2621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CrazyTime and Monopoly, should we trust? on: February 14, 2022, 11:42:55 PM
When we've got more number of trusted gambling platforms with number of casino games and sports betting access, what's the need for risking our money on such games where the legitimacy isn't known. Atleast with the gambling platforms it is possible to check the fair functioning. With those games what the outcome is the result, and it can't be cross checked. Even the trusted platforms fail at times, so better is to avoid these kind of games.
2622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin will FAIL on: February 14, 2022, 08:50:05 AM
Many users have said dogecoin will die soon or later for different reasons. From the day I got to know the term cryptocurrency I've known about dogecoin, because it was one among the altcoin in the top order.

I've never thought of dogecoin to have any real-time usage, but it is possible to see any gambling platform to have dogecoin among the list of accepted cryptocurrencies. During those days only the popular ones will be added, and with the recent support from Elon Musk it has made a comeback. Same as the past it might be preferred for trading than any oth real-time usage. For this reason dogecoin isn't gonna end or fail.
2623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is A Better Option Than Fiat Money? on: February 14, 2022, 07:45:08 AM
With the existence of bitcoin it has proven to the monetary system that infinite finance is a failure model. We people have been used to it, and it has provided users with the best service features.

The infinite printing of currency with gold backing makes the centralised system trustworthy against the technology backed cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency and fiat have got advantages over the other, but with time the adoption only will give the answer whether bitcoin is a better option or the fiat will fulfill people with the features of cryptocurrency.
2624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 14, 2022, 07:01:36 AM
I really like how Pakistan is trying to make the problem of not being able to play in the IPL as a benefit for them. And actually, this might be a blessing in disguise as they are trying to improve their own T20 League and also are being able to concentrate on it much more. I really think they have done a good job with PSL but there is always room for improvement.

There is no benefit of IPL other then getting huge money. You can easily compare performance of Pakistan with India in last T20 WC where Pakistan completely outclassed India. PSL is as good as other leagues in terms of performance but its outclassed by IPL in terms of salaries given to players.
In terms of performance Pakistan players outclassed India in the World Cup T20. PSL have been giving world class cricket league, but the success have come far from the beginning. The salaries of IPL team players were quite high and if Pakistan players were allowed to apply for IPL, surely more players will enroll. Also Pakistan players will have good price in auction.
2625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 14, 2022, 05:24:54 AM
Just like that, Drake made a millions as he bet on Rams. I wonder if he only bet on Stake and not with the other site. Also, congrats to those who place their bet, I was able place mine and now I’m happy with the result. Looking forward for the next Million bet of Drake, maybe in NBA next.

I'm looking at the bet slip and it show that his bet is on Beckham to run he'd run 62.5 receiving yards.

Did Beckham got 62.5 receiving yards?

But yeah if he bet straight up with the Rams, he won his bet.

And then Beckham scoring a touchdown as well. So it's a big win for Drake, but need someone to confirm his bet on the receiving yards for Odell.
He has placed three bets. One is on the winning. He won the bet as Rams won the match. The next one is the Odell Beckham Jr over 62.5 receiving yards, and this is a lost bet. The last one is the Odell Beckham anytime touch down, which is a win for him.

2627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin thief on Bitfinex exchange caught? on: February 14, 2022, 12:14:30 AM
Right now it is time for bargain. Now the officials will be in talks about the share. Probably they're the one to get the $400 million rewards announced by bitfinex. According to data 3.6 million bitcoins were lost. Now through this a small part of the idle bitcoin have been recovered and gets connected to the network. Users who haven't received compensation in the past could get benefitted through the recovery.

During those days hacks were very common. At time revealing some statements regarding exchange hacks were done to create panic and disturb the market. Nowadays the security breach isn't possible.
2628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 13, 2022, 10:57:49 PM
Yes sadly as Argentinian Diego cant retain the tittle and can defend the home tournament. But he isnt in his best moment and Casper Ruud its one of the player with most future in the ATP i think.
SO i have to congratulate who win his bet and Casper for the tittle.
In the doubles one Argeninian win at least.
Second time Ruud is winning the Argentinian Open. This tournament have got 101 years of history, and he is the first Norwegian to win it in the year 2020 against Pedro Sousa, now the second time against Schwartzman. Ruud being the best on clay court is also a growing player with good potential among the young generation.
2629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just luck on: February 13, 2022, 10:16:13 PM
Making big profit out of shitcoins is just luck and the same can't be attributed with the market movements. If you've invested on Shiba or on some of the shitcoins that have been getting turned to be a potential altcoin during the recent downfall, then it can be considered a market learning. Slowly the market for Shiba is getting stronger with regular update to the development along with more partnering and acceptance on stores. This enhance the market than being a coin that is a choice of luck. Shiba to keep its market have been burning the tokens and keeping the market stagnant without big fluctuation.
2630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 13, 2022, 09:07:11 PM
I had a bet on Ruud to beat Delbonis and he is favourite to beat Swartzmann @ 1.50
to 2.55 for Diego.
I took Ruud to beat Schwartzman today @1.48. I feel like he has a distinct advantage on clay with his strong serve / forehand combo against opponent who does not have a strike strong enough to finish the points easy. I am bit afraid for the bet since I did not watch the tournament at all so I am not sure how those guys are actually playing at the moment. This bet is based on last year clay performances.
Its really hard to say who can be the winner of this tournament.
I put 60 % of chance of win to Diego Schwartzman because he is in his home with his public and defend the tittle here, but in the other hand Ruud in this moment its a better player than him, like we can see in the ranking.
Also the argentinian and the spanish are specialist in clay.

Very interesting game so far. First set for Schwartzmann, but now the momentum seems to be with Ruud quite a lot. This is certainly going into a third set. I would say that is what the audience loves, especially if a player is involved who is playing in the name of your own country.
The match has moved to the third set. Ruud is playing hard and I don't think the third set to be an easy one. In the second set Ruud have made a strong play and has made 4 aces which is a confident play. Argentina Open is dominated by these two players, because this is the eighth time both playing against each other in the finals. Third sets first point is taken by Ruud.
2631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The world’s first blockchain toothbrush lets u mine coins by brushing your teeth on: February 13, 2022, 04:45:08 PM
I think this idea has a positive and negative impact on the population, because some will brush all day just to mine coin which is not good for the health.
Grin even with the heavy hard wear for mining it is still a difficult process to mine Bitcoin let alone just brushing your teeth which usually wouldn't take 10min, so how much sats will you be getting even if you brush your teeth all day Grin. It is s good marketing strategy but I don't think even if it went through if that will last long, what happens when you change the toothbrush?
Possibly this toothbrush firm have partnered with some of the dental firms. People out of curiosity will brush for long time which will destroy the oral health of the people. As said everything is connected with business, maybe the dental firms will give a share to the brush manufacturer. In real-time these toothbrush isn't gonna make any big impact on the cryptocurrency network.
2632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't have a bright future anymore on: February 13, 2022, 03:39:02 PM
If this doesn't have bright future, surely this technology would've been defeated by the centralized system long ago. The technology is very young compared to the centralized system. In short time period what it has achieved in terms of adoption and growth is really big. As a result this has been making a big change in the world. Countries were facing hard inflation out of the traditional fiat, some have used cryptocurrency as a tool to get out of inflation. Maybe after years we can see more countries doing the same seeing the success rates of the countries that have adopted bitcoin.

Those altcoins mentioned were also potential ones, but with that it isn't a possible to defeat bitcoin. Even some other countries can adopt ethereum or other cryptocurrency, anything could happen. Only time can give the answer.

2634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 13, 2022, 05:19:57 AM
Crypto.com being the official sponsor for the UFC, both Adesanya and Whittaker have come carrying the crypto.com logo. The match is gonna start soon. Both are being checked by the refree. The rules and regulations are being read. Herb Dern stands as the refree.

ROUND ONE HAVE BEGUN

Both were having good patience, but the fight seems to be very effective.
After three rounds of fight it looks like Whittaker on the upper hand.
Whittaker is on good aggression.
After round 5 both showed the real sportsmanship to teg world.
Israel Adesanya win the middleweight Championship.
2635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: February 12, 2022, 06:26:26 PM
More businesses have been converting their fiat reserve to bitcoin fearing the inflation of traditional fiat. With time more countries are experiencing this, and the sufferers were the end users/consumers. For now bitcoin is the best investment. With the unlimited supply and printing of fiat, the process of value making is no more a possible thing. Possibly the future is cryptocurrency or technology defined limited supply currency.
2636  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Inflation is a big problem for a country? on: February 12, 2022, 06:10:30 PM
Inflation in simple term what we saved today becomes less valuable by tomorrow. This happens out of different reasons. Inflation can be easily understood when there is increase in the goods and services cost, particularly the basic needed things. The beneficiaries out of the inflation is the huge industries that charge additional amount for same products.

There won't be circulation of money. More currencies will be printed to make the situation normal. At some point there'll be increased production, and there won't be end consumers. Inflation can be kept under control by the governments economic development team, but majority fails in it.
2637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 12, 2022, 05:45:39 PM
Even Kohli is facing the worst time of his career but still having very strong back up from his team and current management is very good he can fight back anytime in near future because we have a very long history of bad patches of great batsmen, and they fight back done good for their respective teams same can happen here in Kohli.
This current ODI series is second worst of his career as second time he fails to have average in single digit, but with this all he is still very elegant player who can perform few more years for his team and country in very good way. Rohit Sharma is going to with him in this bad time is something very important for this great player of current era.
The question is how long Indian team will wait for kohli to return to his form? Are they going to wait for indefinite period. There is lot of talent lined up why not give some new talent a chance to perform while kohli goes back and recover his form in domestic cricket. Rohit Sharma won't be siding him forever if kohli continues such form.

I think that it is just him having a bad time then we really should not blame Kohli because he is facing some tough times right now and ideally think that every player should concentrate on his mental health which is really important for a player to perform well and consistently. And obviously, if a player has a bad series it's not going to be the end of his career, right?
Yes, Kohli will surely come back to form. This time it is taking more time. For a long Kohli is the one that is driving India towards win on majority of the matches. Whenever Kohli lacks performance that match would be really a tough one for India. As said players performance used to vary between time. Now Kohli is experiencing it and the return seems to be more powerful.
2638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 12, 2022, 04:08:39 PM

That was unexpected for this guy INR 15.25 crore by MI. RCB got Harshal Patel and Hasarangsa for INR 10.75 crore each. It is raining money for now. Till now Ishan Kishan is the most expensive player for IPL 2022. I do not think any franchise will bid for English players this time as they have not performed last year and also the humiliating defeat is Ashes.

Ishan kishan base price was 2 crore but he was sold for 15 crore INR. The guy has played only 3 ODI and 5 T20I for India. I really have no idea how they are paying so much money for average player. Ishan is now the second most expensive Indian player in IPL till date. Let's see what  benefit this 15 crore player gave to Mumbai.
He hasn't got big experience playing for the Indian cricket team, but he was the captain for U19 team during the year 2016. He have played good number of IPL matches, and his performance seems to be consistent which is the reason for his high pay on the auction. During 2018 auction he was bought by Mumbai Indians. In that season he is the highest run scorer for Mumbai Indians with with 516 runs from 14 matches. Maybe that can be a reason for paying this money on him.
2639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 12, 2022, 12:56:05 AM
I don't have much knowledge about Indian team family backgrounds so I can't comment on them but in the Pakistan team, yes there is a lot of nepotism. Remember the Akmal brothers (Umar Akmal and Kamran Akmal), both remained in the team together for a long time even one of them does not have good performance, the other brother ensures/pressurzies that he plays in the team.
Umar Akmal and Kamran Akmal are brother who play cricket but where does the nepotism comes in if they do not have anyone in the management that are fast tracking them in the team. Unless there is no one helping them stay in the team you can accuse them of nepotism. Kamran Akmal was the best keeper batsman available for Pakistan during that time and Umar Akmal was a decent batsman.

We can't say there is no nepotism, because going through the history of Umar Akmal and Kamran Akmal it is clear his father is a senior administrator in the Pakistan Cricket. Both are able players, but somewhere they might've used the influence. Other than Umar and Kamran, there is Adnan Akmal who is also a cricketer. Kamran Akmal's wife is the daughter of former test cricketer Mohammad IIyas. Umar Akmal's wife is daughter of former Pakistani leg spinner Abdul Qadir. Babar Azam who is an able cricketer is cousin of Akmal brothers.

With all this getting tied to cricket we can't say there is no nepotism. There is nepotism, still those players are able to give good performance unlike the way they entered the team.
2640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Crypto Testament on: February 11, 2022, 11:34:11 PM
This is a much discussed topic about the legal occurence of crypto holdings of the owner to his/her heirs. More suggestions can be seen in the below threads

What happens with my crypto when I die?
What happens to my bitcoin if I die today?
What happens to your Bitcoin when you Die?

Now something has come with supporting this kind of issues. The trademark Crypto Testament and Crypto Will is being registered to Ministery of Economic Development, Italy by two lawyers named Rocco Greco, from Montichiari, and Gianluca Bertolini, from Trapani.

What service they provide ?
To recover bitcoins after the death of the owner
The goals of Crypto Execution

This is being developed to ensure families that the cryptocurrency holdings of the deceased isn't lost. In many cases it is possible to see the owner alone holding the private key. This makes it impossible to recover the holdings. In such a way more bitcoins and altcoins were lost.

Crypto Will act as guarantors for both the person making the will and the heirs. Both the lawyers together have studied the need and have found a solution for the transfer of ownership, even if there is nothing mentioned about the possession of cryptocurrencies. This is expected to solve the big problem. It is a needed service, because at present based on a survey 18% of Italian people hold cryptocurrencies.
