261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is MEW Safe to use now? on: March 01, 2018, 05:44:56 PM
It's definitely safe, as long as you yourself stay protected. From keyloggers, phishing links, etc.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram ICO (TON) on: March 01, 2018, 05:44:05 PM
LOL
They raised 850 mil?Huh Why...

We have since months a telegram currency which started this week on exchange so why people invest into TON instead of BITSUM?

https://t.me/Bitsum
https://stocks.exchange/trade/SUM/BTC

That's crazy.

I wonder how it'll go.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / First Liechtenstein bank to directly sell cryptocurrencies to customers!!! on: March 01, 2018, 05:43:07 PM
Interesting piece of news: https://captainaltcoin.com/first-liechtenstein-bank-directly-sell-cryptocurrencies/

Though, the only question I have is why buy cryptos from a bank, when you can buy cryptos from a centralized exchange, which is basically just a bank without any legal protections?

Still though, it's an interesting development for cryptocurrency.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: February 28, 2018, 04:33:31 PM
I think buying a couple of volatile/small altcoins is a fun experience.

You can make a profit in short term and you'll definitely learn from your mistakes if not. Grin
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LITECOIN CASH, THE FORK OF LITECOIN !!!! on: February 28, 2018, 04:32:02 PM
It's a scam. Beware.
LTC don't do such forks.

What makes you think it's a scam?

It's a completely different coin but that doesn't mean it's a scam.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most important part of an ICO? on: February 27, 2018, 07:21:17 AM
Well, above all, not being a scam of course. Grin

So, I'd say the development team.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💪 💪very useful bot with fees💪 💪 on: February 26, 2018, 11:25:57 AM

268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i search good airdrops?? on: February 26, 2018, 11:23:32 AM
Just search in the forum is not enough. You can search is telegram as there are some group of the information about airdrop and bounty. Wink

Research everywhere. Find as much info as you can about the project.

Telegram, reddit, so on, anything that can help.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in Dogecoin future? on: February 25, 2018, 04:14:39 PM
No, I don't believe in Dogecoin future, as the coin is a running gag, even the owner didn't even suspect the coin will reach so high with a high volume too.

Yes, it started as a memecoin. Not a lot of potential there I think.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 12 Bitcoin. What should I do??? on: February 25, 2018, 04:11:22 PM
Hold your Bitcoin if the price reaches $10k usd the price will correct then before that you must convert your BTC to usd ,then after the correction buy the BTC again the outcome is more BTC.

I agree, it's pretty much guaranteed to at least go back up to $10k, so wait a few days/weeks and then see.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Needed an opinion on an upcoming ICO on: February 24, 2018, 01:20:55 PM
Looking at the team, who's going to actually develop it? I don't see any coding experience between the 3 of them. The only ties I see to crypto based on previous experience is early investment. Looks like they got nearly as many advisors as they do on the team photo lol

Yeah they seem to be all talk - would love to be proven wrong though. I like the idea of the ICO.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto news sites do you read ? on: February 24, 2018, 01:18:02 PM
I got most of my news from this site, bunch of crypto discords, reddit and twitter to be honest Grin

I realize it sounds pretty bad but it's surprisingly great.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: February 24, 2018, 01:16:59 PM
In terms of what?

Of course BTC has a bigger value but IMO ETH has bigger tech and better potential in a few years, might just overtake BTC.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Are ETH's Biggest Competitors? on: February 24, 2018, 01:14:56 PM
Aside from NEO, maybe BTC?

I think ETH will overtake BTC in a few years and they're gonna be competing harders soon.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What phone apps do you use? on: February 24, 2018, 01:13:05 PM
Does anyone know or use of an app version of bitcointalk? The one I have is pretty crappy and the interface sucks.

Would love to post and read this place on phone.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos with a cause on: February 22, 2018, 08:02:51 PM
Solarcoin comes to mind.

SolarCoin is a cryptocurrency launched in January 2014 and implemented to incentivize global solar electricity generation.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming events for Tokens and Crypto Projects on: February 22, 2018, 07:57:34 PM
Thanks for the constants updates, much appreciated. Smiley
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people think that ETH can Overcome Bitcoin? on: February 20, 2018, 05:03:24 PM
Better tech, constant updates, a lot of hype behind it, so on.

Bitcoin meanwhile is becoming more and more outdated.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: Do you know this people ?? on: February 20, 2018, 05:01:35 PM
Ola amigos I'm French (I specify to escude my language errors).  Smiley

If you could answer frankly it will allow me to evaluate a little the popularity of these two characters. It is in connection with an ICO which is being set up.
I can not tell you more for the moment, but I will not fail to inform you in due course.

If you ever know them and you have the motivation to give me a little return in writing, for example on what they inspire you, let go, it is for the good cause. 😉

Thank you very much for your involvement !

If you don't know and you want to discover this people, il will link you :

Seems too much like a hoax, I personally don't really trust a lot of what they're saying.

Of course, I don't know enough to disprove them but I think I'd rather stay cynical and safe.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I measure the hype of a project? on: February 19, 2018, 08:57:43 PM
The best thing is to spend hours to read groups even on facebook and telegram to realize how much interest there can be around and why but since no one has time to throw I would say that remains only to rely on the good icorating or icodrops sites

Lurking in their communities is always a good idea I think.

You can see how the devs react and interact with their fans and go on from that.
