This roadmap looks exciting! Energy efficient ARM mining implementation and especially a mobile wallet, will be huge! There are so many other points touched on as well... There is so much to come. dMote and the XDN team are an asset to the cryptonote community and the crypto community in general. Good job and great work! GUI looks great... when is it coming out?

Ok, I switched 2 rigs over to test. Is this normal behavior? 09/14/14-11:26:30 - SHARE FOUND (target 15000) - (GPU 3) 09/14/14-11:26:31 - SHARE FOUND (target 15000) - (GPU 1) DevFee: 09/14/14-11:26:41 - SHARE FOUND (target 7500) - (GPU 0) Error in server response : {"id":1,"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-1,"message":"Duplicateshare"}} Stratum - connecting to 'usa.monero.rs' <198.27.78.226> port 4444 Stratum - Connected DevFee: Pool Diff 7500 09/14/14-11:26:42 - SHARE FOUND (target 15000) - (GPU 1) 09/14/14-11:26:52 - SHARE FOUND (target 15000) - (GPU 2) 09/14/14-11:26:52 - SHARE FOUND (target 15000) - (GPU 2)
Duplicate shares (stale share) is quite rare but it happens with every just about every mining pool at some point or another. These are indeed very rare, unless it's a common occurence I wouldn't worry about it.

General rule of thumb for alt coins - the more trolls it attracts, the more potential it has.
This is the golden rule... look what happened to URO. Btw, OP is an idiot.

Just want to point out that the tx links are broken, monerochain seems out of date, since it works on chainradar.
|
|
|
I must say, its working like a charm. On minergate using a few of my servers I was doing around 12 000 h/s.. using Monero.rs I'm doing around 16 000 h/s.. That is a considerable jump!
That's because Minergate is a scam.

We are unable to pick the final winner for the giveway. While we have read all entries, there are numerous that suggest features that are already implemented into the pool. We cannot pick these, therefore we are re-opening the giveaway for the last 20 XMR. Good luck!
Just give it to the devs fund, there is not much to be done with a pool anyway, I'm glad you didn't implemented registration since its both annoying and security issue. I agree, the devs have a rocky road ahead, they need it most...

Install a keylogger on all of the computers, that's the only way to really to track down his identity if he decides to log on Facebook or something.

Affiliate/Referral comission! My how-to mine $currency instructions and tips get thousands of page views a day. I dont want a check from google, i want referral comission! Implement a new variable in the syntax, eg. -r $refID. I'd be happy with 1% of the income people i refer to make Referrals would assume the pool had some sort of registration, otherwise it's very hard to reliably implement. I don't think miners are going to bother with "-r $refID".

If you can implement it; merged mining with other CryptoNote coins.

started mining from last 20 min and stats not showing still?? how much time does it take to update the stats?
Normally stats should update instantly. If you have low end mining hardware, it will take a while to submit work to the pool, can you PM me your mining address? here is my address 49AR1uxvamvboJETre6C18ZXZkuQnq5ye2PntGHr39DB4EGihkqEwhBCafouzNmg5TRejhUsgmEWxYs CF246qDoL7AqBdFX i mined for approx 1 hours and still no status...my hash speed is around 1kh/s so its enough to submit the shares frequently .... now i have shifted to another pool.. There is a SPACE between your address. Right here: 49AR1uxvamvboJETre6C18ZXZkuQnq5ye2PntGHr39DB4EGihkqEwhBCafouzNmg5TRejhUsgmEWxYs CF246qDoL7AqBdFX

Breakeven with the 110 Mh/s miner is still atleast 3 months, assuming the diff doesn't change. Doesn't look like it can ROI.

But who would pay people to do this? First, to who or what is Uro a threat? I honestly can't see anyone that would be behind this. Second, why try to kill it through fud? I mean, there are probably better ways to kill a coin than FUD, I doubt any of their comments are having much of an impact.
It's not about it being a threat. It's about potentially MILLIONS of dollars at stake and if you are so greedy that you would do ANYTHING to try and get a coin as cheap as possible that could inflate your wealth significantly, why NOT pay some people to FUD a coin and drop the price? If you don't think the FUD hasn't had an impact you weren't there that day when everyone was excited from the price rise to .03 and then an army of sock accounts and newbies invaded the URO thread to FUD it and it tanked the price down 80-90% in just hours. Also consider for some people around the world, the prospect of getting paid .5 btc or whatever the going rate is to FUD a coin non-stop for a month beats sewing shoes or soldering electronics in a sweat shop. Ask yourself why Chang and crew hasn't fudded this heavily on all the other scam coins on bitcointalk? Where were they when I outed Darkcash? Exactly this. URO is like a FUDers dream come true, there is potentially more to be gained than from FUDing any other coin.

You should be getting atleast 400 H/s out of those CPUs (mine are hashing at 451 H/s)
How though? I've tried on a variety of *very expensive* hardware from Dell. Each has 100gigs of ram, 24 cpus, etc.. Ubuntu 14.04: # sysctl -w vm.nr_hugepages=72 (confirmed that it is set) # git clone https://github.com/wolf9466/cpuminer-multi.git# cd cpuminer-multi # ./autogen.sh # ./configure CFLAGS="-march=native" # make # make install # screen -d -m -S minerd /usr/local/bin/minerd -o stratum+tcp://mro.pool.minergate.com:45560 -p x -u x # screen -r (after a few hours of running) [2014-08-03 06:05:25] accepted: 3952/7916 (49.92%), 288.94 H/s at diff 444 (yay!!!) example of hardware: 24 CPUs - Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2420 0 @ 1.90GHz another example: 24 CPUs - Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5650 @ 2.67GHz Don't set threads equal to number of CPU threads, that is wrong. The general rule is threads = floor(L3 cache / 1024) Use this: num_threads=$(($(cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep "cache size" | uniq | cut -d":" -f2 | cut -d" " -f2)/1024)) Should be 12 for X5650
