimes losing more than winning, it's really fun.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 20, 2020, 08:58:20 PM

I think this corona will set a lot of people back on addiction because everyone is isolated at home and they have nothing to do, they don't go to work and they they are basically stuck at home. So of course a lot of people will be working at home and they are totally focusing on gambling by the looks of it which is why there will be a lot more people gambling, and there would be some people who recently quit or maybe quit a bit ago that will relapse and start gambling again.

Hopefully this won't take too long and we will once again go outside, the more we stay inside the more addictions will get worse, not just gambling but other ones as well and that is why it is risky, think of all the people who needs to go to therapy who can't because of it, people who go to psychologist and so forth, basically all have to stuck at home and can't get the help they need.
That's the problem with people who are already attached to this problem, after getting lots of time inside their house they can easily turn their back to again play the games they wanted to play. Addictions to this activities needs a broader help coming from your close relatives, they needed to keep you
busy to other things and not to allow you to be alone since you can just play and gamble back.

If most people at home are addicted to it will be increasingly crazy, which at home is very easy to play gambling. And also if the addiction is too severe, then I'm sure the person concerned will play even more. Because it is impossible for people to survive in the house without doing anything, while the relevant hobby is playing gambling.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 20, 2020, 05:22:21 PM
-snip-
There are no sports matches, so I think gambling addicts can switch to other gambling and that is a reasonable choice for them. If they dont like to bet other than sports, stop for a while until the virus pandemic is resolved and use the time to gather with your beloved family.

The point is the lockdown is currently being carried out in almost every corner of the world I think will not limit gambling addicts to bet and gambling will continue even if there are no sports matches.

For Sports, because of the crowds of every sport. Then it cannot be forced for a match, and all must obey the rules in the country concerned.

And as you said, if you want to gamble then it's better to gamble online. And fill in lots more time for a new atmosphere in every gambling game.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 20, 2020, 04:35:51 PM

What are alternatives most sports betting users are now switching to?

There are two possibilities that will occur, when sports betting for now no longer exists. First, maybe gamblers will rest for a while and wait for updates related to this virus. Second is maybe they will play gambling, but not for sports but for other gambling games. which can be done online.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com odds on: March 20, 2020, 01:48:56 AM
I now prefer playing Crash, where I have a good strategy. I placed cashout 3x-5x and added a bet of 75% when I lost.

I think this strategy or opportunity is good for me, of course, for others I might not know. But it can be tried.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 19, 2020, 11:55:58 PM
It’s a bit disrespectful of Pogba to be captured wearing the Juve shirt. I think we all know his heart lies away from Man Utd though. He’ll move in the summer most likely.
Most chances he will go to Juventus because his heart is already in Italy and Juventus will also try to have him in their squad after cleaning of this Corona.

Pogba is more developed in Juventus than in Manchester United. In fact, not many developments occur, such as rigid in every game. I'm sure Pogba still has the potential to be able to develop again, but not in Manchester United. But on Juventus!
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 19, 2020, 11:27:03 PM
Why not lockdown the thread for a while

without any actual football to discuss

I guess if people are in self isolation they enjoy chatting about the football, just general football chat.
April 30th is when the league plans to start again any way.
Its mean this time we have very short break with next season start in August and this is going to end in July likely if we have start again.

I don’t think locking this thread down is such a great idea, instead we should now focus on discussing what this season now holds for us. I’m referring to the following: 1) Liverpool will finally win a Premier League title, (but they’ll never be as great as Manchester United is.) 2) Manchester United finishes in top 4, and that means Sancho is coming and I’m pretty excited for his arrival. 3) Last and most importantly what happens to City if their ban is not over ruled therefore you’ll see we have so much to discuss till the league resumes again.

https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1257480/Manchester-United-transfer-news-Jadon-Sancho-Ole-Gunnar-Solskjaer-tactic

I just agree if this topic is locked.
But if it is not required, then we can still discuss even if it's not about the match. Because this delay isn't too long either. Well, maybe April we will see the latest developments.

As said @Juggy777, the information conveyed was very useful, because I don't really have to know every update that happens at EPL.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Corona virus (COVID19) Effect in Cryptocurrency Gambling on: March 19, 2020, 11:00:39 PM
The development of this virus is indeed increasing every day in several countries. That is certainly very influential on sports betting, but for gambling games such as dice or other gambling games. Then it doesn't really matter, I keep gambling dice now.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 19, 2020, 10:34:05 PM

I often see these kind of comments, but I don't know how can anyone compare those two. You could easily ask why should computer programmer earn $5000 a month when worker at a cash register works more hours and gets way less money.

Top football players are in high demand and that's why they get high salary. They aren't payed that much because they can run 90 minutes 300 days a year.

I know but is a fact they are workers, privileged workes with an "easy" job to do.
If normal workers work 8 hours a day for 2k month salary they should not even try to complain if they need to work 1 month more, probably with more hundreds of K as salary.

Because you know that are "extra hours" and will probably paid as extra work and yes not only 2k, not even 2k for DAY for 3 hours of training. (a lot more)

All occupations have risks and income. Football is not just an ordinary sport, in which there is a running business. Therefore every soccer player can get a bigger salary, because every field of the job is different.

To be sure, don't ever complain. We never know what burden everyone feels at work.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Casino with good Investment Returns? on: March 18, 2020, 11:57:14 PM
I have never invested in any gambling projects, I just play on sites that I think are good games in them. Because if you want to invest, I think that there are so many gambling sites that exist today. And hoping to get profits is certainly very difficult, plus the current conditions like this.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 18, 2020, 09:22:21 PM
I learned about neuroscience and also meditation..  we were taught to control the mind, addicts (gambling, sex or other) are people who are unable to control their minds.  there is also one more way, namely, by the following hypnotherapy, the addict is hypnotized and then given a suggestion to reduce or even stop gambling..  strengthen your resolve, if you want to let go of your gambling addiction because you yourself are the owner of your body and mind.

Yes I read something about this in one book and it's highly recommended for those who want and very determined to stop gambling it's effective to the majority of the gamblers and I think there are pieces of evidence the success ratio is higher to those who are determined to stop gambling its part of the healing package of some professionals.

I don't know how to work or not, but indeed hypnosis is one way to get into the thoughts of the person concerned. But for me, the way I often do is fight ourselves and think logically. Thinking about what will happen if we continue to play gambling and throw away our money, I keep thinking about this. so I realized gambling addiction was a bad thing indeed.

Weekends are becoming very dull with no football aren’t they. When do we think it’ll all recommence, early May?

Same thing with me every weekend watching football but now nothing because it was delayed due to Covid-19 really boring to stay at home.

I think waiting for the situation first if the vaccine is found soon then I am sure it will be even earlier.

It was boring, there were no activities like weekends as usual. Even too boring for me.

We will wait 2 weeks to get or even more and whether there are further announcements when it will start again or take a break longer.
2 Weeks is nothing its going to take some long time most probably we will have some good news in May because currently nothing good and positive news coming for any one from any where in this Corona era.

That means 5 more weeks, we are waiting for announcements or good news. What will the mechanism look like after the EPL match has been postponed for a long time. Surely EPL must be completed in full calendar time.

Updates:
Perhaps many people have read the news that the positive Arsenal (Arteta) Coach has identified the corona virus, now his condition has begun to improve and now he has started working at home.

The death toll from Francisco Garcia discloses that strong men can be killed by the virus, no matter what they are players, athletics, or trainers (coaches).
It's true what you said, but it's important to mention that he was battling with cancer, if I'm not mistaken IV stage. So, it's very likely that this illness made he more vulnerable and this is why lost battle with Coronavirus. RIP.

https://www.marca.com/en/football/spanish-football/2020/03/18/5e72353c268e3e7c1d8b4577.html
Deportivo Alaves confirmed 15 infected players and staff members. It's 3rd team, after Valencia and Espanyol with confirmed COVID-19 cases. Spain is second most infected country in Europe, so it's very likely that we will see more similar news from other teams in next days...

Most people who die from the corona virus, have a history of previous illnesses. So that the chances of survival will be very little, plus the virus that approached. Therefore from that age over 50 years most died, due to the complexity of the previous illness.
