261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One mistake and l have lost all bitcoin on: June 13, 2020, 11:41:03 AM
Just because ETHBull and ETHBear Token was 3x high in price, you decide to invest in it, other than eth. You forgot in a hurry that eth always have the tendency to increase more than any other coin.

This mistake of yours is now in the past, forget it and move on. Try as much not to be moved by FOMO again. My advice is before you invest in any other altcoin next time, research on it probably. Always keep this in mind ''invest with your spare money''
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safe with bitcoin? on: June 13, 2020, 10:27:44 AM
The awareness of bitcoin is not widely spread. It's only a quite number of people that understands the volatile nature of bitcoin and her usefulness. Majority finds it hard to accept bitcoin as another method of payment, they prefer using fiat, that's a major challenge hindering bitcoin popularity
263  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best advice for Bitcoin ATH investors ?? on: June 13, 2020, 09:20:16 AM
This is what the fomo do cause. Although nothing has spoilt anyway. Your friend should hodl his bitcoin pretty hard, there's much hope for bitcoin to go up against $19k.

If that bitcoin price was skyrocketing more, above that $19k in 2018 till now. You could have imagine how rich he would have been by now.

Bitcoin passed the halving, and Ethereum is heading into Eth 2.0. What are your thoughts on the direction of the blockchain? We're seeing the prices increasing but do you think these network updates are priced in and will eventually come back down before the upgrades?

With the United States pumping in money into the economy, is Bitcoin going to be the new standard?

Lots of crazy stuff going on in cryptocurrency.

My fifteen-minute read goes over the recent industry news, observed trends, a highlighted coin, and my personal price predictions.
Today is making a month that the halving took place and you're expecting a huge turn up of price. It's not certained that bitcoin price will skyrocket immediately after the halving. Based on the previous halvings that have occurred, we didn't see price movement immediately, rather they all reduced in price before they mooned. This year halving will also do the same. Let's wait patiently for it to break the barrier of $10k before we start hoping for a better price

With their 15million users world wide, what Brave CEO and co-founder Brendan Eich only addresses the incident that happened as ''a mistake they're correcting.” What are their findings for taking such moves? There's more to that, which they are not airing out.
The mistake has been done already but can it bring back their users trust back again that's the question for Eich

only have of the year, crypto fraudsters score $1.3 billion in illicit funds in 2020 alone
If the criminals don’t let up, 2020 is set to be the second-highest year for crypto-crime on record
This fraudsters are using this pandemic as an avenue of defrauding people of ventilators
267  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounty tutorial on: June 11, 2020, 06:37:55 PM

268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Bitcointalk on: June 11, 2020, 07:56:02 AM
Reading post consistently in this forum, will make you a better person in terms of issue concerning crypto. There's no way you'll pass through btt, it won't change your reasoning. Albeit at the initial time (as a newbie) it will be difficult to get your posting right (meaningfully)
269  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My 1000th post on this forum! Things I have learnt :) on: June 11, 2020, 12:20:12 AM
I am sure anyone can reach posts 1000, 2000, 3000 and even reach thousands of thousands as long as they can always be active post it even just for the report of bounty. But for me, the number of posts is not at all important if all the posts are categorized as spam or low quality posts.

Over the past few periods "2015-2019" , I was one of many users who did not care about the quality of posts so many of my posts could be categorized as spam and also of low quality. Almost every day I check the message inbox to find out which posts have been deleted by the moderator and that is actually not my desire. My total posts that have been deleted by the moderator based on the data on bpip currently total 141 or every 8 posts that I make then I will get 1 post deleted "this is the average not the actual number".

But after I realized the potential that exists within me, then right on December 9, 2019 I decided to continue to improve the quality of my posts and of course I have been able to reduce the number of deleted posts drastically and get 107 merit since then. This is proof that no matter how many posts we can achieve if you dont have quality then that achievement is completely useless and will only add to the burden of others to clean it and will also make the account reputation worse. So, basically people will only judge the quality of posts. The number is not a determinant that someone has posted quality things before checking their posting history.
It's not about posting a thousand post "is how meaningful it is''. It looks funny checking whether any of your post has been deleted (lols). Although it do happens when you focuses only on bounty task, without no aim of earning merits
270  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help Need About Getting merit how I can get merit easily on: June 10, 2020, 11:42:16 PM
I do understand how it feels not having the desirable merits of the post made so far. You shouldn't belittle yourself that your post doesn't count for it not to be merited on. Each of every member of this forum longs for merits but the only sure way to that is to post constructively, be consistent and be yourself. Try as much as to be reading other peoples suggestion about a post to enable you to gain more knowledge about crypto before giving your own opinion
271  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: bitcoin legal or not on: June 07, 2020, 09:32:29 PM
Bitcoin legality depends the country you are from. This is the eleventh year of bitcoin existence. Since then popularity of bitcoin has been spreading across the globe up till now. Thousands of people has been accepting it as a currency, they are using it to carryout different transaction
272  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: June 07, 2020, 08:50:25 PM
If it is about doing kYC for an exchange site, I will willingly do it without any problem but if it is for a bounty campaign, I won't participate in it cos you might be giving out your ID to fraudulent fraudsters trying to look real
273  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This forum is much more than just signature campaigns... on: June 06, 2020, 08:44:15 PM
This forum has been of help to those that lacks knowledge about crypto. I remember when a started posting newly, all the post I do read then made me to fall in love with crypto more often.  I became very acquitted with the forum, knowing what crypto is all about, which am still grateful at till date.

Way back then, I wasn't minding whether I wear signature or not but I was okay with the knowledge I gained. That's way bigger than the money I have earned so far doing signature campaign. This forum has also made me to understand that there's future with cryptocurrency
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: June 06, 2020, 04:51:02 PM
Before the pandemic started, I wasn't expecting much from crypto. My mind was after the halving, what bitcoin will be of in a year time.

Albeit this pandemic has caused less investors, to invest less in altcoin due to economic meltdown. It is also weakening IEO project not to actualize their target/goals
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: COVID19 and Its effect on Bitcoin & Altcoin Price? Your Thoughts ! on: June 06, 2020, 01:20:07 PM
The price of bitcoin has been fluctuating ever since the pandemic started. I so much believe that, the pandemic is just a level ground for the price of bitcoin to skyrocket. Hopefully, if bitcoin skyrocket, altcoin will join the train also. Let's be hopeful for a better day ahead
276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: June 05, 2020, 01:36:28 PM
It's fantastic you made huge amount from crypto. Congrats!!! Nothing is more sweeter than been your own boss. Only in few months of trading you have made huge profit, just because you aimed your focus right and you do away with unnecessary distractions from your working place by resigning. Those that took you for a joke when you quit your job will now understand your reason behind it
277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What was your experience trading cryptocurrency? on: June 05, 2020, 01:09:42 PM
My worst experience so far is missing the opportunity not to invest in bitcoin when it was around $3k last year. I was only busy acquiring worthless token that has no means of skyrocketing, other than depreciating in value. Each time I remember such mistake, I feel depressed.
278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes i do on: June 05, 2020, 12:56:06 PM
Mistakes are bound to happen for every human being to learn a lesson from it. Those that lacks patience, knowledge and understanding on how crypto works, that has always been their experience about trading in crypto. They're always in FOMO, easily moved by price speculations from different individuals. Without studying how the price chart of the coin they are hodling flows (increasing or decreasing)
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: June 05, 2020, 10:39:25 AM
Trading is all about your intelligence. Know when or how to invest and when to trade. Don't put all hopes in the coin you invested in, that it's going to make you rich soonest. Invest in what you can afford loosing and don't be over dependant on crypto investment, try and diversify your investment strategies in other angles
280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it time for us to get back to trading? on: June 04, 2020, 11:33:40 PM
Trading has no specific time or season. You can either make profit or have losses. In order words, trading is for the risk takers.

For a long time trading, it requires patience and intelligence, knowing the right project to invest into.
