261  Local / India / Re: Best indian Peer to Peer or Fiat Exchange on: June 16, 2019, 05:08:45 PM
If OP is still looking for a place to buy or sell bitcoin for INR then localbitcoin is the only place as far as I know because most of the exchange doesn't support fiat withdrawal from india due to restrictions from RBI so get bitcoin through traders on LBC or us forum to find a trader with trusted escrow.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still investing in ICOs? Let me know! on: June 16, 2019, 02:32:05 PM
I'm still investing in ICOs even though it's just a little bit bigger than IEO but I'm also sure that when the ICOs get rid of it, it's a big money I can earn.
Not sure where you are investing more.

If it is ICO over IEO can I know what made you to invest more on ICOs?

Simply saying money earning is high not acceptable.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still investing in ICOs? Let me know! on: June 15, 2019, 04:51:17 PM
Hey guys.

I do currently ask myself if the ICO market will bounce back?. In how many ICOs do you typically invest and what is the average investement?.

Let me know.

I do currently work with a team on an ICO and i find it very important to understand the community and their investment habbits in 2019

Glad to hear the opinion of the bitcointalk community.
Not myself personally but there are lot of people still investing on ICO projects that is why new ICOs keep popping up everyday. But if you are part of ICO team you need to have strong determination about making the project successful and developed no matter of how many people following which is the thing more important for an ICO project because lot of team just  don't make it developed if they are not getting their desired profits.
264  Local / India / Any reputed member or merit sources here? on: June 15, 2019, 04:05:48 PM
Our locale board doesn't have moderator for a while and even some people made proposal for to be moderator but still there is no positive sign for moderators.

But atleast we need some merit sources which can be useful for the newbie to identify which is better quality posts.

Anyone here?
265  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: June 15, 2019, 02:54:50 PM
I don't see any risk for me while using bitcoins and I feel my transactions are completely safe compared to banking method transactions.

If your country doesn't allow holding of cryptos but still your are holding it will put you in risk but nothing other risk for using bitcoin as I can feel.

Bitcoin being Bitcoin is a risk of itself.

We all know how volatile Bitcoin is and that is usually the reason investors do not want to use it or do anything related to it. It is true that there are a lot of people that want to invest in it but also, there are people that do not want to invest in it because it is a risk.
OP asking about any legal issues facing while using bitcoin so I didn't make any comment related to the prices.

267  Local / Press & News from India / Re: ISIS Collected Donations in Bitcoin Before Sri Lanka Church Bombing on: June 15, 2019, 09:26:55 AM
Media can decorate anything in the way they wanted so if we are seeing a news related this then it is not a big surprise. But anyone has the proof of who is ISIS?

As for me it was created by US government to destroy all the countries who don't accept US policies.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hardware wallets safe? on: June 15, 2019, 08:08:53 AM
Hardware wallets are meant to be safe but the safety will be the based on how how secure we are keeping the private keys and the wallets.there are many hardware wallets available for cryptocurrencies to read but only very few were trusted enough to store any amount of cryptocurrencies so you also need to buy that one and keep your cryptocurrency safer remember buy hardware wallet only from the official website or you will lose your money as well.

I think trezor is good hardwallet. Hardware more secure to store our coin and token because not connected with internet. But the important think is always careful suspicious link on our email because most of it is phising link
Yes,even after having hardware wallet we need to be more cautious about the phishing links. And also have good protection for your system.with premium antivirus which can save you from malcious link most of the time.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to bitcoin in india on: June 15, 2019, 07:24:15 AM
Indians are fast adopting bitcoin in their country because have worked with some blockchain projects with team from Indian, I believe things will work out smoothly for the citizen in the usage of cryptocurrency in a whole but there's definitely room for growth for the Indian blockchain community.
Not all Indian blockchain developers are from India, almost Indians living in more than 200 countries with citizenship on the current living country so don't get excited by seeing Indian on any project and they were at the project just because they are not at this country.
270  Local / India / Re: Do you still hold BTC or ETH as the price keeps going down? on: June 15, 2019, 06:21:57 AM
There are many people having the knowledge of crypto currency and holding it as well but they are not expressing themselves about this to others even with friends which is the reason why adoption rate is much lower in India.

But still on localbitcoins we can able to sell or buy bitcoins at instantly with INR or lot other methods which always keep the price of bitcoin to be higher than world's market price.

Marketplace is the appropriate section for this thread or there are some child boards which may fit as well.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Bitter Truth about Bounties on: June 14, 2019, 05:24:36 PM
How many of you bounty hunters are actually making up to 500$ per project after months of promoting the bounty project this year? I heard that those who make thousands of $$$$ in 2017/ early 2018 are fortunate because of the bullrun ,so thus that means if no bullrun all bounties won't bring huge profits???

Let's talk about bounties that are not looking for funds like ICO and IEO ,they are always better and you don't need to wait forever to get your tokens,I like promoting already listed coins or tokens ,it's gives better rest of mind
This is not the bitter truth this is just practical of how the bounties works,if there is not much investor to invest on the new crypto projects then how we can expect the amount is to be more profitable like ok it was in peak of cryptocurrencies. There is no stable income are are any range value of rewards are assured in bounties.
274  Local / India / Re: When did you buy your first bitcoin? on: June 14, 2019, 05:03:04 PM
From my friend's wallet but if you are asking about site it is from localbitcoin and still using the same site whenever I want to buy bitcoin and the good thing is no issues happened for me other than slight delay in the withdrawal process.

I am suggesting anyone new from India to buy bitcoin in LBC because where you can't be scammed.
275  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Received more cryptocurrencies than I should on: June 14, 2019, 02:15:56 PM
I just tried to withdraw and no problem, almost instantly, 1/3 of the coins are now in my hardware wallet. Canīt withdraw more because there is a daily limit  Grin.
Now they should definetely recognize it, or?

You should not withdraw it. You are stealing another users funds, think about that. Would you like that done to you? Inform the exchange, give the funds back if you have any balls. I hope you become the people you stole from if you do keep it. (I know you did not steal it, it was put in your account, but you are stealing it now)
Read the thread carefully, exchange knows that they gave more money which is for the incovenience caused to the user.

So its not stealing the money its the extra reward for the extra patience.

How much funds remaining on your wallet? Try to withdraw all the funds and yes they recognize the withdrawal as well.
277  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Received more cryptocurrencies than I should on: June 14, 2019, 06:29:03 AM

My suspicion is that it is a scam, and they credited your account with too much because they are hoping that you will deposit more.

Different point of view but there are possibilities for this as well,so OP try to withdraw all your money from that exchange and let us know what is the situation.

If you can able to withdraw they are legit or they are trying for more scam attempts.

Not sure why you trusted them and why you needed their help for moving your bitcoins?

You can actually move it simply to the desired bitcoin address. Undecided
280  Other / Serious discussion / Re: What are we wasting our Lives on? on: June 13, 2019, 07:10:55 PM
I think there is nothing wrong in doing something that gives you pleasure but doesn't affect negatively your life. I don't think it's wasting live if I often drink, go parties, gamble and etc, it doesn't ruin my life because I am going pretty well.
But I would ask your question with different meaning. What are most of the population wasting their lives on? Answer is simple: making some people rich. Yeah, let's take countries where people work like slaves to feed themselves while business owners are becoming and becoming rich, none amount of money can feed them. They collect money and that's all, they have so much money that they don't even need and even if they invest in something, for example in startups, they do it in order to increase their budget and their budget increases from our pockets, so money in our pockets decreases but for all of this, we work days and nights. That's a problem, huge problem.
This is how our economic system works. If we want to get richer then we need to be smarter and first step is stop doing jobs which keeps you as slave.

Try to do the investments and avoid paying taxes legally which is the way to become richer and Warren Buffet proved it as well.
