I think many coffee enthusiasts will be interested in this project. I like the concept, but the platform used is waves and this does not appeal to me.

I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.

Knowledge about the project is very important for us to know whether the project is promising or not. It's good that you did not get on scammers, because now there really are a lot of them. What criteria do you use when choosing ICO, if not secret? Mostly people are know about the team and the whitepaper. but they don't care with community behind it. But all of these indicators were very important to be learned before try to invest in the ico. Ico for the long-term investment and not only to flip your money. The battle is still on going and it will never stop until BCH's price touch below $1, this is not going to stop easily, "one must die and one must survive" is the type of battle between BTC and BCH. The most recent one for me is paypie. Their invoice selling features and Integration of account to blockchain has a huge potential. My top pick is KICKICO and COSS. These are some two projects with great idea, product and team. I am really looking forward to seeing them making some pretty good impact in the ecosystem and their future is bright. There are so many other ones anyway and so many upcoming ones that would really give some push for the crypto industry and I really hope holding them would really be the best decision. I can not understand your said, do you mean the price of Bitcoin will be high by it has limited total coin supply? But, you forget an update in the Bitcoin system. This system can clone to new coin through the hard fork and the ability of clonned coin still can support the transaction from Bitcoin. Recently, there are many people used Bitcoin Cash to replace Bitcoin transaction because the time confirm.

So the network is not congested and still has good capacity to accumulate for every single transaction. Correct, I hear many times that other coins are faster than bitcoin but what they never say to you is that those coins have almost no users, so it is obvious those networks are fast, if they needed to deal with the amount of transactions bitcoin needs to deal with they will not perform any better. I think fiat will be worthless after mass adoption is already happening. Even bitcoin reached $10k or more than that, it's still useless if we can't make people use bitcoin in their everyday lives and fiat will still dominate the money system.
If that mass adaption will have many establishment built for accessing and accepting bitcoin, for buying it and for making it grew then, fiat might really not needed providing that the internet connection is well fixed or it can access offline then it's possible, if not then, i doubt it. |

I see these fees as a huge problem and the biggest obstacle for btc to become a daily used coin.
BTC and the blockchain are relatively new, I'll keep the optimism, and wait that new implements, like the lightning network could solve this.
I agree with the issues on the fees being high for some transactions. Hopefully they do implement the lightning network into bitcoin itself and not some knock off. In any case i keep some ethereum and bitcoin on exchange like coinbase. Then i just get the shift debit card and link it for ability to use on normal everyday spending if i choose. Corrections were needed since fees were getting to high each time, some were too scared for fork since they doubt if it will be successful and might affect the price,we need to swe what will happen after fork if it will decrease in fees. |

2018 will be the year of alt coins. We will see a more massive pump then we did this year.
