Ideally, it should output the URL pointing at the new post, including the post number.

So you want to edit the opening post and add new replies to your thread through command line. If so that's possible

And one more thing i a not able to clearly catch the above quoted line, Explain a bit more
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: to all gamble site master , how much do you want to pay for a regular player? on: October 07, 2016, 08:31:49 AM
Ha ha  you are trying too hard to get gamblers for your site, But always wrong method to do.

No regular gamblers will get attracted for little incentive, Only newbies will come in. See regular gamblers need attractive betting options to get more profit, not bonus or giveaways.

Try something like this, Happy hour or block something like that. Give double payout to those win in that particular bet and give back 10% to whom lost their bet provided they have bet at least twice or thrice the same day.  (choose your own strategy)

Don't offer something fixed to any gambler, because gambling is based on greed and loss catchers. So wager or fixed incentive(use any word) doesn't create interest in gamblers

264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PLAY FOR INDIANS AND RED SOX GAME TONIGHT on: October 07, 2016, 06:52:10 AM
I am starting a service selling my picks for sports!

What is the difference between me and the hundreds of other cappers selling their picks and myself? The answer is simple. If my pick does not win, I don't get paid. If the pick does not win, you do not pay anything to me at all.

After the pick wins you pay not before.

I only sell my picks right now for $2.

Feel free to message me and I will tell you the pick. Thanks!  Cheesy

Wow really awesome technique, If you have listed out why should we trust your pick to be correct. Share some of your past experience and winning streaks here, else are you just playing cards, pick a result randomly and get paid if that wins else not paid, So without any knowledge of betting and gambling you want to be seemed as genuine and legitimate for providing your advice.

This seems fishy and not trustable
265  Economy / Services / Re: Best Bitcoin PPC and CPM advertising network? on: October 07, 2016, 04:46:27 AM
Use diversified ad networks, don't just choose one. Everyone needs are different and audience are much more different for every network, So choose some networks and advertise in them, continue with the profitable ad networks in future.

Do your research, never rely on a single network to get results. No one can exactly say which ad network is good for your campaign. Search for other networks too which doesn't accept bitcoin, Sometimes you may get good results there.

267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the primary lessons you earn after you gamble? on: October 06, 2016, 05:48:08 PM
Well after gambling many times , worst mistake i did was chasing after the losses, So i regret and now i never chase loss after a winning streak. Usually whenever we have winning streak and suddenly lose a few, we would chase to gain back the profit and lose all and eventually deposit more to lose only, whenever there is temper we can't make right decisions.

So this is what i learned never chase the loss to make it profit. just gamble with affordable bitcoin, win or lose just stay with it
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who here bets more than $1000 a game? on: October 06, 2016, 04:47:08 PM
$1000 bet in a game, So huge and not affordable for me, My total accumulated bet for one year will not cross 1000 usd. i remember approx 700 usd in total till now i have spent in gambling. That too my own pocket money would be only less than $300, Rest i won through gambling and finally lost them in gambling.

But $1000 a game would be insane for me, may be he is a millionaire and he can afford to bet in thousands of dollars.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much does it cost to create a btc gambling site? on: October 06, 2016, 03:55:05 PM
For Developing it will cost you only few bitcoins
Hosting depends on players and traffic.
Advertising 5 BTC
Promos and offers 25 BTC

But for bankroll, estimation can't be given approx too, in long run house edge will increase your bankroll. Yep you are right But if some players got lucky bankroll will be big problem, but you can try for investors for bankroll, If luckily got more investor bankroll problem is solved.

But how do you think you can successfully run a gambling site where many site disappear within few months. Only a few stand for long period
270  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Earn Free Bitcoin!!Every 30 minutes earn satoshi] on: October 06, 2016, 03:36:36 PM
Insufficient funds so fast within a day, did you get so much traffic to empty your balance or did some bot eat up all your balance, If so how much did you loose.

You site is taking too long to load and try to add some anti bot links in your site. lower your referral commission to 50% or even lower would work fine. Be careful with adsense ads, you might get banned,  Have some other ad networks too Choose from here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1108616.0

Also take time to read this thread to prevent your faucet from bots and scammers

271  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Earn Up To 1000 Satoshi Per 30 Minutes on: October 06, 2016, 03:08:13 PM
New Faucet Here  Cheesy
You can earn up to 1000 satoshi per 30 minutes  Cheesy

http://mmsatoshicoin.ml/
http://mhuads.ml/faucet/

Wow that's cools changed the claim rates and time period between claims within a day, This is not good for long run, you should have calculate the after effects before deciding the claim rates and time. If you have changed it at least after a wee i would have appreciated your judgement (maybe correct or wrong).

272  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: October 06, 2016, 03:00:35 PM
I have no doubts about the fact that the Dollar will win from the Bitcoin because the bitcoin is still too small and the Dollar is way to big to get defeated.
What people also are saying is true the bitcoin is a sort of depending on it.

bitcoin is not depending on anything else.
it is a stand alone money without the need to any other currency.

the fact that its price is measured in USD or any other fiat for that matter is only because we need something to measure it with. nothing else.

In a sense that is correct, Bitcoin is not depending on fiat. But price of most products or services sold in bitcoin is adjust according to the fiat currency specifically USD.

No one sells something for fixed 1 btc when price of bitcoin falls or rises. they will the the bitcoin amount accordingly, so in other way bitcoin is dependent on fiat currency
273  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ><><>The Bitcoin Faucet <><>< 100 - 500 Satoshi every 30 minutes! 20% REF! on: October 06, 2016, 12:14:18 PM
Initially i suspected the site for legitimacy of the rewards percentage, But i got lucky in 3 claims 500 sathoshi paid to faucetbox.

No popups, no anti bot link, No annoying GIF ads, One page faucet. I really think whether this faucet can survive on the long run.
Better add few more pages to your faucet, and try to place some more different ad network ads and anti bot link is better to have but that will reduce the number of users and also it will reduce number of bots to your faucet.

Good luck mate

274  Other / Meta / Re: How do I change the way I view PM's? on: October 06, 2016, 11:28:35 AM
Me too have the same problem, am missing many replies and for get what was the conversation before with the member, etc..

Actually an alternate way is available but not so efficient. Create label for each users message and when ever you receive a Personal message select and drop to that label, but you cant do that with the outbox messages, But you can view all incoming messages from a members in ascending order.

But this doesn't solve the issue for me completely, but its helpful for me.
275  Other / Meta / Re: Does bitcointalk use JavaScript? on: October 06, 2016, 09:45:37 AM
The forum actually uses some JavaScript for Ajax functionality.
You can read it here. And I think, the forum is built on open source forum tool named PHPBB. jQuery is not been used though. There is a function in that to post data to server in javascript.

The forum is secured for Injections
They even check HTTP referrer to process any data received
They have good session management.

Recently someone tried d-DOS to take server down, in vain, ROFL. I think it'd be pretty hard to do anything stupid on application layer. Try on network layer. And remember, they're running on one of the safest Operating System FreeBSD 6.2 OS. And only 2 ports are opened to public access, Port 80(HTTP) and 443(HTTPS) with nginx server. And they're not vulnerable for  SSL Heartbleed too.

Anyway, Good luck. Happy Hunting!
276  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: This guy scammed me 12eur! on: October 06, 2016, 09:04:26 AM
After logged into PayPal, Go more --> Resolution Centre and select tab report a problem

Then search for your transaction, select that particular transaction, now go ahead with your description about the scam, Better avoid saying about bitcoin. you have a fair chance of rejecting your charge-back claim

So go for some other digital goods, Read this thread before filing charge-back, where many users has discussed about bitcoin charge-backs with PayPal

277  Economy / Exchanges / Re: coinbase help please on: October 06, 2016, 07:04:06 AM
Best way would be go to localbitcoins, Many options to sell your bitcoins available on the site. If you still need some other method, post a trade in this forum to sell your bitcoins, But use escrow from trusted members, also better to trade with trusted members.

Post here on this board  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0

Use escrow from this list  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0
278  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: October 06, 2016, 06:40:11 AM
My first option would be to invest in bitvest, since the site has an house profit of approx 2% which is good returns of the investment, here is the investment thread of bitvest https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1375103.0

If you are looking for further options, here is a thread where you can find list of investment options

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1136572.0

But that list is not update by the op so choose wisely

279  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: mybtclottery.com - caution - possible scam on: October 05, 2016, 05:34:05 PM
A new site bugs is common if they don't have sufficient funds for developing and maintaining. so i cannot come to conclusion whether that referral commission is bug or cheating from the website.

But If it is bug, i think everyone should stay away from the site, where the owner of the site seems short of funds to run or in a budget to run the site. which may get closed at any time.

If its cheating from the site damn sure everyone knows, we should stay away from the site.

So either way better to avoid the site till it becomes stable
280  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinTalk App (Android/iOS) on: October 05, 2016, 05:18:19 PM
I don't think creating an app without the API will merely be same as using the website in mobile browser, Only a very little feature can be added in mobile app.

No response, notification or callback can be done without using heavy resource by pinging the servers with HTTP headers in frequent intervals, so that the app can be nearly useful. But i think a mobile friendly design could be useful.
