Please add Delegated Proof of Stake (BitShares consensus algo) to the poll.
DPOS is quite different than POS and I wouldn't confuse the two.
Is it a form of proof using your coin holdings? Then it's proof of stake. It's just bullshit and hype giving it another name. Just call it proof of stake, but improved. Don't give it a new name, it only confuses the crap out of people.
PoS has evolved a lot since Peercoin, and will continue to do so. The only reason you should change its name if you want buzz/hype. And buzz/hype without real (end-user) value is to be avoided, it only hurts the wonderful world the altcoin scene is.Edit: Oh my, I just looked into DPOS, voting for people who can submit blocks. It's as ridiculous as Darkcoins Masternodes or Bitcoins ASIC farms. Let me make this clear: AVOID (SEMI)CENTRALIZATION Kthxbai

Can you also update the version, as reported by the API? My tool starts a new benchmark if it detects a new version, but it didn't now Makes it easy to show differences between versions and authors. Also, GTX760 (compute 3.0) doesn't work: http://snag.gy/2Vo9h.jpg

Hey guys, Can you take a look into adding HyperStake [HYP] to the explorers? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=678849.0I like how you show the wealth distribution, and since they're continuously raining their PoS rewards on IRC, it would be nice to see if that influences that a lot ^^" Thx!

I found your X11 on my system (probably came in when downloading something else) and it won't remove every time i uninstall it or delete the files. Any clues why? I can send the whole folder if you want it weights almost 9 MB.
Someone is using your system to mine with. A good antivirus/-spyware sweep should do the trick You'll be one of the first in here who will like that antivirus software already flags the miner itself as malicious ^^

you can try some CPU coins or X11 coins forget about scrypt or sha256
try mining alts with quark or x11 algo
x11 ? Not obvious with a gtx460... the card is rather old... Hey, hey, he can https://github.com/KBomba/ccminer-KBomba/releases/tag/V1.0.02But don't expect much from it though My tiny GTX750TI will probably get around 10x more

If you haven't already, why not join IRC, #ccminer @ freenode, and check if Wolf0 would be willing to do it? It'll probably cost you, but maybe it is worth it? I'd love to see someone figuring out a way to really bump cryptonight mining performance. On a similar note, it would be awesome if SP_ would eventually pickup the cryptonight ccminer and optimize the damn thing Happy Mining! Everyone should join that IRC channel Loads of mining talk there, but can always use a few more souls

maybe someone rented the service from nicehash and pointed to the pool,it may reach that kinda hash rate
This. Renting at top price would cause such a spike. The buyer probably forgot to set a hashrate limit on Nicehash (or any other rental site) I've rented on Nicehash too, and in the few orders I made, I also had one in which I forgot to set a hashrate limit but was at top price, result: every miner wanted to snoop off my order, causing a huge spike. It lasted 15minutes before I noticed and most of my BTC was already eaten away

1. No mining. Mining is a scam and a sign of a corrupt coin. It is like a federal reserve for the coin.
2. Transaction fee that can lower over time automatically. However it should be about $.01 to keep the block chain small. Transactions should be deleted as the community has to deal with the large block chain.
3. A 100% premine is the only moral coin. If you create 1,000,000 coins you can sell 1000 for a BTC. Thus you profit 1000 BTC and you can pay developers and other artists. Make sure if you offer a bonty that it is good for 10 years. Thus if someone make a block explorer, pay them monthly. maybe .1 btc a month. Also pay to have it listed on the exchanges maybe 2 btcs per exchange.
4. You might also have to pay for people to keep nodes open. Thus should come from the 1000 BTC initially.
I was thinking a good name might be sol coin for this solar system.
Lol That'd be a great coin ^^"""

I have found an issue in build 16. If the miner mines on a low diff with high intensity and find one solution, it will pick the first solution it finds, and not the best solution. This could cause the missing hash in the pool.
I need to keep the solution that gives the best hash. Should run at the same speed with the new fix.
Why don't you keep both? https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/commit/c3bdb623e82ed4bc6906ff06d616a2b13494b424Also, any news about the API?

what is the current status of the api+monitoring, thinking to use it but I don't want to break anything in my own release ?
API seems fully implemented, all that I'll need, and probably everyone else too, is in there. But my monitoring app is going slowly (It's just noobish me) But I work on it every day, so I expect a basic tool for next week (don't take my word for it )

Can you update to tpruvot's latest API? (Like poolinfo etc). I'm using that in my monitoring tool ^^ Nice work btw! Seems like my donation earlier was worth it ^^" Too bad my gtx760 doesn't work anymore Guess you kicked out compute 3.0

Hey, I think I'm missing a search field/button too ^^" I was looking for MagiCoin (XMG) but https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/xmg goes 404 I'd like to submit MagiCoin then It's a CPU-coin that has it's own algo (M7M, GPU-unfriendly M7, XCN, adaptation), and is on Bittrex, Poloniex, etc.. Details like reddit, github, blockexplorers, ... are in the OP: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.0You are right that it is high-time that we build a search feature now that we have over 150 coins. We have definitely added many coins in the past few months. We only started with 20 coins so we have definitely come a long way and are working hard to make our rank more comprehensive! The good news is we have already added MagiCoin (XMG)! Here it the URL: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/magiWhile I'm at it here are few other Magi pages: Magi Price Charts: https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/magi/btcMagi Trading Volume by exchanges: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/magi/trading_exchangesMagi Market Cap Charts: https://www.coingecko.com/en/market_cap/magi/usdMagi Price Ticker Widget: https://www.coingecko.com/en/widgets/ticker/magi/btcShould've known it was already there Great job I might have another wild feature request: What about IRC bots that monitor channel activity? The more nerdier a coin, the more activity on IRC

Hi folks...We added 7 new coins today! CoinGecko now tracks 155 cryptocurrencies! We are very well on track to track 200 cryptocurrencies soon Let us know which coins we should add next! So what would the benefits of either fork?
tpruvot just supports more algos?
Tpruvot also makes sure the linux version is working correctly. There is no real benefit, sp_ is continously working on hashrate improvements, while tpruvot is making side-features like the api & extranonce support (and also speed improv). You guys should work on the same codebase, IMHO

Hi bobster, i have a feature request: could you provide a json api where i could query the ranking of coins and statistics per coin?
+1 I'd like this too Seems like a very well requested feature Well, many traders just launch their bots in the dark, without really knowing which coins are really worth it. This could provide some nice stats next to the gray, boring pricecharts.

I'm working on improving the code.
Because Anyone who wants to do it has the ability - the code is all on github. I no longer have the time or ambition to work on it.
, you could post where we can follow your work. sgminer v5 thread? Any tests with R7 240 4GB? Don't get your hopes up yet

Blackcoin isn't (or was?) anonymous. It gained popularity by putting everything on PoS and no more PoW, and the hype surrounding the multipool, which was the first PoW-2-PoS pool ^^"

Kernals are beeing merged up to the head branch by tvpouvet. 1.4.9 and this mod based on 1.4.6 share the same optimalizations. There is a small difference though. 1.4.9 has improved the throughput settings in the kernals. I need to do a refork, and redo launchbounds tweaks for 1.4.9.
So it means you'll make use of his API too? I'm busy writing a .NET app that monitors your cudarigs with his API, with detailed stats etc, so that would be nice for comparisons
