So... God... loves Trump?

I suppose I'll have to start grabbing pussies if I want to be president

I guess it fits... throughout the Old Testament, God was partial to Xenophobes and committing genocides...

God even loves you, disgusting as you are. He is giving you great chance to be saved. Stop turning His offer to you down.

Cool

Matthew 7:1: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged."

As a fellow Christian, I ask that you show Christ's love, not judgment. Christ's teaching are all of love, joy and peace, not judgment. You can not and will not win hearts for the Kingdom by telling people they're disgusting and being hateful; It is not what we are called to.

Mark 12:31:  “Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other command greater than these.”

On another note, to those who don't believe the same as me, I love and value you and would never think of any of you less. You are all wonderful people and have amazing plans set out for your lives!

What's embarrassing for Clinton is she had significantly lower turnout compared to Obama and lost two states that haven't went red since the late 1980's.

What can be summed up from this election is that one, American voters do not want a criminal to run for President, and two, polls don't mean anything. Polls of the night of the election had Clinton up about 4 points on average. She won the popular vote, but no where near the margin predicted by the polls. Numerous mathematical models had Clinton winning this thing nice and easy, including 538's statistical model that put her at a 70 percent chance at winning. Electoral college worked in Trump's' favor this year and he gets to lead an entire executive branch with an entire Republican legislative branch. Considering Republicans have 2/3, the Supreme Court is next. Senate is no doubt going to confirm Trump's appointment.

but she won the popular vote

which would seem to indicate that >50% of Americans want a criminal  as President

also the riots tells me they dont want to have to vote for her, they just want her to win.

And they show us they need a civics lesson because the national popular vote doesn't matter, and never has. The popular vote is for each state to determine who their electors are going to vote for. There really isn't a national popular vote, it's the media that uses the overall number for a talking point.

Nice thought, but there is no right to secede, as the Pledge of Allegiance states “one nation, under God, indivisible

>The University of Michigan offered its traumatized students coloring books and Play-Doh to calm them. (Are its students in college or kindergarten?)

>The University of Kansas reminded its stressed-out kids that therapy dogs, a regular campus feature, were available.

>Cornell University, an Ivy League school, held a campus-wide “cry-in,” with officials handing out tissues and hot chocolate.

>Tufts University offered its devastated students arts and crafts sessions. (OK, not kindergarten — more like summer camp.)

>At campuses from elite Yale to Connecticut to Iowa and beyond, professors canceled classes and/or exams — either because students asked or because instructors were too distraught to teach.

Epic win.

The so called "educated"...

It's sad that most millennials nowadays come out stupider, weaker and more in debt than ever before; With their safe spaces, trigger warnings, microaggression culture, and crap like the above. As a student in college myself, I have had to stand up against these dozens of times, it's very frightening.
265  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hillary vs Trump betting: what are the best sites? on: November 13, 2016, 04:32:31 AM
Look the Electroal Votes won't change anything. He won by a huge margin and if any of those electorials vote against him there will be fines and reprecussions. Plus many of the electorial votes are for Trump and Not against him. I highly doubt people will vote the other way just because of some protests.

Yeah, to say Clinton won the popular vote is as irrelevant as saying you won more overall tennis points despite losing the match three sets to two. Our founding fathers did the right thing to protect smaller states from being dominated by large population centers. They wanted the states to hold power and NOT the federal government, they didn't want majority/mob rule to dominate and possibly destroy the union. It makes states with huge populations, that vote a certain party not able to dominate and swing each election to their chosen party. Just think, look at California and New York and their respective state laws. Their population could swing every election and all of you would have to submit to their wants and needs, even though you live in a place where your wants and needs are completely different and they don't have any similarities at all.

Ultimately, it's a safeguard against pure democracy. It's part of the "minority rights" that are protected from "majority rule," I have been studying political science for about a year, it's genius.

I am sure I am being paranoid, but would you mind providing a new PGP signed message given the length of absence and new forum password?

Of course! It's great to be back. I've recently started at a new college and have been super busy IRL.

well,told you so Smiley
I knew Trump was going to win since midsummer
and it was based on analysis not biased and corrupt media or polls
sadly for me I didn't put enough money on Trump's victory and only managed 0.5 ish win

Well if you look at the vote count, he didn't win. Hillary won by like 100,000 votes or so. Basically it was a hit or miss election. She just won the wrong regions to make a difference. Highly doubt there will be a revote. Need to wait 4 years for that.

The nationwide vote count doesn't matter, it's just a talking point for the media. The national popular vote has meant nothing for 168 years. Our Founding Fathers — with amazing forethought — created the electoral college for a reason. They wanted the president to be elected by a wide spread of states — not just the highly populated cities, a.k.a the elites. Without the electoral college, candidates would only campaign in Philadelphia, New York and LA.

269  Other / New forum software / Re: What's the status w/ that new forum software? on: November 12, 2016, 06:01:51 PM
I'll just wait for it to be released.. maybe 10-15 years time? haha.

Dang, so true. I had taken an 8-month hiatus to better my life (college, work, friendships, etc.) and I come back to the same forum design... One day it'll come!

Unfortunately I'll have to deny you due to lack of recent posts. Did you just purchase this account? A little odd that the most recent posts are from March 2016, and then suddenly you appear here applying for a campaign after recently resetting your password.

I have just been insanely busy IRL.

274  Economy / Scam Accusations / Unchi & Shadiness on: March 02, 2016, 03:07:45 PM
This is the official scam accusation thread against Unchi and his shady business practices.

User's profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=357075

Last year I purchased http://passphrase.io in it's entirety, including the source from unchi.
Here is my announcement thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1113393.0

It was a complete sale and transfer of the domain and everything related to Passphrase.io.
Yesterday Unchi attempted to retroactively convert the sale into a lease.
His claim is that he sold me a license to use and modify the software. Not ownership of the code which is absolute insanity.

The Passphrase.io domain didn't renew automatically on my registrar so he quickly snagged it and rehosted the code he sold me a year ago and is attempting to resell it. He may own the domain, but he has no ownership over the code and no rights to profit off of something that no longer belongs to him.

His new listing:
I am looking for interested buyers of my website, passphrase.io

Asking price is 0.5 BTC.

Includes the domain name, source code (full copyright ownership), and assistance with setup.

Please email me at the address shown on the website if you are interested.

Here is a snippet from our latest communication on July 7th, 2015

This is really fucked up. I'm sorry that this happened to you devthedev.

Yup. This is a snippet of our last communication. (July 7th, 2015)

__________

I sold him a license to use and modify the software. Not ownership of code.

It was a complete sale and transfer of the domain and everything related to Passphrase.io. There was no discussion of licensing.

You guys are not quite on the same page I think.

That's for sure.  US copyright law states that transfer of copyright ownership is not valid unless explicitly stated in a written and signed contract.  This never took place, and I neither discussed nor had any intentions of handing over copyright ownership.  I sold a license to use a copy of the software, plus the domain and user base that came along with the domain.  Dev still owns the license to use and modify the code, and he is free to use it on another domain.  In fact, I will now give him my permission to sell and distribute the version of code that he has (which is different from what is running on my server since I went through and completely changed the back end).   However, that doesn't mean that I have to give up my right to sell my own copyrighted intellectual property.

The bigger issue, in my opinion, is that he tried to sell a domain that he doesn't own.  He claims he didn't know that it expired, so as far as I'm concerned, this case is closed and I will remove myself from the conversation.

You retroactively converted the sale into a lease, I thought I was dealing in ethical business like a reasonable person, not signing up for a contest in copyright wankery.

Quoted for reference.
