161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My portfolio on: October 26, 2020, 09:50:11 PM
Not only ethereum that you're missing in your portfolio. You're missing some other potential coins that are worth investing in.
My own choice of altcoin won't be the same as yours. But still, I like the collection of your portfolio it looks great. Am sure they're all worth investing in.
Just try on Hodl onto it until when the bull run starts, by then you'll understand how unique they seem to be
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Minter Network on: October 25, 2020, 11:10:09 PM
anyone know about this project ?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/minter-network
does this project is a hidden gem in crypto world

give me your opinion about minter network
thank you

I see this project is very active and the team is working hard for development, it's just that I don't understand a little more about the project, but it looks like it looks good considering this altcoin can also create tokens where maybe many projects want to use the blockchain of this Minter project, but as i said i haven't seen much more, just a little uninteresting any project that uses a validator

yes, the dev is active, maybe the minter team should create a campaign to spread the word about their project
anyway this is a kind of staking coin right ? because i saw this coin in https://www.stakingrewards.com/earn/minter
As for bounty campaign, they did. That was two years ago. It was only meant for signature participants then. Ranging from member to legendary member, which many btt members participated in.
The initial price was around 0.1cent by then, which many invested in, hoping to gain profit within a short period but all avail to this very moment.

It's quite unfortunate the project didn't succeed as planned, making the investors regret investing in the project at first.
I must commend them on their steady update of their community in telegram. They keep hoping and believing the best will come to pass
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Btc and Eth head back into space on: October 25, 2020, 10:26:52 PM
I see that now BTC and Eth are slowly rising towards the sky. Could this be a good sign for all of us?
if you look at the top 100 altcoins of coinmarketcap, almost see their prices increase with the price of bitcoin, I think this is the time for people to hold other altcoins that have the potential to keep up with bitcoin prices, because high bitcoin prices may not be profitable for small capital owners so one of them is to buy some other altcoin as an alternative when the bitcoin price goes up, not only the ETH price and it will probably happen with other altcoins
The way the bitcoin price is going, only but few altcoins will surge with bitcoin price. Not all altcoins worth investing in. The majority (altcoin) is long gone like dust. Another alternative of investment should be the top 10 altcoins. Any other altcoins apart from that should be considered, taking risk.
Bitcoin has surged up to $11k while altcoin is still struggling with the bearish market up to this very moment.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which ia the best coin for holding 2021? on: October 25, 2020, 10:03:37 PM
Nothing much has happened yet since you left. Only the introduction of defi projects in cryptosphere. Presently, it's been hyped like the days of ICO's and IEO's.
Although the top 10 digital currency still remains the same. No other new coin has taken over from bitcoin and ethereum.
Bitcoin and ethereum is on the rise now, buy and hodl it as bull season is about to hit cryptosphere soon
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 24, 2020, 08:59:10 PM
As the saying goes ''bet on what you can afford to lose''. The same thing goes for investment. If you always have that at the back of your mind, you're good to go at betting.

There will be a time you'll lose and also time to win. Depending on how luck shines on you that day. But once you notice luck is against you for that day, it would be advisable to withdraw immediately to avoid more losses and try again, some other day.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2020/2021 on: October 24, 2020, 08:30:10 PM
It was a bad day for Aston Villa yesterday Sad

I will only go with Liverpool vs Sheffield United today, and it looks like a clear home win here despite the injuries they have.
Sheffield also have problems of their own and they only have one draw and four matches lost so far.
Recent h2h is also on Liverpool side.
Liverpool Win & Salah to score

Aston Villa had their opportunity to score during the first half game but they missed it. While Leeds makes use of theirs during the second half by utilizing it properly, which yielding to goals

It's a sure win for Liverpool no doubt about that. Liverpool will smash Sheffield United mercilessly
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 24, 2020, 07:52:10 PM
Fulham is certainly going relegation zone this season. How can a club not be able to win a single match after about 6 matches played?

I don't see Manchester City making it to the top 4 this season. If they continue with this their style of play.
Manchester City drawing West Ham is unbelievable for me
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell or keep holding HEX? already gained 50x on: October 22, 2020, 11:20:05 AM
$300k worth of HEX and you're still having double thoughts whether to sell it or not. My brother sell it all. You gat nothing to lose. Ones every investors start dumping their HEX token, it will take years for it to get to the present price now. Unless you are ready to wait tirelessly for years
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What we can expect the price of eth at the end of 2020? on: October 22, 2020, 11:04:13 AM
Am not expecting much high price from eth or even altcoin generally. The world economy is bleeding outrageously and we're yet to recover from the scourge the covid-19 has caused on humanity.
Eth price won't be above $600 before the year comes to an end. Crypto breakthrough (bull run) will come between Q3 of next year
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Im planning to invest in Ethereum. Is this a good plan? on: October 22, 2020, 10:50:22 AM
Your instincts are right. Ethereum is the second top altcoin after bitcoin. It has every tendency of skyrocketing, way more than $380 at present now.
Crypto investment is divided into two: the long and short term investment.
Bitcoin can double up your profit within a short period of time, depending on how volatile the market is, compared wity ethereum. The choice is yours

172  Other / Meta / Re: Copper membership cost on: October 21, 2020, 11:32:27 PM
I can see that, you really need a copper membership to be able to promote a signature campaign. It's all fine and good. But do bear this in mind that, only few projects accept junior members or copper membership to join their campaign. Majority of bounty projects wants highly ranked members to join their signature bounty campaign.

173  Other / Meta / Re: Make your topic title, posts more attractive on: October 20, 2020, 11:56:37 PM
Many of a time in this forum, I have seen many post that has the same details explanation but different topic title that has the same meaning. Post like ''India ban bitcoin, bitcoin is illegal in India, India government declares bitcoin illegal etc.
It's will be quite okay if posting a web news, share the link of such information for better understanding of the story
174  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk posting etiquette on: October 20, 2020, 11:28:39 PM
You don't need ro quote if you are making a general reply to the OP.
You don't need to quote if you are replying to a post that is immediately above your reply.
You don't need to quote images.
Cool. Not quoting post that is above yours. But remember, some people do comment in a particular post without immediately following it up to the end after their own post. If you don't quote them, they won't know that someone has replied to their own post.
Quoting images is out of the game. It's not right.
175  Other / Meta / Re: Upcoming Bitcointalk.org Anniversary. on: October 20, 2020, 10:36:23 PM
Having annual celebration of bitcointalk forum will be fantastic. This forum needs to be celebrated yearly. It has come long way by uniting as one in cryptosphere up till this very moment.
Let's assume that the covid-19 stopped us from celebrating it. Hopefully by next year, it will be celebrated
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: October 19, 2020, 10:46:39 PM
Soccer match is unpredictable now. The big club you expected to win match is now losing match. Look at what happened to Manchester United and Liverpool and Leicester last 2weeks ago.
In football never underestimate your opponent (club). Soccer betting is all about luck, nothing much cos anything can happen

I think the trend of offset is growing in this modern time soccer. In the past, we hardly saw such happening but with the new generation soccer, everything is leveling up. Underdogs have given way to any team's day. Grin
The newly introduction of modern instruments (VAR) in football is lovely. It's not only the referee that has the final say of any match. We now have other top officials put in place to checkmate fouls and goals, using VAR. Football is more interesting now
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting vs Real "Sports Feelings" on: October 19, 2020, 10:35:02 PM
I find it hard to bet against my favorite team, no matter how the odd seems. I prefer not betting at all than betting that my team will lose a match.
My emotions always comes to play when betting against  my favorite team. I enjoyed seeing them win all the time then losing. It gives me joy.
This mean you are not really a gambler mate instead you are a sports fan that wanted to support His team or not betting at all.
Actually we have the same views in regards to sports that will be betting because i would rather stay away of the game and remain watching than being a traitor to my favorite team.
and i think this is respectable than to put bet while the truth is the losing team is the one you desired to win at all.
Although for someone to win a bet this time around, he or she ought to put emotions aside. Football matches are really hard to predict now. Your best team can draw or lose a match. Look at what happened to this week premier league results. The big teams draw most of their sure winning match
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 19, 2020, 10:10:54 PM
This week premier league game is a week of draws. For about four (4)games has played draws.

Who could ever imagine or believe that West Ham could  at the end draw Tottenham by scoring 1-3goals to equalize after 78mins of the match.
The unexpected is really happening in this year's premier league. No club should be taken for granted this time around.
179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 16, 2020, 10:31:24 PM
The way am seeing the price of bitcoin, bitcoin can surge more than $12k before this year ends. The bull season will happen around Q3 of next year. By then the world health organization has find the vaccine of covid-19 and everything (economy) has stabilize
180  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: October 16, 2020, 05:37:59 PM
I don't like disclosing my identity, I like staying anonymous when it comes to online or crypto KYC registration.
The only exchange that has my identity is Binance and idex exchange cos I trust them. Any other exchange demanding for my ID is a big no for me
