Steam dropped bitcoin support citing "high volatility" as a motive. When amazon stock jumped from $18 to $1,200 over a period of years, was this high volatility a bad thing? If bitcoin's value increases from $6,000 to $16,000 over a period of months, and HODL'ers benefit, this high volatility is bad? Where does the idea of high volatility being an unnecessary evil come from? Are there good arguments or evidence which support the concept of high volatility being a negative circumstance? In a sense, volatility simply means the price of something moves a lot, its not that bad if the vast majority of motion is in an upward direction?  In my opinion, it is. The market value of Bicoin is what making it interesting as a currency and as an investment. It determines what will be the profit of its users and investors such as if the market value is increasing, the profit becomes bigger and vice versa.That is why there are lots of people here who are monitoring its market value from the market. I also think that bitcoin volatility is best thing in bitcoin and it is just a way for bitcoin to grow and bitcoin is getting high because of it. Now everyone is aware of it that bitcoin is volatile and it is main reason for bitcoin to grow and people love it for this. According to me bitcoin volatility is best thing and it is main source of income for a lot of people. Bitcoin is not going to decrease the value and importance until bitcoin price stop increasing. |

Bitcoin can be replaced fiat, they are different things that can't be compare. My government afraid of bitcoin because it can be use for criminal activity and guess what, my government will take another step for making new regulations for bitcoin Yes it is bitcoin is now being use for good and bad at the same time. I could not understand why there are those who are also in Bitcoin yet are predicting that Bitcoin can go as low as $3,000 or even $5,000 when a crash can happen soon. I am not saying that a dip -- a big dip -- will never happen but considering the things happening right now in the world of cryptocurrency, I don't believe that it can go as low as those figures.
Maybe if one day USA will decide to follow the footsteps of Japan in banning Bitcoin trading activities, then maybe it can be possible that Bitcoin can crash big time but even then it can still be able to recover fast due to people always waiting for an opportunity to buy Bitcoin cheaply.
Are you expecting Bitcoin to get so low once it crashed?
So many people missed the chance to buy at that point and they really wish it would get that low so they can get at that price. It is a crazy thing that will never happen because the market is stronger than having something like that happening. If everyone is looking for such moment, then they will grow white beards and still never get to see it. I do not expect bitcoin to get that low and if it does, then I buy more! Count me in then if that big dip would happen, many are really hoping and waiting for the bitcoin to go down but it seems it keeps getting higher and many are speculating about the value of btc will be at $20,000 at the end of the year. Nobody expected this kind of inflation and many were surprised. The best thing to do right now is to buy even if its value is too high because btc will keep surprising us in terms of its volatility. Everyone have a different opinion and my opinion is different everyone can share his views here but some people are not awer from reality and I don’t know from where they are going to get these information I believe if you want to do prediction about bitcoin so you must know about the relation of bitcoin with countries and I think bitcoin have a very strong and good relation with countries and secondly check k he price of bitcoin which proof that bitcoin will survive for ever not to crash. |

If a huge amount of people sells their bitcoin due to panic caused by the news or rumours, it's possible that the price of bitcoin will drop down, depending if the amount of bitcoin they've sell will be significant enough to make a huge impact with the current prices.
Now that the price are climbing I think it will create a big panic when there will be a hard dump. I like to see how much it will dip as for sure I will not pass this opportunity to buy, just hold more because the price has no plan of stopping the rise. This was bound to happen, people get very optimistic when the price is going up but people tend to get very pessimistic when things are not going right, it is obvious the pumpers are taking into account this reaction, not only they earn money when bitcoin rises they also earn money when bitcoin goes down. It’s a very important factor in bitcoin I know some people are making panic in bitcoin which is not a good idea and bitcoin also don’t accept panic always play here carefully because bitcoin want to give you a profit so price and time both are very important here so you must keep your eyes all the time on these tow thins if you start panic and ignore these two things so you can lose bitcoin so that why just relax and play here carefully to get your profit. |

I prefer bitcoin because holding your gold wont make you rich what i mean is there is no changes in price and gold nowadays is having a low value

You are right it will not make high money for you and you will not be rich with bitcoin. it is good to use both high profit and for this you will have to manage time. If you are holding gold in you safe at home I am sure it will be risky and any one can easily break your lock of safe and will take your gold but if you are using bitcoin it is not risky because having bitcoin in wallet is good and no one will be able to use it without your permission. |

Why there are significant differences in current BTC value between different exchanges.
As you said bitcoin value is different from exchange to exchange this kay due to the traders who are going to sell their bitcoins so they might fix the value,in some exchanges the price is higher than the market value of bitcoin,so if you are a going to purchase or want to sell you bitcoins need to search different exchanges for getting more profits. Yeah the more you will search the more profit you will get and it is not good to just go and sell it is good to wait long till bitcoin price will be stable for some time. If you are not finding right person to buy your bitcoin is not the end just go for other people and say about bitcoin. It is now helping a lot of people that they have patience and they can wait for perfect time and perfect person to sell their bitcoin. |

Hello guys, what is your theory regarding Bitcoin Futures. Some say Bitcoin will dip, some say will double. What say you? What's your theory?  bitcoin will double in price and demand many will trust in bitcoin and others will stop say it’s buuble. my theory high price and high fee Im opposite going to say it will dip because the futures contracts show bearish sentiment I think and I think the market will react to that in the way they want. I also think quickly thereafter we will rebound and make ATH for bitcoin but that will happen in January imo not late December. Some of the same here. Thinking the futures market, which will attract a more mature/accredited investor, will driving the price to its conclusion. when we get there, that same market is going to turn tres bearish in sentiment, and tamp the price back down so all the bank guys that ignored us the first time, can now buy coins under what they know is "less than peak". Either we are going to get a 20k BTC Xmas gift, or we will have a 'happy new year', so to speak. but q2-q4 2018 isnt going to be rosy like this, I feel. Major retraction after we actually visiting this price range, and stay there. And God help us if they dont pass that tax reform. Corporate America's brain will explode, and much chaos will ensue in all markets, globally. It is not very hard to know just simple look at bitcoin price if bitcoin price will be high it will be time to wait and if bitcoin price will be low then it is good to buy bitcoin. People are now talking about bitcoin and they are saying that they are sure about price of bitcoin that it will increase and it will not stop going high. Now bitcoin is having high potential and it will not lose the high place in super markets. |

As long as people stay active on bitcoin, it will just keep rolling here. and as long the internet exist, bitcoin will still be alive. It is like, internet is the heart of bitcoin that keeps pumping bitcoin.

Trading would better if you're looking for long term investment. I do not suggest you to put your all money into it just use the small amount of your money. Higher the amount you use, higher the chances of losing your money. But the more important thing is knowledge and experience. If you have good experience with a lot of knowledge you can invest more money. About the rest all are risky task and i do not recommend you to invest with any sites they all are scammers.
For this you need to do a lot of homework I mean as you said research is needed. Bitcoin is not very complicated currency on you tube there are a lot of videos about it and we can easily increase our knowledge about both. It is good to have information about everything and then later on you will be able to decide that what will give you profit and what can make you suffer with lose so just be careful. I personally would like to suggest you bitcoin investment because for me trading is risky. |

Correction is over. Now to 20k and beyond.
I too have the thinking that price correction has got over. Now it's heading towards the next targeted price of $20k,and now the price has crossed the $16500 mark. By the start or at least by the first quarter I believe bitcoin will go above $20000 to make the price reach as speculated by most people. Yeah buying at this time is not a good option because bitcoin has lot which is coming I future so be seated and get benefit from it and this thing is sure that in coming days price will rise up the upper most level and those who are patience will cash out that profit time, there are bunch of millions of people are coming to invest into bitcoin and that will give more prosperity to the bitcoin and will be good for us to make millions, |
