261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make $5,000 a month day trading? on: August 25, 2021, 11:57:46 PM
With the following criteria...

1) Make spendable (can't use it to trade) $5,000 usd net a month.

2) Daytrading full time.

3) No other means of income (can't sell my service).

*4) Starting with $15,000.

5) Trading all crypto (not just btc).

* If it's not possible with $15k, then what's the minimum it would be possible with (of course this is considering this is the only hindrance).

This is the hardest part, we can't do an accurate math here  because generating a profit in trading doesn't have an accurate value. As the unpredictable market took many times to fluctuate, our gains also suffered a lot.
Maybe for those traders with huge buffer capital they'll going to earn that amount of $5k a month but for those who just trade with little capital that can't afford to lose, I guess $100 is fine.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2020 caused a spike in gambling issues on: August 25, 2021, 11:33:30 PM
As we know gambling addictions and all kind of addictions went up during the pandemic as people tried to find a way to cope with the stress of being on their homes, however it seems that the return of live sports is causing problems to some gamblers that have been struggling with addiction as a charity organization revealed the event caused a spike of 28% on the helpline calls they received during that time, this is problematic as those that developed the habit during the pandemic were very limited on the number of events they could bet on, but as restrictions are lifted the options increased and they have no way to deal with this.

What do you think would be the best option to those that are experimenting these issues right now? Should they stop watching sports forever as this is the trigger that causes them to gamble without control or should another solution be possible?

If most of these people had a heart on sports, I guess stopping them to watch their favorite sports is difficult.
The only possible solution is they should educate themselves about how gambling ruin every lives. Their family should act on this serious matter, because they had their own lives and they're responsible of their welfare.
Parents should act on this matter, guidance is very important specially the young people who've been so fanatic with sports.
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Price Prediction on: August 24, 2021, 11:56:25 PM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency prices have jumped today with ethereum rival cardano making a huge leap higher—even after Coinbase revealed an ethereum surprise last week.

The bitcoin price remains off the closely-watched $50,000 per bitcoin level but ethereum has climbed back over the $3,000 mark after dipping under it earlier today.

Now, as cardano and solana make double-digit gains and outpace other cryptocurrencies, famed investment strategist Lyn Alden has predicted bitcoin will hit $100,000 and ethereum will reach $5,000 as soon as next year.

Reference

These predictions have been said last few months ago, now the development has an amazing journey as $50k was touched already. For now, there's a little dump which also gives opportunity to somebody who's still eager to buy bitcoin and other potential alts.
For solano and cardano, I guess investors was started accumulating their assets for future rally that's why random increase accumulates well.
264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How weird is it to borrow money and invest into Bitcoin? on: August 24, 2021, 11:36:01 PM
That's too risky, I don't recommend borrowing money from lending firm or from banks, because you had no assurance if investment will go successfully.
(....)
+1, this is a crazy idea, this is like you borrow money just to gamble it. It's very risky even which angle you will see.
Famous sayings about investing especially in cryptocurrency are "invest what you afford to lose" which is exactly right, you borrowed money to invest in it, so it literally means you can't afford it to lose.

Our future is the most priority here, and having a crazy idea like this was only for irresponsible person who only think about present without having any visionary on their finances. Treating this investment as a gambling won't work 100% that's why everyone should learn something effective alternatives which can be used to purchase Bitcoin without any debts behind them.
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How weird is it to borrow money and invest into Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2021, 11:57:26 PM
That's too risky, I don't recommend borrowing money from lending firm or from banks, because you had no assurance if investment will go successfully. There are times bitcoin goes up and down, you can't be sure if price will take good gains and then your debts will going to increase and remains unpaid.
Better use your extra money for investments instead of taking a dangerous suicide from a money came from loans with amortization.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think financial stability is mandatory to be a gainer in Bitcoin invest? on: August 23, 2021, 11:17:31 PM
We often notice rich people become rich day by day. It's no different for Bitcoin as well. Because we can see the most benefited person from Bitcoin is big investors, mean definitely they are rich. If you agree with me then why do you think most big investors are gainers and why most small investors can't gain.

For me, I think financial stability works behind our success in life. So same goes for Bitcoin investors as well. The rich person could invest for a long time. He doesn't have problems even he doesn't sell his holding even during very bear markets. A financially stable person even could hold 10 years. But like us who are small investors, we aren't stabled financially. As a result, we don't when we have to sell our holding for need. That's how we become losers even we intend to hold for a long time. I am a real example of that recently.

Do you think financial stability is mandatory to be a gainer in Bitcoin investments?

Indeed we're losing for so many times, we can't even do buy and sell because we're afraid to risk our funds.
There's no such thing to be called mandatory, but stabilized funds is more advantageous compared from small buffer capital investors. If you're aiming for huge gains, don't use your existing funds but rather keep it accumulating in order to increase your asset capabilities for future gains.
267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading involvement on: August 22, 2021, 11:59:04 PM
I just want to share this. When I first learned about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, I also shared it to my friends and told to my family members about it but they didn't believe me and they thought that it was just a scam.

I started from participating in various campaigns even though I was not good at answering and making my own post. Eventually, after learning more here on the forum about investing and trading, I tried to make a day-to-day trade and so far it has been successful and my family knows I make money doing it.

It is always true that people are "to see is to believe" because now my family has also entered the crypto world through trading. More surprising because even my 4 year old child also knows the trading site and knows how to spot buying and selling which is proof that it is not hard to teach others about cryptocurrency as long as they believe on us.

We don't need to struggle teaching them, if they had a deeper interest on cryptocurrency they'll be reaping what they're sowing. If we're teaching a child or even older person that depends on how interested are they. Without courage and determination, I think involvement in trading won't work out sustainably.
268  Other / Archival / Re: Global Crypto Adoption Has Grown By 880% on: August 22, 2021, 11:38:12 PM
On that scenario, this will probably create a global attractions which could trigger different perspectives.
Other neighboring countries will soon understand how cryptocurrency is worth for everybody's lives, and the reasons why it became in demand globally.
269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things to know before trading. on: August 22, 2021, 11:15:58 PM
They're complaining to something that's nobody to be blame but our personal decisions. In trading we should be smart enough to take precautions specially in times of no assurance.
Before you're going to sell an asset, always consider the top gaining factors so you'll able to decide what's best to fit with your satisfaction.
Risk factors needs to be corrected before taking actions.
270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance TA - Switch to BTC soon? on: August 22, 2021, 10:56:27 PM
September could see Bitcoin dominance creeping out of the alt season zone.
Is it time to switch to BTC soon or wait for a bit more of an altcoin pump?

~snip~

I'm not switching yet, because I wasn't able to hold Bitcoin for several years due to expensive price. With regards to altcoin pump I do hope that it would certainly happen in the future. Many times I've been having efforts to grow my few holdings but still, the price didn't pump good.
The best ways to deal on it now was long term hold until such time price increase at profitable figures.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Podcast on: August 22, 2021, 10:10:41 PM
Hello folks, I’d be happy to get recommendations for podcast that interview problem gamblers, scholars, professionals in the field of treatment. Please this podcast must be one that is judgement free and maybe one that you have tried or someone you know has tried. Please share, you might just be helping someone out as well.

This is going to be interesting about podcasting not just with personal talks but also problems dealing with gambling addiction would be resolved through this technology. I am not like other people who discouraged using this type of idea, because we need to grow eventually. Using several tools to improve ourselves, is very important so podcast could be a good start.
272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why I'd prefer to be forex trader of my own on: August 21, 2021, 11:28:09 PM
Trading all alone can establish a good outcome rather that taking risk on different groups that gave advices. Mostly these people who handled this certain discussion was paid by huge exchanges who manipulates people and give promising advices that wouldn't coincide in real trading situation. Forex trading is a good start in order to familiarize what's all in this field. Crypto will just follow and all the skills will develop once, you undergo several challenges during crucial trades.
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things I wish I knew before starting my day trading journey on: August 21, 2021, 11:03:13 PM
All those you've mentioned here really made me frustrated on those day I failed many times, but I never gave up.
There's always a solutions in every failure, we only need to accept all bad sides in order to move on and start another journey.
Every struggles in trading involved a lot of challenges, so in order to achieve success don't limit yourselves on things that you're capable with. Day trading is risky, and I don't recommend this as your daily trading practice.
274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin @ $50k on: August 21, 2021, 10:34:16 PM
This was the most trending predictions now, we're closer to $50k already and I wish it wouldn't be too far from reality. Before that price will be meet, we will have to see fluctuations kept bouncing over.
Most probably it will happen this month of August, and after that let's wait another corrections is probably going to exist.
For those who doesn't have own btc yet, keep saving it so you won't lose this upcoming opportunities.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Operator of Helix Bitcoin ‘Mixer’ Pleads Guilty on: August 21, 2021, 09:07:14 PM

Money laundering is the root cause to what happened to the Operator of Helix btc mixer. There's a strong evidence to sue him, that's why he will be on jail after those people who became their prey will come out to file charges against him.
For those doing the same scheme like this and runs smoothly until now, they better watch out! Authority was just behind them and will soon capture criminals.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Gamble as a newbie on: August 21, 2021, 08:20:47 PM
I am a day old in this forum and am understanding some ways in which one can get rewarded and one of such is gambling, but again, one needs to understand the risk involved.

What are your guides from your personal experience of gambling?

There's a lot of ways to play gambling at your comfort zones, and based on my experience with several situations we've been played though our emotions.
Being too excited to win, was exactly the most reasons why a gambler tend to lose. All the good and negative sides will prevail, and as a newbie you should be aware that win and loss situation is always part of entertainment that you get from gambling.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: August 20, 2021, 11:59:09 PM
As for now, I considerably view bitcoin as safe haven for our asset while the development and progress went straight everytime it recovers from recent falls. We can't stop what has been predicted long time ago, Fud and other fomo has nothing to do with it even though they paid expensive articles just to fool people and have anxieties.
People now learned a lot from their frustrations and bad experiences and in reality they became more fearless nowadays.
278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: August 20, 2021, 11:23:32 PM
It is popular opinion sometimes that a trading strategy might no longer be effective if one begins to loose money while trading instead of gaining.

An important question i ask myself whenever i hear about people complaining or simply discussing a series of consecutive looses they have made while trading using a certain strategy is;

HOW MANY CONSECUTIVE LOOSES IN TRADING CAN YOU HANDLE BEFORE YOU ACCEPT THAT YOUR CURRENT TRADING STRATEGY IS BECOMING LESS EFFECTIVE?

Maybe in times of bearish market I certainly accept the fact that my trading strategies will be failure and ineffective. But this time of huge market potential while we observed that bitcoin keeps growing, I can handle losses with minimal percentage and consider things effective. No matter what happens on your trading, you still have chances while market activities kept changing everyday along with fluctuations.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 20, 2021, 10:11:05 PM
Next year, his time will be devoted to politics, so no time to train in boxing and if he wins, we know what to expect about his journey in boxing.

It's time for him to say goodbye, but not too early, lol... I have a feeling that even how popular he is in the Philippines, he would not win in the election and boxing fans would not allow that as they want him to continue fighting to bring glory to the country through boxing.

Who knows that this man will become successful on both boxing career and politics, and since his age is getting bigger I guess politics was the right haven for him to focus after this fight. Let's all respect what fate he had, as long as for the benefit of all countrymen despite with promises during election.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Basic Bitcoin skills on: August 20, 2021, 11:25:15 AM
my first post on this forum I decided to make it here since Bitcoin is what I want to concentrate on going forward, I discovered this site through a google search in my quest to get answers to some questions about Bitcoin. And am amazed at how rich in information this forum is I have found almost 50% answers within my short period on this forum all thanks to the members who have been here before me.
I have a very simple question on Bitcoin:
What are the principal technical skills a bitcoin lover needs to have if I want to buy a large amount of Bitcoin and hold it for long-term purposes?
You could learn and develop skills over holding bitcoin within a specific period of time, it can't be taken to a short timeline but we need to have patience you go through the learning process. Holding long term can be struggling specially when money is badly needed in times of emergency. Contingency plans should be a part of your long term goals so you'll able to cope up difficulties.
