What I saw is people like to make a post of their own and enjoy other people commenting on it. I might think some people know and read pin posts but still, post about the same thing. Is that an addiction of people to get people's attention or I do not know what I should call it?
I am not saying it is a bad practice because some quality comments came out from a repost topic that might have never happened in the old post of that same topic.
This is the most common attempt to achieve merit. They're hoping that someone will just give them the merit while in a good mood, as they did with the OP, and also that those who create new threads always get merit more often. This also worked great for a while. At the same time, newbies most often plagiarize when trying to attract attention to themselves. Then fly out of the forum, and maybe already on the 4th or 5th attempt to create an account, they become more accurate and carefully try to "survive" on the forum by creating one post per day in the local thread. In this case with the OP, I see it that way.

Rather, this topic is more appropriate for beginners who, when losing, begin to call bitcoin a bubble or fraud, not having received their profit in the bear market. But yes, history repeats itself, and not just with Bitcoin. Everything in this world is cyclical, from fashion to wars. All this has happened before. The most important thing in this cycle is to remember how all seemingly new but, according to historical data, old events end. With bitcoin, this is always a victory, and with big pluses.

I’m curious on your thoughts and opinions on how much bitcoin and/or fiat currency would be considered safe to hold in a bear market
The bear market is for bitcoin, not bitcoin and fiat together, fiat currencies experience inflation, which has always been a problem for fiat holders. 100% of your money is safe in bitcoin in any market, bull or bear, if you the owner keeps it safe, you asked if it is safe, so that is the answer, bitcoin will not dump until it is no more, like altcoins do, the winter period may not be a good time for bitcoin holders, but the fall is only transient and the price will correct in the long run. Despite the fact that your money is 100% safe in bitcoin, you should not invest 100% of your money in it, that is investing more than you can afford to lose, choose an amount that suits you, one that wouldn't need you to go back to your portfolio to withdraw out of it because you are now broke in real life and need some money. But as for the safety of your money, if you don't make any errors, it is certain. Are you serious? One hundred percent, no more, no less? Does it happen? For me, this is a utopia about Bitcoin. What about contingencies? And yes, it all depends on the country you live in. I would rather hold a smaller amount of bitcoin than I have in fiat; more to say, I am someone who lost a sufficient amount while hoping that bitcoin would rise soon. Therefore, bitcoin is good, but I would prefer to invest in it only because, as it has often sounded, it is not a pity to lose. As long as the situation with the economy and wars develops in a negative stream of news, I do not think that we should hope for any big growth. Does anyone see an end to the bad news?

If that's the case then why do people raise concern when they noticed that a user changed his/her email? If nobody cares, then account selling will continue on a steady basis.
Accounts sales continue. Now, many telegram channels sell accounts from the forum. The condition for the sale of which is not to change the password. Here is an example of one purchased account. There is a rule that is not to change the password after buying an account. I'm complying so this account isn't locked.
If someone wants to sell their account, they will sell it anyway, having thought through the process of buying and selling, everything can be done discreetly. But all the same, the purchased accounts are calculated according to other factors, which in the end still play against the buyer.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of articles like the one the OP referred to on the Internet. And from here we see so many disillusioned people who invested their money in the hope of becoming millionaires. I like this remark. Giving advice on how to become a crypto millionaire can only be given by a person who has personally achieved this result, overcome all difficulties and knows the true value of his advice. Otherwise, the advice is of no practical value and is more likely to be harmful to beginners in particular.
The advice can only be given by those who have been successful. There are so many motivational articles and projects that promise quick profits, but where are they all today? Anyone who writes like this just makes money on traffic. I would like to ask the OP: What is the purpose of this post? Can you tell us about your successes with alternative coins? Have you become rich? It's easy to copy and paste other people's articles, but personal experience always speaks the most.

I'm tring to contact him since a month but don't know why he's ignoring me.. He shouldn't do this if he is not at fault. Even tagging him here won't work. Maybe he is intentionally ignoring this thread.
Your account woke up a few days ago, what month are you talking about? In addition, you can claim all accounts that have some pause in activity and accuse them of having stolen your account due to your own carelessness. Why joeperry? There are cooler accounts. Do not be shy.

It is the fact that young people are interested in bitcoin that gives hope for the future of bitcoin. I salute all the people living in Nigeria who do not give up on their life's difficulties and are interested in new technologies. I know that finding a job for a young person who is just starting to provide for himself is quite difficult. And I see here on the forum people from Nigeria who are studying or helping to educate their peers, and everyone in their country, about investing in bitcoin. If the government cannot provide people with an acceptable lifestyle, then who will fight for a better life? Of course, young people I fully support this. Let bitcoin be a reliable assistant to such people and bring them a normal existence in the future without all sorts of barriers.

Overall, there's really no reason to go to war. In simple terms, war is bad and has to be avoided. If all the energy and money and other resources spent on wars would instead be focused on something else, the world condition would be a lot better.
Especially in the age of globalization, wars would really cause a lot of damage. Russia's invasion attempt of Ukraine gives us an idea of how limited violence could produce global effects.
I fully support your words. All the finances spent on maintaining wars could be directed in a peaceful direction, to help poor countries that barely survive from hunger and lack of water. But none of the wars starts from scratch; it is always beneficial to those who pump millions into weapons production. And the actions of rulers who can influence the world with diplomatic relations between countries are always correct. But unfortunately, in our time, there are no such rulers who could act for the people, not for the country's prestige.

My applause, OP. You have made yourself an unforgettable gift for your birthday. It is very nice to know that there are altruists like you in the world who donate their time to children for free. Nowadays, when the world counts every second, you take time off from work in order to educate children about Bitcoin for free. I really hope that you were able to interest them. But I want to believe that your lessons will not end with an hour and a half of lectures. Children are quickly distracted, and if their interest is not maintained, one lesson will remain one that can be forgotten. I sincerely wish that the younger generation starts looking to the future with the confidence that they can achieve the best in their lives, and thank you, OP, for taking such kind steps. Happy birthday!

I've seen actmyname have a lot of neutral tags for the same reason, so why do you just think JollyGood does it and leaves you so paranoid about getting hurt in the future?
I think the OP rightly cares about the future. He's already told you about it. After looking at JollyGood's account, one can really understand that this guy is very harsh with his tags. I actually care because I might be a victim some other day hence I don't know JollyGood or heard anything about him. I also stated clearly in my post what prompted me to check his profile.
The next step JollyGood can take is to change the tag from neutral to negative. After all, you yourself showed an example of how, over time, he changed his assessment. I don't think Jolly will follow them, but there is a warning, and it is advisable not to catch his eye, no matter how funny it is said.

I've been noticing this particular aspect in this forum since I joined in February of this year. Many legendary members do not receive more merits than lower rank members, in my opinion.
There was one interesting topic, here on the meta. Here Is One Reason Why Legendary Members Get So Many MeritsShe completely refutes what you said. I think you will change your mind about legendary accounts getting less merit. Also, take note that beginners who are just trying to get on their feet don't always pretend to be who they are. A lot of "manuals" created by beginners are subsequently challenged by more senior ranks. What does it say? Don't try to be cooler than you are. I see that legends get merits easily; they are natural. In addition, it is possible that they do not go in cycles for merits; the latter comes to them easily. If you just live on the forum and slowly increase your rank, it will come to you as quickly as possible. "Any action gives rise to a reaction." Just let go of your observation of who and how many merits are received.

The reference link is incorrect. It leads simply to the topic, and no one can verify its authenticity. Perhaps you, Jollygood, need to add a link from the archives if you really want to. OP, the neutral tag doesn't mean anything; actmyname does exactly the same, but it's much clearer and has a blacklist. Maybe you, Jollygood, should do something similar. And people would have fewer questions. Also, just reporting the post to the moderators and letting them judge the correctness of the post could also solve the problems with another impending drama.

I could imagine how long it took you to compile all the list of questions asked by newbies.
Didn't you see the link the OP provided in his post? https://www.cashay.com/74-bitcoin-questions-answered-202033293-142831992.htmlHow long can it take to copy and paste on a forum? I don't think it will take very long. It was enough to describe all this in a nutshell, to refer to the original author from 2017, this would further reduce the OP in time.

It's no secret that buying accounts will be of interest either to scammers or bounty hunters who are going to participate in signature companies. I agree with you that the rules should be more specific. Either you can buy it or you can't. But in the rules, we see there is a small note that this is not welcome, so the one who bought should be prepared for any outcome in the future. I know purchased accounts are tagged on a case-by-case basis, although buying and impersonating someone else is a sign of fraud. And such accounts need to have a negative tag by default. This has been brought up many times, but until now the rules remain as they were at the beginning, so OP, you have made fair comments, but they will not change anything.

That's never going to work in Linux because the virus has a 95% or larger chance of failing when it attempts to load itself due to the highly volatile nature of Linux kernel modules and the libraries responsible for input (ahem... X Window System). Thanks, I didn't know that. Interesting. I never check my mail. And there are a lot of people like me who have email but do not use it. I wonder what the scammers are counting on? How would they warn people who don't read emails? They want to get a good amount of bitcoins, I would even agree to give them my phone if they gave me that much. I have Linux, and I just won't pay attention to such idiots. I'm surprised that there are people who fall for this bait. Just pass by.

For some beginners, it will be a good sign if they are only deceived by scammers once. This is a fantastic experience and practice that is more valuable than theory. We talk daily on the forum about the dangers of the Internet, about scammers, and in particular about the need to carefully double-check everything before investing your money in any project. But it has been repeatedly observed that if a person once encounters scammers, it leaves a good scar and constantly reminds him that he should no longer be so gullible. In addition, if a person does return to crypto after cheating, this also indicates that he has serious intentions and will not back down from learning.

I don't think we should force everyone to be patient. Sometimes people's circumstances play against them. If they are willing to sell at a loss, that is their right. I would not call such people fools, or, as the OP writes, mentally retarded. Everyone has personal freedom. If they want to change to fiat, let them do it. I always support the policy of living life to the fullest in the here and now. You need to be able to hold Bitcoin to a good price, but you should not infringe on your desires today. A situation may arise when all big money will no longer be as joyful one day as what is needed now.
