261  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $5k? Tone Vays on: December 14, 2019, 02:01:44 PM
Hey, guys! Check this video where Tone Vays shares his opinion on future of Bitcoin's price. He considers that BTC will fall to $5k and will start growing just after that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qABFMlxnmFA
It's very likely that we'll see a big drop. In my opinion, if Bitcoin stays in the bear channel where it's been in for like the last 4 months, we should see a correction to $5,000 or $4,500 since it's such a psychological barrier. that's why people say the best advice is to sell before 2020, because some people will sell off at the bottom of these big drops and then have to buy back in when it recovers, costing them more money than if they just let it be. I even expected it to drop back down in the $3,000-$4,000 range again, but maybe some news will pushed it well above $5,000.
262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading. on: December 14, 2019, 01:41:50 PM
Some traders and investors think that when trading with crypto currency, one must be bold and confident and make quick decisions. Is excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading better than doubt and fear, or is it a big drawback?
In my opinion having confidence is good but having excessive confidence is not. The market is a great teacher. The dynamics of the market changes so quickly, and it teaches you or rather punishes you of your excessive confidence very quickly. may be that there is one thing which you do not know about your coin which market knows. that is why an intelligent investor always invest in a portfolio of coins, because even if you may have committed a few mistakes while you are picking some of your coins still you are safe because you can not be wrong with all your coins if you have done your homework properly.
263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: December 14, 2019, 01:20:36 PM
Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?
It depends on the type of job and the nature of the instruments you trade, but it is totally possible. Personally, during small breaks every hour or so I check my phone and surface but since I trade the 4H charts and up that means I really only check at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. GMT+2 roughly. If the situation didn't change and I can't place a trade I wait another 4 hours so it doesn't interfere too much with my work and they don't care too much as long as the work gets done.
264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: December 14, 2019, 01:11:40 PM
trading has been a difficult process for novices and minor traders. it could be tempting most times if you dont understand the market movement and TA. you might loose patience and cancel out a trade you might regret later. i have cancel out many trades that later ended up in huge profits. i have also cancel some successfully. i just curious to know if there is any sure way to this trading were by you hold on a trade.
It was hard for me to understand at first but I suggest creating a strategy and plan that allows you to know when you'll exit with profit or with loss before executing the trade. It does not matter how long your trade takes. time is arbitrary and you don't control the market. set up a trade and wait for it to either hit your take profit or stop loss. sometimes the move you expect takes 10 minutes sometimes it takes 10 days or 10 weeks. If you don't have patience you are going to have a bad time.
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: December 13, 2019, 03:48:13 PM
I got started by reading day trading books, joining chat rooms, taking courses, etc. It took a half years of practicing every day before I could break even. One of the most important things I've learned is knowing strategies and learning patterns gets you like 40% percent the way there. trading is all about getting a handle on your own psychology which takes a lot of practice. I can tell you the only real way to successfully trade is to trade differently than everyone else. It doesn’t have to be a major difference, but you need to find an edge that sets you a part from the other 90 plus percent of traders.
266  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CEX Vs DEX ? on: December 13, 2019, 03:34:55 PM
The main benefits using decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges over centralized ones are, there are no hidden middle man fee in decentralized system, you may have to pay miner fee but no hidden ones. also In decentralized cryptocurrency there is strict trading of cryptocurrency only, no involvement of credit card and other things. further less prone to hacking because namely it is decentralized and so no one is in control of it and there in no risk of point failure. these are some of the merit point I found decentralized cryptocurrency has over centralized ones.
267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie looking for some strategic advice on: December 13, 2019, 03:25:43 PM
There are many technical factors which do not necessarily carry a whole lot of information about the future of market. Chart shows historical prices, but historical prices are not an indicator of a future price. My best advice would be to think of some unique and clever factors which may carry some information about some near future direction of the market, especially for stock market. also when testing your factor, test on multiple portfolios with equally weighted number of stocks per portfolio.  remember that what performs well in bull market, may not perform well in bear market. so if you are putting together equally weighted portfolio strategy, consider doing a 50/50 long-short.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really still decentralized?? on: December 13, 2019, 02:03:01 PM
After the years in trading Bitcoin it came more and more clear to me that Bitcoin is technically not decentralized anymore... its mainly owned by huge mining farms or early adopters who are able to manipulate the market at will, many exchanges playing with Bitcoin and Altcoins by making fools out of the normal Joe who wants to enter the Crypto world, i know many here will think that you should be ready and get informed before taking any step into the crypto world, but does it not bother anyone that some people are enriching them self by kicking the crap out of your wallets??
Bitcoin Mining is dead unless you own a mining farm with the necessary hashrate, again only big companies having access to Bitcoin!!!
What is your thought about this??
It depends if you want decentralization at an individual level or organization level. I think Bitcoin should be decentralized at the individual level. Any regular individual should be able to run a full node. and monitor remotely, without anyone's permission and without big hurdles. Same with mining. further, it's decentralized in distribution. whales can still affect the price but the point is there is no central issuance of the currency and no central point of failure and no single entity can decide to control the supply, and if they do we can just make a new currency and ignore the bureaucratic Keynesian bullshit currency. that's what decentralized and permission less.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum goes to the top! on: December 12, 2019, 05:32:34 PM
Ethereum is still one of the most reliable altcoins and can move without being influenced by other coins. but to compare with bitcoin is certainly very different to analyze it, after all bitcoin is still the king of crypto. but even though the ethereum value is very ordinary, it has at its peak precisely when bitcoin is down. so ethereum is still very reliable compared to other altcoins, but to be able to replace bitcoin is still very difficult.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are two cryptocurrencies different by nature, functions, and supply. Bitcoin is an independent cryptocurrency and a good store of value. it has a limited supply. there is no leader behind bitcoin, and it’s difficult to come to a consensus. Ethereum has a several-fold larger supply. It has a good team of developers that makes ethereum less decentralized, and improvements are implemented constantly. further, as far as I know, bitcoin can do smart contracts as well. I think in terms of price per coin it’s unlikely to happen because Ethereum was never intended for it. But in the crypto world, everything is possible. i wouldn’t choose between bitcoin and ethereum but invest in both instead.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: December 12, 2019, 05:10:50 PM
I think Ethereum is one of the most promising crypto in the market and I expect it to be higher than 1000 USD simply because of the possibility to store ether in the staking contract for the beacon chain and the nearing release of the beacon chain in 2020. for those who are even aware of ETH or will become aware of ETH in the next months, the race to accumulate 32 ETH will become palpable. I think we will see a run up in ETH price beginning around January and extending into March of 2020. then probably another period of consolidation before the BIG run up when the issuance rate gets cut by 20 times, and Serenity starts to take full shape.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the future of Altcoin on: December 12, 2019, 04:46:13 PM
I realy want to buy altcoin which coin can i buy to hold and make big project in future any idea tell me best profit coin to buy thanks.
There are still people that want to get rich quick on Crypto. they look for the next bitcoin, the next 2000x increase coin. Lots of these people got scammed and lots all their investments. It has been almost 10 years and there's over 4000 alts out there who had tried to take bitcoin's crypto domination and they all currently failed. I think the longer bitcoin is on top and the more altcoins out there, the stronger bitcoin grows. And crypto and blockchain will always be in the shadow of bitcoin as a pioneer that can not be taken away by any altcoin. In the end altcoins are just a way to get more bitcoins, hence forget altcoins.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else notice that when share market down, crypto price goes up? on: December 12, 2019, 04:25:37 PM
I have been in the cryptocurrency market for almost two months, I observed that when the market fell, the percentage of BTC always increased. The current percentage of BTC has accounted for more than half of the market. What does this mean? Can anyone give me an explanation, and why is BTC? not another Coin? Because in my opinion, BTC is affected by market volatility more than the Altcoin!

Bitcoin is objectively more secure than any Altcoins. as far as price stability goes that's anyones guess; but Bitcoin blows everything out of the water when it comes to security and decentralization. Bitcoin has the most developers working on new projects, hashing power, and it's actually accepted as payment at several places. no other coin can replace or compete with it. thereby, I only own bitcoin If any altcoins fails, bitcoin will still hold value, but if bitcoin fails which I don't see happening, all the cryptocurrencies will fail. but I see all cryptocurrencies besides bitcoin as being more vulnerable and risky than bitcoin.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: December 11, 2019, 05:03:26 PM
In recent time cryptocurrency is not in a good shape. Many peoples are losing their money because of fraud but bitcoin is in a good shape and I hope in the year of 2020 bitcoin price will rise more.So it is the high time to invest bitcoin.
I have to agree. get 1 BitCoin and wait for the bulls. when the bitcoin bulls run, all the altcoins will drop, then buy some favorite altcoins you think will run after BTC finishes it's head start. thereby diversifying your portfolio, but more percent in bitcoin. with that said, it is overall best to go with BTC as it is slow but steady in it's overall rise in price. further, BTC is the only proven resilient cryptocurrency to date no other has yet to truly prove itself from all attacks, while Ethereum is the only proven fungible cryptocurrency to date but is inflationary unlike the deflationary BTC.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will There Really Be An Altcoin Season or Just a plot to Keep us in the Loop on: December 11, 2019, 03:37:54 PM
There is no altcoin season anymore. Literally no Alts is being used for it's use case. None. they are all fully speculative. there are the smart contract platforms, like ethereum. I think they are worth an investment, the use cases are enough, but in the long run, much of their functionality could be incorporated in to bitcoin or on top of bitcoin. however, You probably shouldn't be fully into a single coin. Bitcoin is great, but you probably want to diversify into some other coins as well to be safe. We don't know the future. I'm about %85 in BTC, %10 ETH and the rest in other top altcoins.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How about investing into altcoins? on: December 11, 2019, 03:16:17 PM
I think Altcoins are going to zero and bitcoin's price performance of the past couple months have given people hope, but another crash in altcoins market is coming. I only believe in Bitcoin. It means I believe the most well known, oldest, safest, most trusted coin with the most volume will eat everything because of network effects. It attracts the best talent, the most business, the most users, etc. making it stronger with every day comparatively to other coins. I believe in what Bitcoin stands for, and is a gift for all of us. however, I hold a little bit of a few alts, but won't buy anymore of them.
276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: December 10, 2019, 05:59:13 PM
In my opinion, Trading is all about your own discipline and how you manage your emotions. most traders suck at managing their emotions. Therefore, read psychology books and learn to manage your fear and greed, balance your life and trade only with money you can afford to lose. the only time you'll really ever start to make money in the market is when you stop giving a shit about making money and just start following a consistent pattern of buying and selling, whatever pattern that happens to be. thereby, forget trying to find a secret strategy. build your own and do what you're comfortable with.
277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good advice for every traders. on: December 10, 2019, 05:49:06 PM
From my experience, before you get into a trade, know your targets and stop loss price. Know going into the trade what percent of your capital you stand to gain or lose depending on which way it goes. be fully comfortable with either outcome and the associated gain or loss before placing your order. also Don't risk too much on any one trade. If you are a good trader, give yourself and your capital time to prove it. If you are over-leveraged a few bad trades in a row can crush you even if you are making good trades 50 percent of the time. be steady and consistent with your risk management.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which wallet is best to for ERC20 tokens? on: December 10, 2019, 05:42:25 PM
It is good if it is web based, i.e. similar to blockchain.com. Otherwise, installation makes it machine dependent. Its not a BIG sum. So, high security is not a priority. Ease of use is what I am looking for. Needs to work with all kind of ERC20.
There are a lot of scammers who are trying to crack wallets and steal your money. therefore, the security of the wallet should be in the first place. It's also worth remembering that you should not store your passwords online, it's better to store it on a offline computer, or even better in your head. I highly recommend MyEthereumWallet. download MEW from their Github, burn it to a disk along with a bootable live version of any OS and a portable browser then boot up any computer that's not connected to a network with that disk. then generate a wallet, write down your private key on a piece of paper by hand.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 19k again before 2022? (poll inside) on: December 10, 2019, 05:12:59 PM
I find it very difficult to predict future bitcoin prices, but still there's a high probability that bitcoin surpass it's ATH again, especially, in Long-term. to reach a new ATH Bitcoin just needs to grow 3 times current price and it's not very difficult. what I am sure about, is that bitcoin as a store of value, will continue to attract new investors and capital in 2020-2021. This means that in the long run, bitcoin will grow several orders of magnitude over the 2017 ATH. Even many financial experts are bullish when it comes to this long term. they speak of price predictions in the range between $100,000 and $1 million within the next couple of decades.
280  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin could be 6000$ soon give us your opinion on: December 10, 2019, 04:42:42 PM
I think weekly time frame shows a a current neutral very short term. however the 21 weekly EMA very time it crosses below the 10 weekly simple moving average, the market responds with a %60–%70 price decline to $4,500. plus the Fibonacci retracement level 78.6% of the 2017 bull-run lands nearly on $4,500. further, trades on the daily time frame, as long as the price remains well below $7,900 short the fakeouts. the next bearish objective for sellers is $6,900. a bearish break of this support would revive the bearish momentum. the sellers could then target the support located at $5,800.
