261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining the world's first PoW-based NFT by CPU on: December 12, 2021, 04:04:16 PM
nft should fit or minting to biggest network or the safest one, immutable ledger, yes only eth best place for nft specially the expensive one

for experiment, other algo doable, and this cpu mineable algo remain more decentralized if malware mining off shore

Whales Pool

Hashing algorithm: darkcoin

Settings for HiveOS (custom miner)
Installation URL:

Amd video cards mine this algorithm poorly, but at RTX 3060 and higher it is more profitable to mine this coin.

is this new coin, or old coin changing the algo, that darkcoin remind me dash  Cheesy , any info about amd performance, got 3060 laptop

i should try for fun, sometimes this gonna get quite profit for while before anyone join the network
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What will be the Fate of miners in 2022 on: December 11, 2021, 01:04:41 PM
Today is December 1st 2021 and I will like to know how your mining experience have been so far, also what do you think about mining in 2022 do you think it's a good time to buy graphic cards? What happened to all those warning us to stop buying cards few months ago? I've made back my ROI already  Cheesy what about you?
those who suggesting about buying coin instead mining is for maximize profit but higher risk, you cant go wrong with mining if bullrun still intact even buying rigs at 2x msrp

me as miner didnt buy any gpus after 2020, 2019 is the cheapest for building rigs, glad i always buy gpus at msrp or below
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Computer mining is costly nowadays. Does anyone use mobile phones to mine? on: December 11, 2021, 12:41:32 PM
???Traditional computer computing power
there is ssd mining, compute mining, wireless/data mining, there is no mobile mining, the computation is to far compared current mining hardware, no matter how good your mobile, for experiment is doable, for profit forget it, isnt worth sacrifice your phone for couple bucks/year
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gaining access to my alt coins I mined once on: December 10, 2021, 11:20:56 AM
well this posting remembering me when mining eth in 2015, single tahiti gpu can produce 2eth/days, dumping every day on poloniex, when the day got morethan 10eth/day

so happy while eth under 1$ lol, what mistake if we're thinking that value growth so fast
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where can I exchange news about mining new coins? on: December 10, 2021, 11:17:31 AM
I have some news about mining coins with higher returns than ETH, and I want to exchange peer-to-peer news or something of value
hmmm so you expecting money to info other mineable coin than eth at very moment, might be the coin has low liquidity on exchange and we as miner wont mine coin like that

if the coin can sustain earning from big farm, then you can contact miner dev, pool, or farmer.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is GPU mining really dying? on: December 09, 2021, 02:18:33 PM
i'm feeling this situation same as you, and many miner should be the same, when no mineable coin can handle if eth switch to pos

many coin developer dont not favor in gpu mining anymore, even zcash want to move pos like eth did, yes old coin only mineable with asic, for small miner we can switch other coin easy
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining heat increased after adding more GPUs on: December 09, 2021, 02:15:03 PM
Facing heat problem with my mining rig after adding 4 extra cards to the number, now not even my table fan can keep up I mean suppress the heat and this rig is in my living room, here are my questions

1. Are mid heats safe for one's health?
2. Is there any exhaust fan you can recommend?
well how the hell you put rigs on living room beside we're winter now, assuming that situation make your decison put on that room

exhaust fan pretty damn good for mining, put in&out fan so the room can circulate better, hope you doing well, single rig in ambient temp at 28c can drive up 10c more, and that room not good for living, i cant handle that heat
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU scarcity no more? on: December 09, 2021, 02:10:53 PM
I'm hearing a rumour that GPUs are back in store and they are not scarce as before again how true is this? Also what advice would you give someone who wants to build mining rig from any moment from now?
well that rumor maybe for some retailer in china and need to buy whole pc to get gpu at msrp like you buying gaming laptop

tsmc said until 2023 gpu/chip will hardly to find in store, if gpu flooding to store, console might be the first priority and today its getting rare
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: cryptotab browser experience on: December 08, 2021, 12:24:03 PM
Dear all,

do you have tested CryptoTab Browser ?
With a "standard" PC running 24\24 I get an HashRate of 2 KH\s and about 1,5 µBTC\day.
Is it right in your opinion or too low or very good ?
Can you tell me if CryptoBrowser can work with an USB ASIC conncted to the PC and how ?

I have a last question: can I earn 1500 µBTC\day with a 2000 KH\s PC with the same software?
is like monero malmware, you should check cpu usage when using that thing, and most of them is scam, there is no point if thats real earning

your electric cost far morethan you can earn for that hashrate, forget it, and try use miner instead to try real mining, maybe you get more knowledge, forget about profit
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Question gpu with entrance pcie 1x on: December 08, 2021, 10:49:09 AM
I have a particular question i don't want to use a riser to add a new gpu to my pc but i want to directly hook up a gpu with 1x pcie input can you tell me some valid brand of gpu for mining?
there is no gpu with pcie 1x Grin the bandwith doesnt quite enough for gaming purpose, and do you think it would be wobble because small port pcie 1x, and make the pin shortconnected, isnt safe either no one would create gpu with pcie1x, just bought new motherboard using 8x full pcie 16x slot
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Best sgminer so far for x25x/lyra2Z/phi2/allium/lyra2REv3/yescrypt on AMD on: December 07, 2021, 01:28:30 PM
sgminer & cgminer is old days free mining software, remember good old days with these miner, its my first miner when many coin pop up everyday do mineable way

nowdays only few mineable coin exist, new coin mostly token, and minting from nowhere, back in the day it will be called instamine or scam lol
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Free electricity on: December 07, 2021, 01:23:57 PM
I'm starting to wonder if the so called free electricity from few members on here are really free or they are breaking the laws and stealing electricity to mine crypto currency, is there any country with free electricity with zero bills? I think this is impossible

If anyone is into this act two things are involved

1. If you are living with others without them knowing that you are mining coins you are personally robbing people, this can't be called free electricity

2. If you are living alone and you are using free electricity it means you have bypass electricity into your home, basement or garage for crypto mining which can land you in big problem in future because you will eventually get caught and all those free money you've made with be paid for, you can even get jailed for this

free electric using power from workplace  Cheesy, or using server to mine monero, many posibility for free electric aka stealing

building turbin or hydro generator need big land around the river, and maintenance the turbin is quite exhausted, solar is easiest but pretty expensive by the batteries
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: mining will become illegal on: December 07, 2021, 01:14:09 PM
in my country mining is becoming illegal
any ideas on how to rebuild my rigs to be hidden or to look like a home pc
thanks
vpn, build your own electric using turbin if cheaper compared solar, maybe the concerned illegal on mining is to much sucking lot of electric

mining on laptop is doable, how the earth goverment know inside your house if you had rigs in basement,
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Motherboard for PCI Express v4.0 RTX 3070 on: December 06, 2021, 01:27:50 PM
Hi there mining experts,

I'm planning to build a small mining rig using six RTX 3070 TUF GPUs. This card got PCIE 4.0 interface. However most motherboards seems to be having PCIE 3 sockets. Would there be an issue connecting it to a PCIe 3 slot?

Thanks
nope you its same perfomance on mining cause only small bandwith that use for mining, even pcie.2 still doing fine, your will run those gpus in 1x slot with riser

keep in mind if youre using multi psu, the power riser from psu = the power source psu for gpu power, dont mix with different source power from other psu,
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mininig with Air Conditioner ??? on: December 06, 2021, 01:47:58 AM
I saw before miner strip down ac and build cooling directly to gpu heatsink, and it successfully turning down lot of heat in modified cooler, this most effective way using ac for mining compared standar cooling down the room, which is worst for miner only down 1-2c for massive wattage
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is GPU mining really dying? on: December 06, 2021, 01:44:36 AM
Hardly to say when gpu miner only left few mineable coin these day, and many new project mostly deploy on above other chain, specially we re on silicon shortage, and concerned for green industry another hit for miner industry
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to mine with Asus Rog Strix B450-f Gaming using more than 1 gpus on: December 05, 2021, 04:57:05 PM
Hello,

I can not for the life of me get more than 1 gpu running on this MB.  I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler.  I'm trying to run 3090 + 1080 gpus but can not get it to work.  Ideally i want to run all 6 pcie slots (5 if i have to) but I can't even get 2 working together. I can only run all of my gpus one at a time. I'm using 1x risers.   I've updated the bios, drivers to the latest etc.  I've set the bios to default optimal settings.  that didn't work.  I've modified the bios countless times setting pcies to gen1, gen2 (not gen3 yet should I?).  I've set the pciex to 1x 4x auto etc... I've put the pcie risers in different various slots to see if that's an issue.  I've set the above 4g decoding on.  nothing works ever! Any ideas?!

Anything else i'm missing?
Thanks!
basically you start mining from gaming, and using pc part that already had, and these motherboard is not optimized for run multi gpus, yes you can get run all those pcie if luck

but sometimes error will happen in the future, some gpus maybe not detect and you need restore point, or trying swap different pcie line, reseting cmos, or swap the ram

is exhausted mining on this, better buy dedicated motherboard instead
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I am going to launch a new rig On P5P43TD Asus motherboard on: December 05, 2021, 04:50:26 PM
Hi friends

I'm installing a new rig, I have an old system to use to get rid of, P5P43TD motherboard, 8GB DDR3 Ram and intel Xeon L5410 cpu ,12M Cash
I want to evaluate these pieces using mining.

I would like to ask you, can I build a rig with these old parts together with the 2x RTX 3060 Ti 8GB? Are there problems such as not recognizing cards or not seeing them? or other problems?

thank you for your answers

motherboard

https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5P43TD/
yes you can but pci lines is limited, buying new rigs is cheap specially you had rtx3060ti and those old rigs consume more power, and the driver might obsolute for windows,

if linux still doable, most of motherboard failure when they put on high humidity for long time, try to heat with solder gun if something error happen
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: using 2 different miners on the same computer on: December 05, 2021, 04:42:22 PM
yes you can separate running hardware in same computer, and using 2 instance for 2 device, the logic same apply with different config or pool as you want

even single gpu can run multiminer multipool multialgo and crashing, remember good old day when mining script in single gpu using 3 instance with different config
