I dont't get it. Why is everyone mining when there is no exchange? What is the value of FairQuark?
Exchanges so fast? Maybe this is long term coin. Have you ever think about that? Indeed I thought about it, and it would be good to be so. But what is the purpose of a coin if you can't change it for something else?

Hello,
Is there a windows x64 version of cudaminer with scrypt-jane support?
I see. Thanks.
So metis is different algo form protoshares but somehow related?

Is there a metis poolminer for linux?

Giving it a shot on the p2p pool. Any free ducats welcome while I wait for my first payout 5zSJnnaymfc9Z1wS5pni5NMtrQNHwosrbb I tried to send you 4.5 DUC (that's what I make from one block right now) but I forgot that they are all immature. They need at least 40 blocks since birth to grow up an become available for sending.
Finally, two three more blocks. I'm still hoping for the person mining with address 6Dp1hxPxBqUfTsLHo9okeAHLh7iZ48GxeJ to see this message: please reconfigure your miner to mine for the quark algorithm!
How many KH/s get wasted?
Yeah, that would explain the blocks found in the last few minutes.
I have also restarted my testnet client.
I guess that means 0btc is now able to test his patch without me mining the experimental pool. I'll get back on the pool when he confirms it's working.First block found on 0btc's pool!: http://0x0a.nl:35858/static/

There we go. 32 cores of azure VPS (~2800 khs) coming towards the pool. Let's see if it moves now, before my azure trial expires.
I see now. it says estimated time to next block 155 hours. Well, let's hope some more miners join us. For now I can confirm that I can connect and that the shares are submited.

I've tried to adapt Neisklar's https://github.com/Neisklar/p2pool-quarkcoin to Ducats using this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=214512.0;all and come up with the following patch: http://0x0a.nl:35858/static/p2p.quarktoducats.patch .. A couple of things I'm sure are off. At the very least the SUBSIDY_FUNC is entirely wrong. I tried to verify functionality by running in testnet mode, but the Ducats testnet didn't seem to exist (or I messed up). Long story slightly shorter, I'm running an extremely experimental p2pool at http://0x0a.nl:35858 (0.9% fee) of which I'm not sure it works at all. It is accepting shares though, so it's not broken 100% . It's certainly a better idea to wait till someone knowledgeable like rav3n_pl comes to the rescue, but if you can't wait and you don't mind to risk losing a lot of time and energy .. you're welcome to join my pool ! And if you want to run your own p2pool based on my changes, you can do the following: git clone https://github.com/Neisklar/p2pool-quarkcoin cd p2pool-quarkcoin wget http://0x0a.nl:35858/static/p2p.quarktoducats.patch patch -p1 < p2p.quarktoducats.patch
I'm testing your pool. I'm running the optimized cpu quark miner with the command: minerd.exe -a quark --url stratum+tcp://0x0a.nl:35858 -u 631obYuQUiU5pVrrMM8RFt2MbRaRn52F9n -p x I'm getting some yay's. Now lets run for 10-15 minutes to see if it pays. Links are shortened with a coinurl tool, to reibruse some money for the hosting (sorry for that - if there'll be voices that it bothers someone, I'll replace all of them (or a random part) with direct bitcointalk links ) Why not provide both a direct link and a coinurl link (specify that it helps with hosting) and let the user decide. That way you get to be an even nicer guy and you get some (consenting) coinurl clicks too. For example, my corporate proxy (at work) blocks the coinurl links but when I check the calendar from home I can (and I will) click thorugh them to give you a hand. All in all, great ideea for a site. It may become very popular fast.
