I think eth has dropped more than 50% since this original post and no one knows how further it could drop, while a lot were of the opinion it would drop to more than $150 while at $300, I vehemently doubted, right now the notion about crypto has changed, it is absolutely 50:50. No coin is totally safe. Just use your instinct and invest what you will be willing to lose at the same time have an exit plan for either profit or loss

Down by 60% actually means you still entered at a supposed safe level, a lot of persons that are worse hit have their portfolio dropped by more than 80%. It is really that crazy this year and poses a whole lot of threat to this space. We do not know how far the market will go down more before recovery but I think at this stage one should use his instinct and no more about TA or emotions

2018 is the worst year for crypto that I have experienced having lost so huge in marketcap from over $800B to less than & $120B. The impact on crypto is so heavy and was a very sad experience mostly for those that actually started this year. Bitcoin is not scam just that it survives on crowd participation just same way we have demand and supply. Price dropped hugely while supply was on the increase

I think people will just wait to determine the direction of the market before going more into buying. It is a very difficult situation right now in crypto and eth is badly hit falling from an all time high of over $1200 to abysmal low of $100, it might not have seen the bottom yet until real investors appear.

I think bitcoin is still largely volatile and this level of price fall shows it is not yet a stable means of payment and value transfer. So far there is every Indication that there are a very few who are largely holders that might have acquired it early enough and therefore keep controlling the market

A lot of bounty hunters have increasingly be losing interest and majority have giving up going by the several conditions and situations faced by them. A lot of bounty extended and still could not afford to pay meaningful earnings, some exited scam while majority were affected by the bear market. It is crazy really. I think bounty will not be a lucrative niche especially at this time, I may be wrong though

I still believe we have not gotten to the bottom of this, there is every likelihood that btc may even go lower than $3000. It is a funny situation where a very huge decline has hit the crypto market since this year. I really wish the Bull run of December last year could return but it seems a near impossible

I do find the whole shenanigans very disgusting, all I see are bunch of greedy and egocentric individuals in power tussle and playing with the minds of investors. I hate to hear the fork thing, We won't be surprised hear another fork of either SV or ABC or both. All in attempting frustrate btc and the entire crypto but the king will always rise and keep ruling. Soon they should both be relegated to where other coins with the Bitcoin prefix are hiding on the Coinmarketcap, usually lower not among the top 100

Topic had almost misled me, had thought there have been a huge eth pump to displace the xrp at number 2. However, all I see here are predictions upon predictions. I think we should lower expectations at this time and trade carefully, go in gradually and buy as price drops and sell off at any good profit level. The bear is not done yet

The price may be higher initially but will eventually dump. People will rush into it because of the hype and the large amount of community Facebook already has. The may not need to run any bounty to be popular however their coin may not be any better than the myriads we have already, so may lose relevance over the time

This may be a good decision, I like the fact and idea of buying step by step, it means buying gradually down and as price drops. But always sell whenever an opportunity for profit comes and buy lower again. A pump may come but not immediate or so soon. Very interesting season we are

I think the market has gotten to when we will do away with sentiment and emotions and be more factual. Bitcoin is already trusted and believed to be the king but does not take away the fact that is still bound to make profit or losses. A trader's major concern is profit, someone that bought btc at $20,000 won't find it funny at the current level and faith is different from data.

Really sorry for whoever followed his prediction as investment advice and actually invested accordingly, he lost and lost it huge. It will only take just dreams or miracle to return get his prediction come to pass. This is why it is good for one to follow one's instinct and personal judgment before investing in any

I think I actually made a good decision by selling at above $600 during the bch pump, I have always known that forked coin often drop in value. Had almost regretted selling when I saw the both values of forked coins but knowing it is just the split of bch and bch is lost already, I got happy again.

So much huge panic sell which was brought by the uncertainties coming from the fork of bitcoin cash, the supremacy battle continues but among all coins that came to compete bitcoin still shows it is still the king. We hope we survive through it all

Airdrops were more profitable during the Bull market, even at that majority were outright scam and the few others were worth peanuts. Right now I do not expect any good return from any airdrop going by the prevalence of a lot of failed projects and the effect of the bear market

Crypto is highly unpredictable, Ripple has been predicted and tagged to be among the worse coins for investors and investment, etherium eventually become the favorite,but recently Ripple  had the bull run that surprised everyone almost 100% in 48 hours. The reality is that while etherium is being tagged such a bad investment, its bull may surpass that of Ripples when it starts

Certain generalized opinions are not always true, it is often termed a fallacy in logic, I know a lot of persons who have been discouraged by recent events in the market which is equally responsible for low project turnout. If worth is in terms of value, there a lot of cryptos higher than Bitcoin in terms of price but usually with very low market cap and supply. It is already known that the price of every crypto is the market cap divided by the circulating supply, for a coin with 100 circulating supply and maybe a marketcap of $1,000,000 will have a coin higher in price  than Bitcoin
