263  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS reportedly gives away sex slaves as 'prizes' in Koran contest on: June 26, 2015, 05:10:47 AM
Anyone here part of the Islamic faith or studied it? Is this type of act - selling sex slaves, presumably rape - condoned in the Quran? Or Sharia law?

I can't imagine a religion says this type of act is a good thing, but it's hard to believe that ISIS would commit such hypocrisy as well.

Anyone educated on the topic that can provide real insight?

Guess you're not Christian then? Because the bible has no problems with slaves or rape either.

266  Other / Off-topic / Re: Steam $1000 Giveaway! on: June 16, 2015, 03:38:30 AM
It seems like this is a giveaway to get more followers/likes on their social media accounts, as you have to like or follow them in order to enter. It is possible that this is a scam, but I think that this is a giveaway to get more attention to their social media pages.

Probably not a scam. Just some promotion. But there are already 75680 total entries and there are only 5 winners, each getting $200.
267  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Worst Mistake in the History of the Human Race on: June 16, 2015, 03:26:10 AM
Quote
Hunter-gatherers practiced the most successful and longest-lasting life style in human history. In contrast, we're still struggling with the mess into which agriculture has tumbled us, and it's unclear whether we can solve it. Suppose that an archaeologist who had visited from outer space were trying to explain human history to his fellow spacelings. He might illustrate the results of his digs by a 24-hour clock on which one hour represents 100,000 years of real past time. If the history of the human race began at midnight, then we would now be almost at the end of our first day. We lived as hunter-gatherers for nearly the whole of that day, from midnight through dawn, noon, and sunset. Finally, at 11:54 p. m. we adopted agriculture. As our second midnight approaches, will the plight of famine-stricken peasants gradually spread to engulf us all? Or will we somehow achieve those seductive blessings that we imagine behind agriculture's glittering facade, and that have so far eluded us?

Yet it's only after all that that technological development is the highest. Hunter gatherers wouldn't be able to achieve the same progress if they spent all their time just trying to survive.
268  Other / Off-topic / Re: Creepy way of dying on: June 13, 2015, 11:26:54 PM
When I said "creepy" I meant it on horror movie style, not on painful style.

I read this and I just imagine someone bleeding out from nose, ears, eyes, mouth, and even his dick and anus xD. That looked creepy and a good theme for a horror movie (much better than anaconda xD).

Do you want something more creepy than almost being boiled alive, and then being served as dinner to someone? And you being alive and awake while others cut pieces out of your meat and eat it in front of you? Smiley
269  Other / Off-topic / Re: Creepy way of dying on: June 09, 2015, 07:20:53 AM
There are creepier ways to die. For example, being eaten alive like in the cannibal scene in Hostel 2.

by the way, I hope you don't get banned for altcoin giveaway.

Why is that not allowed? Should I convert it to BTC and give that away?

Or maybe it's in the wrong part of the forum? There is an area for altcoins too. But great giveaway.

I think yes.

Don't know if it's the same thing. He isn't rewarding others because of posts here, only for having a lending thread.

^ these look very cool. Smiley

I'm just not sure what I'm looking at in the last one. Is it somebody's torso viewed from the side, with a sword instead of an arm, and some sort of helmet?
273  Other / Off-topic / Re: When did you go to bed last night? (Daily thread) on: April 09, 2015, 07:55:41 AM
I'll sleep when I'm dead.

I can agree with that. Smiley

After pulling an all-nighter, this is going to be a long day.

275  Other / Off-topic / Re: Use of smileys/emoticons on: March 14, 2015, 04:00:11 AM
Well, if a reputed site hires me as a signature manager  Wink , or while sending PMs to a member here, or while making a post, is the use of emoticons or smileys considered appropriate?

Wanted to know how you guys think. Thanks Smiley

It depends on the circumstances, the subject being discussed and what you're linking the emoticon to. Not everyone likes to see them in serious discussions, but if you don't overuse them you should be okay.
276  Economy / Gambling / Re: Provably fair gambling sites on: March 14, 2015, 03:44:55 AM
can anyone give me suggest about 5 gambling sites which really use "Provably fair"?
because many people said, "house always win".

House always winning and being provably fair doesn't refer to the same thing. In the long run the house always wins even if they are provably fair, because of the house edge.

278  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why isis kill people because they are different? on: February 21, 2015, 05:42:54 AM
Do you know Osama-bin-laden was once in CIA in 1980's Undecided
Almost correct. OBL was part of the Afghan Mujaheddin who fought against the Russians. They were given money and arms connections by the CIA under Regan. Receiving money from the CIA is not the same as being in the CIA however. Lots of our enemies got this kind of money when they were our friends. Saddam Husein, several right-wing Latino groups, Iran, etc.  In the underworld you work with who you have not with who you wish you had.

Don't think you meant it, but that last part almost makes it sound like there was no other choice but to work with all those bad guys. There were alternatives to working with Saddam Hussein, helping him kill his own people and helping him attack Iran. There were alternatives to the coup in Iran that put a western puppet back in power. Etc. If alternatives weren't followed, it was because those didn't fit with the policy of keeping as much control as possible over the world.

Ladies and gentlemen I believe chavs have finally figured out how to use Bitcoin, seriously, my eyes are bleeding.

ISIS is a cult sprung from mainstream religion and simply follow tenets and beliefs that the rest of them would prefer to ignore and yes, they were funded by the CIA during the rebellion against Sadam Hussein and Assad.

CIA = ISIS ?

I just figured it out from your post and I'm kindda shocked

ISIS is getting more cruel than before  Angry

CIA = ISIS ? lol no, but they were funded previously by cia, and just like everything else americans touched, it turned against them.
ISIS doesnt deserve to be mentioned anywhere, they should just be eliminated by ground troops and left in the history. Noone sane would interpret Qur'an in the way they're doing it, but it doesnt take much for an madman to misinterpret anything to serve their delusional ideas.

But what would come out after ISIS is eliminated by ground troops? I don't think you can solve this only by bombing and killing people. I think it needs to be a more general approach: stop interfering in the region, funding extremist groups, and removing moderates. For example, stopping the support Saudi Arabia gets would do more to stop these problems occurring again in the future.
280  Other / Off-topic / Re: What tricks do you use to help you sleep? on: February 17, 2015, 03:07:59 AM
If you're like me, sleep time is when all the day's stresses flood your brain and sometimes make it difficult to fall asleep. I've found that counting numbers (1+2 = 3 + 3 = 6 +4 = 10 etc etc) is distracting and has a soothing effect. If that fails, alcohol always helps.

What methods are you guys using?

- Watch movie
- Playing game
- Watch porn Tongue

I don't have any problem going to sleep, but are you sure watching porn helps? It's a good distraction, but you're not going to sleep anytime soon after that. Smiley

Hard work

+1 Not being a lazy fuck helps.

Why do you assume he is lazy. Maybe he works really hard as a hitman. Tongue
