We should not compare bitcoin with VISA (or Mastercard) because they are two different things.... However it is really interesting to see that 'someone' is spending 6-7 k dollars (in btc) per day to make this thing.
Like i stated days ago, it's quite possible that this is an orchestrated attack, and not "stress test" , and it's being done by same people that are pumping litecoin beyond any reason. The idea is probably to make bitcoin as slow as it can get with all the spam, to promote litecoin's faster block time, and it's immunity to this current attack. They are spending money, but they will make it worth their while in the upcoming dump, which will probably happen at the same time when they stop spamming the blockchain. @op, bitcoin as it is today, couldn't process 1% of global adoption,and if situations like this one continue to happen, there is no future for bitcoin, that's for sure. cheers I'd like to see Litecoin banned completely off this forum. Litecoin is like other altcoin and has it sector (sub-forum) here. So no need LiteCoin to be banned |

This attack show us one something interesting - Bitcoin is becoming next big invention. We are in the second phase of bitcoin history.
1st phase is when they ignore you and laugh at you; 2nd phase is when they try to fight with you. Bitcoin is needle in the eye of big financial world.
I would assume that attack is not stress test but the part of anti bitcoin campaign to show people that bitcoin can't be trusted.
Yes this would make new people that want to join/use bitcoin to make them feeling confused and think that bitcoin isnt secure. |

Escrow: Never do any trade without having an escrow, I got scammed once and so advising you to strictly follow this rule...

Price is not stable as much, but i am a bit surprised about this pump. a huge step for me at least  Current price: 286.36$ You must be knowing about Greece's situation, don't you? I am afraid too, the bitcoin price is going up and down changing its value quickly. But no i dont think it will be 0 usd lol. it will have value i agree with you...it will not going to zero..bitcoin will always have value as long as there are a demans of market...but still i am afraid hehe When i see that everyday i see new coins, and has value that i would never think so bitcoin has future |
