3k is real price for stratis right now

Just because you waited too long despite warnings and want to buy at 3k doesn't mean that's what the price is. So much for your credibility.

To everyone else:
If the price is going up without a buy wall, why the hell would you come in here telling people not to panic when one is added then removed? Nothing has changed other than someone showing huge demand is waiting off the books. The only panic that will happen is from you implying this is somehow bearish when it isn't.

Guys, I rarely, if ever, hype because, just like FUD, it doesn't work unless it's backed up with verifiable facts. You're looking at what will be one of the top volume coins of the year, and probably top 5 or 10 in market cap next year. You have an opportunity that only comes along a few times a year, if you discount flash in the pan pump and dumps for gamblers. But you can't fuck it up.

I've been a day trader for years, but day trading, or swing trading, is for high volume, high liquidity, high market cap coins where technical analysis has more credibility. This coin is in a stage of low volume, low liquidity, and low market cap. 5 or 10 BTC is considered a wall. When people are trying to add 100 or 800 BTC there's no possibility of containing that without a massive explosion in price. The slow market is exactly the time when inexperienced traders think it's not worth holding, or think the low volume volatility is a good opportunity. The fact is, though, it's the time to hold and accumulate, whatever the price is. Small buys at support over time. At any moment something could happen, like they add a big name to the team, or release something ahead of schedule. Do you want to be sweating over a 20% turnover and possibly miss a 5x increase overnight? Or do you want to go play a video game and wait for the inevitable? I choose laziness and money, my friends. =)

Wow just when I buy at 3900 it gets dumped down to 3600. Just why? It happens too often. Could it be Bob and his boys manipulating movement?

No.

You should almost always put your order near support unless there's a huge amount of demand in a short period of time. We're in a low volume period between "fundamental" events. There's no reason for it to make a sustained move. It's up because multiple people are trying to get in at the same time. If it were because of an event you would then consider putting your order at the bid or even market buying.

LOL, this is effortless. The noise is just noise. Use earplugs. Everyone sees through scum like bare ass... I mean bear bass... I mean who cares. Ignore his messages or they will multiply. Instead of responding to him, respond indirectly with some facts about Stratis that reveal him for what he is. He'll learn that every time he FUDs it causes good things to be posted rather than bad.

But you can take that same money now and make x200 on that in the same amount of time in and out of different coins.

I specifically addressed this in my post.

You're lying. Plain and simple.

Excuse me? Who are you?

I'm the guy calling you a liar for claiming you can reliably turn $1 into $8,000,000 every year.

You're excused.

And when the 100 different people waiting for the right time to buy 20 BTC suddenly see the price go up and no liquidity on the books to buy without 25% slippage?

Shit outta luck.

Holy shit this forum is useless. No wonder the real communities have bailed to Slack. Is anyone posting here even old enough to get into a bar? Nothing anyone is saying, good or bad, has any relation to reality.

The simple fact is, it might dump, it might not. You can get lucky and predict a few movements, but the only people who will make the real money... the 10x and 100x gains... are the people who hold. Let's assume it takes until December to take off to 20k. Does anyone here really think they can make 600+% in 4 months, RELIABLY, doing anything else? And it won't even take that long. One of any number of events will happen well before then.... WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT.

People like Dan will FUD and get lucky now and then. They'll also fail to buy at the bottom just as often and end up paying more when something unexpected happens. Who cares? Those of us who have been around for years know the hallmarks of a good project and how the lifecycles generally play out. You can sell now and hope for a lower price later, but that just makes you a gambler. Gamblers come and go. The only reliable winning move that will keep you advancing in the game is to hold for the big moves.

"What? December? I better sell and buy back later!"

...two weeks later, Microsoft gets behind the Stratis Platform and it goes to 20k...

"AAAAAAAAAH! Why am I so bad at holding? I miss everything!"
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: August 25, 2016, 12:36:27 AM
Still holding all of my coins. If Bitfinex would pay me back some BTC I'd be buying more.

Don't feed the trolls. Let them make their case and go. It's obvious they have no case until people start arguing and obfuscating the (lack of) points being made, leaving only a negative aura with no basis in reality. These people know how to irritate others into perpetuating the spam and that's really all they need. No points... just a large percentage of negativity in the posts. Ignore them.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: August 19, 2016, 07:52:10 PM
*yawn* Trading these coins is like Groundhog Day.  Same routine every time.

Best formula I've found is simple: Lurk and hold. Ignore the drama as you ignore the low volume swings.

People will sell and then FUD when they realize just because it touches a lower price doesn't mean there's enough volume there to get back in. People will panic buy on spikes and then leave their little moon message as it temporarily retraces, but to them looks like the end. People will buy, sell, and predict the future, all while losing their shirts. Meanwhile the price will jump when they're out, then slowly sink while they're in, time after time, until they're so enraged they swear vengeance on the coin and all who profited from it (and him).

I personally equate this project with LISK, which is why I expect 40k at some point in the not-too-distant future. Who knows what it could momentarily spike to on the day of a Poloniex addition? There's just too much overhead to risk on short-term scalps during low volume volatility.

Looks like price has been stable for a few days now, but if Bob is in this coin sooner or later it will dump hard.

who is bobsuplus, any nortorious things about him?

He's a guy who scouts out coins, buys them, promotes them, and then sells them for a profit.

You know... like most of us.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: August 18, 2016, 11:39:47 PM
These are the times when the losers are divided from the winners, and the voices of doom and panic show us who the losers are. This is a simple process that has played out many times in the past. STRAT is a solid coin with a low market cap. It will most certainly go to much higher prices, especially when added to Poloniex. That will happen in a matter of days or a couple weeks... or in 5 minutes. Don't get spooked out by low volume swings or get hung up on coulda-beens. The only two prices that matter are where you bought and where you sell. Hold and profit, or panic and lose to the people buying the dips you're selling into. It really is that simple.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Launched POW/POS on: August 12, 2016, 06:24:52 PM
LOL, I had one filled at 1600 too (1601). Seems like the place to be. Have plenty, but got another order at 1603 =)

This coin has the highest volume to market cap ratio right now and just hit #1 in volume on Bittrex. Seen it all before... support will only build and push the price higher until FOMO kicks in. I have no doubt Polo is on the case. They're pretty quick to add high volume coins before the bubble bursts.

I don't understand why Polo would say they were adding it if they weren't. Or did they just ask for information and it was sent in, but no confirmation of an add?

"Please don't buy any LISK in this forum. The owner can reset the passphrases by simply open a ticket on our support center and provide us with his email address and exchange ID. We check the data and if all is good, we will reset the passphrases."

Someone offered to sell me LISK. Does the above (from the OP) mean if I buy them he can reset the passphrase and then I won't have them? Is there a way to buy LISK from someone yet?
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: April 08, 2016, 11:55:41 AM
Anyone looking to sell a few BTC of LISK at the ICO price? I assume they haven't been delivered to you yet.

I Think with this token prices you have to come with a lot better offer, i expect 200k when Lisk launch.

What was the ICO price and do people have the coins yet?
