WARNING MingoPool is a SCAM. I highly suggest that you remove it from the OP. Take a look over in the 365coin thread. They stole hundreds of dollars worth of 365 coins. First they stopped paying out, then a story about upgrades and insisted payouts would be restored on the first, it never happened. There have been reports from many individuals, I myself lost 0.38 365, worth USD$352 as of this post. Take a look at their 365 pool, it's full of fake miners from weeks ago, but if you dig past the dashboard and into the pool stats you'll see 0 hash rate. I even chatted with him on IRC and he assured me that my coins were safe on the 29th. Please remove MingoPool from the OP

How often do people p&d coins in this situation? I've sunk .3btc when it was at 7btc/coin, roughly a 60% value loss. I'm hoping someone would pump it up to 4.6, ideally 5 to cut my losses. Any idea how frequently a p&d takes place? are exchanges where p&d is more frequent?
Thanks!
I think the whale theory is overstated. Pumping doesn't consist of buying up coins to raise the price, it's just a matter of building hype so people buy up the coins. Then people like you get entranced and hop on board hoping to ride the price up to the moon, then the bubble pops and the market finds a fair value. There's always a buying frenzy when coins hit an exchange. I wouldn't count on a whale magically raising the price back up, but you could certainly help by spreading the word about 365 coin.

We've got 50 mined 365Coins already...
I've got nothing anymore since Mingopool doesn't pay-out. All payouts will be made before 1 may. Still no payouts. MingoPool IS A SCAM. They have 0.38 365 of mine. They said they would pay out on the first, that came and went. He's been stringing us along to try and get more people to mine at his scam pool. Please remove his pool from the OP!!!

I will continue to give KMC my 10 MH/s and support again in the future!
Wow, you have over half the hash! Don't spend all those KimoCoins in once place.

p2pool isn't working because it isn't paying out the 20SUM to the foundation address. Additional modifications are necessary.

tempted to launch my own SummerCoin p2pool. Attempting to hack the code now... anyone interested? My DarkCoin p2pool is here http://x11p2p.com:7903/static/I'm interested and will set up a node if you can offer the source. I already set up the network.py files here: https://github.com/jacob019/p2pool-drkBut I got stuck on compiling summercoind, then I noticed "This coin requires a modification to the stratum to enable the 20SUM to go to the foundation address in the source code wallet. Without this, the wallet will reject all valid block hashes as the coinbase transaction is missing this payout."

attn p2poolers. I have a modified P2Pool that should be read to go, I'll share the link on github as soon as I can test it. Only problem is I am unable to build summercoind on linux. First I noticed that part of leveldb was missing, so I copied that folder in from darkcoin, but now I'm getting more compilation errors: obj/init.o: In function `uint256 Hash9<char*>(char*, char*)': /usr/src/SUMC/src/hashblock.h:85: undefined reference to `sph_blake512_init' /usr/src/SUMC/src/hashblock.h:86: undefined reference to `sph_blake512' ... and much more
Has anyone succeeded in compiling? Surely the exchanges must have. Any advice?

Where can I find the network.py for p2pool mining summercoin? jep! looking for the config too. or do I need to create one? also I'm looking for the right stratum-mining config to get sun.mine-coin.de working. Who can help with the right conifg/patches? I need to make a node for me , i get to many boooo )) on 49.68.179.151:21111 The P2Pool listed in the OP is essentially fake since the identifier and prefix are unpublished and so it can't be connected to. Maybe we should make our own real P2Pool.

You tried two pools and said it was reporting intermittently. It sound like you're just having trouble getting shares due to your low hashrate.

Large ASICs are coming and they are not very far away. In as little as 1 month (yes, that is a short amount of time) I believe we will start seeing their impact in a big way.
agreed, we're going to start seeing a ton of interest in Scrypt-N coins very soon. They're all going to pop. Also check out KimoCoin, another Scrypt-N coin. Very new, low diff and high reward.

I'm still not seeing any hashes where as the miner is pumping out at 1XXX kh/s at quad core. Any idea what I've done wrong?
Frankly, it's not worth CPU mining. Better to buy if you don't have a decent GPU. Your best bet for CPU mining would probably be X11 based coins.

Don't pay attention to the trolls. We appreciate your hard work and all look forward to the continued growth of KimoCoin. The store is great and will help the coin grow, and it's very kind of you to subsidize the initial sales and it will make the coin a real success. Hopefully it can pay for itself from now and new sales can be based on the market price. As the coin grows big we'll grow together, and we can all make a toast to being KimoRich

Hi there! Curdozer's 365Coin Mining Pool is back on duty. Due to lack of interest we disabled it until something will change, and it is. I have upgraded pool and wallet software and also fixed a few minor website issues, that will be soon reported to the dev team. We changed default anti-51% attack script to disallow registration above 30%. You are more than welcome, so enjoy! 365.curdozer.comPS. I will be 0% fee for a while and some spare 365 for Tx Fee. PS2. It may take a while to find the first block at current hashrate. Previously, our last was #59790. Just want to provide an update for everyone. I've been mining on this pool for a day and I'm really pleased with the service. Super responsive website, clean layout, and decent luck. I'd still rather have P2Pool, but with good small pools like this in service, I'll keep mining.
