1601  Economy / Services / Re: Signature/bounty campaigns referral system on: July 03, 2023, 10:53:13 AM
I remember some thread like this asking before, but sadly there is no campaign manager as of the moment accept such as referral program as per my knowledge (i hope there is). Maybe because they are so confident of their network where their previous participants always recommends them to those company's representative/owner that are asking.
The project's I get doesn't even know what is bitcointalk or never cared about it

Are they Cryptocurrency related projects when it comes to discussion about Bitcoin, Bitcointalk always comes out as the number one platform, and if they know Nakamoto they know what other projects and platforms Nakamoto launched, but I am also aware that there are companies that are not aware of Bitcointalk and they are losing in terms of promotions and backlinks.
1602  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Investors Confidence in Bitcoin💪 on: July 02, 2023, 11:39:38 PM

Hopefully, during the Bitcoin Halving of 2024, Bitcoin will break all previous records and reach a peak price.

What is your opinion on this?

History tells us that every halving of Bitcoin is setting a new record, but it's still volatile it can still go down after a peak so if you want to make a profit from halving timing on buying and selling is important, right now this is the best time to buy only a year before the halving and much more good news coming we're going to see a new Ath.
1603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: July 02, 2023, 11:20:06 PM

Zhang did it well. Not a fluke for sure but this is with the advantage that Joyce's vision in his right eye is not very clear after a blow. That one shot give him the advantage to win. He didn't even KO Jyce but the doc stopped the fight because even the ref sees the guy is not fit to fight anymore.

Credit is given though. He fought well even from the start. He throws counter and he is also big which is sure his fists carries weight.

Joyce was caught by surprise if you analyze the fight, especially the first round you can see that his jabs and punches are blocked and Zhang's punches got in, and he has no response to that, the first round set up the pace for the whole fight, and second round and onwards its all Zhang, Joyce team did not do their assignment in the first fight and they better be now, because their fighters is on the brink of losing everything he worked for so many years.

I still do not want to count out Joyce, he'll be better this time and if the fight is exciting like the first one and Joyce got the win, we may have a trilogy, who knows so let's see.
1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 02, 2023, 11:02:11 PM

that is the dilemma of some parents who have underage kids, as they can't look after them 24/7, and the access today is quite easy as 1-2-3, they can just rely on the teachings they give to their kids at home and hope that they won't go off course.
and let's admit that most casinos care for how much they can take in from their players, usually they will only flag down the account if they see big winnings and want to stall paying their winnings.

That's one bad scenario you have a kid winning a huge amount of money, he used his real name and not thinking that one day he can win a big amount of money, and yet being a kid can not have that amount, these kids will then learn to manipulate KYC, so letting kids play in casinos will not only make him addicted to gambling at an early age but there's a possibility that he will be exposed to corruption, kids nowadays are imaginative.
1605  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a Strategy? Is it a good Strategy? on: July 02, 2023, 09:09:13 PM
Public beef or fights involving billionaires, celebrities, or even top companies often puts them into the spotlight, attracting attention and generating increased traffic, hence, more income. My question arises as to whether you think some or most of these conflicts are genuine or intentionally crafted/orchestrated by the parties involved to maintain their prominence and financial gains.
Also, could this be considered as a strategic element of their business or career strategy? And If so, is this a good strategy?

These billionaires and celebrities have inflated egos they always want to be in the lead and they want to be praised in all their works and if someone takes that attention from they are threatened and want to challenge that guy this is what exactly happens to the rumor of Mark Zuckerberg - Elon Musk fist fight, of course, this is good to generate attention for their respective business even though there is no need to do this because they will end up both looks like kids who want attention.

Whether intentionally or orchestrated they are gaining attention but it looks like based on their history against each other, they really hate each other and they want a venue to release that hate.
1606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gospel Preachers: Is Bitcoin the Last Currency in the World? on: July 02, 2023, 01:40:03 PM

I think you mean the Revelation 13:16-18 which states that no one can buy and sell without the mark of the beast. It’s not a currency but something that was implant or tattoo to people in able to make a transaction. While the world will have a single currency to transact.

OP did not include this on his thread but those two sects of religion do not have a full understanding of Cryptocurrency, they just concluded and preached that Bitcoin is the one being mentioned, but it's unlikely that it is because no government is controlling Bitcoin it used to be a computer chip or ATM in the past, but now with the growing popularity of Bitcoin they connect it to that verse in the Bible, this is one of the things that hinders the development of Bitcoin.
If this is true that some sects of religion are doing this then we should call them out to enlighten them about Bitcoin and ask them to explain why they have to connect to Bitcoin that bible verse.

1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gualtieri Vs Falcao Vacant IBF World Middleweight CHAMPIONSHIP July 1 on: July 02, 2023, 12:07:54 PM

Is there a rematch clause for this fight? The fight was close even with those two knockdowns and if not for those Falcao could have win this one so a rematch might be good to sealed the business.

Yeah that I agree it should be held in the US, let's see if Gualtieri can hold up fighting in a foreign territory, I don't think Gualtieri can hold on to the title for a long time, the Middleweight is one challenging weight category, there are so many great fighters in that division.

This guy is unrated and yet IBF has given him a chance to fight for the world title, this fight did not generate enough interest here because both fighters are unknown in the boxing world.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A qualified strategy exist in gambling? If yes, come and talk. on: July 02, 2023, 09:04:30 AM
This new topic is the proving ground for my ideas on my last one.

Anyone can post here and should be respected even you won't give a shit on any words here. I would not judge.

Are you sure? how about this one how do you explain this I thought anyone who posted here that does not go with your idea will be respected, in the first place you should not post on something that is vague and your post is full of Sh## words.

Please read and think, if you still don't get it, just leave and have fun on other topics. I don't want to beat anyone including myself. Just enjoy the shit you have. Maybe make some friends to have similar ideas here. Life is short. Talking is cheap. Can't understand why people don't get it. You pay what you believe. No arguing, no shit feelings. Enjoy bro.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 02, 2023, 05:54:39 AM
The majority of online casinos clearly stipulated the age that they can accept to play on their platform but we know kids today in this present generation, are curious and thinks that they are mature enough to try everything.

Everything is accessible online and platforms have no ideas who are using their platform, much more on casinos, it's when they are asking for KYC that they only found out the real age of their players.

Playing online and playing in physical casinos are very different when it comes to issues about age, because on physical casinos if you look young they will ask for a valid ID to confirm your age, on online casinos, they will only ask about your documents if your activity in their platform is questionable.

So young people who win a big amount and security asked for KYC run the risk of getting their winnings confiscated and their account banned.
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo - September 30th in Las Vegas on: July 01, 2023, 08:36:44 PM
This is a big turn of events if this is final then we can request bisdak40 to close the other thread so we can have the discussion here, but whoever Charlo Canelo is fighting, Canelo is still going to win, he can beat both brothers because their style and power is no match against Canelo, it's better than Jermell is the one facing, Jermall has a two year lay off and he'll have ring rust compared to Jermell who has fought last and beat Castano by knock out.
This is more interesting as both fighters are undisputed in their respective division.
1611  Economy / Services / Re: GIVE AWAY! FREEBEE! Around 1000 words human translation in many languages. on: July 01, 2023, 04:04:52 PM
Hi,

I give away a freebee to a reputable member here on the forum.

Give me the text you want to translate to another language and I will deliver quality translation!

Got to give away some stuff sometimes!

Are you going to use a translator tool to do this I doubt if you knew a lot of languages because you did not specify the languages where you are good at, why not just post translation tools that you are using so we'll know how good it is, this is a much better give away, you know sharing is caring and much better than giveaways.
1612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Considerations Before Investing in Bitcoin - For Beginner on: July 01, 2023, 03:14:26 PM

Find a Mentor or Consultant
    - Consider consulting a financial advisor or investment professional with expertise in cryptocurrencies. They can provide personalized guidance based on your personal circumstances and goals. Of course for this, you need to consider spending more money for consultations.

I and none of my friends and those I am going to teach about Cryptocurrency will not recommend this why would you spend money and why would you allow people to create personalized guidance, it's you that needs to set up this one, this is laziness remember you are your own bank, you don't want other people to meddle how you set up your bank you just read watch and apply what you read and watch and the best things everything is free, Satoshi gave it to us free and he expects that we learn his teaching and apply it.

Better omit that number 9 it's not good to consider and check other members' posts they too do not agree on point number 9.
1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to borrow ETH to buy BTC? on: July 01, 2023, 02:07:14 PM
May I ask you to share your experience and advise about how to borrow ETH to buy BTC, please? I'm interested in taking adventage of price action so could be settled off-chain.

Why would you, I don't think it's a good idea because of the market volatility and trading fees this is risky you should study the advantage and the disadvantage honestly I have not thought of this and I guess no one will do this method.

I discourage taking a loan to invest, but I very much discourage this one there's no logic in this one, if you don't have an option and the market is doing great why not borrow fiat and invest in Bitcoin, much easier than doing this than what you're planning.
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 01, 2023, 01:53:01 PM
Do you set aside specific times each day or week for gambling?

I gamble when I feel that I want to play not when I need to play, 2 to 3 times a week at the most this is I believe safer as you don't develop your gambling addiction.
Quote
When it comes to visiting casinos, do you play at one today or this week and then try out a different one the next time you want to gamble?

I stick to the casinos I'm comfortable playing but I sometimes try out new casinos to see how the interface is different from the casinos I'm playing.

Quote
As for bankroll management, do you track it using an app, Excel, or any other methods?
I never do that keeping track of your losses and winning is a bad idea you will just feel guilty.

Quote
And regarding your environment, do you prefer playing at an online casino while listening to music in the background, or do you prefer a quiet atmosphere?

I have my headphone and listen to music that depends on my mood usually soft rock.
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: July 01, 2023, 09:06:28 AM
He wants to go back and have his name in the discussion for a Fury or Usyk fight if he wins here. Although the hype might not be there as he is no longer undefeated, specially a fight with Fury, all British showdown.

Unless he wins in a grand fashion like knocking him out, Joyce is in a hurry to get back into title contention against Fury or Joshua taking a huge risk, because so many rematches are just continuations if done earlier of course with a few exceptions, Joyce must get Zhang respect in the early rounds because on their first fight, Zhang surprisingly overwhelmed Joyce with to many jabs and punches in the first round and it takes a toll on Joyce motivation.
Joyce should turn the tide and have to show something different in the first two rounds Zhang will just go forward and pour everything and this is something Joyce should address.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turn $40,000 into $4,000,000 with me (Record 0-0) | $40,000 on: June 30, 2023, 11:51:33 PM
OP is back in the drawing board with a big challenge, he's hoping to finally nail his first million wins so let's see if he can do this time, this is very challenging but we all know OP is immune to risk he has a gambler's luck as we can see on his past bets, I don't know if we have a similar thread like this in the past but if he nails it, expect a big celebration and I don't think he will stop creating a challenging thread like this because this is very addictive.
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 30, 2023, 11:29:14 PM
Looks like the fight is really on, saw Dana White the other day wearing a shirt that says Elon vs Mark or some shit which I suppose is to be used as promo material for this upcoming fight, and then just yesterday news spread out that Elon is already training for the fight. This one’s a real banger. I was in it for the memes and the fact that two billionaires are gonna get their faces bashed in the octagon but now it seems like they are taking this stuff seriously and are really mad at each other for some reason. In any case this will definitely hold up well when push comes shove and they start fighting each other, which by the way correct me if I’m wrong, still doesn’t have a definite date yet right?

The world is taking the fight seriously it's everywhere now on Facebook sports channels and media channels and now the Italian government is asking both guys to do their match in their famous Colosseum.

Quote
This will blow your mind -- an official from the government of Italy contacted Mark Zuckerberg about staging a UFC fight against Elon Musk at the most legendary battleground in the world ... Rome's Colosseum ... TMZ Sports has learned.

https://www.tmz.com/2023/06/29/elon-musk-mark-zuckerberg-mma-fight-colosseum-rome-italian-government-dana-white-ufc/?adid=social-fb

And also TMZ learned that both fighters want their fight in the Colosseum, this is the biggest fight in modern history and it will be covered and become a historical fight if this fight ever happens, hopefully, both parties will talk about contract signing, and specify the date of the fight.
1618  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk own Casino complaint panel on: June 30, 2023, 10:03:04 PM
What if we have our own group of trusted user that can act as mediator to look on the case. We have a lot of talented and respectable user here that capable on handling the situation while most the casino representative has a close contact on campaign manager here.

Do you think this is a good idea to solve cases like this? Take note only case that involved a valid evidence and argument will be considered. A tip is also required in case the complainant is willing to use the forum service.

It may sound like a good idea but we all know its ok to have an alt account here in Bitcointalk, but what if one member of the panel's alt account is in that casino signature's campaign it will have a biased decision and what if some members of the panel is a VIP or active players of that casino.

It's better to have a platform do it because they do not have a stake in a casino and they already have a history of being a mediator, and we have the scam section where all members are free to give their views and DT can tag scammers.
1619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Predicting Sports Betting Future Trends and Technologies on: June 30, 2023, 01:46:22 PM

Top 4 Trends and Technologies that Will Shape the Industry

2. AI oddsmaking and handicapping
Arena is an artificial intelligence start up that is generating simulations of human behavior. The simulations should help those in the advertising industry better determine where to spend their ad dollars.

If Arena’s AI tech can help the ad industry, it for sure could help determine where players are most likely to put their money. If that happens, oddsmakers will have a powerful tool. If we take it further, AI could help players, especially players that bet a lot of money, find optimal wagers based on odds.

Without a doubt, there’s a place for AI technology in the sports betting industry. We must all keep an eye on how things develop.

Of the four this is the one that I found interesting, this is still speculative AI is proven to work in other industries but in gambling, it is not yet proven and the study is still ongoing, It still works on probability and analysis just like human behavior, it will never take into account upsets and under unavoidable circumstances but let's see if it gets good results then it will become popular among players.
1620  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: June 29, 2023, 10:40:54 PM

But if we talk about money laundering, the casino has the separate security for that.  The wagering requirement is not to prevent mone laundering or washing coins but rather as a requirement so that a casino can have the chance to at least eat some of the gambler's balance.
Why would casinos have that house edge and wagering requirement for them to compel players to play and lose but casinos will mark you as a launderer if you use the casino as a transit point when you deposit you have to play, there is no reason why you'll deposit and not play, but casino is not a good choice for money laundering because they have wagering requirement as we all know and even if the chance to win is high, there's still a risk to lose everything, money launderer will take a chance on mixer, no requirements and no KYC involve.
