stll no gpu miner? there is a rumour that wolfo is working on it for drksilk as they will use aragon2 for POW Never trust rumours GPU miners for Argon2 are nonsense. They also said that with Scrypt. They didn't. Look up the details, GPU miner for OPES would be just as fast as CPU or even slower. How to optimize the miner. Do I need something else installed to mine this thing faster. My xeon is only getting 2k h/s per core. Seams slow. cpuminer-win64-haswell.exe --algo=argon2 -o stratum+tcp://opes.suprnova.cc:3084 -u xxxx -p xxxx --threads=7 Do I need anything else in my bat file? 2k h/s per core is pretty good, i've not had any faster on any of my X or E series Xeons

Yes, mammix, please address the issue. I think it's time to get MAIA back on tracks.
Ok, im on it...

Thank you As far as I can see Cryptsy and btc38 are on diffrent forks? But wallet on cryptsy is moving instead of btc38 where wallet stuck/stop moving in november
So maybe we can convince btc38 to get in sync with us. Maybe mammix2 ? Don't think it will happen If he could do it it could be done long time ego I wish i could, every time i have suggested ways to fix the forks and get all users on the same network, BTC38 community have not agreed. I think, at the moment they have full control and are not willing to let that go! The vast majority of coins are still on BTC38, so if Cryptsy are on a different fork then in theory all those transactions are invalid... I'll keep trying to convince the BTC38 community that we need to fork onto a unified chain! Feel like i'm loosing this fight. ((BANG HEAD HERE))

anyone able to shake up things on skype or on BTC38.com to get some answers or show some more support for changes that would stablize the coin so we can start moving them around again?
seems like for the coin to ever be able to hold value they are going to have to fix this, so I would say anyone who can get some cheap on another exchange due to the lack of movement, do so and sit on them as it should offer a huge payday, or a cheap way to get invested in long term on a coin that will end up with a high value when all is said and done.
Thanks for the support, i'm still trying to get things sorted in the background...

HI all
I never followed the original thread, but i'm interested in how the mining side of things works...
How do you keep the mining fair between each different Algos? i mean is there a factor involved that adjust the difficulty between each different Algo? e.g. if i was mining using NIST5 would i find a block quicker than if i was using X15? as there are 3x more rounds of hashing involved...

still no news on getting this sorted?
Unfortunately not, we're still in the same situation. The BTC38 admins will not go with the new plan if the community are not happy to do so. And currently the community do not want the changes made, even though the chain is stalled they are still trading on BTC38 and don't seem to care about moving coins in or out of the exchange. Trust me this is very frustrating considering the projects performance over the past 6 months, and my wish to get it fixed! http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/boostcoin/At the moment my hands are tied! If anyone here can speak Chinese, please help to relay this info to the QQ community Group (319434369) ================================================================= (Google translated text)不幸的是没有,我们仍然在同样的情况。

pool?
No pools... MAIA is a PoS only project

Anyone know of good Xeon CPU mining settings?
I have a load of Xeon E5345 Quad Core CPU, and can't get much more than 100 H/s per core, which is crap! I have a old Intel Core I5 laptop that does many times better than this....
As a comparison...
1x Old Intel Core I5 laptop = ~4000 H/s total 1x E5345 Quad core Xeon CPU = ~300 H/s total
Any ideas?
Guessing you are using the generic miner for the xeon? I wish I had some input for you, but I can tell you I was testing when Primecoin was first released with a quad 12 core AMD opteron server... All 48 cores performed like shit. Maybe "server/non consumer" processors just aren't the way to go with this kind of stuff. I've tried all the different supplied kernels. The best for my E Xeon CPU is the Core2 version,, but still that is only ~100 H/s per core on my E5345 CPU. I also have a Xeon X5660 6x Core CPU and that totals ~12000 H/s which is cool.... I Just can't see why the E series CPU is so crap. Unless there is a specific instruction set kernel that hasn't been included with the CPU miner for Argon2

HA. would be nice, if they are holding the majority then they should just take over responsibility for the coin, if they are not going to let the developer do their jobs but it is highly doubtful, I am guessing this is one of those exchanges that demands a huge amount of coins from a developer to let it onto the exchange? No, BTC38 didn't ask for anything. they just added it over one years ago, and has been trading steadily since then. All i really want to do it fix the network and maintain it, but the BTC38 users don't seem to understand the need to add more coins to be permanently staked to keep the network moving...

Are there any bounties for a Mac wallet?

Hi What is the current right block number ? And where can I find it
As BTC38 has near full control of the network, the most valid block height will be on there... I'll ask them

I think would be possitive for this coin to be in other exchange like Yobit or ccex, cryptsy is being unreliable and btc38 is basicly for chinese users, what do you think about it?
I agree that adding more exchanges would be positive, but none of them want to add BoostCoin, i have already asked Yobit, C-Cex. Bittrex and Poloniex are also not interested as they had BOST listed in the past...

Interested in adding Boost to coinwallet.co - however I cannot seem to find the source..?
I'll PM you...

Yes this seems to be the case, the majority of coins are being traded on BTC38. About 9.5 million coins are in BTC38 at the moment. And with the daily volumes of trade it feels like its being manipulated. http://www.btc38.com/trade/reserves_en.html (use Tor proxy if you can't view the BTC38 site as it's behind the great Chinese firewall)At the end of the day all i want to do is fix the issues and maintain the network, but there needs to be some staking pressure on the network for this to work. Every suggestion of creating extra coins to be used on new permanent staking nodes, gets rejected by the community. So i'm stuck not being able to repair the problems. Very frustrating!Still the same rules apply until things are fixed, 'Don't move any coins between wallets, but trading is still open on BTC38 & Cryptsy'

Any news? Dev, we won't let you go.
Thanks As i want to follow the development on BoostCoin, there is some issues with BTC38 and the network which we're working through, once that is all sorted MAIA will be brought in line
