I don't have a friend who has a gambling business but I'm sure the owner of a gambling business is someone who has ever played gambling but his mindset has changed from a gambler to a gambling business owner and regarding whether they gamble as much as other people do, that's what has to be done we ask each gambling owner personally LOL. If they gamble, do you think they gamble on their platform?
maybe they play on their gambling site for various purposes like testing their system or others but this is definitely a secret that must be kept by all gambling business owners. If they also play on the site they created, doesn't that appear as an act of fraud? There's no fraud in it, it's not recommended that they play because they are not going to profit from doing so, if they are going to play their motivation should be in checking if their platform is doing great and they may act like a real gambler and don't think that they own the site, I read in one article where a clothing owner disguises himself as a customer to see if his staff is doing good in their customer support and to observe customers reaction, this is a good business practice. But playing for the sake of playing or winning for owners is not good and just a waste of time. |

Ahh... Owlgames, a name I haven't heard in a while. And you too, been a while. Yes, their customer service is notoriously poor. On one case I followed, they kept trying to assign the blame to the victim --that case didn't end beautifully due to the victim's own greed, though-- and diverting the matter at hand to other topic. While on the other case they almost costed a reputation of another betting platform who uses them as a third party service. Moving to the point of the case, I don't think your accusation here will made known to them, since they're been away for a while, 20 January. Let me try to hail them via TG and let's hope they don't... block and kicked me out. Great effort on your part unfortunately they are good at ignoring people and the community, they locked their thread because they don't want to be part of the community discussion anymore but unfortunately they cannot ignore all the accusations created for them, the longer they ignore the chances that gamblers will lose trust on their platform. Maybe what OP means is the majority of the same answer, there are threads with polls on it so members can vote on what is the best course of action or answer. Going back to the topic, this is a forum, and there's always diversity and variation of answers, depending on the knowledge of the member, some have deep knowledge of the subject being asked, while others just based it on hearsay, opinion or what they read, you still have to check all the given answer to satisfy you. |

I read that Ryan Garcia is solving the supposedly rematch clause and who is supposedly had controls, say why not go for all or nothing? Winner takes everything, no rematch whatsoever.
That is a daring, but it's business, I doubt that Al Haymon or even his own boxing manager will allow that to happen.
They will just have to meet in the middle ground so that both parties can make money in this big fight.
It's not easy as it sounds, and Ryan knows that, maybe what he is trying to imply is that he is ready to fight Davis what ever the stakes are. And if this fight boggles down (hopefully not), all fingers are going to point to the camp of Tank Davis and Al Haymon. It might be really hard to work a arrangement with that camp, but there are still hope that this fight can be salvage. It's ok for us to have the fight move because they are in a deadlock right now, as long as this is going to happen whether June or onwards. Ryan is the one who's very vocal fighting Davis so in terms of adjustment he's the one who needs to do everything to make the fight happens, whatever it takes he and his camp needs to adjust. It's really something that he can still make things happen and it a proper adjustment that they can deal with, the fight can be negotiated and can be a close deal contract fight. Even it can be move, fans will continue to chase for this fight. He should make this fight happen, in his 7 years in boxing he hasn't proven anything but just being an Instagram superstar with no legit title to his credit and the only well-known fighter he has fought was Campbell, some of his contemporaries are already champions he should at least win one World title to make him a legit boxer, he is not on a great boxer level yet and this fight with Tank will catapult him to greatness and it is also this fight that could possibly sink his career. |

They are in a gambling business they should know the in and out of the gambling business, they will not know these if they are not gamblers themselves, and I don't think they are going to play on their platform, what's the logic they can manipulate the results and even if they win it's not actually winning because it comes from their pocket it's pretty useless. And like all the others here I don't think they will allow their staff or employees to play because it's unethical if they run into issues they will favor themselves since they are the ones running the casino if I were the owner I will not allow that, and all owners will do the same. |

He can say all he want about Tank Davis because he doesn't know the feeling of becoming the champion and spitting words like that is nonsense because he's not in Tank's situation. I bet he will request the same thing too if he's the champion, but I guess he will not have that feeling.

There are way many posts on this forum pointing to the likes of free wallet and others that gives you zero private keys and only use email and password to log-in. People will never learn it seems.
There are already unresolved complaints on Freewallet and it goes back to 2017 every year there are more adding to these accusations this is why Freewallet never take down their website because they always have a supply of victims because people like OP love to use custodial wallets and are not doing their research. The whole Crypto community always warn against the use of custodial wallet but so many people still ignore these warnings they will only stop when they face problems like this. |

I have got a simple question to you. why in the world you come here to ask for money to strangers instead applying for a loan to your local bank (which is whatany serious business would try in the first place)?  I am letting you know, you are not the first one who comes here asking for money and you won't be the last one. This is a good question. There's a few reasons: 1. I cannot take out a business loan as I would get rejected as the business hasn't been around long enough 2. Getting a loan from banks for online gambling is very hard as underwriters don't really touch this niche 3. Can't take out a personal loan as I do not have credit nor do I have a "normal" job which banks like to see if they give personal loans. These are just some of the reasons, hope it helps you understand. Since you're asking for an additional flow of funds what guarantee can you give to your partner that it will become profitable and how long before the ROI of your investors, you have to present in a way that will make your fledging casino profitable once the investment comes in, do you have a ready presentation or roadmap once your potential investors pour in $200k this is not a small amount, so you have something and that something is appealling to your potential investors. |

Now that Metamask marked their site as a phishing site that's the end of their platform, but since this is a new way to scam people, mostly bounty hunters or testers are going to buy another domain and create the same platform, they are going to do it over again, until they scam a lot of people and the majority of people know this scheme.
We have to trace these platforms and report it, I'm sure there will be other ones or more coming.

Not really mentors but moderators who check your post and delete your post if is redundant and spam, so if you receive a message that your post or posts are deleted by moderators that's a sign that you are doing something wrong Personally am here to learn more than doing what I don't know how to do best. Although Cryptosystem community is very large one which you can not learn everything at once but with you guys here, sure going to learn enough about bitcoin, Bitcoin wallets, transactions, mining and trading, market situations and policies. Everything you mentioned are all here you just need to learn how to use the search form here in Bitcointalk or use Google search and add the word Bitcointalk at the end and you will have the results that you're looking for here in Bitcointalk or you can check the sections about the subject and explore, you can even stumble topics that you are not looking for in the first place but interesting to you. |

I want to ask a question. And I need serious answer from this forum, and my question is WHY DOES A GAMBLER DON'T HAVE A SAVINGS.
In my country (Nigeria) there are many gamblers who don't have savings and it isn't help matters at all. Most of these gamblers can't afford for there families but they can afford money they will use to gamble. So why are they not having savings that they can use to help there families in time of lack. Like they said, we save money so money can save us tomorrow. But these gamblers doesn't know that.
Not all gamblers, we need not generalize, those gamblers who only chase their losses are the ones who don't have savings I gamble and still have savings, and some of my friends also have savings but still gamble. Responsible gamblers have the allocation and they stick to it, so if you know a gambler and he has savings he is a responsible one but even if a gambler has no savings we cannot consider him a compulsive gambler. |
