Guten Abend,
ich habe irgendwie Probleme mit dem Chatbot. Ich bekomme keine Antwort mehr auf bspw. "Balance". Es werden nur meine Eingaben wiederholt? Bytes aus dem letzten Airdrop habe ich aber bekommen. Nur noch keine Blackbytes? System ist Linux Ubuntu 16.4 , Byteball Version 1.5.1
Meinst du den Transition bot? Der ist nach dem AirDrop immer erstmal deaktiviert. BB kommen später. |

@suky321: Daily SN payout is between 380 and 450 the last weeks, not 500. There are 140.000 xem distributed every Day.
@nzminer: IOTA is claiming to be quantum proof.

I wonder if one day they will lower the amount of XEM you need to run a supernode,3 million is super expensive now, i think for purposes of decentralization... they gotta do it.
Has been discussed before. I don't think it will happen. Increasing the number of supernodes would reduce profitability It will reduce profitability but will it not strengthen the network even more? Yes I expect so. The Network is quite good secured now with the running ~350 - 400 SNs. If the value of xem rises significantly, it implies the network is used more altogether, therefor there will be more transactions and more fees. With more transaction fees it will be possible to maintain a normal Node and earn enough on fees. That's the Target, SNs won't be needed then anymore. |

Two stage solution would make sense. First rudimentary network, then SN-network. Gives lots of room for testing and process of thought.
I completely agree...and I would prefer if we took this approach as well. However, last I heard from EK, he still wanted to move forward with the SN approach for the initial release. Well, for weeks now we have moved towards the SN approach. I mean, sure, we can stick to the rudimentary network for the start. But imho this will be more complex than going the last remaining meters towards the SN approach. Why? Because then we have to put a lot of work in getting the Java ElasticPL interpreter and the xel miner's C based interpreter in sync. I do not want to decide anything, I am just saying that getting the SN ready is the quicker solution. If you feel comfortable with going straight to SNs i think go for it. Just wanted to bring up this option in case rudimentary network would be an easy thing to do. Take all the time needed to get a good Solution. |

Hallo Byteball Fans, so ich habe mir die Wallet auch einmal geholt und werde jetzt mal ein wenig testen und sehen ob ich ein paar Byteballs zum testen bekomme  Für die Wallet Sicherung muss ich mir die Wallet Seed aufschreiben? Genügt das? mfg Nein, der Seed allein genügt nicht. Das aktuelle Wallet hat aber eine integrierte BackUp Funktion. |

Ich hänge mich mit Slackwissen und Gerüchte etwas aus dem Fenster. Soviel ich weiß kannst du später die Blackbytes in der Wallet in Bytes tauschen. (Inwalletexchange)
Dann verliert die Währung aber ein wesentliches Attribut, ihre Anonymität, oder? Nein eher nicht, du kannst ja die Blackbytes schon heute normal verschicken. Die Eingangsfrage war: Nehmen wir an, ein Artikel-Sortiment soll via mail-order an eine breite, internationale, anonyme Kundschaft gegen Blackbytes verkauft werden.
Wie sähe da ein funktioneller/effizienter Ablauf aus?
Wie ich das verstanden habe kann man Blackbytes nur und ausschliesslich über die Byteball-Chat-Funktion "verschicken". Funktionell, aus Sicht eines Merchant erscheint mir das nicht, und im Vergleich mit Bitcoin auch nicht "normal". Deshalb meine Frage, ob es in der weiteren Entwicklung eine kurzfristige Perspektive gibt welche dieses Problem löst. Es geht mir gezielt um die (anonymen) Blackbytes. "Bytes" interessieren mich nicht. Aber wo ist Dein Problem mit der Chat Funktion? Diese Chats lassen sich ja mit Bots recht einfach automatisieren. Und ob ich jetzt eine Adresse in einen Client kopier oder direkt in einem Chat eine Transaktion auslöse ist mir persönlich egal. Falls Du wirklich einfach diese Chat Funktion nicht magst, kann ein Entwickler da bestimmt auch eine GUI drüberlegen mit der Du dann interagieren kannst. Edit: Was ist an DAG und Byteball oder generell Crypto "normal"? Bitcoin war auch nicht "normal" als es rauskam. |

Das erinnert mich sehr an die Anfangstage der nxtAE. Da gab und gibt es auch immer wieder falsche Assets. Deshalb wurde dort die assetsuche irgendwann deaktiviert und man konnte Assets nur noch über die Asset ID honzufügen. Das ist eben auch eins der Probleme einer Börse bei der jeder Assets herausgeben kann. Das Problem sollte Eliphaz tatsächlich von Nxt bekannt sein. Allerdings muss man direkt nach dem Start eines neuen Coins / Börse auch erst mal etwas vorsichtig sein.
