What are the current prices for this coin anyway, and is it currently on any exchanges?

Anyone mining with a R9 270 or R9 270X? What are your configs and MH/s?
getting 1.3 on an msi 270x with: --thread-concurrency 16768 -I 18 --temp-cutoff 83 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1175 --gpu-memclock 1500 runs about 14c cooler than 450khash scrypt mining to boot.

That sucks, bro.
If it's any consolation (probably not), I heard a story on this forum once about a guy that formatted a drive with tens of thousands of coins on it. He said the worst part was his wife knowing about it.
espescially if she knew what they were worth now.. it'd be like dropping a damn winning lottery ticket into a fire... i dont even WANT to know what that would feel like.

I personally think an alt coin needs to be released that is literally aiming for like 5 or 10 second block times... one that orphans and fast paced excitement with tons of coin income per day is the name of the game (even if income is 100% of bitcoin).
there is just something awesome about getting 2k XXcoin per day vs whoop de doo.. 85 XXcoin in a day or 8.5 xxCoin per day...

why on earth would you have an unencrypted btc wallet....

I made some changes over what I normally run for scrypt coins: for my 7950s doing 600ish khs, I added: +0.00058207 to payout, and -s 1 --queue 0 --expiry 5
And my share count went up x10. I'm now seeing mined coin in my wallet literally constantly. yay!
you cant manipulate p2pool like that. CGminer will show the extra shares, but the pool still wont accept anything below its threshhold.

1) This is the wrong subsection for this post. 2) you are asking retail price for a used system.
These are new parts built two weeks ago. I cannot run from my location so I need to sell. I can give you receipts to verify. I'd be surprised if that thing could run ANYWHERE thats above freezing temperature.. 3 7950s in a case that doesnt even look to have the side fans installed.. sweet jeebus that thing is gonna be hot.

Don't complain about the pool operators. The network fee is 0.1 ltc

my idea: create a 8.0.1Z version or something that is IDENTICAL to the current one with the only different being the version number, this way it helps to quantify the support, or lack of the movement to keep microtransactions going on.
(not stating my opinion towards the issue, this is just an idea, instead of just flat out ignoring the new version)

the issue i have with this coin is the pool options are TERRIBLE.
p2pool.. super hihg share difficulty.. 30% reject rate.. ugh
normal pools.. you mine on them for like 12 hours.. and get 20% of the coins you should

Quick question, is there a CPU-mining program that can handle variable Scrypt rounds?
Edit: aside from the built-in miner, which is significantly slower.
if everyone is using the same software ot mine, the fact that it is slower will be irrelevant, as noone will have the advantage.

15 7950s, which can fit on 3-5 rigs (depending on how you plan to set them up), are only $4500. The rigs are $300 each (on the high end). It's not that big of an investment to get 10000kh/s. Even if you go three cards per rig and get nicer parts, your investment is only $6000. Maybe another $40 for risers.
Yep, made the calculation after looking at some hardware and you're actually right! What do people normally use raisers for, to space out the cards? also, you can use raisers to plug the GPU into a PCI-X 1x port. Mining does not require the bandwidth needed by playing video games, so 1x provides more than enough to give the GPU work to do. but yes, it allows you to seperate the motherboard from the gpu's, giving you far more space and much better cooling.

Noticed a few other potential legal hurdles, looking into them. If I can't figure out a way to do this coin in the grace of US law I won't be doing it. Sorry Idea's currently open to anyone else who wants to make it though... what kind of issues? Are they specific to the type of coin you are making.. or just altcoins in general?
