2601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 18, 2022, 05:20:54 PM

now, I have a question, do you think the man is entirely at fault or someone should also be responsible?

Sounds like he knew something was wrong, because why did he make the same size withdrawals and gambled it all away in a few weeks? If he is addicted to gambling and has no more control over his finances than it's understandable, otherwise I think it's wrong. If I would ever get a large bank transfer by mistake I would never think about starting to gamble with it heavily. Even if the law wouldn't be clear on that and there could be a chance that I can keep the money. What if the money was send by mistake by some criminals and they find out my name and adress? I am sure they wouldn't be so understanding and accept an apology. And what if the judge orders him to repay all the money, including the one he has lost? It could ruin him financially forever.

If you are someone who doesn't really like to get involved with some possible risk of getting yourself fucked up on the future then it's just sensible that you shouldn't spend the money which aren't yours so that you won't really be having problems later on because even if you do put up into your mind that it isn't your fault but still you would really be finding yourself in big trouble on spending money or funds which aren yours.

You aren't that dumb that it wasn't wrong in the first place because who would be the one on expecting to get big cash or funds directly into his account without any possible source?
2602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when the market is downtrend? on: June 15, 2022, 11:51:32 PM
How do I feel OP?
At first, I was been like in doom see my wallet lower its value. It is certainly a little bit hard to accept that thing but
somehow, we need to do it as we can't do anything about it aside from accepting the reality. Of course, I'd never sell my coins, but I do hold coz I believe that this situation will be getting over soon.

Despite this unpredictable change, I realized that it was really a need for everyone to be prepared. Putting money in crypto has no assurance and if we let our emotions decide for us, it certainly will bring us losses.
There's no assurance thats why its really that always recommended that you shouldnt make yourself to be that hopeful on becoming rich or generate huge profits or income in crypto space.

Well, we are just humans and its normal that we do have that kind of intent but always manage out good risk management because nothing is assured into this market.

Whether you could earn much or would lose much thats why earning and investing on the money which you can afford to lose will always be the key.
2603  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: June 15, 2022, 09:09:13 PM
Campaign that has their pay in USD, their participants will benefits more in this bear market  where Bitcoin had fallen to $22K within the period of 3 days now. It will be a hard time to those campaign participants that are paid in Bitcoin rate. The worth of the Bitcoin in US dollar will fall drastically because of the current price of Bitcoin. It will mostly affect escrowed payment in Bitcoin and the campaign manager will have a tough time where distributing payment.

Managers would just simply request if ever the team had give out the overall payment or budget and its up to the team whether they would compensate or would simply stop the campaign.
Most of the campaigns that we do have today do always vary in USD value which means even if drops then the amount of bitcoins or altcoins would simply adjust which means on a dumping
market then the coins would be earned would be more.

So i dont see any difference or for people who do join up campaign to be worried unless if their campaign do pay satoshi/post then it would really
be a great effect into this current market condition.
2604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 15, 2022, 07:16:00 PM
just as the title states, a man in Japan mistakenly sent 46.3m yen to his bank account which was supposed to be shared among 436 people in their town. the article says that the man gambled away the money by withdrawing 600k yen daily for two weeks and gambles it in online casinos and when the authority finally contacted him the money has already been gambled and gone. initially the man refuse to pay back the money that was mistakenly sent to him but after some time he decided to pay it back bit by bit. the town is also suing him for this incident.

you can read the full story here
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-61490436

now, I have a question, do you think the man is entirely at fault or someone should also be responsible?

Maybe he do that action in purpose because if he is clean he will not touch that amount which he didn't own and maybe he just say that he gamble all of the  money just to cover up some amount he hide it for his self. I don't know if there's a law break by him in this case but I think for the action he do, he will not go to jail for this because he just enjoy the money he think a blessing came from nowhere.
I do believe that he would really be held accountable on spending those funds that isnt his on which if ever accidents do happen then its just ethical that you would really be giving back those amounts

since its not yours and its really just common sense that you would really be not spending those. If he did such thing then it was intentional.Yes, the sender does have the mistake but
dont try to take advantage of such manner because you would  really be putting yourself in trouble even if you do say that its their fault on sending the funds into your account.
2605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to avoid crippling losses when trading? on: June 15, 2022, 05:59:41 PM
Thanks for this idea mate.
Well, trying to create your own strategy is way better to follow others. As we gain more experience in rea trading the close possible to having our idea of how to make one. Yet, we need to verify the effectiveness of this strategy to prove that it really works.

However, trading is not all about strategies, it certainly needs dedication and a sort of market goal/plan.

If someone is new in trading, there's no hard to try to copy other people way of strategy, sooner or later he will have his own idea. But he needs to be sure that since he is new, he need to trade with small amounts first before going to trade huge numbers. And like what I always said, they need to know that it is not always winning in trading, so he needs to prepare for losses.
For some reason, copy trading is helpful while we are still on the path of knowing trading but this can't be long-term. We indeed value those things that we had learn from others but it was also our responsibility to care for our future and that is not to only just rely on others. Instead, we have to push ourselves to the limit and improve our knowledge and skill in order to make better in this way we can prove that we can manage the stress and losses that we possibly face in trading. Yes, it is to understand that not all the time the market will give us a favor, sometimes we got wrong and lose.
Copy trading it isnt bad but majority of people or noobs who do end up on relying on them on the end which they do believe that they could do this all day and on the time that
following is over then making your own decisions would really be the hardest part thats why its sensible that you should really be knowing to trade on your own and make out decisions on point
and not really relying on other people when it comes to various decisions.
2606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 14, 2022, 10:15:24 PM
Warriors won the game last night without Curry having a monster game. 0/9 on shooting 3 pointers and only 16 points. Now they lead 3-2 and will likely close out the series in game 6. Boston played well through 4 games but they just don't have what it takes.
It was Wiggins this time, and Klay also has something to do with the big win. And what's funny is that aside from the poor shooting from Curry, they lost the 3rd quarter.

But then, they took the 4th with a huge run that Boston don't know what to do because they don't have the experience. And yes, it looks like the Warriors are going to close out the series in game 6. It will be game 6 Klay time.
You could really able to differentiate a team which does have finals experience but we cant underestimate them yet they wont reach out into that position if they arent that capable.
It is really just happened that they do up against on a team which is strong but we cant make out some conclusions yet since this one isnt over year.
We do still have game 6 which is the decider whether it would be tie up or totally be close up.
2607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: June 14, 2022, 09:40:07 PM
From the outset, cryptocurrencies have been seen as riskier investments than other financial markets, not just risky altcoins. Bitcoin-only cryptocurrencies are considered the safest investments and the rest of the cryptocurrencies are riskier. The way to limit risk when investing in altcoins is to choose top altcoins and DYOR before investing.
I always laughed at that idea, like crypto is somehow more riskier than stocks or gold or fiat? I mean it is quite clear to me that other investments are a lot more riskier than crypto because when you hold bitcoin that means you are going to beat inflation and get richer most of the time, sure sometimes you need to wait for it but at the end of the day you are not going to end up doing anything that will be profitable for you if you invest into others like stock markets and sometimes the returns are silly. Sure crypto is more risky if you end up investing into something idiotic, but if you do not pick coins like that then there won't be a problem.
most people that says that are those kind of people that already Lose their funds inside crypto because of sometimes greediness or most of the times being NOOB.
They don't truly understand the market and all they knew is to Buy and sell and not when or what.
i am not giving them my concern as I try explaining this to the people around me that shows interest in crypto.
all i share is that never expect too much and never rush the profiting because this will lead to more losing if wanted an easy money .
Never rush yourself on earning money or making profitable trades or investment because that not how it works because once reality do able to face up then you would realize that this isnt something

sticking with that buy low sell high kind of thingy which you do really believe that it was really just too easy to be done but once you do put your foot into the market and once you do realize it for yourself
then you would be finding it to be tough and challengin. Now that the market is on a great decline then this is where emotions do get involved on where you would need to decide
neither you would buy or wait up even further.
2608  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: June 14, 2022, 08:40:27 PM
In fact, any crisis widens the gap between the poor and the rich. COVID is one of the options, nothing more. Question about covid - tell me, how is the situation with covid in your country? What is the question. At the end of last year, and in January of this year, we in Ukraine had another "outbreak" of a new strain. Again, the whole country was vaccinated, someone refused, someone got sick, someone died. In a word - everything is like everyone else. But at the end of February, there was another round of Russian aggression, bombing and shelling of cities, many people in bomb shelters, hospitals, malnourished, stress, bad conditions ... In theory, ideal conditions for spread. But you know what? And they forgot about the virus! No mass diseases, no high deaths from COVID, no overcrowded hospitals... How is the situation in your countries with COVID?
Turns out to be fake? No its not because people almost on certain countries are vaccinated and on times like this where people are really that close to exposure then high chance of infection but we arent

seeing this one but instead its like there's nothing happening but to consider that each people now are really that on habit on wearing face mask which turns out to be default or casual thing.

In pandemic like this then much sure that there are rich fellas who do gain benefit on certain area but lets not generalize because there are ones who had been badly impacted.
2609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 13, 2022, 11:14:35 PM
It is difficult winning at gambling because of how the structure has been set where the odds of winning is highly in favour of the bookmakers. Contrary to the opinion that some unenlightened gamblers may hold that it is a fifty fifty chance (50/50), it is more of a ninety ten (90/10) situation. This is why winning is mostly attributed to luck for some.
Bookmakers/Casino House - these people/team are the ones who do make out profits in long term with so much losses out of their bettors or players and just like been said
above that this is a long time running profitable business and a big industry which is understandable that it is something that putting their players on disadvantage.

Winning or minding about it will really just push you to play even more thats why gambling is just for entertainment nothingless but people do really love
to go further into certain extent.
2610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you ready to buy/sell for bitcoins now? on: June 13, 2022, 10:26:06 PM
For now, i use bitcoin to purchase some digital stuff online. Maybe because i live in a country where cryptocurrencies are not yet legalized.
However, i may not use it to buy expensive things unless i cash it out for a certain period of time before decide to buy.
If ever i do see some chance on spending my coins directly on buying something and if its locally available or something that i could meet up with then it would really be heading for that option

but same as yours on where crypto isnt legalized yet but there are merchants and services which is already accepting crypto payments which is good but i do usually
not tend to make use of it because it is really just a waste of opportunity.

If i dont have any choice or option then i might came up with this method but as much as possible i do lessen out such s pending.
2611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Huge Down from ATHs. what will happen the next ? on: June 13, 2022, 09:26:33 PM

Cryptocurrency is now in a big crashing. And whole crypto marketcap now under $1Trillion. What will the next? and How long do you think it will take for the market to recover?
A question which is something that cant really be answered by anyone on this market because this would be a never ending kind of scenario on this unpredictable market where everything could really crash.

Expect the unexpected and this should really be in your mind whenever you do make yourself get involved with crypto space and come to think that even traditional markets are experiencing such declines.

So there's no exception to this one but rather instead of panicking out then it would be nice if you would seeing these chances for you to get cheaper coins.
2612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 13, 2022, 08:28:46 PM
I believe that this one will be the big decider. Everyone talks about how Celtics do not lose back to back, and for a long time they haven't either so people could be right and Celtics could win this game as well, but it will be Warriors home-court advantage, so it is not going to be that simple.

I guess that it is going to be a big trouble for Celtics. If they lose, then Warriors are up, and I believe it is going to be easier for Warriors to take over the series after that, 3-2 is not an easy task, anyone who reaches 3 first, has an immense advantage. Of course that is not the case at all times, Warriors knows it very well, they lost from 3-1 up.
The ball is round and there's no way that we could really able to assure on what would be the outcome of this game 5 which is indeed the winner would be giving out on the advantage on getting the
championship and once you do get that 3 wins then only 1 win left then it would be over. Home court advantage? We know its relevance but we know that Homecourt talks
wont really be that much a solid basis.

Celtics doesnt lose back to back? Lets see if this one would be accurate on upcoming game. Some been saying about sweeping but we are totally seeing different
scenario.
2613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna 2.0 keeps falling on: June 13, 2022, 07:12:21 PM
LUNA 2.0? still believe? haha you are really wasting time on trash projects,
Do Kwon has really become a scammer in my opinion,
even though he launched LUNA 2.0 but what happened to those who bought at $20? totally bullshit with this project
Recently the allegations of Do kwon cashing out billion was a false allegation.
Do Kwon Accused of Cashing out $2.7B Before UST Collapse, Terra Founder Says Allegations Are False
Source: https://news.bitcoin.com/do-kwon-accused-of-cashing-out-2-7b-before-ust-collapse-terra-founder-says-allegations-are-false/

But this one should be enough on trusting up Luna once again? Just like others been saying that
crash of this one is uninventable considering the trust had been broken already.
2614  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I survive in a place where BTC is restricted? on: June 12, 2022, 09:24:54 PM
Each country does have their own takings and perceptions into different things specially we do talk about Bitcoin or crypto as a whole which there would be places who
would fully accepted it and there are who would completely ban it thats why it would be not that good to experience or deal with crypto if its banned.
So lucky for those who had lived on a country which does have good impressions and taking about bitcoin or crypto as a whole.
You could really be that confident on dealing with something which isnt banned or prohibited.
2615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: June 12, 2022, 08:14:14 PM
My friend faces serve symptom before gambling - there came a time he stopped gambling because his health was deteriorating.
He says he is far better now and got rid of everyday anxiety - he said health is wealth and I want to enjoy my health
It's not just about gambling. It's a human nature thing. It's not the same for everyone, but some people are like that. Negative effects can be seen on the body when too much stress is applied. These effects can occur because gambling creates a very stressful ambiance. I hope your friend will not be exposed to too many stressful events other than gambling and his health will not deteriorate.
@mm2543363580 I hope you can remind your friend to continue to maintain health and also stay away from thoughts that make him stress.

anyone would be stressed when it comes to money. but if it has reached the stage of damaging health and even increasing disease then the best action to prevent worse things from happening is to reduce or even stop gambling.

Absolutely right. When money is involved, everything is different. The human body is completely changing. My ears are ringing too. This situation does not pass for a long time, it continues for days. When I stay away from everything that is stressful and start reading a book , I relax. I would recommend it to everyone.
Not only reading a book or any habits or activities which would really make yourself separate with gambling situation or awareness which is something recommendable.
Its true that whenever we do hear out money making related activities then it do really ring out in our ears which is something normal.
Body illness or sickness might already have existed before you do engage with gambling and on the time that it do pops out or already can be seen then you do
took all the blame to gambling. So its very situational i must say.
2616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: June 12, 2022, 07:07:14 PM
We should have been in the month of JUNE-JULY already in the monthly bullish phase,
but unfortunately the price of Bitcoin we can't predict correctly either,
because it's been sideways for months and finally broke below $28k again today,
this is really terrible according to me, because many experts also said $20k will come.
Yeah, there are lots of sayings and rumors or mumblings about going into that 20k price which i dont see for it to be impossible but of course no one really knows if this one would happen or not.We cant really precisely tell on what would gonna happen in the future to come.

We might be seeing in the past that June-July is having some bullish state or sentiment but we know that we cant be sure if it would be following on the same pattern
for on next years thats why its not a guarantee.

Market is confusing and unpredictable since from the start thats why this would really require out some good analysis and trial and error.
2617  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: June 11, 2022, 11:24:30 PM
It will give you something and the casino will probably reward you. It will be better for you because you are not using the leak in the server personally but can tell the casino so they can fix it quickly.
Yeah using a disadvantage of a person to our own gain is rather selfish and unethical.
However not everyone has ethics and morals,
But in every way, It is good to be good.
We don't have to follow people who think to take advantage of someone's loss, especially if it's about using the bugs of a website to attract big bucks. The money we get will not last long and there is a possibility that we will also suffer losses at another time. So better to just let them do what they are doing and if we know something is leaking on their site, we let the team know to fix it right away.
For reputable sites then it would really be that understandable that they would really be making out that immediate fix because they dont really like for the reputation to be affected thats why its understandable on such

action unlike on others which arent that popular where as long they dont get any complaints or someone who are in rage about the issue then they wont really be fixing it out since they do know that it could
really benefit them out but it all varies on the owner on how honest they are.

Vulnerabilities could really be always there thats why as a gambling site owner then you should be mindful about that because there are people who do tend
to abuse it no matter what.
HIring a ethical hacker and keeping the site uptodate can site owner away from so much trouble. Also updating the website for malfunction can be helpful too.
But the hackers are too smart and a step ahead of the webmakers and the site designer. There is no end to these vulnerabilities but some of the precautionary measures can be helpful.
Sometimes trust would be an issue thats why some owners wont really be considering on getting some ethical hacker or someone who do really make out some backtesting but if they do have the budget(which is a must)
then they should do because it is really for the benefit on overall website security which is really that important specially if you are a site that do store up lots of money from its users.
If you dont pay up attention on something like this then it might backfire anytime soon when exploits and vulnerabilities would be exposed.
2618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the value of USDT less than one dollar? on: June 11, 2022, 10:44:10 PM
I've been seeing that with USDT even before the issue has popped on it. It's really fluctuating from $0.99 to $1.0xx but I understand that it should really be valued and won't move that much and equal to a dollar.
I guess everyone's going to panic if we start to see it go down at $0.98 and then the whole market will collapse as we know that there's a huge contribution that's coming from the Tether.
Highest dropped?
Tether Loses Dollar Peg as Crypto Anxiety Hits No. 1 Stablecoin
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-05-12/tether-moves-to-reassure-market-after-biggest-stablecoin-slips

Falling to 94.55
As long it wont be falling .90 then i dont see some issues
yet volatility for a stablecoin isnt something shocking imho.
2619  Economy / Economics / Re: Get, Save & Invest. on: June 11, 2022, 09:55:36 PM
Cryptocurrencies give us the freedom to invest at any time, if we see the current price is very cheap then invest immediately and make it for the long term then I'm sure you can make big profits, the principle of a successful investor is to be willing to take risks and of course be patient.
well - in our country - which is a third world country people hardly have money to save and invest nowadays.
There is a hue and cry everywhere due to inflation and the things have changed the over all economy of my county - how can someone in my country - save and invest when they are hardly making their both ends meet.
This is indeed the reality on which people cant really make out some savings due to not right amount of salary or earnings that they could really get out of their day job which even getting some extra amounts would be a tough challenge for them.
Its easy to say from someone on having some savings but its not specially if you do have lots of responsibilities or simply being a family man which would really be ending up on spending it all.
Unless if you have a better job that does have better pay and make out some strict fund management in terms of expenses then you could really have that chance.
2620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Legendary Forumla of Dip = Opportunity on: June 10, 2022, 06:33:23 PM
Can we call it curiosity or anxiety maybe could say fear factor mostly influenced many individual by selling of their asset due to the market instability waving. What i mostly noticed is that spending time studying the market is very hard for mostly people or for those who just jumped into the market without properly analyzed the market when it goes against them that's when regrets comes fort leaving them in a confused state either to sell or buy neither hodl.
When you enter the market without any in-depth research and on gaining idea on how your investments will prosper, expect that it will be totally hard for you to manage your investments and may don't even know how to act accordingly either to buy or sell when the market is showing crypto prices in dips.  For most of the newbies, they develop fear and panic when the prices have become unstable and ends up selling their coins at a loss. While smart investors act fast and takes advantage on buying for potential coins while the market is giving dip opportunities to buy and hodl.
At the end of the day the markets are at their core a decision making contest, no one is perfect and we will make mistakes but the ones which on average take better decisions will make profits while those which make the most mistakes will lose it, it is that simple, and truth to be told newbies do not have what it is necessary to take the right decisions the majority of the time, meaning that even if they get lucky once in a while, over the long term their decision making ability will come up short and they will eventually suffer massive losses.
We do really have that beginners luck but we know that this is something that cant really sustain for long term and on the time where they do experience profitable trades then they would mainly thought that trading is easy
then they do become confident and this is where losses starts to come out and which it is really just a normal scenario because people wont eventually learn if they wont experiences losses.
Whenever the market price declines then its not always means about opportunity specially on altcoins which we know that there are indeed tendency of long time recovery or doesnt really pump anymore
thats why any decision to be made does have corresponding risk which is pretty basic so its up to someone on how they would gonna deal with it or accept it.
