261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 06, 2020, 01:29:52 PM

The last three IEO that were held on Binance show the lowest profit in relation to the previous ones. Axie Infinity, Injective Protocol and Alpha Finance Lab brought their investors a profit of approximately 200%. If this profit is compared with that received by the investors of Sandbox (SAND), it will be less than 5 times. Does this mean that the IEO time has already passed?
I think AXS is pretty good in their IEO. maybe there are several factors that make the current IEO only set a fairly low value when compared to the IEO a year ago. for example is matured investors, because they can't spent like on crazy bull run a few years ago or something like that
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: November 04, 2020, 11:30:48 AM
In my opinion, the emergence of new cryptos is good but we also have to be objective in seeing and analyzing new projects that we want to join so that we don't get caught up in scam projects. We also should not be easily influenced by the tantalizing promises offered by the new project, we must first analyze before making a decision.
DYOR is very important in this blockchain space, especially for new projects that coming in. at least we need to understand the team behind the projects. avoid projects with 0 knowledge about blockchain and crypto because it will only waste your time
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unacceptable attitudes from new project teams on: November 04, 2020, 11:28:14 AM
We can't force escrow strategy on bounty managers, it's the team choice to use escrow or not, believe me even if all reputable bounty managers on this forum start using escrow many new promising projects won't accept and there is nothing anyone can do about it, joining bounties is not a must so discussing about this doesn't count or change anything.
Escrow is a good thing in bounties, but we still have to be able to see where we are right now. Because bounties are made in general, what the general meaning is that you are free to join them or not. If you don't want your time to be wasted on taking part in a worthless bounty, you can do some research on the project first, so the chances of getting paid will at least increase.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fast food restaurants accepting crypto as payment method? on: November 03, 2020, 01:09:37 PM
Some users already suggested where you can find restaurants that offer Bitcoin payment methods. Personally, I have not really tried using bitcoin in restaurants because it's rare to find one in my country, so you will probably see one depending on how popular bitcoin is in your country. Before I have already heard several small restaurants offering bitcoin however since there's no much demand using it, they just stop accepting it.

It would be nice to see a growing number of restaurants accepting bitcoin payment because it just means that the adoption is growing but I still think that it's more convenient to use cash when buying foods in restaurants.
Yep, for restaurants like Burger King and other big Frenchises, I think they also have to get permission first, because in some countries they impose quite difficult regulations in their payment systems. If it's not really popular, I think paying with cash is still better
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Stays Above USD 13,000, Altcoins Take Hit on: November 03, 2020, 12:57:25 PM

I would look at the situation with the US presidential elections from the other side and at the real impact of this event on the cryptocurrency market. We are not talking about the fact that after the victory of one or another candidate, their supporters will start buying cryptocurrency, because we are talking primarily about further policy regarding cryptocurrency and the cryptocurrency market of Trump or Biden. At least Until today, we have very often heard Trump's negative statements regarding Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, which negatively affected the cryptocurrency market.
ahh, I understand. but I also feel that bitcoin still can't break the priority scale of the US government after the election, whether trump or biden wins, they still have a lot more things they have to do before entering into bitcoin regulation. Maybe there will be an effect later, but not in the near future, so I don't think there will be a strong influence from the election
266  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH? on: November 03, 2020, 12:48:17 PM
Following PayPal information, Venmo allows payment of its services in BTC, ETH and a few other tokens, the price of BTC has increased sharply, sometimes surpassing $ 13,000 and is still holding at $ 12900. But why is the market reacting so positively?  BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH?
$20,000 had been already passed years ago so if you are speculating for another hype this  must be 21,000 and up lol.
But in regards to PayPal adoption?Look at the market now,do you think that is enough to expect this Hype?
or maybe the situation is just starting the process since Cypto is New to PayPal and their users might searching and starting to learn about these market.
Maybe in months or year from this point we will see the effect and might bring us Great Pump that we have been waiting for almost 3 years now.
Maybe need sometimes to adjust the current situations. I think more about how paypal can affect other things, so paypal's influence will probably be visible when some big institutions follow it. that will make bitcoin really experience a good pump and not just because of the trend or hype
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: November 03, 2020, 12:41:13 PM
I think it's even harder to keep money. I used to make a lot money from trading,  It was many times higher than the income from the main job, but easily lost it later when holding altcoins. There are many ways to monetize crypto, but you have to learn how to keep money first.
so you make money from trading and used the money to invest on altcoins? that's your fault, you could have take some profits and invest the rest on top altcoins like ethereum or litecoin, this will give you more confidence than investing on new altcoins, adjust yourself
Did you not do research before? like the basics of investing? if it's investing on altcoints, it depends on the ability to pick the good one. holding altcoins isn't favourable imo, because the value always decreases mostly. But it's a different story if you have the ability to analyze a new altcoins, you might be able to get multiple profits just by holding it, if you're lucky you can definitely get top tier projects at lower prices at the presale.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why New Crypto Projects are Dump ? on: November 03, 2020, 12:28:42 PM
It is a normal scenario for those who had been here in the forum especially in the ICO period where almost all of the projects are scam. Nowadays, as defi was being hype some projects became successful. The good thing was some bounty hunters had earn to it. However, there are still more defi projects being run that are also scam. The scam never really get tired making money in a much more easy way so expect more project will be coming like this in the future after defi project losing confidence from the investors.
Good point, many shit projects comes up because they think that they can take advantage of the "defi" decentralized system. make a random project with a plan to get profit easily. Actually we can still do filters or atleast precautions, but because of the hype and the current trend which is quite crazy (almost the same as ICO 2017), it turns out that there are still many people who are trapped
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for ETH on: November 03, 2020, 08:42:15 AM
BREAKING: The Reserve Bank of Australia exploring potential use of a digital currency (CBDC) that will be powered by the Ethereum blockchain!

Great news, It seems like the adoption is real and moving forward in all four corners of the globe, I hope it will continue to develop further, and because it involves the Ethereum Network can we expect a pump in the coming days? But to be honest CBDC's are trending nowadays and look's like many countries are already exploring any possibilities about it.
I already expect a news like this after the Paypal announcement actually. Sooner or later big major institutions will follow up, same as like JP morgan and Paypal, it's just matter of time. and i believe that this is only the begining, crypto space will gaining big time start from december to 2021

271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN Hacked on: October 30, 2020, 10:00:21 AM
I think this is the first time that kucoin got hacked if I'm not wrong. I thought kucoin has a solid security but still hacker destroyed it. Damn 150 million dollars was lost, lucky hacker that money is too much for living. Seems inside job because how hacker broke the security easily?...
Iam sure not that easy, but yeah this is super huge, it's 3rd largest hack in crypto industry so far. I hope this is the last and will not happen again. Even though all customer funds can be recovered, things like this still show that there are still gaps that can be penetrated. No security is perfect, but all in all there will be better preventive measures in the future
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: October 30, 2020, 09:27:26 AM
you are right, just invite without telling the risk will only get us in trouble.  there is no profit that we get (personally) when someone starts to enter crypto but we will get in big trouble if that person loses a lot when he/she is just starting out in crypto.  In 2018, many of my friends were against me when the price of Bitcoin fell from $ 20k to $ 8k, at that time they said I was a liar and caused them to lose.  from that incident, I learned to tell them (the people I would invite) the biggest risks when investing in crypto..
Haha that must be hard for you. inviting people to start crypto is not wrong, but at least you have to explain to them that crypto has a high risk, and if you don't have basic knowledge at least how to trade or do easy speculation you shouldn't influence them to join, give them an initial explanation first how the flow goes
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AUDIO massive pump after surprise Binance support on: October 30, 2020, 09:22:31 AM
I guess I missed the ”beat” on this one, lol. Because it's AUDIO. Cheesy

Being part of the number #1 exchange for sure would create a lot of fuss and hype with announcements. Remember that they almost cater to everyone in the world, and if they recommend it, a lot of people will buy that just because of that support.

We won't know the real reason why they would be supporting it, but it has received a lot of hype and BTC.
yea because it's binance  Cheesy. I believe that Binance itself has a strong enough influence to pump coins. of course there must be some marketing they are doing, apart from that maybe in my opinion we have missed the opportunity because the pump that happened was high enough to reach a phase where it would go down, but who knows what happened next right
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: October 30, 2020, 09:16:54 AM
I still watch them. Ethereum or Binance coin both have equivalent appeal to me, two are genuine gem on this market. It's true the early investors make good money through this two coins. If you're ain’t ready for investing then must consider it, you’ll start making real earnings in this market when you're involving. There's ton of reason behind it why I prefer, just make your own research.

BNB has a lot of potential, so as the ETH, but if you'll ask me, I would go more aggressive on investing BNB than ETH as this IMO this coin is more complete and they know how to play the game, you know, their marketing is very effective and their exchange has a big influence why investors and traders will get hype.
Marketing is one of the indicators to determine how the coins or projects will be in the future. not just money spending and reckless marketing effort, but need best timing and some power influncer. since it's BNB and it's binance, i think they don't have any problem on the terms of marketing. Not really sure now, but ethereum is also one of the best coin right now, so i'll preffer for eth
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: October 30, 2020, 09:12:22 AM
It's bound to happen, many projects are rushed and later get abandoned as time goes on, we have too many inexperienced developers in crypto space, if there is a way to give access to only those who are qualified we will have less scam and fail projects in crypto space today
Ya ya, a lot of projects close because some of their team inexperienced in this industry, preffer to avoid more lost than continue the projects. but we also need to understand that there's also some factors that maybe forced them to stop their project development
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: October 29, 2020, 04:08:20 PM
Actually there is no coins for now who can beat to the ethereum because it is high potential in all altcoins.
Here is my coins that possible but not actally sure if it can do it in the future BNB and ripple is my choices for the next ethereum.
I have more coins that is more potential and I do not know which among of them are possible to become the next ethereum
Ripple is a shit in my opinions, preffer cardano with better development. but i agree that no one can beat ethereum for now. almost all the projects in this space using ethereum as their main platform
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I believe this is the way on: October 29, 2020, 04:05:52 PM

Hello! Not all want to be rich, every person has it's on goal in life not just to become rich. Not all people here aiming to become rich instead they want to earn even a little to sustain the needs of their family specially for their daily essential needs.

Buy and sell during pump and dump will not guaranty that you will earn too much because it all depends on what coin you are going to buy and sell in the market. Remember everything in crypto space is always includes high risk.
Very nice, i also preffer to sustainability, but i never see crypto as my main tools to get money, there's also another way. but yeah, we all need to realize that crypto is high risk, and you can't always get profit from them, that;s why you need to get prepared before jump into the crypto space
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Toyota IT Division to Launch Own Digital Currency on: October 29, 2020, 03:59:13 PM
This is such good news. The Japanese always know how to surprise the world. Even if the currency of Toyota's IT division doesn't much affect the whole cryptocurrency market, it makes more sense that JP Morgan's digital currency. It will trigger a currency race between big companies and hence, enhance blockchain adoption.
I think if it's Toyota, there will be more company will follow them. atleast one of the zaibatsu in Japan, and yes it will make japanese compete more on blockchain technology
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you think you are smart just know that some are smarter on: October 29, 2020, 03:55:32 PM
The thing is, they really have to expect many wallet to fall into that trap for them to get a reasonable amount out of this old trick, because eth for transaction fee is not a serious amount, but except that greedy person is stupid enough to send a reasonable amount to a wallet that is not yours, even if you find private key, as long as the wallet was not created by you there is no need to send reasonable amount to such wallet.
Yo, iam just thinking how people still can get scammed by that obvious trap. ofcourse greed is always the reason, but cmon, that's old trick. Hope some people can create good blog post for this kind of thing so people don't get scammed again
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your fears in new cryptocurrency? on: October 29, 2020, 03:48:29 PM
As an adult, you should now what you should do even in the cryptocurrency space. you also need to understand that there's no instant succes in crypto, you need to learn from mistakes and getting more experience so you can overcome your fears
